Sand Goddess by Ann Cory
Chapter One Mason trudged through the desert, struggling to stay focused on his final destination. His feet ached and burned; the soles of his feet were blistered and raw. Sand, the only thing he'd tasted in days, clung to the rough stubble that etched his mouth. Dry, unquenchable, waterless sand. The last time he'd trudged this way, dehydrated and near death, he hadn't been able to distinguish real food for months. Still, she was worth it. Her stunning beauty was worth the price of starvation and agony of any kind. Arcadia. Even her name brought him into a state of euphoria. Arcadia. The keeper of his heart. Tormenter of his soul. His mistress. He hoped this journey would see him make it through alive. "Oh yes, My Love. This time you will fall under my spell." Not having someone to speak to for days made him hungry to hear a voice, even if that voice was his own. He reached into his small daypack and pulled out a canteen of water. Warm and tasteless, it did little to slake his relentless thirst. He removed his hat and wiped away a thick layer of sweat from his forehead. The path of the sand ahead was chiseled by the harsh, arid wind. Patterns of waves and ripples decorated the sleek exterior, forming a bevy of peaks and mountains that sunk beneath his scalded feet. He coughed in a brutal attempt to dislodge most of the grime from his lungs. Half of the time he fell into a coughing rage that nearly landed him on his ass, his 6

lungs feeling like they were filled with cement rather than grains of sand. Mason stopped at one of the chiseled peaks and looked around, his hand on his forehead to shade the sun's cruel rays. Finally. Instead of seeing nothing but more flat lands ahead, he saw his prized possession. A smile formulated across his chapped lips, making them bleed and ache. "There you are, My Beauty." Her graceful form stood off in the distance with closed eyes and a contented smile. Did she sense his presence? He dared not underestimate her powers and intelligence. Mason made his way down the relentless hill, stumbling in awkward steps. Clouds of sand filtered in his ears, eyes, and nose. For the moment, he didn't care about his pain. Everything about his beautiful goddess excited him, bringing his cock to a sharp erection. She'd caught his attention from the moment he first saw her, but everyone said she was unattainable. They said there was no way he could gain her affections—that it was impossible. Mason wasn't one to back down from a challenge, especially where a divine creature was concerned. When he'd first seen Arcadia, she had been a monument of power, sex, and fortune. Her very essence filled his parched lungs with renewed vigor. Since then, he hadn't been able to stop thinking about her: the way it would feel to touch her and caress her stately mounds. The way it would feel to conquer her. 7

One day, she would be his and no other man would dare to look her way. One day, he'd be her slave and do anything she wanted. Mason would indeed worship her. But only after he'd taken her into the mighty throes of passion and desire. And only after he had his hands around the large bricks of gold that waited for him. As he trudged on, he thought of Arcadia's special powers. They aroused him and frightened him at the same time. She was a warrior in many ways, but he knew she had a soft side. The trick would be in finding it. Her eyes, seen for a brief moment, were two orbs of scintillating gems. So powerful, they'd possessed his soul from the moment he'd first tried to run from their deadly glance. She took her responsibility seriously, not allowing anyone to pass. Mason shook his head. He'd never forget that moment of panic when he'd first dared to cross her path. The heat had sliced through his left side and melted the top layer of his skin like butter, leaving him forever scarred. Rather than deter him, it made him lust for her all the more. The sheer power she possessed had made his cock hard as steel, nearly blinding him with pain it was so strong. At night he'd dreamt about her: he mounted her voluptuous body, and took her until she begged him to stop. The dreams had almost driven him mad. When he'd awakened in the morning, the craving for her had escalated. "I will make you fall in love with me," he whispered into the wind. 8

Mason ran for as long as his lungs would hold out. Her insatiable form stood only ten feet away and she towered over him. Arcadia slept in a peaceful slumber, and he intended her to remain that way. He would never let another soul into her realm. The closer he moved toward her, the larger she loomed in all her majestic beauty. His legs shook in her presence. Out of admiration, Mason bowed before her. "My beautiful virgin sand goddess." For a moment he imagined her naked body undulating above him, thick strands of painted red swirling around them like a funnel. Her cries of absolute desire would carry for miles across the desert, and every man would know he was the victor. A smile played across his lips as the fantasy faded. Delirium was never far behind. The desert did strange things to men seeking fortune and desire, and he was no exception. His feet fumbled and he caught a mouthful of sand. She watched him. She taunted him with her sinful body, her figure rippling as if inside a puddle of water through the fiery air. She smoldered, sending sparks through his veins as his cock twitched against the fabric of his pants. His body begged to have the kind of release he'd only imagined. He needed to be with her, to calm his savage hunger. Mason reached out his hand and made contact. **** Heat curled through his body the moment he touched her. His dry hands slid down her smooth texture and traced the 9

