Chapter One Briana locked up the shop at a quarter until twelve Saturday night. She hurried to her car, always aware of the potential for something happening in this part of town. Just as she clicked the unlock button on her key fob, someone grabbed her from behind and slammed her against the car door. “Look what we have here. It’s the bitch from the adult fun store. Having fun? No? Well, I’ll give you a good time.” “Let go of me, creep.” Briana struggled against him, pushing against his chest with her hands to no avail. When he only laughed at her feeble efforts, she changed tactics and used her fists while she screamed. She knew it was probably a useless effort since no one in that neighborhood would stop to help, especially at this time of night. Her attacker cursed when her fist landed on his cheek. He backhanded her and grabbed her wrists with his hands. Then he transferred them to one hand and reached behind him. “You’re going to be sorry for that, bitch. I’m going to show you how a man takes care of a woman.” He pulled out a knife and held it to her throat. “You do what I say or I’ll start carving you up like a Thanksgiving turkey.” He grinned at her.

Briana gasped, straining away from the knife at her throat. She turned her face away from his grimy mouth and putrid breath. It made her gag. She swallowed, trying to breathe through her nose. “Look, I don’t have anything. All the money goes in the safe at night.” “Money? You think I care about money?” He laughed and pressed his other hand hard against her breast. “I’m thinking about something different from money. Can you guess what I want?” “Fuck you!” She screamed again and slapped the man in the face. He pressed down on the knife, and she felt a trickle of blood run down her neck. He squeezed her breast hard enough that she couldn’t stop the tears from the pain. Her vision blurred with them. Then he was pulled away, and someone pulled her into their arms and turned her away from the fight. She heard the sounds of fists hitting flesh. Something metal hit the ground, followed by the sound of pained grunts. “Are you okay?” the man asked. “I–I think so.” She gulped and began to shake. “Dillon, check her. The bastard had a knife,” a second man said behind her. “Come on over to the light, miss, and let me see.” He gently pulled her toward the light. The second man joined them under the streetlight. Both men were dressed in leathers and were tall and big. She continued to shiver and wondered if she was in worse shape with them than with her attacker. “Aw, hell. Your neck is bleeding.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a handkerchief. He held it to her neck and lightly pressed against it. “She’s got a bruise on her cheek as well,” the second guy said. “Are you hurt anywhere else?” “N–not really. Thank you for helping me. I need to go home, now,” she said with a tremor in her voice. “I think you need to go to the hospital,” the first man said.

“No, um, I’ll be fine. I just need to go home. Please, can I go home now?” “Shh, easy, ma’am. Let’s get you in your car, and once you’ve settled down, you can go. I’m not letting you drive as upset as you are right now.” This came from the second man. The two of them escorted her back to her car. The first man bent down and picked up her purse and keys. He opened the door for her and handed her things back. She settled in the seat and fumbled with the keys, trying to get them in the ignition. Once she finally had them seated, she started the car. “Thank you both so much for helping me. I’m fine now. I really need to go home now,” she said again. “Take a deep breath,” the first guy said, squatting down next to her. She followed his directions and immediately felt better. He smiled at her and stood up. “We’re going to follow you home and be sure you make it safely inside,” the second man said. “Really, that’s not necessary,” she argued, still shaking some. “I think it is. Wait on us before you leave. We’re parked just across the street.” He stared deep into her eyes and smiled. “Okay.” She felt like she needed to after what happened, and they had been nothing but kind to her. The first man closed the door before they walked across the street. She turned to see what they were driving. Two motorcycles stood against the curb where they were headed. She sighed. She had attracted two guys who rode bikes. Great. Once they had started their bikes, Briana pulled away from the curb and drove toward home. She lived several blocks away in an area that wasn’t quite as bad as where she worked. Plus, it was close to the college where she was taking classes. She was studying to be a web designer and only had two more months of classes. Surely she could handle two more months.

Unfortunately it meant she had to attend all day classes since they didn’t offer many of hers at night. And that meant she had to have a night job. The adult store was the only thing she could find that allowed her Sundays off to study and do her projects. When she pulled into the drive on her side of the duplex she rented, and the two bikers pulled in behind her. They immediately dismounted and walked up to the car without bothering to take off their helmets. One of them opened her door for her, and the other walked up on the porch to wait for them. “Let’s get you inside,” the second man said. Briana inserted her key into the lock and opened the door. She turned to thank them and found they were both standing close enough she could smell them. They both smelled of soap and male sweat. The sexy combination went straight to her head. “You’re okay, right?” the first one asked her. “Yes, thanks.” “My name is Dillon, and this is Gavin. Glad we were there to help you.” “You really don’t need to be leaving that late alone,” Gavin said. “It’s my job. I don’t have a choice.” “Don’t you have a boyfriend to watch for you?” Dillon asked. “Um, no.” She was sensitive on that subject. “Well, you need someone to watch out for you when you leave. It’s not safe,” Gavin said again. “Look, thank you so much for helping me, but I need to get to bed.” “What’s your name?” Dillon asked. “Briana.” She popped her hand over her mouth. She hadn’t meant to tell them her name. Dillon had caught her off guard. “Good night, Briana. See about that cut on your neck.” Gavin brushed her hair from her face with one finger.

They turned and walked back to their bikes, but waited. It wasn’t until she closed and locked the door that she heard their bikes fire up and roar away. Briana sank back against the door and ended up on the floor when her legs gave out. She started crying now. The reaction had set in. She had nearly been raped and probably would have ended up dead if those two bikers hadn’t intervened for her. The reality of it left her shaking like a leaf as she sobbed, hugging herself. After a few minutes, she calmed down enough that she could get up and go to the bathroom to see how bad her neck was. When she looked into the mirror, she nearly started crying again. There was a two-inch cut on her neck that had crusted over with blood. It hadn’t been deep, or she knew it wouldn’t have stopped bleeding so easily. Briana winced when she pulled her T-shirt off. Even through the thin bra, she could see the bruises on her breast. It already hurt. By tomorrow it would be much worse, she was sure. She drew in a deep breath and finished undressing. Then she turned on the shower and stepped into the pelting spray to wash off the grimy, oily feeling of the guy who had attacked her. She winced at the slight sting on her neck, but she cleaned it with soap and water to be safe. By the time she was finished scrubbing the memory of the bastard’s touch from her skin, the water had turned cold. Briana shut off the shower as she climbed out to dry herself. She applied a generous amount of antibiotic salve to the cut. When she looked in the mirror, she almost didn’t recognize the face that stared back at her. There was a blooming bruise on her cheek, the shiny cut at her neck, and the ugly bruises in the shape of a hand on her breast. She pulled on her sleeping shirt and panties before climbing into bed. She left the light on in the bathroom, but closed the door most of the way. When she climbed into bed, she hoped she didn’t dream about the attack. As it was, sleep was a long time coming. Instead she thought about the two men who’d helped her, Dillon and Gavin.

Dillon’s black hair appeared shaggy under the streetlight. He had gray eyes that had seemed kind to her in that moment. He stood about six foot three inches and had broad shoulders and a tight-looking abdomen, what some of the other women called a six-pack. The other man, Gavin, looked so much like him that he could have been his twin, except that he was a few inches taller and his black hair reached his shoulders. He was larger than Dillon all over. His arms were as round as small tree limbs. She had no doubt they could have crushed her, but they had been gentle. Both men had treated her very carefully, as if they were afraid she would break. She sighed. It was too bad she wouldn’t see them again. She might have liked to have gotten to know them. With that, Briana fell into a restless sleep. **** She shouldn’t be working at a place like that and especially not at night and alone,” Gavin said. “I’m with you on that. I wonder what her story is. She held up surprisingly well to being attacked.” Dillon pulled off his shirt and then his boots. “I figure she broke down after we left. She was scared enough of us to keep it together.” Gavin already had his clothes off and was heading for the shower. “She’s hot, though. I would love to get to know her,” Dillon said. “Yeah, but we’re only here for another three or so months,” Gavin called out over the sound of the water from the shower. “Still.” Dillon walked to the door of the bathroom. “She’s really pretty, with all that strawberry-blonde hair and those bright blue eyes. She had the cutest freckles across her nose.” Gavin didn’t answer him. Dillon turned on the TV and sat back on the bed. They had to be up in the morning at five to get to the job site

by seven. It was only a few blocks away from the hotel where they were staying, but they had to get breakfast first. Dillon and Gavin were part of a construction crew that traveled around for a contracting company working on buildings. They all lived close together in Dallas and had been in the army together as well. Cole was their leader. He and Zack had just gotten married, and their wife was with them on this trip working at the local hospital as a nurse in the emergency room. West and Kyle had married Brandy, a waitress they’d met at one of the construction gigs, and were off on their honeymoon. They would be back with the gang on their next job. Cole and Zack wanted to take only local jobs now, ones that weren’t across the country. He and Gavin agreed for the most part. They were tired of the long-ass trips to the middle of nowhere. That was why they were only a few hundred miles away from Dallas on this gig. Round Rock, Texas, wasn’t a big city, but it was large enough to have its seedy district which was where they’d found the woman they had helped. Dillon thought about her again. She was probably only five feet four or five inches with shoes on. She seemed tiny to him, but she had nice-sized breasts and a rounded body that was made for loving. Since Gavin was an ass man, he would probably say she had an ass worth fucking. He would have loved to taste her kiss, but after what she had been through, a kiss from a stranger was the last thing she needed. Gavin wandered out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist with an obvious hard-on. “Your turn, but I’d wait a few minutes for the water to heat back up. It was just about cold when I got out,” he said. “I’m not the only one that thought she was hot. You’re sporting a woody yourself.” “Not much I can do about it with her, though, and I’m tired of handling it myself.” He climbed into bed and flipped the channel on the TV.

“I’m with you, man.” Dillon pulled off his jeans and headed to the bathroom. “What do you say we check on her tomorrow night and make sure she gets home safely?” “Already thought about it,” Gavin said. Dillon nodded and walked into the bathroom. He and his brother were usually on the same page at the same time. Being twins had to be the reason behind their innate ability to read each other. He turned on the shower and winced when he found it to be lukewarm at best. It would be a quick one. That was for sure. As soon as he was out and dried off, Dillon climbed into bed and turned out the light over the nightstand. Gavin had already turned off the TV and was snoring. Dillon fell asleep thinking about Briana, so it was no wonder that he dreamed about her.

Chapter Two Briana had come back with them to their hotel room. Gavin was holding her in his arms, kissing her. Dillon walked up and brushed aside her shoulder-length hair and nibbled at her neck. He laid kisses up and down it. He sucked her earlobe into his mouth, teasing it with his tongue before treating the other side to the same assault. Gavin turned her around, and Dillon claimed her sweet mouth now. He ran his tongue alongside hers before sucking it in and teasing it with his. She moaned into his mouth as his hand closed over her breast to mold it and scratch at her nipple through her blouse. When she pushed her chest farther into his hand, Dillon used his other hand to unbutton her blouse. Gavin reached around and pulled it off her shoulders, then unfastened her bra and discarded it as well. Now Dillon had full access to her breasts. He bent over and took one into his mouth and sucked. Next to him, his brother had the other one. He felt her hand on his head, digging into his hair. He was sure she was doing the same to Gavin. Dillon went to his knees before her and began to unfasten her jeans. She looked down at him with heavy eyes. She wanted him as much as he wanted her. As soon as he had her jeans down enough that she could step out of them, he pulled off her shoes. Gavin held her steady as she picked up her feet to free them of her pants. Both men licked and kissed her abdomen and pelvis before Gavin stood and picked her up to take her to the bed. He gently laid her down, then climbed on beside her. Dillon followed them and climbed

up on the other side. They petted and smoothed along her arms and abdomen before once again attacking her breasts. Dillon slowly worked his way down her torso, leaving kisses in his wake. He made it to her panties and licked a line around from one side to the other. Then he hooked his thumbs in them and drew them down her legs, tossing them to the side. He buried his nose in her pussy. She was hot and wet. Her juices coated the inside of her thighs. He quickly licked them clean, working his way to her hot cunt. Gavin was busy licking from one nipple to the next by holding her breasts close together. She had her hands in his long hair holding him to her breasts. Dillon chuckled against her pussy. Gavin had his hands busy up there. He was going to have fun down here. Dillon sucked on her pussy lips then stabbed her with his stiffened tongue until she was bucking her hips in time with his tongue fucking. He rubbed a finger around her slit a few times before thrusting it inside of her. She moaned. He added a second finger and began to finger-fuck her hot cunt while he licked all around her clit. She thrashed her head from side to side, whimpering. Dillon looked up at Gavin, who nodded his agreement. Dillon found her hot spot deep inside her pussy and stroked it while sucking on her clit. Gavin pinched her nipples at the same time. She screamed and bucked hard as she climaxed. It was the sweetest release he’d ever been a part of. He licked her down from her climax then rose up to position his cock at her pussy entrance. Just as he plunged inside of her, the alarm went off, waking him up with his hand around his cock. He cursed and rolled out of bed. Gavin wasn’t in any better shape by the sound of his cursing. Dillon grinned. For Gavin to be dreaming about her, she had to be special to him. He didn’t tend to get emotionally involved with many of the woman they loved along the way. Dillon did. He always fell a little in love with each of them and hated to leave them when the time came. He had a feeling this one was going to be nearly impossible to leave if they managed to get her to go out with them.

