Chapter 1 Malina hated her father. He was nosy, bossy, dominating as hell, and if she hadn’t loved him so much, she’d have killed him years ago. She ran her long fingers through her red hair. Malina called it slut red, and it fell in a thick, straight curtain to the small of her back. Prior to leaving the room, she took one last look in the mirror. Her large blue eyes shone like beacons against her alabaster skin. She pursed her lips at the image it reflected, regretting she had no way to remove the shadows beneath her eyes. Her father had called a family meeting. The concept of Lucifer adopting such a contemporary idea amused Malina to no end. Well, whatever he wanted, he could guess again. She had no interest in seducing mortal men, or any men for that matter. Malina wanted nothing to do with soul theft, nightmare making, or chaos creation. She wanted to visit the ocean, read a good book, and eat good food. A frown creased her brow and she grumbled, because more than any of those things, she wanted the right to choose. What she wanted to do was police the preternatural realm. She wanted to use her gifts to keep all the endless monsters in line. Nevertheless, Daddy insisted his baby girl would not do anything of the sort. He wanted her to join the succubi, to obey the rules, but Malina refused. Either she would become a Protectorate, or she would continue to sit around on her perfect ass all day long. The career path Malina wanted would put her into contact with the only male who starred in her impure thoughts. Gabriel, God’s General, the mighty Archangel, was the image of masculine perfection. The first time she’d seen him, she’d thought he was one of her father’s minions. Daddy had corrected her, but not before Gabriel had overheard her question. He’d turned eyes blacker than the bottomless pit on her, and she’d quivered. Her stomach had twisted in knots, and sweat had beaded on her upper

lip. Nothing escaped Gabriel’s notice, and a frightening smile had curved his perfect lips. Her father shooed her away, and she’d gladly escaped. Malina shivered as she remembered the intensity of Gabriel’s presence, wishing for a moment she had stood her ground then. Heaving a heavy sigh, she made her way to the library, certain a battle with her father loomed. The hallway she walked was wide and tall. Its dark red walls rippled with the souls of those who’d bought entrance into Hell. Their screams soothed her, and the weight she carried drifted away. Agonized cries for mercy made a beautiful lullaby, and for a moment she longed for her mother. Malina felt the need for her counsel of late. Isobel, Malina’s mother, had loved Lucifer with all of her pure heart. Ironically, Gabriel had been instrumental in her parents’ meeting. Malina smiled, recalling the story of how Isobel and Lucifer had come together. Her father had told her the tale over and over when she was a child. Their story had helped keep Isobel alive for both Malina and Lucifer. The story started with God deciding Lucifer needed to find love. So She sent Gabriel to an innocent Isobel. He carried a message from The Divine, asking if Isobel might accept a mission from God. Isobel had laughed and told Gabriel she was a devout Catholic. If God needed her help, she’d gladly obey. So Isobel had gone to Hell, body and soul intact, and began her seduction of Lucifer. Lucifer told Malina how hard he had fought, but true love won in the end. Though Isobel had died when Malina was five, her mother’s memory remained vibrant. Lucifer kept mementoes of Isobel in every room of their home. When Malina was ten God allowed Isobel, who had gone to Heaven upon her death, to visit. Though the time had been short, Malina and Lucifer had relished the reunion. Afterward, Malina had better understood how wrong Christians were about her dad. Isobel’s love had given him the ability to forgive which helped him let go of the past. He and God weren’t on great terms, but at least She was open to discussion, now.

In the twenty-two years since her mother’s death, a lot had changed in Hell. Sure, souls still burned, and their torture still gave joy to both Malina and her father. A grin split her features as she recalled a recent bout of torture. Her father loved to give new souls a real raking over the coals, literally. Nevertheless, demons weren’t running around tearing the place up anymore. The Protectorate was a creation of both Heaven and Hell. The two sides worked together to maintain the balance of good and evil on earth. No more guardian angels gone nuts, trying to save every soul. Demons no longer possessed the unsuspecting, making them commit monstrous acts. The undead, shape shifters, and ghosts all fell under the authority of the Protectorate. In front of Malina, the library door loomed. She’d made the journey without noticing her steps, lost as she was in thought. A masculine arm shoved against the wallpaper, reaching for help. Malina curled her lip and put her hand out, palm up, and the arm rolled back on itself, bones crunching as they broke. A scream of unbelievable terror and pain quieted the other souls for a moment. “You deserved it.” Malina shook her head with disdain. The library door was ajar, so she pushed it open and went in. She shut the door, then turned to face her father. Her eyes widened in disbelief, and anger pulsed in her blood. “You!” Malina narrowed her cerulean eyes. Gabriel couldn’t stop the lethal smile curling his lips. “Yes, me.” His eyes skimmed Malina’s voluptuous body. He wanted to start now. “What are you doing here?” Malina tried to convey disinterest, pursing her lips and feigning interest in her nails. “Your father mentioned that you want to join the Protectorate.” Gabriel crossed his arms over his chest. “Yes, I do.” Malina’s eyes met his. Her voice didn’t so much as quiver. If she was nervous, or frightened, she didn’t show it. Her father would be proud. Gabriel was impressed with her composure, but she’d be hard to train. He had no doubt.

“Then let’s see if you have what it takes.” He held out a strong hand to her. She quirked her eyebrow, but placed her soft, warm hand in his cool, rough one. With a thought, he took them away from the depths of Hell. If Malina had known where they were headed, she might have changed her mind.
Chapter 2 Malina and Gabriel arrived in his private chambers. She tried to get a sense of the room, but Gabriel had other ideas. Without a word, he led her to the nearest wall, and bound her in iron chains. Malina swallowed her gasp of surprise. He didn’t give her time to object. His cool, hard body pressed against her as he placed her wrists in the metal restraints, raising her arms above her head. Malina’s nipples hardened as his smooth chest shifted against them. She wiggled a bit, and he pressed into her more firmly, his hot breath tickling her neck and sending shivers of awareness through her body. When she was secured, he stepped away and explained what was about to happen. Gabriel showed no hint of reaction to their nearness, but Malina’s was clear to see. “This exercise is a test of your pain threshold. When the pain becomes intolerable, tell me to stop.” Gabriel wanted to be certain Malina understood his instructions. She nodded and Gabriel seemed to relax. Malina settled herself against the wall, ready to begin. Excitement flowed through her. She was ready to start down the path to her dreams. Gabriel sensed her anticipation, catching snippets of her thoughts. Her demonic side stopped him from getting a clear read, but he knew her ideas were far from the truth. Malina’s excitement stirred his blood, but he held himself in check. He needed to find out whether she would obey him, tell him to stop when it hurt too much, or whether she would attempt to outlast him. Gabriel stepped away from her, moving to a small shelf where he picked up a delicate whip. Malina’s blue eyes widened, but he heard no sound slip from her mouth. He stripped her naked with a thought and approached her, letting the coiled leather fly.