lavish engravings. Symbols and divine graphics covered the base of her body. On the front of her form were handfuls of supple breasts only a giant could hold, round and shaped to immaculate perfection. Never would those beauties see an ounce of sag or wrinkle. Around her neck hung a ruby pendent, a gem she'd earned as the queen of her time. Her lioness body curved in all the right places, her stance an offering of exquisite charm and femininity. Mason adored the eagle wings, and when he climbed her majestic body, he hoped to resurrect the spirit to make her fly. "My lovely sphinx," he whispered. A fetid wind blew and burned his eyes. She had given him a message to not look without proper respect. He knelt in the scorched sand, ignoring the surging pain along his legs, and bowed his head. "My darling Arcadia, I bow before you in the hope you will look on me with far more kindness than our last encounter." He waited for her to speak, unnerved by the silence. "I do not wish your presence here." Her voice echoed and shook the ground. Shivers traveled up and down his spine. The first time he'd heard her speak had almost driven him away. But she'd continued to speak in such a languid and calm manner, he couldn't help but fall under her spell. A wave of lust gravitated to his cock. "I need you. All I ever think about is you. Arcadia, you haunt my dreams and I can't get your face out of my mind." Again he eyed her breasts, proud and firm. He longed to run his thirsty tongue along the unique texture and fondle 10

them for eternity—to prop his cock between her ample mounds and stain them with his white heat. The very thought made his pulse throb, tightening his erection. When she spoke again, her voice was harsh and thundered through the skies. "I warn you. Go now or you shall upset the gods." Mason laughed. Always playing hard to get. He liked a challenge. "My darling, I came here to be with you. Only you stand in the way of my ultimate dreams. Let me remind you what it feels like to be a woman. There is much you miss out on." His hands rested along her chiseled paws and he looked up at her potent eyes, which were still closed. Behind those eyelids housed crimson lights that, if revealed, could scorch his flesh and leave him charred. The marks from their first rendezvous still stung. He loved the danger he was about to face. It drove his sexual lust for her to an illicit level. Mason not only wanted her, he had to have her, at any cost. He imagined a purr escaped her firm, sand-laced lips. "Tell me, Arcadia, why is it you dislike me so?" "I dislike men with only greed on their minds." He brought his hand to his heart, as if her words wounded him greatly. "But you are the only thing on my mind. Doesn't the fact that I cannot stand the thought of any other soul mounting your succulent form seem like proof of my commitment and devotion to you? If greed is my vow to slay those who should even look at you, then for that I am guilty."

She paused and he hoped his words worked on her. "You speak out of line, Human. I can read your mind, and you have more on it than a sexual conquest." Mason shifted uncomfortably. Could she read his mind, or was that all part of the manipulation? He'd heard about Greek sphinxes, built of evil and highly dangerous. Of course she had every reason to be the way she was. She'd been built for a single purpose. Beyond her lay fields of gold and treasures untouched by any man. All who tried to walk before her failed, with death as their only consolation prize. Skeletons lay strewn, a forest of brittle bones that created a burial ground of legendary failures. The fatal crimson eyes had witnessed their descent into the sacred realm and burned them alive. This time would be different. Mason had a plan. Aside from the plan, he knew he was stronger, both physically and intellectually, than those who preceded him. He would not fail. "Please, Arcadia. You misjudge my intentions. My mind holds many scattered thoughts. But hear me when I say this: I want you more than anything in this world." When she spoke, her voice hardened his cock as if she stroked it with her mind. "I smell deceit on you." The words rumbled into the distance like thunder. "Give me a chance and I'll awaken all your senses. I promise, my touch will help you to think differently of men." Mason feigned confidence and walked behind her stately body, admiring her mystical wings. Incredible details were 12

etched on every sanded feather and gave the illusion they were set for take off. With his fingertips, he trailed along her smooth body, with his eyes focused on a small, round hole. There lay her weakness: a portal to the goddess herself. The men before him had been rank with greed, and thought only of the fortune that could be theirs. Only he knew the key lay with the queen herself. A smile crept along his face and again cracked his dried lips until they bled. He hoisted himself up with his hands. [Back to Table of Contents]