**** Briana climbed out of her car exhausted and dreading her job tonight. She was scared spitless and wished she could find something else, but so far, nothing had panned out for her. She had to work to afford to go to school and live. She had a partial scholarship that depended on her making good grades. When the shop wasn’t busy, she could study. If she could just make it through the tonight, she was off tomorrow. She had bought a can of pepper spray and planned to keep it in her hand when she walked out to her car after work tonight. It wasn’t much, but it was the best she could do. She didn’t like guns even if she could afford one. “Hey, Briana, how are you tonight?” Bill was the day clerk for the store. He worked from ten until five, and Briana worked five until midnight when they closed. Sometimes, if they weren’t busy, she closed early. Like last night. “Hi, Bill. I’m okay.” She walked around the racks, heading to the counter. “What in the hell happened to your face and neck, honey?” “Oh, um, someone attacked me last night when I walked outside to go home. I thought I had it pretty well covered with makeup.” “Fuck! Are you okay? Really okay?” he asked, walking around the counter to check her out. “Yeah, two guys helped me, so nothing really happened. I was scared to death, though.” “I’m sure you were. I’ve told you that you shouldn’t be working here.” “I don’t have a choice, Bill. I need the money and the hours work for me.” She pulled out her pepper spray. “I bought this, so I’ll be fine now.”
18
Marla Monroe
“Honey, that only works if you manage to get it in their face and not yours.” He shook his head and gently touched her face. “You didn’t go to the hospital, did you?” “I don’t have health insurance, Bill. You know that.” “You could have called me. My wife would have looked at you.” Bill’s wife was a nurse at the local hospital. It was why he worked days. She had to work nights and someone had to be at home with their baby at night. “Thanks, that’s really nice of you, but neither one of you have the time to stop and see about me. I’m fine. It looks worse than it is.” “Bullshit, honey. I know you. You’re shrugging it off, but you’re hurting. You’re white around the lips.” “You better hurry or you’re going to miss seeing your wife off to work.” Bill sighed. “I hear you loud and clear. Butt out.” “It isn’t that, Bill. It’s just there’s nothing either one of us can do about it. There’s no use in talking about it.” “You be careful tonight, Briana. I’m going to worry about you. At least we’re closed on Sundays so you can rest up some.” “Night, Bill.” “Night, Briana.” Bill picked up his pack and walked out the door. Business was brisk for the first three hours. Then around eight thirty, things slowed down until close to ten that night. A party of five or six people came in after a movie and were just enough drunk to be annoying. By the time they left, she was ready to call it a night, but had at least another thirty minutes before she could lock up. She walked around the store putting up things that had been pulled off the racks and left somewhere else. At least the last group hadn’t dropped things on the floor for her to have to pick up. Every few minutes she checked her watch, hoping it would be time to close, but time seemed to be standing still. Finally, the clock read eleven thirty. She began preparing to close when the bell over the door jingled, alerting her to another customer. She sighed and waited

at the counter, praying they would be quick so she could close after they were through looking. Instead of browsing the aisles, the two men walked up to the counter, and she gasped. It was Dillon and Gavin from the night before. Why were they there? “Um, hi. Did you need something?” That was a stupid question. Why would they be here if they didn’t want something? “We came to see you safely home. This isn’t a good place for you to be this time of night.” Dillon smiled at her. “Do you need help with anything before you close?” “Oh, no. Thanks, but you don’t have to wait on me. I got some pepper spray, so I’ll be fine.” Gavin laughed from where he was standing close to the door. “Baby, that stuff is more likely to get in your eyes than your attacker’s. We’ll see you home safely.” Briana frowned. She didn’t like to be laughed at. Her ex had laughed at her when he felt like she was being stupid about something. “Look. I really appreciate the thought, but I don’t need you to watch out for me.” The door opened, and a man with a hooded jacket walked in. He looked around then headed straight for the counter. He pulled out a gun and pointed it at her. “Give me the money, quick, before I get itchy fingers.” Briana’s mouth fell open, but nothing came out. She just stared at the man. He raised the gun and stuck it right in her face. “The money! Now!” he yelled. Briana started to open the cash register when Dillon calmly tapped the man’s throat with a knife. “If you don’t mind, we were here first.” Gavin had walked up behind him and had a knife at the man’s abdomen.
20
Marla Monroe
“Fuck, man. Sure. It’s all yours.” He started to put the gun away, but Gavin grabbed it and emptied the shells on the floor. “Get out of here and don’t come back. This place belongs to us.” The would-be thief nodded too rapidly and backed out of the store, running into racks and shelves as he did. Briana shivered and continued what she was doing. She stuffed all the money in a bag and held it out to Dillon. “Put the money in the safe like you always do, baby. We don’t want the money,” Gavin said, shaking his head. “But you told him…” “We were just fucking with him, so he won’t come back,” Dillon told her. “Oh. Okay.” Briana typed in the codes and left the cash register to run the closing tape while she locked the door and dimmed the lights. “What can we do to help?” Dillon asked. “Nothing. Thanks. I’ve got it. I just have to wait for the cash register to finish, and then I can wrap it with the money and put it all in the safe for the manager.” She fidgeted while she watched the register. It seemed as if it was taking longer than usual to run tonight. Either Bill had been really busy, or she was just that nervous. Finally, it coughed its last, and she tore off the tape. After wrapping the tape around the money, she pulled back the drawer and dropped the money in it then shoved it closed. The package dropped into the safe, and the drawer came out empty once again. Briana swallowed and stood up. She picked up her bag without bothering to pull out the pepper spray. If they were going to do anything, they would have already done it by now. With them walking her out, she didn’t expect any trouble. “You about ready?” Dillon asked with a smile. “Yeah, I’m ready. I just have to shut off the front lights when we go out.” “Show me which lights, and I’ll do it,” Gavin said.

Briana walked over to the light switches and pointed out the correct ones to him. He nodded, and Dillon walked her to the door. They walked out. Gavin killed the outside lights then followed them. Dillon took the keys from Briana and locked the door before handing them back to her. “Let’s get you in your car.” Dillon walked on one side of her with Gavin on the other. She pulled out her car keys and clicked the fob so that her door unlocked. Gavin opened it for her while Dillon helped her in then closed it behind her. “Drive straight home. We’ll follow you,” Dillon told her through the window. Briana nodded and cranked her car. She waited on them before pulling out from the curb and driving toward home. It all felt so familiar to her. She had butterflies fluttering in her stomach just thinking about it. When she pulled into her drive, the two men pulled in behind her. They took off their helmets this time before walking over to the car. She grabbed her bag when Dillon opened her door. He held out his hand, and she took it, letting him draw her out of the car. Gavin walked up the steps to the porch and waited by the door for them to join him. She inserted her key into the lock and turned it. Gavin immediately pushed open the door and reached inside to flip on a light. He managed to get the inside light without looking. “Looks okay inside. Go in and lock up, Briana,” he said. “Night, Briana,” Dillon said. “Thanks for seeing me home. Good night.” She walked inside and smiled at them before closing the door and setting the locks. She stood at the door for several seconds until she heard them start up their bikes and drive off. She drew in a deep breath and wondered why they had shown up to see her safely home. They didn’t seem to want anything. Surely she wouldn’t see them again.

Briana dropped her keys on the kitchen bar with her purse and fixed herself a glass of Diet Coke. She sipped it while she thought about the two men. They didn’t say a lot, but they had helped her twice now and hadn’t asked for anything in return. Were they some sort of neighborhood watch? She laughed at that. No one cared about that neighborhood. Why were they being so nice to her? Even her ex hadn’t cared that she worked late at night and closed up alone. He’d either be drunk off his ass or asleep in bed when she got home. He never would know if she made it home or not. She shook her head. She refused to think about his sorry ass. He’d bailed on her after using her savings. She hadn’t even realized he had done it until he was trying to sneak out one night when she’d had to come home early from work sick. He had all his clothes and some of her things packed as well, but she had parked behind him and caught him. Briana took her Diet Coke to the bathroom where she ran a bath and lit a candle. She needed a nice, relaxing bath for a change. She didn’t have class or work tomorrow. She could sleep in some and work on her schoolwork. She had some chores to do, but nothing that would take all day. Once the water was like she wanted it, Briana stripped and, after putting up her hair, climbed in the tub. Her breast had ugly purple bruises on it and was tender to touch. She quickly bathed then just leaned back and relaxed against the back of the tub. The warm water was soothing to her aching legs and feet. Standing on the hard concrete floor for five hours tended to leave her feet sore and her legs tired. She closed her eyes, and immediately visions of the two men popped into her mind’s eye. They were both handsome in a darkly rugged way. Those gray eyes seemed to melt her bones when they looked at her. She would love to get to know them if things were different. She sighed. Things would never be right for her to spend

time with two bikers. She had school, and when school was over she would be moving to Dallas to find a job. Dillon was the talkative one. Gavin didn’t say much. He seemed so much more intense than his brother. They had to be brothers, though they hadn’t said they were. They looked so much alike they could be twins. She could almost imagine being with both of them at one time. The naughty thought had her breasts tingling and her pussy tightening. If she hadn’t been so tired, she might have pleasured herself. As it was, she was going to fall asleep in the tub if she didn’t get out. Briana climbed out and dried off. She did something she didn’t normally do. She climbed into bed naked to sleep. The feel of the cotton sheets against her skin was relaxing, and again she felt naughty. It only took the attention of two bikers to have her acting out of character and sleeping nude. God only knew what she would do if one of them kissed her. With that thought, she fell asleep and dreamed of the two bikers.

Chapter Three The next day, Briana had gotten up at eight despite planning to sleep in for a change. She hurried through her chores, then worked on her project that was due the next day. By one that afternoon, she was through and hungry. She hadn’t eaten breakfast, and now it was after lunch. She was leaning inside the fridge when someone knocked on her door. She frowned and closed the refrigerator door. Who would be knocking on her door on a Sunday? She pulled aside the curtain to the window next to the door and saw the two men from the night before. She froze staring at them. What were they doing there? She jerked the curtain back in place and wiped her hands over her face. They would know she was there because her car was in the drive. She argued with herself for several seconds before she gave in and opened the door as far as the chain would allow. “Hey Briana. How are you?” Dillon asked. “Um, hi. I’m fine. Uh, what are you doing here?” she finally managed to get out. “We hoped you would go bike riding with us,” he said. She swallowed and slowly closed the door. Then she removed the chain, hoping she wasn’t going to regret trusting them. She opened the door again. “I was going to fix a peanut-butter sandwich, would you like one?” she asked. “No thanks, but we’ll take you to get something else if you’ll come ride with us.” Gavin spoke this time. “I guess so.”

“You’ll need to change to jeans, though.” Dillon said, looking at her legs. “Oh, yeah, Um, come on in and make yourselves at home while I change clothes.” She backed up a step and opened the door the rest of the way. Dillon and Gavin walked inside and closed the door behind them. They walked toward her living area that was open to her little kitchen. “Go on and change. We’ll wait here for you,” Dillon told her. Briana hurried to change into jeans and a longer T-shirt. The one she had been wearing had holes in it and was a little bit short on her so it showed off too much of her belly to be going anywhere. She changed her tennis shoes to a pair of ankle boots she had as well. When she walked out of her bedroom, the men were standing by her bar waiting on her. “You look nice,” Dillon said with a smile. “Thanks.” She smiled back. “Let’s get going.” Gavin walked over to the door and opened it. Briana grabbed her keys on the way by the bar and stuffed them in her front pocket. She had added five dollars in her back pocket in case she needed to get a bus ride back home again. She wouldn’t be without money. “Ever ridden a bike before?” Dillon asked. “Not since I was ten and rode on the back of a dirt bike.” She laughed. “Not much different. Just lean when I lean and hold on tight. I don’t want you to fall off.” Dillon handed her a helmet and waited while she fastened it before he put his on. “Can you hear me okay?” Dillon asked. “Wow, there are speakers and a mike in the helmets? That’s so neat.” Dillon climbed on the bike then nodded for her to. Gavin was there to help her. She tentatively put her hands on either side of Dillon’s waist.

“Baby, you’re going to have to hold on better than that, or the first time he pulls out or speeds up you’re going to fall off. Hug him. You won’t hurt him,” Gavin assured her. Briana wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged against him. Her sore breast wasn’t happy about it at all, but to feel his ripped abdomen tight under her hands, she could manage to deal with it. “Ready back there?” Dillon asked. “Ready,” Gavin said. “What about you, baby?” “I’m ready.” She hoped she was, anyway. He pulled out of her drive, and they hit the road flying. Well, it felt like they were flying to her. Actually, they weren’t going any faster than the rest of the traffic. She watched the houses and businesses fly by as they maneuvered through traffic. Buildings whisked by until Dillon slowed down and turned into the parking lot of a diner. “We’ve eaten here before and the food is good,” Dillon said as he parked the big bike. “Wait until Gavin is there to help you off.” Gavin walked over and helped her slip off the bike. He removed her helmet, and then moved her aside so that Dillon could dismount. Both men took a hand and walked her toward the door. She had never been here before so wasn’t sure about the place until she got inside and found the restaurant to be clean, without the normal greasy smell most diners had. “Sit anywhere you like, folks. I’ll be with you in a minute,” a fiftyish-looking woman called out to them when they stopped by the counter. Gavin led the way to the back, choosing a table. They each took a seat on either side of the table leaving the two ends for her to choose from. Briana sat in the one offering her the best view of the counter as opposed to the wall.

“They have great hamburgers here, or if you want something heavier, they have good plate lunches, too.” Dillon handed her a menu from next to the napkin holder. She looked over the menu and decided on a hamburger. She didn’t want much. She folded it and placed it back between the napkin holder and the ketchup. “What can I get you folks to drink?” the waitress asked. “Water for us, what would you like, Briana?” Dillon asked. “Sweat tea would be wonderful.” “Go ahead and give her your order,” Gavin said. “I just want a hamburger with everything except onions.” She smiled at the woman. “What for you guys?” “We’re not eating. Just feeding the lady.” Dillon smiled at the waitress. “Oh, I can’t possibly eat if you two are just going to watch me.” Briana was mortified at the thought of them staring at her while she ate. “We’ve already eaten,” Gavin explained. “I could have fixed a peanut-butter sandwich at home. You didn’t have to feed me.” “Why do you work at that store when you could work here? They have job openings.” Gavin changed the subject. “I’m going to school and all my classes are during the day. That means I have to work nights, and I need Sundays off to work on my projects for class. So far, all the jobs I’ve applied for require that I be available to work on Sundays. Since the store isn’t open on Sundays, it works for me.” She couldn’t believe she was defending her job to two bikers. “If you found another job, would you change?” Gavin asked. “In a heartbeat,” she said. “I only have two more months, then I’m finished and can quit that job. I can handle two more months.”

The two men exchanged looks. It was almost as if they were talking to each other. “Two months doesn’t seem like a long time, I suppose. Still, you need to be careful up there.” Dillon leaned back when the waitress brought their drinks. She took a sip of her tea and smiled. It was perfect. “Believe me, I’m careful. I can’t believe all the stuff that has happened the last two nights. I’ve been working there for nearly a year, and other than drunken idiots that were more of a nuisance than anything, I’ve never had trouble before.” “So why don’t you have a boyfriend to watch out for you?” Gavin asked out of the blue. “Um, I had one and I got rid of him,” she said. Actually, he was leaving at the time, but they didn’t need to know that. “What did he do?” Dillon asked. “Nothing really. I guess that was the problem. All he did was drink and lay around the house.” And laugh at her. She couldn’t stand to be laughed at. Briana had worked hard to get where she was. To have some deadbeat tell her she was foolish to think she could do anything with a degree in graphic web design had pissed her off. He’d told her she was trying to be someone she wasn’t. You don’t have the class to be anything but a waitress, honey. Face it. You’re wasting your time. Briana would show him. She’d get a job and do just fine. She didn’t need a man to hold her down. “Here’s your burger.” The waitress sat a giant hamburger down in front of her along with a basket of fries she hadn’t ordered. “There’s no way I can eat all of this,” she said, shaking her head. “Just eat what you can. It’s a righteous burger.” Gavin snagged a fry and popped it into his mouth. She wasn’t at all sure her mouth would open wide enough to even take a bite of it. Briana grabbed the knife and cut the burger in half.