Hours passed, and Gabriel didn’t know what else to do. Malina refused to call a stop to what had become torture. He pushed away from her and stalked to the other side of the chamber, a growl reverberating from his frustrated body. Thick, red liquid ran down Malina’s skin, making it glisten. Her back and legs lay open and bleeding. He’d seen worse. The sight of her didn’t bother Gabriel, but not knowing whether her nature was truly submissive did. He knew she was in a great deal of agony, he sensed her pain. “Have you had enough?” Gabriel held his breath, waiting for her to respond. “No.” Malina’s voice shook, but the tone was level. Either she liked the pain or she wanted to prove she could take whatever he dished out. Lucifer had first approached Gabriel about training his daughter shortly after Gabriel had met her. He’d been wary of her father’s offer. Despite her demonic parentage and inherent short temper, Lucifer assured Gabriel of Malina’s obedient nature, leading Gabriel to believe his daughter would make a fine, submissive partner. After millennia upon millennia of abstinence, Gabriel knew his lover must be more than human. Too many years of war, of blood and battle, of mercilessness, had made him but a step away from a demon. His lust was a savage thing, a black, bleeding beast that cared naught for another’s desires or satisfaction. The problem with the devil’s daughter was that if he didn’t break her, he’d never have her. Thirty-six hours into the exercise had done nothing to bend her will. Oh, he’d exhausted her body, not only from little sleep but also his constant presence. Yet she refused to do as instructed. She wouldn’t tell him to cease. He caught snippets of her thoughts, but the interference of her demonic side clouded what he read. Gabriel couldn’t specify if she was past her tolerance or not, and he also sensed determination to go on, despite the unpleasantness. Gabriel stifled a groan. His body was as hard as stone and it needed surcease. He appreciated strength of will, but it wasn’t the point of the lesson. His patience thinned with each throb of his cock. He needed to bury himself inside her, but he wanted assurance of Malina’s obedience before he took what he so badly wanted.

His black gaze roamed over her bound form. Nude, her large breasts heaved with each breath. Her nipples matched her hair, and the blood-red tips enticed him to taste them. They drew him like ice water beckoned to her father’s guests. He rubbed his face against his palms, and flexed the massive ten foot wings that burst from his back. It was no use. He had to tell her. Gabriel moved toward her, and Malina’s head came up. The deep blue of her eyes flashed at him, her rage shimmering between them. His cock twitched hard, and his eyes glowed with black fire. He noticed that even in her anger, she couldn’t stop the slow pass of her tongue across her lush lips. Her gaze settled on his massive member, and a flush crept across her skin. Gabriel thought away his covering. She hadn’t seen him naked before, but he had waited long enough. He let her look her fill. A growl came from one of them, Gabriel wasn’t sure which one, and their gazes clashed. “What are you doing, Gabriel?” The slightest tremor in her voice belied the challenge of her words. A savage satisfaction shot through him. “What do you think? I never intended to make you a Protectorate. However, I will have you for my lover and I won’t wait any longer for you to submit.” Her mouth gaped, shock etched on her features. “My father…” Malina tried to gather herself. “It was your father’s idea, Malina.” Gabriel’s words stopped her short. “He gave you to me. You are mine, to do with as I see fit.” He lifted one hand to her face. She jerked away but couldn’t escape him with her hands bound above her head. He grabbed her chin and forced her to look at him. “Yes, your father offered you to me. Lucifer told me you were obedient, but I think he saw what he wanted.” “I can’t believe…” Her voice trailed off. She shook her hair out of her eyes and took a breath. “Yes,” Malina sighed. “I can.” For a moment, Gabriel thought she would break. However, the moment passed, and she remained defiant and proud.

“So, now you know why you’re here. I wanted you to obey me. If you had stopped this hours ago when the pain became agony, I would have been assured of your obedience. If you’d submitted before now, we would be past this. However, you have not, and you would not. I won’t wait any longer, and I can’t be gentle, no matter how much both of us would prefer it.” Gabriel ran a heavy hand down his stomach. Her eyes tracked the movement, and her breathing quickened. He gripped his cock in his fist and pumped it once, twice. Thick fluid appeared at its opening and glistened. She wet her lips again, the avid look in her eyes promising. He’d love to cram the long, wide shaft between her soft pink lips. Nevertheless, he refused to risk Malina attempting to escape from him, so he left her bound. Gabriel needed to see her face, to know her reaction to his taste. So he pumped his shaft again, intent on coming. He closed his eyes and envisioned her tight cunt. She was small, and untried. She would be so tight. His cock was large, and it would be a struggle to get inside her luscious body. A moan rolled past his lips as he fantasized what she would feel like. His hand beat a hard rhythm along his shaft as he imagined her screams when he took her. He wanted to suck her nipples, bite them, make her cunt overflow with his come. Gabriel wanted to cover her in it, soak her with it, fill her until neither of them could move. In his mind’s eye he saw her spread before him, fondling her clit. He visualized Malina pulling her soft, pink lips apart to reveal the red, wet entrance hidden between them. Gabriel pictured her sliding two fingers inside, writhing with pleasure, her eyes begging him to take their place. His orgasm raced down his spine, and up from his toes. With a final stroke of his hand, Gabriel’s lust detonated. “Malina!” His hoarse cry rang inside the room. Come exploded from his rigid cock. It splashed across her legs and belly, over his fist and onto the floor.
Chapter 3 Gabriel’s breath soughed in and out, the sound loud in her ears. She couldn’t believe what she’d seen. The mighty Gabriel, the untouched Archangel, had milked himself dry. He stood, replete before her. His eyes opened slowly, as though it took the last of his strength. Malina held her breath, waiting to see what would come next. She watched, entranced, as he raised two fingers to her mouth. She waited for revulsion to rise. She knew what he intended, but excitement flowed through her blood instead. The viscous semen clung to his skin, and she licked her lips in anticipation of her first taste of him. He plunged the fingers past her lips, and she drank the fluid from them greedily. Her nubile tongue swiped up and over the digits, careful to get all the come. Malina swallowed while she stroked the rough skin. Up and down, around and between, she didn’t miss an inch of flesh. When Gabriel tried to remove his fingers, she bit down lightly and sucked. His body responded, blood filling his cock. She surprised him with her enthusiasm. A tug freed his fingers. She closed her eyes to savor the heady essence. When her eyes opened, laughter sparkled within them. A smile lit her face, and when she laughed, it tripped along his skin like a thousand kisses. “What amuses you?” He frowned, unsure if her laughter was good. “You do,” she giggled. “I thought this was some weird kind of sexual torture to prepare me for fighting incubi.” Confused, Gabriel’s frown deepened. “Gabriel, I am my father’s daughter. All the whippings, the spankings, the hair pulling of the last day and a half got you what you wanted. You just didn’t know it. I have been so hot to fuck you; I was ready to beg.” “What?” Disbelief made him step back. How had he missed her arousal?