Chapter Two The climb was treacherous across the areas finely filed down by the sun and wind. With only fantasies to guide him, he was able to muster up enough strength to keep going. Mason stretched along the lioness' back until he found two notches where he could get a firm hold. He marveled at how swift he could move then, propelled by his primitive need to fuck her. To further his agony, he caught a whiff of her scent on the warm, desert wind. It drifted into his nose and lingered long enough to drive his animal instincts wild. Her entry was just within reach. He imagined her inner folds drenched from desire to know what a real man could do. "Your flesh is warm, Human, I will give you that." Mason noticed her voice had lost its edge. "I plan to fill you with my warmth." "I fear you will anger the gods." He laughed at her naivety. "My dear Arcadia, the gods won't mind if I share in your delights, trust me. Besides, they abandoned you decades ago, to be covered in sand and left to bake in the scorching heat. One day they won't need you anymore and will destroy you. It breaks my heart to even think about it. I would never treat you with such cruelty." "The gods never left. They still come to me and care for me." Mason blinked back sweat that dripped along his eyelids. Could it be true? No, he couldn't believe that. He was too close to turn back now. There were no gods anymore. 14

With determination in his voice, he did his best to sway her. "Lies. All lies to keep you hoping and waiting for them. The things they've told you will be unfulfilled promises. Mark my words. I'd never hurt you. I'm a man of honor, true to my word, and complete in my love for you." Mason continued to scale her luscious proportions. Closer, he inched toward her awaiting sex. He was almost there. His muscles ached and sweat poured from his body in buckets. Still, he was undeterred from his long anticipated goal. "You have strong hands." Her melodic voice mixed with the wind. "Yes, hands that caress your contours with a loving touch." He'd reached his intended destination, his cock blazing hard against his pants. Mason pulled at his zipper and laid his cock across the hardened sand. It burned his flesh, but he refused to react. It was hard to believe he was so close to her, the woman of his dreams. "Something inside makes me want you," she moaned. Mason smiled. Things were going according to plan. "That's my girl. Your body was made for me. Because of you I've awakened in a cold sweat in the middle of the night, arms reaching out for you, wanting to hold you and rock my body against you." Just when he thought she'd caved, her resilience shown. "While your words stir something deep inside me, I must appease the gods. You must go back from where you came. I will not let you pass—my duty is to keep you away." His hands smoothed around her back and stroked the prominent eagle wings. Here she was, a woman like no 15

other—female, feline, and feathered wings. Built to worship, honor, obey, and destroy, she could be his very undoing. The gods who could never have her had made every inch of her gallant yet fragile form. He would have her in every way possible. Again he tried to ease her concerns. "Let us not talk of passing to the realms. I am here to show you a world you have been missing. Allow me to show you a moment of freedom. You have no idea..." A wave of heat erupted beneath his thighs as her voice rose in volume and intensity. "Do not think yourself so highly. You're not the first to talk of showing me freedom. Long ago I was straddled by another man, whose stink of greed permeated far worse than yours, though I must say he did not try to seduce me as you. His manner was clumsy and proved fruitless. He now lies among the remains of those who dared try and defy me. To think I could be swayed from my duty—it is a grave mistake. I applaud your perseverance, though it is nothing more than wasted breath." Mason blinked back his surprise. "No words could ever be wasted to such a magnanimous woman as you." "I am merely a sphinx. What is this term 'woman' you use?" Again he stroked her firm, sandy contours. "Arcadia, you are the epitome of all women. The manner in which you hold yourself, the strength you hold, the power, your unsurpassable beauty: there is no other who could measure up to even half the woman you are." "You mock me." 16
Sand Goddess by Ann Cory
"No, I don't. I relay to you what my heart feels. The gods have made you believe you are only a symbol, a keeper of the forbidden lands. They use you." Her resistance waned; he sensed it. "How should a 'woman' be treated?" Mason knew he'd won her over, and it only made his erection throb harder. She'd given him permission to explore her, and he would deliver. "There are pleasures I could show you that are indescribable. You must trust me." "I'm not capable of trusting Man." "That is because the gods created you. They do not want you to taste the bittersweet moments of womanhood. They know men are far stronger than gods, but if word got out they fear what would happen. But no more talk. Allow my fingers to grace your majestic body." "You claim I am not free, that you hold the key to my freedom. I'm confused." Words would never prove to her what his actions could. "I can offer you the freedom you seek. I want you to experience all I have to offer." Before she spoke again, he slid his cock inside the dark hole. Cool, damp sand encircled his erection and molded it tight. Her smooth as satin walls suckled at him as he drove into her repeatedly. Vibrations from her body reminded him of a kitten's purr. "So tight, so wet." Melodic sighs filled his ears. "I've never felt like this before." 17