She picked up one half and made her first attempt at eating it. They were right. It was a delicious hamburger. She moaned and rolled her eyes. Gavin and Dillon both grinned. “That good, huh?” Dillon asked. “Yes, it’s wonderful.” She took another bite. By the time she was finished with the first half, she was stuffed. The men had each taken turns snatching fries until there were only a few left. She took one and ate it, but drew the line at another one. “I’m stuffed. I hate leaving half a hamburger. It’s so good.” Gavin signaled the waitress to come over. “What can I get you?” “She can’t eat the other half. Can you wrap it in aluminum foil for us to go?” he asked. “Sure thing, honey.” She took Briana’s plate to the back and returned with a small paper bag with the half of a hamburger neatly wrapped inside. “You ready to roll, Briana?” Dillon asked. “Ready.” They paid the tab and helped her outside where, this time, they put her on back of Gavin’s bike. Dillon helped her on after Gavin had mounted up. Then they pulled out of the parking lot and headed north. Briana knew Round Rock, Texas, like it was the back of her hand, so she knew where they were headed before they got there. It was an abandoned airport just outside of town. A lot of teenagers used it for drag racing. She wasn’t sure what to think of them taking her there or how they would even know about it. They weren’t local, or she would have seen them around. They were too good looking not to stick out. When they reached the parking lot of the old building, they pulled in and turned off the motors. Dillon helped her off the bike and waited while she pulled off the helmet. Gavin was off and pulling off his helmet next. “Bet the high school kids love this place,” Dillon said.

“Yeah, we came here when I was in school and had drag races and beer busts. They keep it patrolled on weekend nights now, so they don’t play out here as much as they used to.” “Come on. Let’s walk to the end of the runway and back,” Gavin said. Briana wasn’t sure why he wanted to walk, but she figured walking wasn’t anything to get upset about and there was nothing at the end to worry her. She walked between them waiting to see what they would do. “What are you going to school to be?” Gavin finally asked. “Web designer.” She waited for him to laugh at her. “Hot job right now. You’ll do well with that,” he said. She almost let her mouth hang open. He was the first person she knew other than Bill that hadn’t laughed at her career choice. “You can even work from home with a job like that,” Dillon added. “I’d like to eventually, but I figure I’ll have to put in my dues first and work in an office, but I don’t mind.” “Are you planning on sticking around here?” Dillon asked. “No. I’m leaving here as soon as I can, and get a job in Dallas. That’s where I plan to move. Hopefully as soon as I graduate.” Briana crossed her fingers. She really didn’t want to hang around Round Rock any longer than she had to. “Got family in Dallas?” Gavin asked. “No.” “Too bad, you could stay with them while you got on your feet.” “Well, you never know. Something might come up,” Dillon said. “So, what do you two do?” She decided to find out a little about them. “We do construction. We work with a crew that travels around to different job sites,” Gavin told her. “Have you been to a lot of different states?” she asked.
Her Biker Bodyguards

She would love to travel. She hoped to do that on her vacations, once she had a job, that was. “Seen a good bit of the nation. Mostly small towns, though. Not many larger cities.” Dillon grabbed her hand to hold while they walked. “Have you ever thought about traveling?” Dillon asked. “Oh, I would love to travel. Maybe once I get a job, I can travel some on my vacations. I’d go to a different state every time.” They had reached the end of the runway now, and Gavin stopped and looked around. Then he turned around and took her hand in his, and they started walking back the way they came. By the time they had finished walking the runway, Briana knew more about them. They rode with the same crew all the time and had been in the army together. Dillon and his brother were twins, and they planned to settle down in one place one day soon. “You ready to head back now?” Gavin asked her. “Yeah, I need to. I have school tomorrow,” she said. She rode back with Dillon. He kept up a steady stream of chatter all the way back to her place. When Gavin helped her off the bike, he helped her with her helmet. Then the two of them walked her to her door. Gavin waited while she unlocked the house before handing her the carryout bag with her burger in it. “I had a great time. Thanks for the burger, too.” She wasn’t sure what to do. Should she invite them in? What then? She had no idea how to handle two strangers who rode bikes. Well, technically they weren’t strangers anymore. “Do you work tomorrow night?” Gavin asked her. “Yeah, I work every night except Sundays,” she told him. “We’ll see you home tomorrow. You can tell us how school went.” Dillon smiled. “Really, I hate for you to wait up so late for me. I’m sure you have to be at work early every morning.”

“Wouldn’t be able to sleep anyway knowing you were alone up there.” Gavin stepped closer to her. Were they going to kiss her? She wasn’t sure how she felt about that. Then Gavin swooped in and took her lips. He pressed gently against hers then licked along the seam. She opened to him almost without thinking. He pulled her lower lip into his mouth where he licked it and nipped at it before snaking his tongue inside her mouth to explore. He teased along the roof of her mouth before sucking in her tongue. Briana felt almost light headed when he finally released her mouth. So caught up in what he was doing, she hadn’t even realized that Dillon was behind her nibbling on the back of her neck until Gavin had released her from his kiss. Dillon turned her in Gavin’s arms toward him and kissed her as well. His kiss was much more playful where Gavin’s had been more intense. Dillon kissed the corners of her mouth then her nose and pulled back. “Unlock the door and let’s get you inside before I lose my good intentions,” Dillon said. She quickly unlocked the door and opened it. She turned as she walked inside and found herself in a fierce embrace from Gavin before being gently pushed inside the house. “Lock up,” Gavin said, a little out of breath. “I will.” She closed the door and set the locks. She heard their steps on the porch then the sound of them starting up the bikes and pulling out of her drive. She touched her fingers to her lips, still remembering the feel of theirs pressed against them. What was she going to do about them? They planned to see her again. Then she asked herself, why not? Have fun while they’re here. It’s not long term. They’ll be moving on soon anyway. What can it hurt?

Chapter Four Every night they showed up at closing time to walk her to her car. She hadn’t had any further trouble, either. Each night, their kisses had become more intense and more suggestive. When Saturday night came and they didn’t show up, she figured they’d gotten tired of her putting them off and given up their post. She climbed out of her car and walked up to the door, but before she got her key in the lock, the sound of bikes had her turning around. Dillon and Gavin pulled up behind her car. They quickly cut the motors and climbed off the bikes. “Are you okay?” Gavin immediately asked. “Yes, I’m fine.” She turned to put the key in the lock again. Only this time, Dillon took it from her. “We’re sorry we weren’t there. We got tied up meeting with our leader. I’m sorry.” Dillon looked really worried. “Really, it’s no big deal. You both have been so nice this week making sure I got home safely. I don’t quite understand why you’re doing it, anyway.” She stood with her hand on the door waiting for Dillon to give her key back. “We like you, Briana. We want the chance to get to know you,” Dillon said. “I’m flattered, but I don’t really have a lot of spare time to date, guys.” “Neither do we. We work from sunup to sundown, six days a week, so we’re pushed for time as well. But we think you’re worth it,” Dillon told her.

Gavin stepped in closer and pulled her into his arms. Briana knew a moment of worry that soon turned to arousal by the time he was finished kissing her. He took advantage of her parted mouth and slipped his tongue inside to explore. When he sucked on hers, she moaned, knowing they were seducing her. Dillon nuzzled her neck from behind, pulling her hair aside so he could reach her skin with his lips. She shivered when he licked then nipped at her tender shoulder area. She could feel his hard cock pressing against the small of her back as he nibbled at her jaw while his brother plundered her mouth. Gavin finally pulled back leaving her unsteady on her feet. Dillon held her back against him, his hands encircling her waist to keep her from falling. “Let us in, baby. We want to take care of you,” Gavin said. “I–I—” she began. “Don’t say no, Briana.” Dillon turned her around and kissed her where Gavin had left off. His tongue teased along the roof of her mouth then settled in to slide back and forth against hers. When he let go of her lips, she sighed. She was going to give in to them. There was no way for her to say no now as turned on as she was. Gavin took her sigh as a yes, and picked her up to walk inside with her. Dillon closed and locked the door behind them. “Bedroom,” Gavin said. “Through that door and to the right. There’s only one bedroom.” Dillon squeezed between them and the door to go first. When Gavin carried her into her bedroom she saw why. He’d pulled back the covers from the bed and moved the pillows aside. When she noticed that Dillon was already undressing she knew a moment of trepidation. What am I doing? This isn’t like me to take up with strangers. But they aren’t really strangers.

Evidently Gavin could tell she was second-guessing herself, because he eased her down his body so that she slid slowly against his massively engorged cock. It drew her breath tight in her chest. All of that could be hers for the taking. She opened her mouth to speak, and Dillon reached around from behind to massage her breasts. When his hand touched the one her attacker had bruised, she yelped and reached to stop him. “Aw, hell, baby. What’s wrong?” Dillon quickly let go and moved around to look at her face. “I didn’t mean to hurt you.” “It’s okay. It wasn’t your fault. You didn’t know.” She attempted to cross her arms, but Gavin had his hands there unfastening the buttons on her blouse. “What the fuck?” He pulled back her blouse, revealing the bruising over her breast. “That bastard from last week did that to you, didn’t he?” Dillon said. “I should have beaten him within an inch of his life,” Gavin fumed as he carefully unfastened her bra. When he removed her bra, the distinct fingerprints could be seen marring her breast in the fading bruises. Gavin bent down and carefully kissed her breast. His lips were tender and his hands soft where his expression was one of intense anger. “Gavin, don’t scare her,” Dillon said. Gavin made a visible effort to rein in his rage at the other man for hurting her. Briana knew he was angry, but he hid it well now. “I’m sorry we didn’t get there before he hurt you, Briana,” Gavin said instead. “I’m just thankful you were there at all. He might have killed me.” “Let’s not think about it anymore. It’s over with.” Dillon smiled into her eyes. Then he knelt in front of her, between her and Gavin, and began to unfasten her jeans. It was then that she realized he was already totally

nude. His cock jutted out in front of him, touching her pant leg. It throbbed with each beat of his heart. When she panicked and brought her hands up to his to once again stop him, Gavin took them and placed them under his T-shirt. “Touch me, Briana. I want to feel your fingers on my skin.” She drew in a deep breath and slowly began smoothing her hands up his chest under the shirt. When she reached his shoulders, Dillon had her jeans pooled at her feet and was urging her to step out of them. She lifted each foot as he pulled her pants away from them. Then he moved out of the way so that she could pull Gavin’s shirt over his head. Gavin bent over and helped her. “Sit on the edge of the bed, baby,” Dillon directed her. Briana felt self-conscious about her body. She knew she weighed more than was stylish, but she had never been one to worry obsessively over her size before. Now she worried and tried to cover herself with a pillow. Dillon frowned and pulled it out of her lap. “Don’t cover yourself. You’re beautiful, Briana.” He cupped her face with his hands and kissed her, then guided his thick dick to her lips. “Suck me, baby. I want to feel that hot mouth on my cock.” Briana eagerly accepted his dick into her mouth, having it stretch her lips wide to encompass it. Then she sucked on it like an all-day sucker until he pulled back from her. In the meantime, Gavin had removed his jeans and was standing waiting his turn at her mouth. She grinned and reached for him. He stopped her from grabbing his dick. “Let me, baby. I want to see how much you can take.” She opened her mouth and sighed when he finally began pushing his massive cock into her mouth. He made short, slow pushes until he was bumping the back of her throat with each thrust of his hips. His rhythm began to falter. She held on to his thighs as he face-fucked her, loving the feeling of power it gave her to know that he was slowly losing control. He abruptly pulled out of her mouth, but held on to her head as he panted. Then Dillon was there again with his dick at her lips. She

licked his cockhead then sucked in just the head of him before swallowing him to the back of her throat. He threw back his head with a shout as she swallowed around him, tightening down on his cock. He, too, pulled out panting. She smiled, pleased with herself. Dillon smiled with her, but Gavin’s expression was intense. It almost scared her, but she really didn’t think he would hurt her. He’d been too careful of her ever since she had met them. She bit her lower lip, watching Gavin watch her. He made her feel naughty just by looking at her. She slid back on the bed some. Dillon climbed on the bed and pulled her further back until her feet alone hung off the edge of it. “You have the prettiest blue eyes, Briana. I love how they sparkle when you smile. I want to see more of your smile, baby.” Dillon leaned down and kissed each breast, being careful of the bruised one. He began sucking and licking the other one, drawing a moan from her. She loved having her breasts stimulated and often wondered if she could come from that alone. Now, she only had one they could work with, the other being too sore to touch. That thought flew out the window when Gavin ran his tongue down her pussy. Dillon spread openmouthed kisses around her breasts and down her belly before traveling back up her cleavage to her neck where he sucked lightly. Gavin lapped at her wet pussy lips and down the inside of her thighs where she’d dripped while sucking on their cocks. Her cunt ached to be filled, but he seemed to be ignoring it at the moment. Instead, he was focused on her pussy lips, sucking them in and licking around them. He made several passes close to her clit, but never actually touched it. Briana tried to tilt her pelvis to line it up with his questing tongue, but he easily avoided it. Gavin pressed a hand lightly on her lower abdomen to keep her still while he tongue-fucked her cunt. It felt so good to finally have something of substance inside of her, but it wasn’t enough and didn’t go deep enough to suit her. She reached down to grab his head.