“Demons don’t break under torture. They thrive on it. If you came to me with soft words and flowers, I’d have been terrified.” Comprehension dawned and Gabriel couldn’t help himself. He threw back his head and laughed as he hadn’t in so long. It rang in Malina’s ears, a choir song of angels and demons, and her body clenched with desire. He’d wasted so much time; if he’d told her from the beginning, he wouldn’t have had to suffer. She smiled with him, laughing silently at the thought that male was male, no matter the species. “I see you have healed.” Gabriel’s eyes took in her blood soaked, yet unmarred flesh. “Yes,” Malina whispered. Gabriel moved to the shelf holding his whips, and she heard the sound of water being squeezed from a sponge. He came back to her and quickly removed the remnants of his exercise from her pale skin. Gabriel watched with interest as her nipples flushed and her stomach clenched at the brisk pass of the sponge. “Come, Gabriel. Take me.” Her words were hushed and he flung the sponge aside. The heat in his black eyes flared. His cock grew as she watched, and he moved flush against her body. He was cool, his body hard and strong. His wings beat slowly as they looked into each other’s eyes. She had thought him soulless, but it was there. Deep inside his gaze, easily missed, a faint flash of light within the blackness. All humor fled, both of them aware that this coupling wouldn’t be soft or gentle. He would take her, as she’d asked, and Malina would be his forever. He sensed a part of her rejoiced, and part of her was sad, but her thoughts scattered as need rose between them. He had to have her, and she wanted nothing more than to feel his body pounding into hers. “Take me,” she whispered. Gabriel fisted a hand in her long tresses. The strands twisted tight and pulled against her scalp. The pain made her moan, and hot licks of pleasure danced along her skin. His head descended, and their lips met. His cool and dry, hers hot and wet. It was no easy meeting. With contact came pressure, and heat. He forced her lips apart, plunging his tongue inside. She tasted sweet and dark, her tongue rough against his. Malina pressed her breasts to his chest, writhing as the

smooth skin abraded them. Gabriel released her hair and wrapped both arms around her, their mouths fused. He tasted like snow, and when he enveloped her, Malina cried out with relief. His cock rubbed along her slippery seam; his chest crushed her breasts. She wished her hands free, so she might grip his hair, claw at his back, but he wouldn’t release her now. She wrapped her legs around his waist. The silken feathers of his wings brushed along her calves as Malina aligned their bodies. Malina hadn’t been with a man, but she knew what her body wanted. She needed that hardest part of him buried inside her. Malina wanted him to stretch her, to feel the pleasure of tearing skin, the burn of abraded flesh. The power of him, the images in her mind, brought whimpers from her throat. Gabriel released Malina’s lips and leaned his upper body away from hers. The red tips of her breasts quivered. Without thought, he bent to taste first one, then the other. They were hard in his mouth, and so small. He nipped at them. She jerked. He sucked on them, and her hips rolled with pleasure. Her legs held him tightly between them as he brought both his hands around to play with her breasts. When he plucked at her nipples, her pussy clenched against his shaft. With a growl he pinched them, hard. She keened and stroked against him with more purpose. So he did what he wanted to do. His cool mouth covered one nipple. The edge of his white teeth lightly grazed it. His hand twisted the other nipple, viciously. “Oh, Gabriel,” she gasped. Hot fluid flowed copiously from her body. Savage delight lit Gabriel’s face as he bit down, hard, on the nipple in his mouth while he pinched the other with bruising force. “Yes, Gabriel, yes!” Her scream of delight made his cock throb. He released her breasts and slid his hand down her sternum, over her rounded stomach, to the top of her mons. His thumb plunged between the lips, finding her clitoris. He stroked it softly at first, then harder. Gabriel watched as Malina bucked and writhed in sensual torment. He tore her legs from his hips and grabbed his cock in hand. The rod throbbed, veins standing out in stark relief beneath his pale flesh. Gabriel put a hand to the small

of her back, caressed her plump ass, and pulled her left leg higher around his hip. Cock in one hand, her legs spread with help from the other, Gabriel pressed the head against her dripping opening. “Stop teasing me. Fuck me, now! Please, Gabriel, please.” Her lungs labored to breathe. She was mindless with need. She couldn’t take anymore. He’d finally broken her. Malina would do anything Gabriel asked, if only he’d impale her with his flesh. Gabriel waited, relishing her surrender, then without warning plunged deep inside her. Malina screamed at the fire, the burning invasion. Pain and pleasure bled into each other; she had to have more. Malina needed him deeper, no matter if he tore her apart. “Oh, thank you, God.” Gabriel gave gratitude where it was due. She felt better than he’d imagined. Hot, wet, rippling muscles gripped his cock. He pressed forward as far as possible, then withdrew and plunged back in, balls slapping against Malina’s ass with the force of the stroke. Nothing had ever felt so good, so hot, so ready in Gabriel’s existence. He gripped her hips and set a savage rhythm. He pounded her, harder and deeper and faster, until their cries of ecstasy rang in tandem. Her cunt dripped fluid, and each downstroke of his cock pushed more juice out. It spread across their bellies and legs, covering both of them in her essence. She screamed, and the muscles of her cunt gripped him fiercely. Gabriel couldn’t withdraw from her. The power of her climax prevented him. After the first long contraction, Malina’s body released a wave of juices. Her body rippled along his shaft; each aftershock caressing him until he couldn’t fight the inevitable. She tore the orgasm from him. His balls drew up and he crammed his cock deep inside her. Pleasure exploding in the small of his back, his balls throbbing, he came. And he came. Each ejaculation caused Malina to ripple, which brought on another explosion. He gave her every bit of come he had, and her pussy swallowed it and begged for more. When he couldn’t hold himself up another moment, he withdrew from her. He staggered, weak from the power of their coupling, but recovered. Malina hung, sated,

from her chains, and though he wasn’t sure how, he managed to free her. He carried her to the bed and sank down next to her. They fell into unfettered sleep, Lucifer’s daughter and God’s General. Heaven and Hell had finally become one.
Chapter 4 Gabriel woke, disoriented. His wings fluttered softly against his back. The warm body beside him beckoned. He tightened his arms, pulling the feminine form closer. Her hair tickled his nose, and he forced his eyes open. With sight came remembrance, and his cock twitched at the memories. Malina, Lucifer’s daughter, lay sleeping, sated within his embrace. She’d been everything he’d wished, a perfect match for his lust. If God had told him that a demon would be the fulfillment of his dreams, he’d have laughed at Her. He’d wasted more than thirty-six hours trying to break Malina, and the realization made him groan. She stirred at the sound, and her shapely bottom brushed his erection. Lust surged through him. He had to have her, now. One perk of Archangel status, Gabriel could conjure what he liked out of thin air. As Malina slept, he chained her to the bed. In a moment she was spread eagled, on her back, with no way to escape. The sight aroused him to a painful degree. Though his body wanted him to take her then, he fought against it. Gabriel took a moment to relish the sight of her, helpless beneath him. Her heavy, ruby tipped breasts rose and fell with each even breath. Her smooth skin glowed against the dark bed sheets, and the vibrant hair covering her mons drew his eyes like a magnet. He’d seen lovelier creatures in his long existence, but none roused him like Malina. From the first time he’d seen her, Gabriel had fought the urge to make her his. Lucifer, ever observant, had noticed Gabriel’s interest. Malina had come to speak with her father, but when she’d seen him, her curiosity was piqued. Her father had turned away from him, to speak with her. Gabriel had overheard her question, and when her father had answered, her enormous, blue eyes met his obsidian ones.