Mason beamed with pride. He wondered if hardened nipples projected out from her grain-textured breasts. Even in his dreams he'd had no idea how incredible she would feel or the way she would envelope him so deeply. He'd been with plenty of women, but none could compare to what he was experiencing. All the great men who had come before him and failed would be jealous of his victory. "I like this. I like the way you make me feel," she purred, her vibrations nearly sending him into a euphoric daze. He pumped hard, his hands clenching her sides, working to hold himself in place. As much as he wanted to fill her up with his release, he wanted her to achieve an intense orgasm. Steadily, he plummeted himself inside her, wondering just how far inside he could go within the vast tunnel with hidden secrets. He wanted to find them and discover them all. He shoved himself in and then slid himself out, over and over again, until his cock glistened with golden drops of his goddess. She shuddered and he knew she had caved to his thrusting demands. Deeper, he tread inside her forbidden cleft, feeling the first wave of relief gravitate to his lower abdomen. He couldn't hold on much longer. The months of waiting to be inside her had sapped him from any willpower to hold onto his erection. "I'm close," he cried, tears of pleasure welling up in the corners of his eyes. Arcadia let out a series of long deep moans that reverberated deep into his core. He plunged a final time inside her sandy walls with fierce intensity and cried out when 18

his warm thick liquid spewed forth. Spasms rocketed through his body and sent his head spinning. He pulled his head back and bellowed, his voice loud and resonating. As much as he wanted to relax his body, he held on tight against her. Several minutes later, Mason's body stopped its seizures and he slid down her back. He was curious if her orgasm reached the magnitude of his. "Did you feel it?" Her moans continued, her subtle passionate cries filling the air. Mason was full of elation at having succeeded at bringing her to a level beyond her wildest dreams, for being the one man who had catered to her true, feminine needs. After a series of echoes, the desert became eerily silent. A thin line of gold liquid streamed down from her eagle wings and pooled along the sand. "Look what you've done! You've dishonored me!" Her shrill cries made his skin crawl. "No, I only meant to..." The ground below Mason shook and he struggled to latch his arms around her stable paws. "My Love, I only meant to give you something no one else could." The pitch of her voice changed to something between masculine and feminine. "The gods are angered. You must give back what you have taken. They will not be lenient with you. I beg you, for your own safety, give back what you have stolen." 19
Sand Goddess by Ann Cory
Mason shook his head. "That is beyond my control now. I can't give it back, that isn't how it works. You can't tell me you didn't enjoy our union. I heard you. I felt you. Revel in the divine glory of what took place. Don't be ashamed by it. Don't let the gods humiliate you." "You are the liar. It is your greed talking, not your heart. You don't care for me the way you claim to. Humans are incapable of being honest when there is fame and fortune within their midst." His eyes searched hers. They were still closed. If he made a run for it now, she might be too distracted to detect his presence. If she was concerned with the gods being angry, then her thoughts were somewhere else. Part of him wanted to stay and soothe her. He didn't want her to know he'd used her. Somewhere, between his heart and his head, was an obstacle that refused to accept he could be so callous. It was now or never. Mason took a deep breath and willed his muscles to work overtime. With his jaws and fists tightly clenched, he bolted. His legs were weak and wobbly as his feet sank roughly into the sand pockets, but he refused to give up. The length to pass before her felt more like half a day's journey than just a couple hundred feet. To hesitate now would be a mistake. The forbidden lands lay ahead, so close he swore he could reach out and swipe them up in his fist. Gold sparkled in the late afternoon sun, making the whole area look like a giant jewelry box. He imagined rolling among the gold, kissing each piece as if it were a piece of Arcadia. 20
Sand Goddess by Ann Cory
Mason kept running until he was just a few feet away. One more step and he would be in the area where his flesh had been burned before, the place from where he'd turned and run like a coward back to his home. Her relentless rays had borne into him so fiercely, most of the hair from his body had singed. For days he had smelled nothing else. With another step to go, he instinctively looked up. Arcadia's eyes were starting to open and he could already see a faint hint of crimson. "Come on legs, don't fail me now," he whispered. Mason willed his body on, ignoring the thirst, the stabbing pain, the burning ... he ignored it all to make it to the one place no one else could, and still remain alive. Only one step away and he imagined all the glory, fame, and fortune sweeping through his pores. He would win. Smiling, he turned to the scintillating sphinx only to see a ray of light shoot in front of him, with another coming from the slits of her eyes. Her gem-like orbs were almost fully open. The sand turned to mud beneath his feet, and he struggled to retain his balance. Gold shimmered around him, taunting him, calling out his name. He was too close to give it all up. His hands desperately reached forward. All he wanted was to touch it, to claim it, to have it go down in history that he was the conqueror. Mason Gallahad Dominion. "You fool, you've angered the gods!" Arcadia's voice boomed loudly, and for the first time he felt fear.
21