“Uh, uh, Briana. No touching.” Dillon grabbed her hands. He pulled them above her head and held them there. From this position, he was leaning over her sucking on her nipple with his cock hanging over her mouth. She reached out with her tongue and licked it every time it came within touching distance. She noticed that it came within reach more often. Her pussy was throbbing, in need of filling. Gavin seemed to know this and slowly pushed two fingers inside of her. He pulled them out, then pushed them back in and held them there. “I can feel your cunt squeezing my fingers, Briana. I bet you’ll squeeze my dick like that, too, won’t you, baby?” “Please, I need you inside of me. I can’t wait. Fuck me, Gavin.” “Not yet. I want to play some more. You’re so much fun to tease.” He wiggled his fingers, and she squirmed beneath him. When he began to curl his fingers inside of her and touch some hidden spot she nearly screamed in climax right then and there. He brushed over it again, and she bucked. He smiled. “Ah, you’ve got a ticklish hot spot, don’t you, baby?” He pumped his fingers in and out of her wet cunt as he licked around her clit once again. Dillon pulled at her nipple with his teeth until she wasn’t sure where to concentrate, on her breast or her cunt. Both felt so damn good. She wanted to scream for them to fuck her, but she didn’t want them to stop what they were doing, either. With Dillon holding her hands, she couldn’t reach up and hold his cock still so she could lick it like she wanted to. She couldn’t reach down and hold Gavin’s head still so she could fuck herself with his tongue. Never had she felt so needy and so helpless at the same time. When she thought she would die from the endless teasing, Dillon pinched her nipple at the same time Gavin sucked in her clit and curled his fingers to stroke her sweet spot. She nearly exploded from the pleasure. It was so intense. Every nerve ending in her pelvis and clit burned with her climax. She couldn’t even scream at first. She

whimpered, then finally called out their names as she flew higher than she had ever thought possible. No one had ever given her a climax that perfect before. Hell, she could count on one hand the number of climaxes she’d had by her ex-boyfriend. After she finally came down from the endorphin-induced high, she found Gavin climbing on top of her with a condom-clothed cock lined up with her slit. He leaned into her and kissed her as he thrust his dick deep into her cunt. It set off a series of small climaxes that had her squeezing around him. He cursed and pulled out to thrust again. Again he rubbed over her G-spot, and she shivered with the sensation of it. Dillon was whispering dirty words in her ear as he molded her breast. It was then that she realized he no longer held her hands still above her head. She pulled them down and reached up to touch Gavin’s chest. He smiled fiercely, and she took it to be approval, so she raked her nails along his nipples. He paused and threw back his head. “Fuck, yeah. Mark me, baby.” He shifted his body and lifted her legs over his arms. In this position, he went deeper with each push of his cock until he reached her cervix, bumping against it. She gritted her teeth at the pleasure/pain of having it bumped. She loved it. Very few men could reach her cervix to do that for her. Over and over, he tunneled deep into her cunt wet with her pussy juices. Then he reached down and pinched her clit, sending her into another spiraling climax that took all her control from her. She felt Gavin speed up for a second then stop holding deep within her before he shouted and collapsed over her. He caught himself with his arms and avoided smothering her with his much larger body. After a few seconds, Gavin moved off of her and left the room in search of the bathroom. She continued to try and catch her breath. Dillon grinned down at her with a wicked smile. “Don’t get too comfortable. I haven’t had my turn yet.”

“Oh. My. God,” she said with wide eyes as he rolled a condom over his huge cock. Surely he wasn’t seriously going to fuck her after Gavin had just wrung another climax out of her. There was no way she would come again. Her pelvic muscles were still quivering from the last one. Dillon moved around until he was between her legs. He pulled her up to a sitting position then pulled her into his arms and stood up at the end of the bed with her in his arms. Gavin returned and helped him position his dick at her pussy slit. When he let go, she dropped on Dillon’s cock in one smooth glide. It woke up her nerve endings once again. Then Dillon walked her over to the wall next to the dresser and began tunneling in and out of her sensitive pussy. He stroked over her hot spot with every pass sending little sparks of fire along to her clit. “God, you are so tight, baby. You’re squeezing my dick like a pair of vise-grip pliers.” Briana had no idea what those were, but she couldn’t help tightening her cunt muscles around his in reaction to his stroking her G-spot over and over again. She moaned when she felt the sparks begin to fan into flames. She was going to climax again. She would never live through it. Not three times in one night. Dillon began to curse and lose his rhythm as he plunged in and out of her tight cunt. Finally, he shouted out and slammed her against the wall on last time, grinding his groin into her clit. She screamed and fell over the peak, and thought there was nothing there to hold her. But then Gavin was there, pulling her off of Dillon. He pulled her into his lap on the bed and petted her as she slowly drifted into sleep.

Chapter Five Somewhere around dawn, Briana realized she wasn’t alone in bed when Dillon’s condom-sheathed cock entered her from behind. She was draped across Gavin’s chest with her hands on his shoulders. She dug her nails in his shoulder, waking Gavin with a yelp. She tried to apologize. “It’s all good, baby. Dillon likes his early-morning pussy. Let him make you feel good, Briana.” Gavin buried his face between her neck and her shoulder, seemingly unfazed by the fact that his brother was fucking practically on top of him. There was no way she could just go back to sleep while Dillon tunneled in and out of her pussy. He managed to hit her G-spot with each pass. The angles were so different like this. He stimulated nerve endings and touched places in her that hadn’t been touched before. “Your pussy is so juicy in the mornings, baby. I love sinking my dick inside you.” He reached around and toyed with her clit. “God, that feels good,” she couldn’t help saying, despite having Gavin nuzzled in her neck. “Hmmm, baby. You do too,” Gavin murmured in her ear. “Hold on, Briana. I’m close.” Dillon began to speed up. He pressed her clit several times, and she gasped as a soft climax flitted across her nerve endings. It took her by surprise. “That’s it, baby. Come for me. God. I’m going to blow.” Dillon plowed into her once, twice, and then grew still deep inside of her. He growled at her back before collapsing next to her. She gasped for breath then finally calmed down when Dillon pulled out of her and slipped off the bed. A few minutes later, he

returned, and the bed dipped as he climbed back in. She giggled when he pulled her away from his brother and toward him. She waited to see if Gavin would get angry, but he just reached out and put a hand on her thigh. Evidently as long as he could touch her, he was good with it. Briana lay awake between two men in her bed at the crack of dawn. She wasn’t quite sure how she’d gotten to be there, but she wasn’t unhappy about it. Hell, she had to be honest. They’d given her the best night of her life. But where did it go from there? Would they disappear now that they had had her? She’d had that happen to her before. She stopped and realized she was thinking long term instead of short term. When had she changed her mind about having a relationship with them? Probably somewhere between orgasm number one and number three. Maybe they wanted to be bed buddies while they were in town. She guessed she was okay with that. They were nice to her and had been watching out for her. She kind of liked having them as bodyguards. No one had bothered her. She dozed off and on for the next couple of hours before finally untangling herself from their bodies to shower and dress. She fixed a pot of coffee and then decided to cook a real breakfast. They were big men. They were probably used to a lot of food. She had just finished when both men came in wearing nothing but jeans, unbuttoned but zipped. She poured coffee and shoved a mug at each of them. They both murmured something unintelligible and sipped the coffee. “Food’s ready, dig in. I don’t set a table. You can serve yourselves.” Briana took her plate of scrambled eggs and toast over to the little table for four and sat down with her coffee to eat. It wasn’t long before the men joined her, one on either side of her. “Mmm, this is good. Thanks, baby, for cooking for us. We would have taken you out to eat,” Dillon said.

“I know, but I really didn’t want to go anywhere first thing this morning.” She finished her eggs and toast and rinsed her plate in the sink before preparing to wash dishes. “Nope, we wash, you cooked for us,” Dillon said. “I don’t mind. I’m used to washing up.” “Dillon’s right. You cooked, we wash. That’s a rule.” Gavin took his plate to the sink and shoved her aside with a bump of his ass. “Fine, I’ll go finish dressing. I have errands to run today besides working on my schoolwork.” She slapped both of them on the ass and retreated to the bedroom. She fully expected them to clear out once they had the dishes done, but they didn’t. Dillon walked into the bedroom while she was pulling her hair back in a ponytail. She smiled at him through the mirror. “So, what kind of errands do you have to run?” he asked. “I need to run and pay my utilities and grab groceries.” She applied some lipstick and turned to tell him that she really enjoyed their night, but he pulled her into his arms and kissed her. When he pulled back, he was wearing her lipstick. “Hey, brother, that shade looks good on you,” Gavin said with a small smile. Dillon grinned and licked it off. “Why don’t they make lipstick that has a flavor to it?” “We’ll pay your utility bills for you if you tell us where to go while you grab your groceries,” Gavin told her. “You don’t have to help me. I can handle it.” She began to panic. They weren’t leaving. “We want to spend more time with you. If we help with the chores, you have a little more time,” Dillon explained. “Oh, well. Um, okay.” She grabbed her bills and explained where they went. “I’ll be at the grocery store in town. I should be back soon. “Don’t worry, we can find you.” Gavin seemed sure of that. No doubt he could.

They divided up, and each took their assigned job and pulled out of the drive. Briana still couldn’t believe how accommodating they were being. She wasn’t a fool. She knew they probably had a girlfriend in every town they worked, but what the hell, she could enjoy them while they were around. From what they had said, they would be around longer than she planned to be. She only had two months left, and they had about three. Thirty minutes later, she was loading her groceries in her cart to carry out to the car when they walked into the store. Gavin zeroed in on her and walked purposely toward her. His expression was always so intense. She was beginning to get used to it. “Ready to go, baby?” Dillon asked. “Yeah.” “We’ll load the groceries for you.” Gavin reached out and took her hand in his as Dillon wheeled her cart out to the car. They made short work of loading her car. While Gavin saw her safely buckled in the car, Dillon took the cart back to the store. Then the three of them headed back to her duplex. She thought about all the noise she’d made the night before and was glad that the other side wasn’t rented out at the present. It could have gotten awkward. “What’s the frown about, Briana?” Dillon asked as he opened her door. “Nothing. Just thinking that it’s a good thing I don’t have neighbors right now.” Dillon grinned, knowing exactly what she was talking about. He was obviously a quick study. They followed her in the house with the bags and helped her put away the groceries. Then Gavin picked her up and carried her to the little loveseat in the tiny living room that adjoined the kitchen area. “What’s next, baby?” “I need to work on my homework and study for a test.” She wouldn’t let them deter her from it, either. Her classes were important.

“How about we leave you to your studying and check in with our leader, then come back to take you out to eat dinner tonight?” Gavin asked. “Um, yeah. That sounds good.” Relieved that they weren’t going to push her, she was more than happy to have dinner with them later that night. They each took a nice leisurely kiss before grabbing their gear and hitting the door. “Lock up behind us, Briana,” Gavin warned her. She nodded, and as soon as they were out the door, engaged the locks. Then she walked around the empty rooms for a few minutes, amazed at how deserted they felt without the two men in them to fill them up. Finally, she settled down to finish her project and study. Several hours later, Briana was finished with her homework and was tired of studying for the test. She really didn’t need to study much anyway. She knew the information inside and out. She decided to get a head start on another project and would work until the men showed back up. Around four that afternoon, she heard the unmistakable sound of motorcycles, a lot of them. Then someone knocked on the door. She looked out the window and saw Gavin and Dillon with the rest of the gang. She unlocked the door and opened it with a frown. “Hey, baby. The rest of the crew wanted to meet you so we thought over dinner was a good time. You ready to roll?” Dillon asked. “Sure.” She went inside to grab her keys. When she walked back out, Gavin pulled her ponytail holder out of her hair. “Can’t wear a helmet with one of those in,” he explained as he placed one over her head and fastened the chin strap. “How’s that?” She gave him the thumbs-up and then waited while he climbed on his bike before she mounted up behind him. Dillon had hovered near her in case she needed help. They were so attentive like that. They all

cranked up, and it sounded like a major biker gang riding through the tiny streets of Round Rock, Texas. They took to the highway and headed out of town. Briana had a sneaky suspicion of where they were going. The Bull Pen was a bar and restaurant that catered to the middle and upper class in Round Rock. She had never been there, but knew that it was expensive for someone like her. She hoped they knew what they were doing. When they all roared into the parking lot, they got some odd looks. She realized there were eleven bikes. One had a female. She must be the leaders’ wife, the nurse. “Have you ever eaten here before?” Dillon asked her. “Um, no.” “We have, it’s got great food, and it’s reasonably priced.” Briana just nodded. As long as they knew what they were doing, she was fine. It took about fifteen minutes before they could arrange a table large enough for all twelve of them. In the meantime, they introduced her to the majority of the guys and the gal. She nodded, knowing she would never remember all their names. Tina sequestered her to the side and introduced herself. She was a beauty with her auburn hair and blue eyes. She looked to be about the same size that Briana was. Maybe bikers like their women a little on the plump side. “Zack said you’re in school for web design. That is so cool. You can really do a lot with a degree like that. You can even work from home. That’s always a plus. I have to work in the hospital,” she said. Before she could comment, they announced their table was ready and Gavin and Dillon took a hand each and escorted her to the table. They sat on either side of her. Cole, Zack, and Tina sat across from them. Briana fully expected to be bored or feel left out but was pleasantly surprised that everyone wanted to know more about her and what she was studying.

“So you’ll be finished in about two months. Then what are you going to do?” Zack asked. “Look for a job. I plan to move to Dallas. There are more opportunities around there than anywhere around here,” she said. “You’re right about that. Dallas is a good city to live in. We all live there,” Cole mentioned. She frowned and turned to look at Dillon. They hadn’t told her where they all lived. Just that they all lived in the same place. Were they afraid she would want to latch on to them when she moved there? Well, she would be sure to not do that. It hurt her feelings a little bit to think that she had trusted them, but they obviously hadn’t trusted her enough to share that bit of news. The meal was enjoyable, but she was bummed out that they hadn’t told her about Dallas. Still, they were very attentive and made sure she had everything she could possibly want. Besides, they didn’t have to tell her. They weren’t expecting this to last longer than two months. She pushed herself to enjoy it while she could and stop expecting more out of it than was going to happen. Everyone there welcomed her as if she were going to be a permanent fixture. She appreciated that. They didn’t make her feel like a fifth wheel, or just that woman the guys were fucking. All in all, it was a very nice and relaxing evening. When they returned to her place, she fully expected them to take off since they all had to be up early the next morning, but they pulled out bags from their saddle bags. Obviously they were planning on staying. She hid her surprise and followed them in when Dillon took her key and unlocked the door. They immediately attacked her once the door was locked, dropping their bags by the door. Gavin began nibbling along her jawline, pushing her back into Dillon’s arms. He had both her and Dillon against the door in no time as he sucked in her earlobe, teasing it with his tongue then biting it.

Dillon pressed his hard cock into her ass cheeks, pumping against them while sucking on the side of her neck. He reached around between her and Gavin to unfasten her jeans where he could shove his hand down to her pussy and play. Gavin worked his way back around to her mouth and devoured it. She opened to him instinctively, wanting what he had to offer. His hands were smoothing under her T-shirt, mindful of her sore breast. He ran them up, shoving her shirt out of the way. “Let go, Dillon,” he said in a husky voice. Dillon let go of her neck, and Gavin pulled her T-shirt over her head, throwing it to the side. Then he released the closure on her bra and pulled it off as well. He once again tangled his tongue with hers, sparring and tasting every little piece of her mouth before moving down her jaw and then her neck. He slowly made his way to her breast and sucked on her nipple until she felt the pull of it in her clit. It throbbed for attention. “Gavin, let’s move this to the bedroom,” Dillon said, his voice just as husky as his brother’s. “Fuck, I don’t think I can wait that long to get into her hot pussy.” Gavin ran a hand down in her jeans and sighed when he found her wet and welcoming. “Fine. Let’s go.” Dillon picked her up before she realized what he was going to do. She yelped, and then she held on tight. She kissed his cheek and moved down to suck on his neck. He made a humming noise in his throat that sounded like a purr to her. She grinned and nipped along his neck and jawline as he carried her into the bedroom. “Take her jeans off her, Dillon. I’m dying to be inside of her right now.” “I want her hot mouth around my cock,” Dillon said as he worked on her jeans. “Shoes first, guys.” Briana needed to be the voice of reason or they were going to have a mess on their hands.