She’d thought him a demon, and in that moment, he had been. A flare of passion had sparked in his eyes, and Malina had run from it, from him. Oh, how he’d wanted to chase her, capture her, claim her! Violent desire throbbed in Gabriel’s veins. He had her now, and he would take her in every savage, even degrading, way he needed. Gabriel’s angelic nature warred with the violent needs of the man time and destruction had made him. His higher calling tried, and failed, to stop him from committing the sins his soul demanded. Gabriel’s thoughts turned from dark to black as the warrior part of him took control, shoving his lightness aside. Malina was his, forever. Even if he had to keep her chained for eternity. That thought alone sent a hard surge of blood to his distended member. She stirred, long legs shifting on the covers, but the bindings limited her movement. He knew the moment she awoke. Her lashes fluttered, and her breathing hitched. Her eyes flew open as she abandoned sleep, confusion and anger swirling in their blue depths. Malina tugged at the restraints, a wasted effort, and pursed her lovely pink lips. “Gabriel, what are you doing?” She eyed his rampant cock. A myriad of conflicting emotions flashed across her face, from fear to interest, but Gabriel wanted the fear. He wanted her to fight. He needed her to fight. “Whatever I want, Malina,” he hissed. Her eyes widened, and she struggled against the ties. “There’s no need,” she gasped. Gabriel pressed a finger to her lips. They parted beneath the pad, and he thrust his digit past her lips and teeth. Her rough tongue abraded the skin, and a shiver of pleasure shook his feathers. She bit down on the invader, not hard enough to draw blood, but hard enough to get his attention. He wanted Malina to fight him, but looking at her, he realized he didn’t want to hurt her. The heavenly part of Gabriel bled a little into the bleakness that so consumed him, soothing his ravaging passion and clearing his mind. No matter the darkness in his soul, Gabriel was still God’s creation. He reined in the beast of lust, and withdrew his finger.

Malina’s rough tongue caressed the retreating member. Desire tightened his muscles, his balls ached for release, and his cock bobbed with each beat of his pulse. With nothing more than the swipe of her tongue, she’d managed to increase his lust tenfold. Gabriel leaned over Malina, his hands on either side of her head. She pushed him to the limit of his control. He rested his forehead against hers, and drew long, ragged breaths. His fists curled, of their own volition, in the strands of fiery hair beneath them. Her breath, cool in contrast to the heat of her body, mingled with his, and it was sweet. “Tell me what to do, Gabriel. I’ll do whatever you want,” Malina whispered. She watched the turmoil tear at him. He’d chained her again. She worried her lower lip and wondered what the bindings might mean. She knew his lust was a raw, wild thing, but constantly being bound wasn’t her idea of a pleasurable pastime. Though she tried to keep the uncertainty from her voice, a tremor betrayed her. Gabriel said nothing as he lifted his forehead from hers. Malina’s gaze danced over his face, trying to understand what he wanted. The black, iris-less orbs shone with unholy light, and she knew. He wanted her to fight, so fight she would. Malina could see that endless years of war against demons, and among the angels, had left its mark on Gabriel. As a result, he needed to direct all undertakings and be in control at all times. These things had served him well as a general, but Gabriel didn’t want a lover who allowed him his every wish. Despite the blood and battle that shadowed his soul and his need to dominate, Gabriel required a partner who responded to him. A woman who took as well as gave. A lover who demanded Gabriel claim her, without making him beg. Malina knew his lover had to be strong of mind and body, and secure in herself. She was all those things, and more. If he needed her to beg, she would. When he needed her to struggle, to allow him the power of possession, she would oblige. Angel or no, Gabriel was a man, a warrior, and she relished the idea of being his.

“Let me go, Gabriel,” she whimpered, purposefully giving him what he wanted. The shudder of her breath caressed his muscled chest. “You don’t have to do this. I,” her voice broke, “I won’t try to escape.” Strands of red hair clung to his hands when Gabriel reared back to watch Malina shiver with fear. He didn’t answer her. Instead he straddled her body, slowly sliding his knees into the curve of her underarms. He brushed his testicles across her nipples, their sharp points teasing the hidden globes. His thick cock danced close to her face, and she turned her head away. “Open your mouth, Malina,” Gabriel commanded. She shook her head, and pulled against the restraints. The chain rattled, and was music to his ears. He held himself above her while she tried to free herself. Each twist of her body caressed him, each labored breath flowed hot over the taut skin of his aching cock. “No, let me go!” The links rang out as they snapped against each other. As she fought, her hips lifted and she tried to throw him off. Gabriel squeezed his thighs together, and sat on her chest. It took a moment for her movement to cease. Though she could breathe, it was difficult with his weight atop her. Her magnificent, cerulean eyes glared at him, and snaps of electricity crackled in the air. “I told you to open your mouth,” Gabriel ordered. Malina narrowed her eyes, and clenched her jaw. Her defiance tipped his control. He threaded his left hand into her thick hair, fisted it tight and pulled. Her mouth opened on a gasp, as he’d expected, and with his right hand he guided his rigid cock inside. Malina tried to bring her teeth together, but the sheer width of him stopped her. He twisted the fist in her hair hard, the pain both an aphrodisiac and a deterrent. She stilled, and tried to breathe around him. Gabriel was careful not to ram himself down her throat, but the dryness of her mouth made entry rough. “Swallow,” he said. He pulled himself out, far enough for her to do as he wished. “I want your mouth wet, Malina.” She swallowed, and saliva returned. When the warm liquid touched his shaft, he pushed back in. Past her teeth and tongue, he thrust himself to the back of her mouth.

“Swallow,” he growled. Malina’s eyes widened. She might have been half demon, but she had a terrible gag reflex. Malina gagged when a toothbrush went in too far. She tried to shake her head, but he held it immobile. “Swallow, or I’ll force it down your throat.” Malina swallowed, convulsively. His large head slid into her throat, and she gagged. “Yes,” Gabriel hissed. He removed his hand from the base of his cock, and slid the full length into her hot mouth. She gagged again, and he moaned again. Ecstasy threw Gabriel’s head back, making the cords of his neck stand out. He was too large. Air had no way to enter her lungs. What started as an act, a pretense of fear to satisfy Gabriel’s need to dominate her, surged into true fear. Malina’s tongue writhed against his shaft, her throat clenched and released. Her body tried to reject him, but Gabriel held himself there until her vision grayed. He pulled out, and air screamed into her lungs. She had felt real fear, but he hadn’t hurt her. A kernel of trust bloomed in her heart, and satisfaction pounded through her blood. Gabriel might have let her pass out, to prove he was in charge, but he hadn’t. He wanted her to learn her place. Gabriel didn’t need to abuse her to achieve his goal. She looked into his black eyes, and relaxed. A small smile curved his masculine lips, and she opened her mouth to him. This time, when his cock slid past her lips, she curved her tongue around it. She teased the head, lavished attention over the venous length, and swallowed when he touched the back of her throat. Malina’s gag reflex hadn’t eased, but Gabriel enjoyed the sensation. Malina lay there beneath him, realizing a power she’d never known. She was the one for Gabriel. Desire quickened in her, and a moan vibrated around him. “Oh, God, Malina. I’m going to come,” he rasped. She felt his balls draw up, resting on her chin. Malina felt a throb from the sack, then Gabriel roared as white-hot fluid shot down her throat. His pelvis thrust against her face, and two more jets of liquid escaped him. When it was over, he removed his cock. He unwound her hair from his hand and motioned away her bindings.