The path cracked in front of him. His body teetered back and forth on the edge. Ahead of him lay the gold, behind him swarmed her wrath. He couldn't give up now. "I love you, Arcadia. Doesn't that mean more than the demands of the gods?" "Love? How can you say such a thing?" The ground shook again. She could take it all away if he didn't make things right. "I do. I do love you." "No. You love material things. Possessions. Treasures. Fame. Fortune. You love the fact you took something from me, and you plan to share that with the world. You love the fact the other men will envy you. But you do not love me. Your emotions are driven by an obsession, a desire to obtain that which you cannot have." "You don't understand. Do you not look at the lands and wish you could possess it all? Day after day you watch over the treasures, but don't you wish you could feel it?" "This land has been tainted by the rotting corpses of men. Their greed has made it impure. Do you wish to join them? What will all of this get you in the end? Will your death be worth it? Is your sacrifice enough?" Before Mason could answer, horrific sounds of shrills and squawks erupted around them. Giant gryphons circled the sky, their sharp talons poised and ready to pierce his skin. "What do they want?" "To kill you, as the gods have requested." "Please, no!" he cried, and covered his head while running back away from the forbidden lands. 22
Sand Goddess by Ann Cory
The gryphons swooped down so close he felt the tips of their wings brush against his face. The sunlight glinted across their claws, highlighting their razor-edged points. "You have destroyed me!" Arcadia roared. Pieces of her body crumbled down around him, the golden liquid trailing along the sand. Her crimson eyes shed tears which streaked her face, staining them wet. Mason batted the gryphons away but there were too many. They swarmed around him in droves. The talons neared his flesh, one catching him and leaving a pinprick of a mark. "Please forgive me." Mason didn't realize Arcadia would cease to exist because of his actions. He'd thought the gold mattered more than anything else, but right then he understood the depth of his feelings for her. The last thing he wanted was to destroy her. His arms ached from fending off the gryphons, and he sank to his knees. Without Arcadia he was dead anyway. When the last pieces of the sphinx fell, he felt his heart break. What the hell had he done? [Back to Table of Contents]

Chapter Three From the rubble, the figure of a woman emerged. Long, crimson hair flared along her naked form like a satin cape. Full, beautiful breasts shook gently with each step, her bronze nipples extended and ripe enough to nibble. Her gaze stole over him, soft yet guarded. She made her way across the sand with ease, almost as if floating. Her smile radiated and shone brighter than the sun. The black curves of her lashes hypnotized him as they slowly swept along the rise of her cheeks. Arcadia, in the flesh. When she spoke, his breath stilled. "I am now mortal because of you. The gods have taken away my powers, along with my responsibilities over the land, and replaced them with a form where I will now hurt, bleed, and die. How dare you take me down with you?" Mason squirmed. What could he possibly say to make anything better? He wanted her to be free, to fly like an angel, and remember him to be the one who made it all possible. Now he would be remembered for causing her pain. How had his obsession gone so horribly wrong? She held up her hand. "Your greed." Her voice was harsh though her eyes reflected empathy. "I can hear your thoughts, and the answer to your question is greed. Man cannot live with greed. Sooner or later it will be your undoing." Arcadia knelt beside him. 24