Dillon cursed and let go of her jeans to work on her shoes. Briana couldn’t help but giggle, but quickly sobered up when she saw Gavin’s fierce expression and angry cock jutting out in front of him. He eyed her much like a jaguar would eye his prey. She shivered, not in fear, but in anticipation. She stepped out of her jeans and was immediately picked up and tossed on the bed. Dillon climbed on behind her and sat back against the headboard. They had obviously done this before. For a minute, she knew a moment of jealousy, but quickly squashed it. That was the past. This was the here and now. She wouldn’t think about all the women they’d pleasured before. Gavin knelt between her legs and rasped her pussy from top to bottom. She moaned at the delicious feel of his tongue on her cunt. She could hardly wait to experience his cock once again. He circled her clit then kissed it before moving on to stab his stiffened tongue into her pussy over and over. Dillon played with her nipple with his fingers. He gently smoothed over her injured breast with his other hand as if not wanting it to feel left out. Her cheek had his dick resting against it, and when she turned her head, she could barely lick it. He grinned down at her. “Don’t worry. I’m going to let you suck it all you want, baby.” Gavin sucked in her pussy lips and licked them clean of her juices before drawing in her clit and tonguing it. She felt the burning that let her know she was close begin in her spine. He entered her with two fingers and curled them to brush against her hot spot over and over. When he nipped at her clit while stroking her G-spot, she detonated into bliss. Fire burned deep inside her cunt and she craved more. “Oh, God, Gavin. Fuck me! Please, now.” Gavin tore a condom package with his teeth and put it on. “Roll over to your hands and knees, Briana. I’m going to show you pleasure like you’ve never known.” She gathered what strength she had and rolled over to her hands and knees, wiggling her butt at him when she did. He slapped it, then

soothed his hand over it. She grinned and looked over her shoulder before wiggling her ass again. He spanked the other cheek. When she closed her eyes, he spanked both sides two more times, then bent down and licked the tender globes. “Your ass looks so good all red and shiny,” Gavin said. “Now suck Dillon’s cock. Make him come, Briana.” She turned around and found Dillon’s dick directly in front of her face. She ran her mouth over the stalk then grasped the base tightly with her hand, balancing on her knees and one hand. Dillon helped her by placing a hand on her shoulder. As she licked up and down while rhythmically squeezing his cock, Gavin was pumping his fingers in and out of her cunt. He shallow-fucked her for several seconds before lining his dick up with her pussy slit. He entered her slowly, pumping in and out in short, shallow thrusts. He varied the speed and depth for several seconds, making her wild with need. Then he stopped and grabbed something off the bed she hadn’t realized he’d placed there. “I’m going to play with your ass, Briana. It might sting some, but I won’t hurt you. Trust me on this, okay?” His voice sounded almost pleading to her. She looked over her shoulder and nodded her head. She’d never had anal sex before, and until now had been sure she never wanted to try it. For Gavin, she wanted to try anything he wanted to. It was as if his need was her need. He dropped something cold on her back hole and began to massage it into her. He slowly pressed a finger inside of her. She decided that wasn’t that bad. It didn’t even really sting. She felt full, but that was it. He stroked in and out, rubbing against the thin membrane between her ass and her cunt. It was electrifying how good it felt. He pumped his cock and his finger in at the same time, and she felt full as a tick. Briana licked a drop of pre-cum from out of Dillon’s slit and sucked in the mushroom head of his cock quick and deep. He gasped

and stared down at her with drooping eyelids. She was slowly getting to him. When she ran her tongue around the stalk of his dick, he grasped her head with both hands and pumped his cock in her mouth. There was no way she could swallow all of him, but Briana made her best effort and relaxed her throat to take in more of his cock. He held her head there for a second before letting her go. Then she did it again and swallowed around him. He threw back his head and shouted out. She knew he was close. Gavin added more lube to her dark hole, and she felt pressure this time when he added a second finger and pushed them in past the resisting ring. “Breathe through the burn, Briana. You can do it, baby,” he said. “God! I’m so full.” “Just wait till he fills you with his cock, baby,” Dillon said in a strained voice. She redoubled her efforts at making him come. She wanted him to lose control, using her mouth to pleasure him. His dick was throbbing in her mouth as she sucked him up and down then grazed him with her teeth. He groaned and dug his nails into her scalp as she deepthroated him again and again. When she could feel him tighten all over, she let go of his cock and gently rolled his balls as she sucked him down fast and hard. He exploded in her throat. His cum filled it and her mouth as he shot off with a hoarse shout. Briana swallowed it all then licked him clean. He fell back against the bed so that his head hit the headboard with a resounding crack. Briana realized she was pumping her hips backwards onto Gavin’s fingers and cock. He pulled out his fingers and added more lube before positioning his cock at her back hole. It burned when he started pushing against her anus. She whimpered but breathed through it like he’d said and tried to relax. “Easy, baby. “Gavin?” Dillon said, sounding unsure.

“She’s ready, Dillon.” Briana wasn’t sure what they were talking about. At first the pressure was nearly too much. Then when he popped through her tight ring, he stilled and she caught her breath. Dillon was right there with her, kissing her and whispering how well she was doing. Soon she realized she needed him to move. In an effort to let him know, since she was beyond words now, Briana pushed back against his cock in her ass. He hissed out a breath and pulled back before tunneling deeper into her. Over and over he thrust his thick cock inside her virgin ass until she felt like she was going to explode once again. She couldn’t believe she could climax from anal sex. It didn’t seem possible, but his cock touched on all sorts of nerve endings she never knew about. With each brush of his dick she grew tighter and tighter inside until her climax stole over her in a rush so fast she wasn’t prepared for it. She screamed as she shot heavenward too fast to catch her breath. When she came, she clamped down on Gavin’s dick in her ass and forced him to climax as well. He growled and bent over her, biting her shoulder as he did. It triggered another, smaller climax, and she collapsed onto her face and shoulders with only Gavin’s cock in her ass holding her up. He groaned and rolled them over to their side. A few seconds later, Dillon climbed onto the bed and handed Gavin a bath cloth. Gavin groaned but slowly pulled out of her ass. Then he gently cleaned her up with the wet cloth. Then he left to discard the condom. Dillon curled up around her after pulling the covers up over them. Gavin returned to the bedroom and slipped beneath the covers to pull her away from Dillon. He kissed her gently on the lips then around to her ear, where he whispered to her. “You have the tightest ass I’ve ever been in to accept me so easily. Thank you.” Then he returned her to Dillon and rested his hand on her hip, seeming to need her touch.

Briana felt tears in her eyes. That Gavin, of all people, had thanked her for something like that touched her. She rested her hand on top of his and fell asleep.

Chapter Six Gavin carefully extracted Briana’s body from his and slipped out of bed early the next morning. They had to be at the job site by seven. He looked over at Dillon, worried about trying to wake him up without waking Briana too soon. They would have to wake her up to set the locks after they left, but she could sleep a little longer. Dillon, however, was already awake and attempting to move her thigh off of his. Gavin grinned at his predicament. His brother shot him the bird and grinned back. She was good for them. He hadn’t felt this relaxed in a very long time, maybe since before their stint in the army. Whatever, it felt good. He wandered into the front of the little duplex and retrieved his and Dillon’s bags, then took both of them into the bathroom. He jumped in the shower and quickly cleaned up before getting out to dry off. He quickly shaved and dressed, leaving the bathroom for Dillon’s turn. There was a coffeemaker and coffee in the pantry, so he fixed a pot and was sipping at his when Dillon walked into the kitchen carrying his bag. “Coffee. You read my mind.” “Not hard to do, little brother.” “You look different,” Dillon said, cocking his head to one side. “I feel different. She’s the one, Dillon. She’s the one I want to spend my life with.” Dillon’s mouth fell open. Gavin couldn’t blame him. He had only planned for this to be a temporary fling. Now here he was talking about forever. His brother was bound to be shocked. He couldn’t help

but wonder if Dillon would feel the same way. He hoped so, because they were that close to each other. He couldn’t imagine loving a woman and Dillon not feeling the same way. “Well?” he asked. “She’s everything I want in a woman,” Dillon admitted. “But?” “How do we convince her of that? She’s not going to believe we want to share her permanently. That is what you’re talking about, right?” Dillon’s face appeared cautiously closed. “Yeah. I want us to be a family. The three of us.” The relief on Dillon’s face was almost comical. Gavin wanted to hug him, but figured that would be too much for his brother to take in at one time. Instead, he sipped his coffee. “We’ve got to work on her and work fast,” Gavin said. “She graduates in less than two months and we’ve got another three, maybe four weeks after that left on this job.” “Yeah, I don’t want her going off to Dallas without us.” Gavin agreed with that wholeheartedly. Dallas could be a dangerous place for a woman on her own, and he sure didn’t want her meeting up with some other guy. He’d have to tear him limb from limb. “If we’re going to get breakfast somewhere, we need to hurry up,” Dillon said, looking at his watch. “I’ll wake her up to set the locks behind us. Maybe she can go back to sleep for a little while.” “Actually, she has to get up and go to class.” Briana walked into the kitchen wearing a big T-shirt that looked like it had seen better days. Gavin figured it was a favorite. He had a favorite shirt he liked to wear for the hell of it when he rode. She looked so beautiful to him standing there with her hair mussed around her. “Sorry, baby. We didn’t mean to wake you up so early.” Dillon bent over her and gave her a kiss.

She smiled and walked over and pulled Gavin’s head down for a kiss from him. He was tempted to deepen the kiss but figured they really didn’t have time for a quickie, and that was what it would lead to. Instead, he let her go, and she pulled down a cup and poured herself some coffee. “My class is at eight, so I need to be up anyway to get ready and drive over there. Parking is a bitch on campus.” “We better go,” he said. “We’ll be there tonight to walk you to your car and see you home.” “I really appreciate it, but…” “Don’t say it’s not necessary,” Gavin fussed. “It is. We don’t want anything to happen to you. We just found you.” He stopped, realizing that was as close as he’d ever come to telling a woman how special she was to him. “Thanks, guys. Hope you have a good day at work, though how working construction could be a good day at work, I don’t know. “Beats working at an adult store where you attract sickos like us,” Dillon said. “Funny,” she said, rolling her eyes. They left, heading for the diner for breakfast after making sure Briana locked up after them. The ride over gave him time to think more about a relationship with her. Would she balk at a three-way marriage? He and Dillon would need to work out who actually married her because they would make sure she was covered in case something happened to either one or both of them. What about her career? He really didn’t want her to work outside of the home, but he was sure it would be important to her after having struggled so hard to get her degree. He needed to think on that and talk to Dillon. His brother usually had good ideas on compromising. He wasn’t one to do that under normal circumstances. They pulled into the diner parking lot where the other part of the group had already gotten there. When they walked into the restaurant, Ranger and Drew whistled at them.

“You guys got all the luck,” Ranger fussed. “We get stuck in a hotel and you get a hot woman and a soft bed,” Neal piped up. “Shut up, Neal,” Gavin said with a growl. “That’s enough, guys.” Cole spoke up. Cole was their leader and very acute at knowing when anything was going on. Gavin figured he knew something was up. They finished breakfast and headed out to the job site. Normally, he had no problem putting a woman out of his mind and concentrating on work, but Briana was different. He thought about her off and on all day. If anyone noticed his slight inattentiveness, they wisely didn’t say anything. Well, except for Dillon. “Man, you’re so not with it today. I think you need to step back, take a break, and get your head on straight. This isn’t like you, bro.” “Yeah, fuck you, too, bro.” Still, Dillon was right. He walked over to the cooler and pulled out a bottle of water. Cole wandered over and pulled out a bottle as well. “You thinking of skipping out on us?” Cole asked. “Not planning on it, why?” “I see the same light in yours and your brother’s eyes that was in Kyle’s and West’s eyes.” “I could say the same thing about you and Zack,” Gavin said. Cole chuckled. “Probably so. But we’re all still working together. I guess I’m just worried you’re planning on quitting the crew.” “Nope. Besides she’s planning to go to Dallas and look for a job. We just have to figure out how to convince her to stick with us when she goes.” “Tell her you love her.” “I’m not sure I can do that,” Gavin said. “If you’re not sure, you don’t have any business trying to make something permanent out of it.”

Someone called out for Cole. He waved and looked Gavin in the eyes. “Be damned sure of your feelings before you hurt her, Gavin. Women don’t like to be hurt.” With that, he walked off to talk to one of the others. Sighing, Gavin finished his water and returned to the wall he was working on. He pushed everything to the back of his mind and concentrated on work. There was plenty of time to think about Briana, love, and how he knew if he was in love. **** Briana spent the rest of the week studying and working and making love with the guys. They had moved their things into her little duplex and given up their hotel room. She was secretly glad, but then what were they going to do when she left? And what about leaving? She wasn’t looking forward to it as much as she had been. She had to admit to herself that it probably had more to do with leaving Gavin and Dillon than anything else. She was still content with her job plans, but uneasy about moving to Dallas. They lived in Dallas. What were the odds they would ever cross paths again, though? When they moved on, she needed to, also. What if they wanted to see her, though? Would she continue their affair? Was it a relationship? They hadn’t done a lot of talking lately. Right now it all seemed to be centered around sex. Not that she was complaining, but a real relationship involved more than just sex, even spectacular sex. It meant sharing more of herself and being vulnerable with her thoughts. She sighed and looked at the clock. She only had another thirty minutes left of her shift and the work week. The guys would be there soon. She was really enjoying their being her bodyguards for work. She had never felt so safe as she did with them around. They were making the last few weeks of her job much easier on her.

Ten minutes before she started closing down, they pulled up out front. She waved and began the closing process with the cash register and the lights. She locked the door while she dealt with the money and the tape, then grabbed her backpack and joined them after locking the door behind her. “All set?” Dillon asked. “Ready. I’m so ready for my day off, I could cry.” She threw her bag into the passenger seat of her car and climbed in. Gavin closed the door and waved her off. They followed behind her, pulling into her drive behind her. She decided that tomorrow they would talk instead of riding all day. She loved riding with them, but they needed more than that and sex if they planned to have any sort of relationship. She could be totally wrong. Once she moved to Dallas, they might not plan on still seeing her. If not, she would just be putting an end to things early. Why did that seem to break her heart? She hadn’t known them long enough to have fallen for them. Besides, she couldn’t fall in love with two men at one time, and she had equal, though different, feelings for both men. Bringing love into the equation was a sobering thought. Briana hesitated at the door. “What is it?” Dillon asked. “N–nothing. I was thinking about school and forgot what I was doing.” “Glad you didn’t do that while you were driving,” Gavin teased. She looked over her shoulder at him. He actually teased her. It was so unlike him that she had to close her mouth and return to unlocking the door. Maybe things were more serious than she had thought if Gavin was relaxing around her more. The idea made her smile.