Gabriel rolled to the side, careful not to smother Malina with his weight. One wing was bent at an odd angle, but he didn’t have the energy to move anymore. The sensations he’d had while buried deep in her throat burned in his mind and body. It was the most incredible thing he had experienced. Sated for the moment, he threw his left arm across her abdomen and slept.
Chapter 5 Malina shifted in her sleep, Gabriel’s soft snore the only sound in the room. Her throat was sore and dry. Careful not to disturb him, she conjured a glass of water. A knowing smile lit her face. Archangels weren’t the only ones capable of making something out of thin air. She lifted her head slowly, her senses focused on his deep, even breathing. The water was perfect, not too cold or hot, and it soothed her parched throat. Gabriel murmured, and she sent the water away with a thought. Malina placed her hand on his broad chest, finding the steady beat of his heart comforting. He settled, and his soft snoring resumed. She lingered over his chest, memorizing each ridge and muscle, letting her mind wander. Being Gabriel’s lover was phenomenal, but it wasn’t all she wanted. Now that she was in his bed, would he allow her out of it? Malina yearned to join the Protectorate, to make a difference and be more than just Lucifer’s heir. As Gabriel’s partner, might she hold some sway over him? Could she convince him to take her under his wing, figuratively, and make her into a warrior of the Protectorate? The questions swirled in her mind. Confusion and worry furrowed her brow. While she understood his control issues, Malina feared allowing him to continue to believe he owned her. Gabriel wasn’t her master, and she refused to let him think he was. She had to take control of the situation now. If she didn’t, the minute he woke, he’d have her begging again and her advantage would be lost. With practiced motions, she conjured the spell. As Malina’s hands wove the intricate pattern to bind her lover, she cleared her mind. Her power was exceptional, but she didn’t know if it would be enough to hold an Archangel. Thick iron bands appeared around Gabriel’s feet and wrists. Heavy, iron links came together, forged

from Hellfire and demonic will. Gabriel shivered, as though he sensed the cold metal, though they had yet to solidify. Malina’s hands danced as she finished the spell, and the manacles became real. Gabriel’s eyes flew open. He knew what she had done. He didn’t say anything, he didn’t struggle, but the rage in his eyes caused her to lean away from him. “I won’t be an object.” Malina refused to back down in the face of his fury. What was done couldn’t be undone, and his wrath made no difference. “I want to be a part of the Protectorate.” Gabriel’s black gaze bored into hers, but he remained silent. Malina moved off the bed, striding away from Gabriel and all the temptation he represented. “Listen to me, Gabriel. All my life I have wanted to be a part of something bigger than my heritage. My mother raised me to love both God and my father. She helped me to find a balance within myself; she showed me a path to follow, making it possible to live without the constant inner conflicts which most half demons suffer.” Malina breathed deeply and braved forward with her speech, hoping Gabriel might see her as an asset to the cause and not just another bed partner. “I have extensive knowledge of the hierarchy of the angels. Moreover, I have firsthand experience with every demon in existence. I know I can offer something important to the Protectorate!” Malina whirled to face Gabriel, eyes glittering with purpose. Gabriel showed no sign of interest in her words. He lay on the bed, unnaturally still, while rage and betrayal swirled in his midnight eyes. All of Malina’s righteous intent seeped away, leaving her angry and offended. He hadn’t acknowledged anything she had said. His disdain sliced deep into her pride. Hardening her heart against him, Malina stalked back to the bed. “If you agree to train me, I’ll free you.” As she expected, Gabriel gave no response. Determined to get some reaction out of Gabriel, she moved her hands and whispered a spell she was sure would get his attention. The bands at his wrists began to glow. At first a soft, mellow maroon, the iron heated slowly giving Gabriel plenty of time to tell her to stop. He didn’t. Instead he

locked his gaze to Malina’s, malice and hate vivid in his eyes. When the smell of scorched flesh hung in the air, and the iron shackles glowed, bright orange, Malina broke the spell. The cords of Gabriel’s neck were taut and his eyes were heavy lidded, but he made no sound. Malina realized if she wanted a reply, a reaction, she must use a different tactic. Malina slid onto the bed, next to Gabriel’s hip. His body drew her gaze from his, and she brought up a hand to trace his lines. Gabriel’s chest was cool against her palm. His heartbeat thudded beneath the skin. Flat male nipples, budded tight, beckoned her lips. She leaned forward and took one between her lips. She swirled her tongue over it, bit it slightly. Other than his growing erection, Gabriel made no response. Malina left the nipple, her wet mouth gliding down his chest. She stopped at his navel, and his rigid cock brushed against her arm. Malina licked the indentation, and Gabriel sucked in a breath. Her sharp teeth scraped the skin, pulled tautly over muscle, as she attempted to bite him. Her dark blue eyes looked into the Hellfire fury that burned in his colorless orbs. The muscles of Gabriel’s jaw clenched, whether to stop any sound escaping or in rage, Malina wasn’t sure. Malina ignored his face, instead focusing on the evidence of Gabriel’s lust. She bent her head to take him in her mouth, the plum colored, mushroom-shaped head a breath from her lips, when thunder clapped. Malina reared back in time to see Gabriel break her spell, but not in time to save herself. The blow came backhanded, and struck her along the left side of her face. Fierce, terrible pain exploded inside her head, and her body flew across the room. Malina crashed into the wall, creating an impact crater as evidence of the force of Gabriel’s retaliation. Dazed from the assault, Malina tasted blood in her mouth and agony bloomed beneath her cheek, but she couldn’t move. She was unable to curl away from him as he stalked from the bed toward her, movement beyond her capability. No one had ever struck her, and shock at Gabriel’s attack left Malina defenseless against more.

Gabriel reached a hand out to her head, and though Malina tried to avoid him, her attempt came too late. He caught a handful of hair from the crown of her head, and jerked her to her feet. “I will not be anyone’s prisoner or plaything, Daughter of Lucifer. Never again,” he growled. Then with a flick of his wrist, he flung her across the room again. Her body slammed into stone, and she crumpled to the floor. Her last thought, before unconsciousness claimed her, was that her father had been wrong. Gabriel was a demon.
Chapter 6 Malina whimpered, images of Gabriel floating behind her lids. She awoke, terror choking her. Though she had healed, ghost pain tightened her features. Gabriel had chained her to the bed, on her stomach. A pile of pillows lifted her bottom into the air, and her limbs ached. Gabriel had stretched her tight across the mattress. He hadn’t left her any room to wiggle. She raised her head as much as the position allowed, and strained to see the room. The cumbrous position prevented her from seeing the space entirely. Gabriel watched her look about, searching for him. He retreated farther into the shadows. Icy rage filled him, both at himself and at Malina. While he wasn’t above striking a woman, it enraged him when he did. She was no match for him in strength, and to hit her meant he had lost control. For Gabriel, a loss of control was unacceptable, but he convinced himself she’d left him no recourse. He wasn’t disappointed in her; Gabriel told himself. She meant nothing to him, so disappointment had no part in what happened. He rubbed the flesh of his wrists, unconsciously soothing the place the spellwrought wounds had been. The skin was smooth and unmarred, but the memory of the searing heat turned Gabriel’s mind away from Malina and the present, thrusting him into a nightmare from the past.
*** Gabriel tried to stand up straight, but the damage to his legs and wings made movement but a dream. How long have I hung in these chains? Days, weeks, years? His body shuddered, a convulsion of pain and fear. What more might the demon horde inflict upon his angelic flesh, his pure soul? They had crushed both of his wings, after they’d plucked each silky feather. His legs were broken, white bone shining against a