"What we shared was amazing. I believe your intentions were good, at one time. But it isn't what we have that makes us rich, it is who we are, and the goodness that resides inside. Now, I leave you with this kiss in the hope it will be treasure enough for you as you ride in the tombs of Hell." His skin prickled. "No, wait!" The gryphons circled again, diving closer, their claws outstretched, ready to rip him to shreds. "Yes?" "I would give up anything in the world to make you whole again. Anything, I swear it." Her expression softened. "Go on." "I was a fool to think gold could bring me happiness. The only desire I've had stronger than fortune is you. I don't dream of gold the way I dream of you. The visions of my future are of you, not how much money I have, my status, or the riches—they are of you." She held out her hand to him. "If what you say is true, then take my hand." He started to reach for her, but she closed her hand into a fist. "Hear my words carefully: do not be foolish at this time. I warn you. You can never go back to your greedy ways of life. There will be no riches for you. Any gold that touches your fingers will melt into nothingness. There is no going back." Mason didn't need to consider it. What stood in front of him was real, flesh and blood. The emotions that pulsed through him could never be satisfied with treasures, but they 25

could be sated with her. Love was far more valuable. Gold could never love him in return. Fortune could never make him feel like a man. Love could give him everything he wanted, and more. What he'd thought mattered suddenly seemed petty and worthless. The woman of his dreams stood before him, offering him love. He'd be a fool to turn it down. "If I have you, then I am the richest man in the world." Her smile lit up like a thousand suns. No gold piece could have come close to those rays. She enclosed his hand in hers. A ray of light shot down from the sky and surrounded them. The gryphons flew away and he watched as the crack in the ground closed up. He moved closer to her, concerned she would leave him. "What's happening?" "You have passed their test. The gods gave you another chance." "Why?" "I asked them to. I looked beyond your flaws and materialistic desires and I saw the real man inside you. The man who could love me in all the ways I want and need. Do you think you can be that man for me?" Mason couldn't believe what he was hearing. After everything, she was still willing to give him a chance? He'd been a selfish fool. Now he had a chance to make amends. He'd spend the rest of his life loving her, taking care of her, and being whatever she needed to feel safe and secure. His heart was hers for the taking. "Yes. I can be that man for you." 26

"Good." She hovered over his body and unzipped his pants. Soft, warm fingers caressed his cock, cradling it with dainty fingers. Her tongue lapped at the engorged head, as his shaft swelled rapidly. "I think I'm going to enjoy exploring you." Mason reached forward and ran his hand through her glorious crimson mane. "Explore what you wish. I will always reciprocate, until the end of my days." "I predict you will be around for many moons, if I have any say in the matter." He shuddered as her mouth took him in full and deep. She gazed at him as her lips moved forward and back along his cock. Her warm, moist mouth worked its magic. Gracefully, she withdrew his cock from her mouth and slid her pussy down on him. Again, he shuddered. Arcadia gripped his hands and brought them to her breasts. "Touch me as you did before. Run your hands along my body. Pleasure me as I pleasure you. I want to tremble again." "Anything for you," he whispered, and he meant every word. Tenderly he caressed her curves. Moving his hands along her flawless skin, his fingers drifted between her thighs as she rode his cock with incredible speed. Her pussy clenched him tight. "Yes," she sighed, her head thrust back. 27

Mason had never seen anything so beautiful. Quickly, he gripped her and rolled over, securing her legs around his waist as he thrust into her. Deep streaks of pink flushed her face as her lips trembled. He felt her pussy contract and she sobbed her elation. "Yes, oh gods, yes," she groaned. Right then his own body thrashed and he let his voice bellow across the desert. When he pulled out, his cock was coated in her golden juices. Nestled next to her, he worked to even out his breath. "The gold was never beyond you, only inside you." "Now that you've discovered the true treasure, you will be greatly rewarded." A bright light reflected over them, nearly blinding him. Power surged through his body, filling him with energy and strength far greater than he'd ever known. As the light disappeared, he looked questioningly toward Arcadia. She smiled. "You're a god now, and worthy of my eternal love." It warmed him to know she'd be his. Always. Only his. He'd see to it that she never regretted her decision. Mason pulled her in close.