Chapter Seven After dinner, Briana and the guys decided on watching a movie that was on they all wanted to watch. She loved action movies, so they were in agreement on that. She filed away that positive piece of information. She found herself situated between the two of them on the couch. Gavin wrapped an arm around her shoulders, and Dillon rested his hand on her thigh, squeezing occasionally as if to reassure her that he was still aware of her. Occasionally, Gavin would whisper something naughty in her ear about what he wanted to do to her when the movie was over with. “I’m going to fuck your ass tonight while Dillon fucks your pussy.” She shivered at the promise in his voice. They hadn’t done that yet. Both men had fucked her there separately, but not at the same time. She couldn’t imagine being able to hold both of them at one time. Physically it seemed impossible, but Gavin had assured her it was possible. On top of that, he promised it would be the best sex of her life. How they could top everything else she had experienced, she didn’t know, but she did know it would probably kill her. The movie closed with a massive car-chase scene that ended with several explosions and the good guy getting the girl. As far as the rest of it, Briana wasn’t sure she had really seen any of it. She’d been wrapped up in her own thoughts and the sensations of having the guys touching and caressing her. “I, for one, am ready for bed,” Dillon said with a yawn.
Her Biker Bodyguards

“Now you’ve made me yawn,” Briana accused as she stretched with hers. “Enough complaining, you two. Time for bed.” Gavin gave them each a push toward the bedroom. If Briana didn’t know any better, she’d say he was as antsy about tonight as she was. He seemed to vibrate with energy. Maybe he was worked up over it. That thought thrilled her. It meant that just maybe she meant more to him than a short-term sexual liaison. She hoped it did, anyway. The three of them walked into the bedroom, stripping as they went. It was if they had a purpose in mind. Actually, she guessed they did. They were going to try something different, for her anyway. She was sure they’d done it a thousand times. That thought sobered her, and she lost some of her excitement. “Come here, Briana,” Gavin said. She hesitated, but then walked closer to him. His cockhead was an angry-looking purple that stood out strong and proud. When she stopped in front of him, he drew her into his arms and kissed her forehead and then down along her cheek before laying a gentle kiss on her lips. “I’m turned on by the thought of getting you between Dillon and me. I promise it will blow your mind how good it can feel.” “I’m still not sure you both will fit, Gavin,” she said, a tremor in her voice. “If it hurts all you have to do is tell us to stop, and we will. But you were worried about us fucking your tight ass, and now you love it. Right?” “Yes.” “Gavin’s right, if it’s too much for you, we’ll stop.” Dillon ran his hands up and down her arms. “First, I want to taste that pussy.” Gavin walked her backwards to the bed until she sat down on it. He pushed her on more until she was lying with her legs over the edge of the mattress. Dillon knelt between her legs and spread her pussy

lips apart to lick her juices. His tongue delved inside her to reach every bit of her honey. Then he sucked her pussy lips in and tickled them before rubbing over her clit quickly and moving on to spear her cunt with his tongue. He added two fingers and began stroking her Gspot over and over before sucking in her clit once again to bring her over. Briana called out his name as sparks ignited throughout her body. Heat flared in her breasts making them achy. Her nipples peaked. Now fully over her bruising, they loved sucking and playing with both of her breasts. As climaxes went, it was great, but quick. She could tell they were anxious to get to the main attraction—namely, her between them. She licked her lips as she caught her breath. This was it. “Dillon.” Gavin just said his name, and Dillon climbed up on the bed and lay down. “Come on up here, baby.” He took a condom from Gavin and tore open the package before rolling the condom over his hard dick. “Climb up on me, Briana. I want to feel your tight cunt around my cock. You’re so fucking tight. And when you come, it squeezes my cock so good.” Briana straddled his legs and climbed up over him. He held his dick steady as she lowered herself onto him. It was a tight fit as usual. It took her several tries before she managed to rest her pussy flush with his groin. He didn’t quite bump her cervix like this, but it was close. Dillon pumped up into her tight cunt several times before Gavin pushed her down. Dillon wrapped his arms around her to hold her steady while Gavin prepared her for his cock. Gavin spread lube around her back hole then inserted the nozzle to the tube inside her anus and added lube there a well. Then he inserted two fingers into her tight rosette and pushed them gently past her ring until they were inside. He pumped them in and out until she was pushing back on them, needing more. She was used to this with him

in her pussy and his fingers fucking her, but another cock? She wasn’t all sure this would work. “Relax, baby. Remember, breathe out and push out for me.” Gavin positioned his cock at the entrance to her ass and began to push. The burn was tremendous at first, then as she pushed back, he popped through and stilled. God, it felt as if she were stuffed tighter than a Thanksgiving turkey. She wiggled, needing one of them to move and nearly came off the bed when he pushed forward and Dillon pulled out. There was always a cock inside her. Never had she felt so full inside. The added stimulation of a cock in her ass woke unused nerves she’d never knew existed, even beyond the ones she’d experienced before when he’d first initiated her in anal sex. They stretched her unbelievably thin, rubbing over her membrane. Surely they could feel each other’s cocks as they pumped in tandem inside of her. Over and over they pushed and pulled, thrust and retreated. Her nipples ached. As if he knew she needed it, Dillon latched on to one and sucked hard. It very nearly was her undoing. Gavin grabbed tightly to her hips and began to tunnel in and out of her harder and faster. The squeeze of both of them soon proved too much for Dillon, and he came with a hoarse shout. Gavin didn’t stop there. He continued as she began to climb upwards further than she’d ever been before. Her breathing became raspy, and her sight dimmed as she ended up with tunnel vision. Feeling them both inside of her had sealed them as a triad as far as she was concerned. Something about all three of them fucking at once had her heart singing. She was sure it wasn’t a good thing considering their unique situation, but she would worry about that later. She would study it later, when she didn’t have the most amazing climax of her life about to flow over her like a tsunami coming ashore. When it hit, it took her with it. She screamed while stars exploded behind her eyelids and her muscles contracted all over. It was almost like having a seizure she expected as she shook all over. Her cunt

contracting on Dillon’s cock sent him clawing at the covers and Gavin shooting his cum deep into the condom. They all collapsed, still joined together. How would she ever be the same after this? Briana felt tears in her eyes at the intimacy of it. She was sure the men hadn’t felt it. Men didn’t get emotional over such things as binding sex. “Get up, you two. I need the bathroom.” She needed to regain composure of herself was what she needed. “Are you okay?” Gavin asked, turning her face to where he could see her. “Yes. It was unbelievable. You were right. I’d never reach anything like that any other way. Thank you.” She turned to Dillon and kissed him. “Thank you both.” The men pulled out, and she escaped to the bathroom where she washed up and bathed her face with cold water. She knew she would never be the same after that. They’d gone and sealed her fate. She would love them forever. And that left her lonely inside since they probably wouldn’t look her up once they returned to Dallas. Maybe she should consider Houston instead. But Dallas was where she had her heart set, and she had already made contact with several companies that were interested in her. “Briana? Are you sure you’re okay in there?” Dillon’s voice sounded worried through the door. She opened the door and smiled her brightest smile. “I’m fine. I just need to freshen up.” She squeezed past him to let him in and her out. He stopped her and looked in her eyes. Whatever he saw made him frown. He bent down and kissed her, opening her lips with his tongue and sliding it alongside hers before pulling back from the kiss. “You’re amazing, Briana.” Then he let her go and walked the rest of the way into the bathroom. When she walked into the bedroom, Gavin was sitting on the side of the bed with a strange expression on his face. He looked like he’d

thought about something that worried him. She went to him and knelt over his lap and hugged him. Whatever it was, it involved her, and she knew it. Was this the end of their relationship or whatever it was? “Baby, if you’d only told us to stop, we would have. I never wanted to hurt you.” “Gavin, you didn’t hurt me. It was amazing. I’ve never experienced anything like it.” “Then why did you look so devastated?” he asked. “I didn’t realize I did,” she hedged. “Bullshit. You looked as if someone had kicked your dog or something.” She sighed. There was no getting around this. Not with Gavin. “I guess it was because I’m afraid this is the beginning of the end. I don’t want it to end, but I know it has to. You’re leaving here in a few weeks, and so am I.” “You’re still going to Dallas though, right?” he asked. “That’s the plan.” “You don’t sound as confident about it as you were. What gives, Briana?” “Just wondering how to end this. I don’t want to get hurt, Gavin.” “Who says it has to end?” Briana froze. She searched his face and could find no sign of deceit. Instead, he looked sincere. Did he really mean it or just saying it to appease her worry? “I’m not going to lie to you, baby. There’s something between the three of us that is important. I want to explore it and see where it leads. You mean a lot to me. I know Dillon feels the same way.” “I–I don’t know what to say. I feel something for you, too. Both of you. I’m just not sure it’s enough to bridge our different worlds.” “I think it’s worth a try.” Gavin brushed a tendril of hair behind her ear. Dillon walked in and stopped just in the doorway. Briana knew he was there. She turned to him.

“You’re a part of this, too, Dillon. Come on in.” “Something tells me that this is serious.” He looked over at Gavin with a worried expression on his face. “What are you talking about?” “What comes after this. She’s thinking that we might not want to have anything to do with her once we’re finished here.” “That’s not exactly what I said.” She frowned. “Don’t put words in my mouth, Gavin.” “Are you wanting a commitment, Briana?” Gavin asked in a quiet voice. She hesitated a few seconds too long. Gavin cursed and ran a hand through his hair. “I can’t give you that right now. I need more time to get to know you.” “I don’t need a commitment, just an understanding,” she rushed to tell him. “What sort of understanding?” Dillon asked. “I don’t know. That you won’t take another woman while we’re exploring this thing between us.” “You think we’d be so crass as to fuck someone when we’re fucking you? You don’t know us at all.” Gavin put her off him and stood up. He crossed the room and began to dress. “Gavin?” Dillon asked cautiously. “If she doesn’t trust us, I’m not sticking around to find out what else she believes about us.” Dillon turned a stricken face toward Briana. He looked haunted, but he pulled on his clothes and picked up his bag as well. He followed Gavin out the door. “Lock the door, Briana,” Dillon said. Gavin was already on his bike waiting on Dillon. Briana closed the door with tears in her eyes. What had she done? She had ruined the best thing that had ever happened to her. All because she wanted

to know that they were serious. Had they expressed it and she just hadn’t caught on to it? Was it all her fault? Briana walked to the bedroom and crawled into bed, curling around her pillow. She could smell them on her sheets. She cried then. Cried and cried and cried. Everything had gone so wrong. She didn’t think she would ever see them again. Nothing had prepared her for the gut-wrenching pain that ate at her heart. Nothing would ever compare to what she had with them. She didn’t think she would even try to find out.

Chapter Eight Briana moved through her Sunday chores on autopilot, without really thinking about what she was doing. When she had finished, she sat on the couch and stared at the TV even though she hadn’t turned it on. Nothing interested her anymore, not food and not reading. She alternated between crying and being angry with herself. How could she have misunderstood their intentions? Hell, what were their intentions? She still wasn’t clear on what Gavin had been getting at before she’d screwed it all to hell and back. By the end of the day, she was a nervous wreck. She realized she hadn’t worked on her project, and tried to focus on it but failed miserably. Finally, she managed to get through it. It wasn’t her best work, but it would do. She needed to get back on track, but today wasn’t the day. Maybe tomorrow would be better. The next day she finished school, having floated through it without really hearing anything the professors were saying. She had finals soon, and she needed to be concentrating. By the time she got to work, she had talked herself into forgetting about the guys and getting her mind back on her schoolwork. After all, it was what was going to get her through the rest of her life. Bill met her at the door. Something was up. He looked strung out. “Hey, what’s wrong, Bill?” “We’ve had some dangerous-looking dudes hanging around most of the day. I really think you should call in sick and let me shut the store down tonight, Briana.” “I can’t, Bill. I need the money to pay my rent. I’ll be fine.”
Her Biker Bodyguards
69
“Damn it, Briana. I’ll pay for your rent this month. I’m really afraid for you.” She stiffened her spine. “Thanks for worrying about me, but I’ll be fine. You better get home before you miss your wife.” “I’m going to call and check on you. Be sure you answer the phone, or I’ll call the police.” “Fine, Bill. Now bye.” Bill gritted his teeth and muttered something about stubborn women as he grabbed his pack and walked out the door. Briana stiffened her resolve and walked over to the counter to drop her pack and look at what needed to be done. She started by cleaning the counter. Then she moved around the store putting up items that had been left out. Around ten p.m., two rough-looking men walked into the store and headed straight for her. She kept a look of confidence on her face and put her hand beneath the counter as if she had a panic button. “Can I help you gentlemen?” “Now maybe you can. Why don’t you come out here and show us some of your toys. Maybe you can even demonstrate them for us. What do you say?” “Sorry, but I’m not coming out from behind the counter. I can tell you where to find anything you’re looking for.” Still she kept her hand under the counter. “You might as well move your hand, lady. I know you don’t have a panic button under there.” Briana’s confidence faltered, but she kept her hand where it was. It was just her luck she didn’t have her pepper spray there to grab instead of in her backpack. She might as well steel herself for whatever was to come. She would fight. She would scream, and she would fail with two of them. Maybe if she could get one of them in the nuts…

“I said come out.” He reached across the counter and grabbed her by the neck, dragging her over the counter until she was lying over the scanner on her belly. “What do you want?” she managed to get out of her sore throat. “Well, now. I should think that would be pretty obvious. You’re a pretty thing, and we like pretty things. Maybe we’ll give you something pretty for taking care of us like a good bitch.” He pulled her on over the counter and caught her so that she didn’t fall flat on her face. He hugged her to him and kissed her. She tried to turn her head, but the other guy held it still. The other man whispered in her ear. “Don’t do anything stupid and make him mad.” He forced his tongue into her mouth and nearly choked her. She struggled and managed to knee the guy in the nuts hard enough he let her go. The other man was taken by surprise, and she ran for the door. She made it outside, but they followed her. She ran right into a hard body and nearly screamed until she saw that it was Dillon. He immediately put her behind him. “Seems like you’ve picked on the wrong woman, guys. She’s under our protection,” Gavin said. “I don’t see no collar on her, or a ring on her finger. She’s not marked, she don’t belong to anyone.” The seeming leader advanced on the guys. She cowered behind them. They were going to fight over her. She’d never wanted them to get hurt because of her. As long as it was just for show, she was all for having them as bodyguards, but now? She wasn’t so sure. She wished she had her phone, but that was in the store behind the bad guys. She couldn’t get to them there. Gavin made the first move and lunged for the bigger man. He landed a punch first, but the other man followed through with a jab that caught Gavin in the solar plexus. Dillon remained in front of her, staring at the other man.