backdrop of ashen flesh and dried blood. His face was no longer angelic thanks to them. These worshipers of Set who had captured him, who had taken God’s most powerful warrior and brought him to his knees. For a moment he wished they’d finish him, let him seek solace in the eternal arms of God. A moan escaped his swollen, cracked lips. When he healed an injury, the group’s leader came and said another spell over him, slowing his healing speed before allowing the lesser demons to ravage his body yet again. What magic they had was small, but their demon god must have given them the spell they used to incapacitate him. The demon Set, one of the most powerful in Hell, bowed only to Lucifer. These stupid demons thought to sacrifice him to Set, not knowing the only way to truly defeat an Archangel was to turn their faith away from God. So they had beaten him, burned him, and cut him over and over. They said they would stop if I bow to Set. I will bow to no demon! Gabriel’s resolve was strong, stronger than most, but the time in captivity had changed him. His chains rattled as he tried to move, to escape, but his body was weak and shattered. He lacked the strength to free his body and his spirit from the torment he endured. Wanting only to go Home, Gabriel loosed a cry to the heavens. Oh God! Where are you in my hour of need? Why have you not come for me? No sooner had the thought left his mind than Gabriel suffered an agony far beyond his physical injuries. As though torn asunder with a whip of Hellfire, Gabriel’s soul split. For one brief instant, he had questioned his God, his faith. Gabriel, himself, had done what the demons could not. His loud, keening wails echoed through time and space, the broken sound of an angel dying. My God! Forgive me! The pain of the demonic torture was nothing compared with the death of a part of his soul. His tears mingled with the blood crusted on his face, sobs gurgling from his mangled throat. How long had he been in their hands, suffering because they weren’t strong enough to destroy him? Dear God, Gabriel pleaded, end this! I have forsaken you! I beg you! Take me from this existence!

No sooner than he finished his prayer, bright light flooded the room and through heavy lidded eyes, Gabriel saw the ethereal countenance of Michael. The last of Gabriel’s composure fled and he sobbed loudly with joy and shame. Joy that God had finally sent someone to free him and shame because Michael, his brother, must see him weak and broken, must find him in this place of lost faith and failed duty. Michael came to Gabriel’s side, and with hands strong enough to raise the world, he lifted his brother into his arms. With a thought, he released Gabriel from the chains holding his body. Gabriel sensed Michael’s desire to do the same for the crushing weight burdening Gabriel’s soul. His brother’s sorrow was great and tears streamed from Michael’s eyes. Gabriel could hide nothing from Michael. The mighty Archangel knew Gabriel had questioned his faith, and the Almighty Herself. They both knew God’s General would never be the same. God forgives, but Gabriel would not and the stain of his transgression would be indelible for the rest of eternity. Michael’s anguish for the woe and misery plundering his brother made Gabriel’s guilt and remorse grow a hundred fold. He knew when Michael pushed away his disconsolate emotions, sheltering Gabriel from any more pain. Holding Gabriel tight to his body, Michael lifted them out from the dank cellar and into the Light.
*** Gabriel shook off the past, fury welling inside him. How dare she make him remember the only time in his existence when he hadn’t been strong or in control. Damn her back to her father’s throne! She was an object, no matter what she wanted. His object. Gabriel watched with hooded eyes as she relaxed her neck. He refused to abuse her again, but Malina had to learn her destiny lay in his control. He strode toward the bed, intent on his path. She tried to curl away from him when she sensed his approach. He’d bound her too tightly, so she shivered with fear instead. Whatever else occurred, Malina doubted she’d trust Gabriel again. What had begun as an interesting rendezvous had twisted into a nightmare from which she saw no escape. He made his way to her side, and she tensed. Malina heard the rustle of wings, felt the whisper of a caress against her back. The loud popping sound startled

her. She swung her head around, and found herself alone. Part of her was relieved, but the rest of Malina started to stew. How dare he leave her like this?
Chapter 7 “Gabriel.” God’s voice was soft. Even Archangels found it difficult to hear Her speak. “Yes.” He swallowed the growl as it tried to escape. She wouldn’t appreciate any nastiness from him. “You might try a different approach when dealing with Malina.” The fact that God offered him advice didn’t sit well with Gabriel. “Oh, what do you suggest?” He tried not to sneer. “Challenge her. If you use her pride against her, it will get you what you want. Also, her honor will bind her to obey the terms you set.” The tone of the Almighty shivered in the air. “You mean, like a man? In combat? I thought men hitting women displeased you?” Gabriel kept his tone even, though anticipation quivered in his belly. The idea of battling Malina thrilled him. She needed to learn her place, and though he might have preferred sexual dominance, he acknowledged the wisdom of God’s words. Malina might enjoy a sexual encounter too much to understand the point of it. Hell, Gabriel himself might have the same problem. He agreed with God about Malina’s pride. If she gave her word Gabriel knew she would abide by it. Isobel had been an honorable and pure woman, no matter that she had taken the Prince of Lies into her heart. Gabriel knew Malina had inherited more than a conscience from her mother. She had inherited a sense of honor. If she broke a promise, it would offend the sense of justice she held dear. He gleaned as much from her mind, though he couldn’t read it as clearly as most. Though she had a conscience, Malina would lie, cheat, and steal if the situation demanded it. However, she wouldn’t go against her word, because Isobel would never have allowed it.

“Violence against women does displease me. However, I am not blind to the advantages conquest can offer in certain circumstances. I want you to be happy, Gabriel. Moreover, I want Malina to be happy. I know if she can be what you need, you will move Heaven and Earth to ensure Malina’s felicity.” God rested a gentle hand upon Gabriel’s forearm. The warmth from Her touch eased his tension, and he smiled. “I will heed your advice, Almighty One. Thank you for your wisdom.” With a deep bow, Gabriel swirled away in a rustle of feathers and was gone.
*** Malina’s flesh pebbled with goose bumps as a spell washed over her. She tensed as her bonds fell away. Freed, she rolled from the bed and landed in a crouch on the floor. She kept her back to the mattress, her wary eyes scanning the room. The air whooshed from the room, and a loud pop heralded Gabriel’s arrival. She spun, peering over the bed at him. Gabriel looked at her for a moment, then moved away. Malina was careful to keep distance between them as she made her way around the bed, but she was no fool. Malina knew Gabriel’s power. She watched him glide away from the bed, his massive wings slicing through the air in slow thumps. Malina faced him, arms spread out at her sides. When Gabriel turned around, he had no doubt whose daughter she was. She glowed with Hellfire and fury. Her blood red mane danced about her head in a halo of bloody whips. The blue of her eyes shone across her skin, and lightning flashed within them. Wind whipped through the room, hot as Hell, called by demonic rage. She dropped the cowering facade like some shabby cloak. Malina stood before him the proud daughter of Lucifer, and Gabriel knew a moment of hesitation. “How dare you strike me!” Malina’s voice was an evil conglomeration of bass, baritone, and soprano tones. She’d unleashed her inner demon, and Malina was full of her malevolent powers. “Malina,” Gabriel growled in warning. “No, you do not dictate to me, Archangel.” A lash of power cut across Gabriel’s exposed chest. He hissed at the strike, but he made no move against her.