Briana saw his phone on his belt and pulled it off. Dillon grunted but didn’t take his eyes off his opponent. She figured if the other guy moved to help his buddy, he would join in. She figured they had their leader’s name on speed dial, so she took a chance that one would be Gavin and punched two. Sure enough the name “Cole” popped on the screen. She punched send and waited for him to answer. “What is it, Dillon?” “It’s Briana. They need help. Their fighting some bullies over me and I’m scared.” “Where are you?” he asked. “At the adult store. Do you know where it is?” “Yeah. We’re on our way. Don’t get involved, or you will distract them. Got it?” “I won’t.” He hung up on her. She kept the phone since trying to put it back on Dillon’s belt would distract him. The second guy lunged for Dillon. They grappled with punch after punch. She couldn’t keep up with both Dillon and Gavin at the same time. She winced every time one of them got hit. Finally, she heard the roar of motorcycles approaching fast. She sighed with relief when they circled the fight and got off to pull the two men off Gavin and Dillon. They pummeled on them until they were no longer able to stand up. Then they dragged them over behind the building and left them for the police. Briana went to both Dillon and Gavin to see how badly they were beaten. Both had busted noses and lips, but other than that they didn’t seem in really bad shape. At least they weren’t letting her see how badly they were hurt. “Get your stuff, Briana, and lock up. You’re going home, and you’re not working at that place again,” Gavin said with a growl, still panting. Dillon held out his hand for his phone. She handed it to him and noticed he didn’t smile at her. She swallowed around the lump in her

throat and backed away from them. She went inside and emptied the cash register without running the tape. The manager could do it in the morning. She locked up and got in her car. Before she closed the door, Cole walked up and held it. “Thanks for thinking. Calling us was the right thing to do. I’ll talk to them.” “Don’t. This has nothing to do with that. We’re not together anymore. I guess they still felt an obligation to be sure I got home okay. I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve never had so much trouble before. I guess the neighborhood is totally wasted. Thanks, Cole.” The other man just nodded and turned away. She closed her door and drove off after starting the car. She had no idea if anyone followed her or not, and didn’t care anymore. She just wanted to get home. When she pulled up in her drive, the sounds of motorcycles were right behind her. It sounded like the entire gang had come along to watch her get inside. She got out of her car with her pack and walked up to the door. The key was jerked from her hand, and Gavin unlocked the door before handing the key back to her. He touched her throat lightly and cursed, then drew in a deep breath. “Lock the door, Briana. I mean it. You’re not working at that place anymore. I’ll burn it to the ground if you go back.” She had little doubt he meant it. She just nodded and closed the door, locking it before running to the bedroom, throwing herself on the bed to cry. Between the scare, the fight, and the knowledge that despite their being over, he had come to make sure she was okay, Briana was a total wreck. It didn’t help that she had finals coming up. She didn’t manage to get any sleep, so when it was time to get up, she called her boss and told him what had happened and that she wasn’t going to be working anymore. He wasn’t happy but didn’t fuss overly much. He promised to mail her last check to her. She skipped breakfast and went on to school to sit and study while she waited on time for her first class. All she could think about though

was the look of no emotion in Gavin’s eyes when he looked at her. He really had cut her out of his life. Now, with her not working at the store, she’d never see them again. **** “Fuck, my ribs hurt.” Dillon said. “Suck it up, Dillon. We still have to work tomorrow.” Gavin held a cloth with ice in it to his face. “Did you see her eyes, Gavin? They were devastated.” “Doesn’t matter. She doesn’t trust us. I can’t have a relationship with someone who thinks so little of me.” “Relationship, is that what we had? ’Cause, man, you never said a word about anything like that. I doubt she believed we meant anything like that. We fucked her and hung around her house, but we didn’t give her any hope that we were serious.” Dillon was angry with Gavin, but wouldn’t go behind his back. “She knew. She wouldn’t have asked for more, Dillon, if she didn’t know we thought more of her than just a random fuck.” “If you say so.” Dillon walked into the bathroom and closed the door a little more forcefully than was necessary. He turned on the shower and stepped in. The water stung against his bruises and cuts, but it meant he could feel something. He had been feeling cold inside without Briana. Something had to give. Gavin was going to blow a fuse if he didn’t calm down and think for a change. He lived by his emotions, and for a while, he had actually started to let his mind take over again. But that was over. There was a knock on the door, and then a blast of cooler air swirled into the shower around him. “I’m going for a ride. I’ll be back later.” “Wait and I’ll go with you.” “I’d rather go alone,” Gavin said and closed the door.

Dillon blew out a breath and finished washing off. He dried off and had just pulled on his jeans when there was a knock on the door. He checked the peephole and found it was Cole and Zack. Great, he was going to get chewed out without Gavin to take his part. He opened the door and stepped back. Cole and Zack walked through and looked around. “Where’s Gavin?” Cole asked. “He went for a ride. Wouldn’t wait around for me.” “What’s his problem?” “He got all fucked up over Briana wanting us to agree to only seeing each other if we were going to move on in the relationship. Gavin took it to mean she didn’t trust us. I don’t know what’s in his head. He was all into her and now he’s dropped her like a hot potato.” “I told him to tell her he loved her. He insisted he didn’t know if he did. The man is so in love with her he can’t think straight,” Cole said disgustedly. “Well, I’ll admit I am. But I’m not doing anything without Gavin. He’s got to either come around or move on without this pissed-off thing going on. He’s going to end up doing something stupid.” “Want me to talk to him?” Cole asked. “Not right now. Give it a few days. Maybe over the weekend if he’s not any better.” Dillon sighed. “He’s never been right since we got back from Iraq. For a while, he was acting almost normal around her. She was good for him. Then he had to go and fuck it up.” “Tell me when, Dillon, and I’ll give it a try.” “Thanks, Cole.” The two men walked out. Dillon didn’t lock the door since Gavin had to be able to get back in. He didn’t bother turning back the covers. He just lay back on the bed and folded his arms behind his head to think. Briana would be leaving for Dallas in a few weeks. Without working, she’d probably move as fast as she could so she could find a

job. He wasn’t sure how they would find her in a city as big as Dallas when Gavin came to his senses. That is, if it wasn’t too late. Around four in the morning, Gavin walked in stinking of booze. Fuck. That was all he needed. There was no way he was going to work today. “What in the hell did you do, Gavin? You smell like a still. I can’t believe you rode home like that. You could have been killed.” Dillon spat out. “Oh, shut the fuck up.” Gavin fell face-first on the bed. Dillon shook his head, then started pulling off his brother’s boots and then his shirt. He left him on his stomach in case he threw up. Hell, he couldn’t leave him like this. That meant he couldn’t go to work today. He would call Cole as soon as it was a decent hour, and tell him what was going down. He thought about Briana and sighed. He loved her. Deeper than he’d ever loved a woman in his life. She meant everything to him, but he couldn’t betray his brother. There had to be some way to get Gavin to give her a chance. She needed some sort of encouragement that they were serious. They hadn’t said anything to her to give her that idea. No matter what Gavin thought, actions alone weren’t enough for a woman. They needed words. At six fifteen, Dillon called Cole and filled him in. His leader wasn’t happy, but understood. “Tell that son of a bitch he’s in trouble when he can think coherently.” “I will.” He hung up the phone. “Right after I rip him a new one.”

Chapter Nine Briana turned in her last test paper of the semester. Actually, it was the last one of her college career. Now if only she would pass. She felt terrible about her tests. She hadn’t done nearly as well as she knew she could. She’d find out next week how she did. Then there was graduation. She was seriously considering skipping it entirely. She needed to get to Dallas and find a job. She’d put up enough money to get her an apartment and settled for a couple of weeks while she looked. Then there was always waitressing to pay her bills if worst came to worst. Anything would be better than the job she’d had here. Now she could afford to be choosey since she didn’t have to work nights. When she got home, she locked the door and dropped her books in the living room by her computer. Then she fixed herself a Diet Coke. She wasn’t hungry. She wasn’t hungry at all anymore and only ate to keep her strength up. No matter how much she chastised herself, she kept thinking about Dillon and Gavin and wondering what they were doing. Working, of course, but what about at night? Were they already with another woman? The thought of them holding someone else had her chest hurting all over again. She gagged and rushed to the bathroom to throw up. She had done that a lot lately. Every time she thought of them, she got sick. She cleaned herself up and grabbed her purse and car keys. She would get a Dallas paper and look for a place to live and a job. It would keep her mind occupied for a while, anyway.
Her Biker Bodyguards
77
When she got back, Briana spread the paper out on the bar and circled everything that sounded good. She was sure there would be a lot of duds, but she couldn’t afford to pass anything up that was within her budget. She managed to find a dozen possible jobs and knew there would be more in Sunday’s paper. She would get one and look at them. In the meantime, she needed to update her résumé. Well, as soon as she got her test results back. Fear overwhelmed her again that she hadn’t passed. She sniffed and felt the tears well up in her eyes. Bill called to find out how her tests went and to commiserate with her. She knew he meant well, but he only stirred up her emotions again. How did you get over being in love with someone who had dumped you? When she finally found out she’d passed and with a fairly good grade, she rejoiced, but it was short lived. It meant it was time to move on. And that meant no chance of Gavin and Dillon coming back. Deep down she had harbored a sick hope that they would come back and profess their love of her. Briana began packing and making plans. She had fifty résumés printed out and ready to send out as soon as she had an address. Since the house had come furnished, she didn’t have much to move. She managed to fit all of it in her car. She left out just what she needed for getting ready the next morning and planned to leave early Monday morning. It crossed her mind that the men would be leaving in another month themselves. She refused to think of them anymore. All it did was get her to crying until she threw up. She didn’t need to lose any more weight, as her clothes wouldn’t fit her. She couldn’t afford to buy more clothes. Monday found her antsy at four in the morning. She finally got up and got dressed. She packed the last of her things and grabbed a cup of coffee and sweet roll on the way out of town. She resisted the urge to drive by the hotel where the men were staying to get a glimpse of

their bikes. How sick was that? It was time to move on. And that was what she was doing. **** By the end of the week, she had a place to live and a job. The wonderful thing about her job was that she got to work from home, only going in occasionally for meetings. Never had she expected something that perfect. Her apartment was cozy and in a fairly nice neighborhood. Certainly better than where she had lived in Round Rock. She found that there was an entire community there complete with a grocery store, bakery, Starbucks, and laundry. Briana settled in quickly and loved her new job. She still thought of the guys on a regular basis. Especially since she figured out that she was pregnant. Somehow someone’s condom had leaked. It didn’t matter whose baby it was. She would cherish it regardless. Working from home would be perfect for being a single mother. She struggled with the thought that she needed to inform them. They had a right to know. She finally came to the conclusion that she had to tell them. She had their phone numbers. She tried Dillon first. He didn’t answer. It went to voice mail. She left a message that she needed to talk to them. He didn’t call back. She called Gavin’s number, but he didn’t call back, either. She didn’t have their address. They weren’t listed in the phone book. What more could she do? She wasn’t going to tell them over the phone that she was pregnant. She just couldn’t. She’d done her due diligence with no results. Her conscious was clear as far as she was concerned. It didn’t make her feel any better about it. She felt like she was betraying them by not telling them. She tried calling them one more time. This time Dillon called back. He sounded tired. “Um, if this is a bad time…” she began

“No, what do you want, Briana?” “I need to see you and Gavin. It’s important, Dillon. Please?” “No, it’s not a good idea. Gavin is finally doing better. I don’t want to dredge it all up again.” “It’s important, Dillon. I wouldn’t put myself through this if it wasn’t.” “I’m hanging up, Briana.” The phone went dead. Briana sat down crying once again, but that was that. She’d tried. She concentrated on her job and doing her best. She realized she needed to go to the doctor and get prenatal care, but she hesitated since she didn’t have insurance. How was she going to pay for all of it? Finally, she set up an appointment with a free clinic for the next Thursday. She was between three and four months the best that she could figure. She’d never been regular. It was another reason she needed to see a doctor. She sighed and wrote in the appointment on her calendar, not that she was likely to forget. It was nearly quitting time. She’d worked some each weekend to account for any time she spent away from the computer, so she didn’t feel guilty about taking off and hour early today. It was Friday, and the weekend was ahead of her. She’d fill it with shopping and other errands. She wouldn’t give herself time to dwell on what-ifs. She did the laundry and put it away before calling it a day and heading for bed. She tossed and turned like most nights, but finally settled into sleep. Early the next morning someone was pounding on her door. She frowned. She didn’t know anyone other than the people from work. Why would they be banging on her door on a Saturday morning at only eight o’clock? She slipped a robe on and stepped into her house shoes. When she got to the door, she looked through the peephole and nearly passed out. It was Dillon and Gavin. She leaned her head against the door, trying to get her emotions under control. One of them banged against the door again, hurting her head.

Briana opened the door, and they stood on the threshold looking much like they always had before the breakup. “What do you want?” she asked in a tight voice. “You wanted to talk to us.” Gavin said. “That was before. This is now.” “We want to apologize. Can we come in?” Dillon asked, sounding contrite. She let out a deep breath and nodded, stepping aside. They walked in and looked around at her modest living area that joined into the open kitchen. “Can we sit down?” Dillon asked. “Sure. Make yourselves at home. Would you like some coffee?” She couldn’t believe she was being so polite, as if they were guests. They were her ex-lovers, for God’s sake. “I need to apologize for how I treated you, Briana,” Gavin began. “It’s okay. It’s water under the bridge. There’s nothing to forgive. You weren’t serious, and I was trying to make it into something it wasn’t.” She so didn’t want to rehash it all now. “No, it’s not. Because it’s not over,” Dillon said. Briana panicked. Had they found out she was pregnant? How? “Please, hear me out,” Gavin said, surprising her. She merely nodded her head. She couldn’t speak. If they knew, she wasn’t sure what that meant for her. “I pushed you away because I felt more for you than I had ever felt for another woman. You needed some kind assurance that you meant more to us than an affair, and I used that as an excuse to pick a fight. I’m sorry, Briana.” “I don’t understand why you’re telling me this now.” “I’m hoping you’ll give us another chance to show you how much we care about you.” Gavin swallowed and watched her intently. There was something in his eyes that had never been there before. Vulnerability. “How did you find out?” she finally asked with tears in her eyes.