“You want to join the Protectorate? Take me in a fight, and you will.” “What trick are you trying to play?” Malina arched a delicate brow at him. “None. If you can take me in a fair fight, then I will admit you into the training program,” Gabriel said. “If I lose?” “Then you will obey me, in all things.” Her laugh ricocheted off the stone walls of Gabriel’s room. The laugh might have been steeped in evil, but it aroused Gabriel anyway. “Do you think me stupid? I am no match for your power in this form.” Malina shook her head in disgust. “I will concede you may use your magic. I will not use mine offensively. Is that more to your liking? Is that fair, Daughter of the Devil?” He was deliberate in his verbal insults. He wanted her more enraged than she was, standing before him. “It’s fair enough,” she spat the words at him. “You agree to my terms? Can I trust the word of a demon?” “My word is good, Archangel. I will abide by the outcome, whatever it may be.” Malina stalked toward him until they stood a few feet apart. “Done.” A clang like the tolling of great bells shook the floor and walls. The bargain was struck, and God help them both.
Chapter 8 Gabriel didn’t wait for Malina to make the first move. He curled his right hand into a fist, and plunged it into her stomach. The Hellfire within her burned his skin, but only for a moment. Malina flew backward against the bed hard enough to knock the mattress from its pedestal. She didn’t linger, instead immediately catapulting back to her feet. She flung her head back, and before his eyes two huge, black, leathery wings exploded from her back. A long, whip-like tail snapped from behind her. Malina leveled her gaze at him and stalked closer. Demonic magic flowed through her. A hiss erupted from her mouth, which had filled with razor-sharp teeth. Gabriel turned, attempting to circle her. She was before him in a moment, her tail curled about his neck. The appendage was strong, cutting off his airway. Malina’s demonic form and dark power gave her the strength to meet him in combat. Gabriel struggled to pull free of her tail, but it was thick and covered in tiny, shifting scales. His hands slipped off time and again. Malina shook him, like a rag doll, and launched him across the room. Gabriel didn’t slow his momentum, slamming hard enough against the wall to leave an imprint of his body. Even more determined to beat her, Gabriel wiped blood from his bottom lip and jumped back to her side. She beat at him with her tail and her wings. The tail sliced into his flesh, and her wings whipped against his head and shoulders. Blood ran down his body, each burning laceration deep enough to show the muscle beneath his skin. He tried to avoid her blows, to let her wear herself out. Malina grabbed him by the hair of his head and lifted him off the floor, her mouth gaping. She went for his throat. Gabriel barely managed to pull away in time to save his throat, and instead her teeth tore into his shoulder. She ripped the flesh away, a demonic howl bellowed from deep within her. And Gabriel snapped.

He was bloody and bruised, but that didn’t register in his mind. He laced his hand into her flaming hair and pulled her off him. His other fist clenched, he held her still for blow after blow to her beautiful face. Gabriel stopped, for a moment, at the telltale snap of her nose. She took his pause as an opening, and her foot connected with his stomach. Malina’s clawed hands raked down his arms and face. He hit her again, snapping her head back, then threw her aside. Malina rolled across the floor, too dazed to get up. She threw fireballs at him, but Gabriel avoided them. She conjured chains to hold him, and he broke free. Malina struggled to her knees, shooting spell after spell, but Gabriel continued to come. Nothing she threw at him slowed him for long. Gabriel was full of angelic glory, glowing with power and determination. She had hoped to win before Gabriel had time to set himself on a course. She knew she’d lost then as Gabriel crossed the room. She heaved her battered body to its feet, intent on facing him supported on two legs and not huddled on the floor. When he reached her, four hard blows to her stomach and ribs sent her back to the ground. The last thing she saw was his sandaled foot moving toward her face. Her teeth snapped together so hard she felt two of them break. It was over, Gabriel had won.
Chapter 9 The soft pass of a cool cloth across her brow woke Malina. Confusion clouded her mind. She moaned, not ready to open her eyes or clear her thoughts. Unbidden, images danced in her head, and another groan escaped her dry lips. A cool hand sifted through her hair, lifting her head. Gabriel brought a cup of water to her mouth. She swallowed greedily, precious liquid spilling over onto her chin, unnoticed. When she was moist again, she pulled away from the cup, and Gabriel laid her head gently against the pillows. He pulled his hand free, and left her side. Malina noted Gabriel’s injuries had healed, and though she was tired her physical form was also good as new. Her spirit might carry bruises for some time. Malina turned her head on the pillow to watch Gabriel. His enormous, ethereal wings were folded close to his body. He looked rigid, unrelenting and tense. She swallowed and battled with her pride. She had accepted his challenge, and lost. Anger tripped along her nerves, but before she got a good head of steam built, Malina’s inner voice piped up. That is what got you into this situation in the first place. Gabriel pricked your pride, more because you loved his forcible manner than from any real injustice. Malina frowned at her thoughts. For a moment she wished to be wholly demon, then she wouldn’t have a conscience. You know how to deal with males like Gabriel, like your father. Your power comes from within. It comes from following the path he shows you, while subtly nudging, until he leads you where you want to go. A woman’s power is mutable, not explosive. The last bit of advice rang with her mother’s voice. Her mother had told her this many times and Malina was ashamed she’d forgotten. Malina closed her eyes against Gabriel and ruminated on her thoughts. With anger and pride banked, she was disgusted by her behavior. A lack of confidence in

herself, and so little knowledge about Gabriel, led her to react to the situation with emotion instead of logic. Malina understood what Gabriel needed in bed. However, what Gabriel the man needed wasn’t so clear. She had been foolish. If she had followed Gabriel’s lead, instead of fearing he saw her as an object, she knew she would have gotten what she wanted. Instead she had jumped the gun, attempting to show him she wasn’t a vessel he could use at his leisure and discard. Her heart thumped in her chest as an uneasy shiver pebbled her skin. What had she done? Gabriel knew she was awake, but for the first time in his eternal life he was uncertain. He was discomfited by their battle. He tried to tell himself it was for her own good. Gabriel attempted to convince himself Malina was his possession, but the truth was plain. She belonged to him by right, but he belonged to her in soul. Malina was a strong woman, an incredible lover, the perfect mate. He realized he didn’t want her obedience because of a bargain. He needed her to offer it freely. Yet he had no idea how to get it from her, without appearing weak or apologetic. He heard her sigh, and it stirred his pulse with worry. Would she be cold and distant, all of her fire buried deep? Would she follow his orders in a detached manner, her passion stifled? The growl trembled on his lips. His incertitude was unacceptable. Gabriel was finished wondering. It was time to find out where Malina stood. “Gabriel.” Malina’s husky voice echoed in the room. He turned to her, his face a mask of disinterest. Emotions roiled within him, but Gabriel appeared cool and uninterested. He looked at her, seeing the embodiment of all his dark needs and motivations. Angelic he might have been, but only by creation. Gabriel fisted his hands at his sides, fighting the need to conquer Malina, to force her to accept his dominion. Malina swallowed hard at the intense look in Gabriel’s eyes. She shoved away pride and embarrassment as his gaze bored into hers. A need unlike anything she’d felt before swept through her. Malina wanted to abase herself at his feet, to bow down to him, if only to see him smile. In that moment, Gabriel’s happiness superseded any of her needs, becoming the most important thing in her mind.

She slowly slid from the bed, holding herself on her hands and knees above the floor. With sensuous, slinking movements, Malina made her way to Gabriel. She held his gaze, ignoring the pain in her neck and shoulders, willing him to understand that she came to him this way by choice. When his feet were within inches of her hands, she broke eye contact and laid her head on her hands. Bowing her spine, she made both an apologetic and sexy image. Gabriel’s hard cock twitched in reaction to her display. It rose hard from his body, rampant and ready. “Malina, what do you want?” Gabriel asked softly, hoping her answer would be what he wanted. “To serve you.” Malina’s answer was firm and welcoming. Gabriel started to reach for her, but held himself back. She sounded sincere, but he needed to be certain her posturing wasn’t an act. “How do you wish to serve me?” “However you wish, Master.” The last word came on a husky whisper, and Gabriel grunted with pleasure as he watched her shimmy in desire. Malina calling Gabriel Master excited them both, and it pleased him to see her body quiver. No more questions, no more conversation. Gabriel accepted the change in her. Malina wasn’t a stupid woman, and though he was certain she would remain a handful at times, he relished the thought of future battles. “Malina, raise your bottom higher into the air.” She complied at once, and a soft moan escaped her. Gabriel moved around behind her, and noted with satisfaction the shine of liquid evident at the opening of her woman’s flesh. He placed a finger alongside the plump, pink lips, and slid it along the slick seam. Malina shivered and tried to push against him, but he stopped her with a firm smack upon her bountiful ass. The flesh jiggled, and Malina squeaked, but her pussy contracted sharply. He struck her again, warming the skin, and fluid escaped her body. Pleased with her presentation, Gabriel grasped his cock, the tip pearling with his excitement, and rammed it home.

Malina screamed, her legs splaying farther apart, her back bowing. The sensation of his mammoth cock plowing into her body took her breath. It burned as though he’d torn her, but the pain enhanced her acceptance of this taking. Gabriel’s large hands held her hips still as he withdrew from her with excruciating slowness. Again he pounded deep into her body, and again Malina screamed. Her body adjusted to his invasion, natural lubrication seeping from her hot sheath and coating his soft testicles. Gabriel wanted to roar his pleasure. Her pussy was so hot, so greedy, holding him in a firm grip and coating him with her excitement. He watched as he pulled his cock from her, the angry red of his shaft glistened with her moisture. The opening of her body slid along his length, loath to release him. Gabriel took one hand from her hips and touched the mouth of hot skin that circled his cock. Malina’s cunt contracted around him as he teased her exposed flesh. He held himself immobile as he fondled her. When he was certain she had released enough fluid, Gabriel eased a finger inside her, along with his cock. Oh God, the pleasure was intense! Malina tried to writhe, but Gabriel controlled her movement. She was full to bursting from his cock; how he managed to get his finger inside she didn’t know. He moved his digit to the bottom of her pussy, pressing until he found the spot inside her that brought her savage delight. Gabriel pressed against the spot, and withdrew his cock before plunging back inside with ruthless force. After a few pounding drills, Gabriel inserted another finger. Her flesh stretched as far as it could, and the sight of his fingers and his cock invading her tight hole made him growl. Careful to keep pressure on the sensitive place inside her sopping pussy, Gabriel let loose his control and fucked her without mercy. He rammed his cock into her as hard as possible, the sounds of his penetration mixing with their moans and harsh breathing. Harder and harder he slammed home, until her screams echoed around them with every breath she drew. Malina knew the culmination was upon her, but she couldn’t form words to address the rapture of Gabriel’s possession. When she broke, her body curled in on itself. Her pussy clenched the mighty organ within it, milking Gabriel for all he was

worth. Each slick contraction around his shaft tore a yell from Gabriel and drew his balls tight. He pulled his fingers free, dug his fingers into Malina’s ass and drilled into her rippling cunt until the come exploded from his body. He buried himself as deep inside her as possible. Jet after jet of scorching hot come burst into Malina. His balls contracted tightly. Every bit of his seed emptied into her hot, greedy cunt. Never had Gabriel experienced an orgasm like this. As he eased from her body, gratification filled him at the sight of his seed and her juices trickling from her well-used body. The need to taste their mixed essences rushed through Gabriel. He leaned forward, and tasted of them. It was a heady flavor, salty and hot, male potency and female acceptance in a tangible form. Malina moaned, unable to articulate all the sensations coursing through her body and soul. He understood she couldn’t take anymore, although the dark part of him nudged him to force her. However, Gabriel was beyond spent, and he decided to leave her for now. Gently, as though Malina were made of glass, he scooped her off the floor and carried her back to the bed. The moment he lay next to her, Malina snuggled herself against Gabriel. Contentment flooded her body, satisfaction so perfect nothing compared. Gabriel stroked her soft hair, and pressed a kiss against her temple. He wanted to reward Malina for her understanding and acceptance with more than intimate acts. A smile, wide and real, curved his mouth as he felt joy again. Such a gift was a precious and blessed thing. Gabriel hugged her closer to him and let a small laugh escape him. Malina gasped and looked into his face. “You… are smiling! And you laughed!” Tears of joy sparkled in her eyes as she pressed jubilant kisses on Gabriel’s face and chest. Her tears confused Gabriel, and he took one from her cheek and watched it shine against his finger. “Why do you cry?” Malina ducked her head, and Gabriel understood she wasn’t ready to explain. She shook her head and giggled against his chest, amused at the silly question. “Never mind, Malina. I have something I want to ask you.”

“Yes, Master?” she whispered. “You will use Master only when I demand it. My name is pleasing as it falls from your lips.” He chuckled softly. “Tomorrow, I must see to the initiation of a new class of Protectorates. Would you like to join me at the ceremonies?” “What would I do?” Malina tried to keep her jubilance hidden by playing with Gabriel’s nipples. “Well, I am certain we can find you something to do besides looking pretty. Would you like to sit in on some fighting classes? I’m sure Michael would love any help you might offer.” Gabriel didn’t want Malina in the Protectorate, but he did want her to be happy. If this small thing gave her joy, it was the least he could do. “Oh, Gabriel, that would be wonderful! I’d love to help!” Malina kissed his chest, and wrapped a slender arm around him. “You would have to be ready to leave when I come for you. We can’t be late for the initiation,” Gabriel warned. “Of course,” Malina assured him. See, her conscience goaded, everything will work out. Malina sneered in her mind but couldn’t wipe the satisfied smirk from her face. As they snuggled closer together, Gabriel enjoyed the warmth and peace filling him while Malina considered what the future held. Their relationship was new, so both of them carefully avoided thinking too hard about emotions. Though neither spoke it, both thought this was the start of something wonderful.
*** “You owe me two souls,” Lucifer said. God shook her head and sighed. “Now, Lucifer, just because you were my favorite doesn’t mean you get to gloat over winning.” God smiled softly at her first fallen angel. “Hah! Notice the past tense! Anyway, we had a wager. And don’t think I don’t know about your little advice session. You said we couldn’t interfere.” Lucifer swirled the dark liquid in his tumbler and settled himself deeper into the soft leather of his chair.

God moved elegantly about the library, pausing here and there to touch the spine of a book. “Well, I had to do something. Gabriel needs Malina, and she needs him. God has the right to change the rules.” She turned to look at the handsome Devil, and for a moment longed for him to be hers once more. She had done her best to find him happiness, and though his wife died, God knew Lucifer had found love and peace in her arms. “Whatever. You still owe me two souls. You didn’t believe Malina had it in her to be what Gabriel needed. I think she proved she does,” Lucifer crowed. His dark chuckle filled the space, his triumph apparent. “Oh, all right. How about a couple of dictators?” Lucifer laughed and God joined him.