“Find out what?” Dillon asked. “Don’t play games with me. You didn’t want anything to do with me a few weeks ago. Now all of a sudden you want to pick up our relationship where we left off? I’m not buying it. Somehow you found out I was pregnant.” She had to give it to them. They acted shocked well enough. Dillon’s mouth even hung open. “You’re sure?” Gavin asked in a strained voice. “Don’t try and make out like you didn’t know. I can’t believe you had a sudden change of heart after all this time.” “We didn’t know, Briana,” Dillon said in a small voice. His eyes had lit up, and he looked happy for a while. Then he sighed and dropped his head. “You don’t believe us. We honestly didn’t know. I swear to you,” he said. “How far along are you?” Gavin asked. “I’m not sure. Three or four months.” “You haven’t been to a doctor yet?” Dillon was appalled. “I just figured it out when I called you.” “You should have gone to one immediately to get on prenatal vitamins,” Gavin said. “I’m taking over-the-counter ones. The pharmacist assures me they are just as good as the prescription ones.” She felt like she had to defend herself. “It’s okay, baby. Calm down. It can’t be good for the baby,” Dillon said, flashing Gavin a stern look. “This is even more reason for you to give us a second chance, baby,” Gavin said. “No, it’s not. You’re just saying that because of the baby,” she said. He ran a hand through his hair and glared at Dillon. “You say something. Convince her we’re serious.”

Dillon let out a breath. “I can’t convince her if she thinks we already knew about the baby. How were we supposed to know, Briana? You haven’t been to a doctor for us to find out about it. Does anyone know you’re pregnant besides you?” “Well, no,” she admitted. “So how could we have known, Briana? Don’t you see? We came to see you because we want a chance to show you we’re serious about a relationship with you. An exclusive relationship.” “I don’t know. It’s been a long time. I’ve finally gotten past it all and started over. I’m doing well here.” She didn’t know what to do now. Her heart throbbed nearly out of her chest at the thought of starting over. Why had they changed their minds? What had happened to make Gavin drop his anger at her? “Please, baby. Give us a chance. We’ll make it up to you. You mean so much to us,” Gavin said. The emotion in his eyes convinced her it would be a good thing. Besides, there was the baby to consider. He or she deserved to know his or her dads. God, how was she going to explain that to him when he grew up? “Okay. I’ll give us a chance. I can’t promise anything.” Both men let out a breath and smiled. Gavin pulled her out of the chair she’d been sitting in and into his arms. Dillon walked around behind her and squeezed her shoulders. Then he put a hand down over her abdomen. She closed her eyes to hide her pain. Please don’t let this be a cruel joke, God. Gavin pulled back and kissed her all over her face. Then he stepped back and looked around. “Where’s the phone book?” “Why?” she asked confused. “The first thing we need to do is find a doctor and make an appointment for you.”

“I’ve already done that. I go next Thursday,” she said, a little annoyed at him. “Good, we’re going with you.” “Oh no. Definitely not. I go by myself.” “Not on your life. We want to be a part of our baby’s life. That starts now,” Gavin said, crossing his arms. “How am I going to explain two men wanting to be in on the exam?” “Doesn’t matter. There’s nothing he can do or say that’s going to stop us from being a part of this.” She looked over at Dillon who was usually the voice of reason. He grinned and shook his head. “I’m with Gavin on this. I want to be there.” Sighing, she hung her head. Dillon pulled her into his arms and kissed her nose. “I missed you so much, baby,” he said. “What am I going to do with the two of you?” “Well, next thing is we’re going to pack you up and move you to our house,” Gavin said, looking around. “Oh, no. I’m putting my foot down on that. I’m living here. We are not a family. We’re starting over. That means completely over.” Briana wasn’t budging on this. “Okay, okay. We’ll work around that for now,” Gavin said. Briana smothered a smile. He was trying. It was something. The old Gavin had been unbending. This Gavin was trying to compromise. Dillon must have had a very long and serious talk with him. “We’re taking you out to eat then,” Gavin insisted. “Um, it’s morning. I don’t eat much breakfast. Think we could try for lunch or dinner instead? I really need to dress.” Gavin smiled. “I kind of like you like you are, only minus the robe.”

“You would. Go home, you two. I have things to do today and need to get to them if I’m going to let you take me out to dinner tonight.” “Let us help you with your errands instead,” Dillon insisted. “That’s what we used to do. That’s starting over.” “You’re not getting me on that, Dillon,” she said with a smile. “Now go home and come back at six tonight.” They grumbled the entire way to the door. Both men insisted on a kiss. She presented her cheek, but they balked at that and got their way. The treated her to soul-searing kisses before they walked out the door. “Lock the door, Briana,” Gavin said. She smiled as she closed and locked the door. Then she felt faint and grabbed the chair to sit down before she fell down. She leaned over until the dizziness passed. They’d come back for her. They’d really come back. It was more than she could take in. She’d dreamed about it over and over again, but never believed it would ever come true. It’s not a profession of love, Briana. Stop and think this through. They haven’t said they love you. They admitted to caring about you. There’s a big difference there. But it’s a start. Briana stood up, feeling better now, and hurried through her errands for the day so she could come home and take a nice, relaxing bath before they showed up. She had a feeling they would be early. It would be just like them.

Chapter Ten Thursday arrived, and the three of them loaded up in the guys’ truck. She was surprised they had one. She guessed she thought they always rode their bikes. She was thankful not to have to drive. She gave Gavin the directions to the clinic, never dreaming he would blow a gasket at finding out where she was going. “No, absolutely not! You’re going to a real doctor, not some second-rate hack. We’ll find a better doctor for you.” “I can’t afford a doctor. I don’t have insurance.” She hated saying it, but it had to be said. “You don’t have to. We’re paying for it,” Dillon said, obviously on the same page as Gavin this time. “You’re bullying me,” she accused them. “Whatever it takes for you to see reason,” Gavin said. Instead of going to the doctor at the free clinic, they stopped off at a restaurant for an early dinner. Gavin wanted to discuss their situation over food. “You’ve lost weight. You need to be gaining weight. Have you been having morning sickness?” he asked. “More like any-time-of-day sickness.” She sighed. “See, you need to move in with us so we can take care of you,” Dillon said. They walked inside the restaurant and were immediately given a seat in the back of the building in a secluded spot. She had the feeling they’d been there before, and not alone. It irked her, but she couldn’t keep going back to that. She had to believe that was behind them, for now.

“What do you feel like eating, baby?” Gavin asked. “I’m not sure. I’m not really hungry.” “You’re eating something.” Dillon frowned. “The grilled-chicken salad then,” she said. “That’s not enough to keep you going with a baby,” Dillon fussed. “I can’t stomach much of what’s on here. The sauce on pasta upsets my stomach. I can’t even stand the sight of beef. Chicken is about it, and the salad gives me vegetables.” She defended her choice. “I guess you’re right.” Dillon still didn’t look pleased. They placed their order, and then Gavin got down to business. Briana steeled herself not to let him talk her into anything she didn’t want to do. “We’re paying for your health care, end of story,” he said. She didn’t fight him over that. Her baby deserved the best she could give it, so she would capitulate on this. “Fine. I won’t argue that point. I want my baby to have the best.” “Our baby. That’s another thing, it’s all of ours, and we want to be a part of all of the pregnancy.” “I know, sorry. I’ve just been thinking of it as my baby. I understand you want to be a part of his life.” “Which includes the pregnancy,” Dillon reiterated. “Fine.” She could give in to this, too. “To do that, you need to move in with us so we can be there for all the important things. Like when you feel it move and when it first starts kicking.” Gavin slipped that in almost without her realizing it. She frowned at him. “I’m not moving in with you.” “Then we’ll move in with you,” he said. “Absolutely not! I don’t have room for you. There’s only one bedroom.” Briana was astonished he’d even suggest such a thing. “We only need one bedroom. I want to feel the baby kick me awake at night. I want to rub your back when you can’t sleep.” Gavin was really getting into this.

Briana wasn’t sure what to think. They were coercing her. She knew it, and yet she couldn’t help but think about it. They argued a good case. “I’ll think about it.” Gavin grinned. He really grinned. She had never seen him smile that big before. It softened her heart toward him just a little. Could he have changed his mind? Maybe this wasn’t all just an act. Their meal came, and they ate mostly in silence. She stole glances at the men whenever she didn’t think they were looking. They looked as if they had lost weight as well. Had they been working anywhere, or were they in between jobs? She wanted to ask, but didn’t feel like she had the right. She was unsure that they could afford to help with her pregnancy, either. Still, she couldn’t pay for a nice ob-gyn by herself. When they had finished, Gavin settled the bill and Dillon escorted her out to the truck. He helped her up before climbing in beside her. Gavin climbed up on the other side and pulled out of the parking lot. She didn’t pay any attention to where they were going until she suddenly realized they weren’t heading to her apartment. “Where are we going? This isn’t where I live.” “We want to show you our house. It’s only fair that you see where you could be living,” Gavin said. “You live in this neighborhood?” she asked incredulously. The houses were huge and well kept. This was a gated community on top of that. Where had they gotten the money? Surely construction didn’t pay that well. “We got it for a song. It was a foreclosure and needed some work. We know our way around houses and wanted to make some changes anyway, so it worked out great.” Dillon explained how they’d altered the bedrooms and added bathrooms. “You’ll see.” Gavin parked the truck in the drive of a nice twostory house that looked much too nice for someone like her. “Come on,” Gavin said.

Dillon pulled her out of the truck and carried her up to the door. He transferred her to Gavin’s arms while he pulled out a key and unlocked the door. Gavin carried her over the threshold like a new bride. She immediately banished that wayward thought. “Put me down, Gavin. I can walk.” He carefully let her slide down his body much like he had in the past. She could feel his erection against her belly. It heated up her insides at the thought of all that male flesh. She swallowed and quickly turned around to look around. The entrance hall opened into a living room complete with a bigscreen TV and recliners, as well as a couch between them. There were shelves on either side of the TV filled with DVDs. She itched to go look at them, but refrained. They led her around into the kitchen. It was a large room with plenty of granite counter space and cabinets. The appliances were state of the art as well. She would love to cook in such a kitchen. She wondered about the men. Did they cook at all? She’d never found that out about them. There was a lot she didn’t know about them. From there, they showed her a walk-in pantry and a combination washroom and mudroom off the back door. Then they circled back around to where there was a large study that had a small desk and bookshelves only half full of books. It looked as if they spent very little time in there. “Let’s go upstairs and I’ll show you the changes we made,” Gavin said. He led her upstairs with Dillon behind her as if he would catch her should she trip and fall. He opened double doors to a master bedroom with a huge pedestal bed in the center of the room. There were two generous walk-in closets and a massive bathroom with a giant whirlpool bath big enough for three, and a walk-in shower, equally large. He drew her out of the bathroom to see the other bedrooms.

“Two of them have their own bathrooms. It’s where Dillon and I sleep. The other two share a bathroom.” He quickly showed them to her. “Well, what do you think?” Dillon asked. “It’s all beautiful. I mean, I never would have thought you would live somewhere like this. Not that I thought you would live in a dump or anything, just not a huge house.” “We knew one day we would want a family, and this was a good house for one,” Dillon said. It was a side of them she hadn’t seen before. They hadn’t let her see it. Why now? Because of the baby? Or would they have shown all of it to her anyway? She would doubt their actions from here on out, and that sucked. She wanted to believe it was all for her, but the baby was there between them. “See, you could be comfortable here. How far away do you work?” Dillon asked. “She doesn’t have to work at all, now. If she moves in here, there’s no rent or utilities for her to have to pay,” Gavin said. “I’m not giving up my job. I love my job.” She crossed her arms and stared him down. “Fine, you keep your job. Where is it? How far do you have to drive from here?” She sighed. “I only go in to the office every once in a while for meetings. I work out of my apartment.” Gavin grinned. There it was again. “Perfect. See, it would work great for you to work here. We don’t use the office at all. You can move in there with all your stuff.” “I haven’t agreed to moving. I need to think about it. You’re pushing me here.” Briana shook her head. “Come on. Let’s watch a movie, then if you insist, we’ll take you home,” Dillon said.

“Wait, first I want to call Cole and talk to Tina. She’s a nurse and works here in Dallas a lot. She’ll know a good doctor for you,” Gavin said. “Then they’ll know I’m pregnant,” she said in horror. “So? They’re going to know anyway in a few days. You don’t think we’re going to keep it a secret, do you?” Gavin asked. “I guess I wasn’t thinking about them knowing.” Briana felt her face heat up at the thought of their gang knowing she was pregnant. Gavin settled her on the couch then pulled out his phone and pressed a number. After a few seconds, Cole must have answered. “I need to speak to Tina about a doctor. No, I’m fine. Briana is pregnant and I want a good pregnancy doctor for her. Yeah, thanks.” After a few seconds, Tina must have gotten on the line. Briana cringed. “Hey, Tina. Look, do you know a really good doctor for Briana? She’s pregnant. Yeah, uh-huh. Okay, thanks. Yeah, I’ll tell her. Bye.” “Okay, she gave me the name of a good doctor for you. We’ll make an appointment tomorrow. Is there any time you can’t go?” he asked. “No. I can go just about any time. What were you supposed to tell me?” “Oh, she said if you have any questions or trouble to call her. She’d be glad to talk to you.” “That’s nice of her. She doesn’t really know me.” “Don’t worry. We’re going to change that,” Dillon said. “You’ll go with us to the meetings and parties we have. “I don’t know…” she began. “No ifs, ands, or buts, Briana. You’re a part of the family now,” Gavin said. “Just because of the baby,” she whispered. “Look, I really need to go home. I have a long day ahead of me. I need to get some sleep.” She knew they wouldn’t argue with her about needing sleep.

Gavin sighed and nodded. “Okay. You’re right. You need your sleep. We’ll watch a movie tomorrow night or Saturday.” The three of them climbed back in the truck with Dillon helping her up and strapping her in. They made it to her apartment in no time. She really wasn’t that far from them, which meant she wasn’t far from work, either. They helped her out of the truck, then walked her up to her apartment. “You really don’t need to be negotiating these stairs when you get a little bigger. You’ll be off balance. I’ll be scared you’ll fall,” Dillon said. “That’s enough, Dillon. You’re trying to influence my decision.” “That’s the plan,” he said with a mischievous grin. When they got to her apartment, she didn’t invite them in, much to their obvious dismay. They pulled her in for intimate kisses where tongues intertwined and teased along their mouth. She was almost dizzy by the time they had finished kissing her one right after the other. She held on to the door handle to keep her balance. “Lock the door, Briana,” Dillon reminded her. She nodded and closed the door and locked it. She rested her head against it and prayed for the strength to make the right decisions. Then she stood up straight and headed to bed. She would sleep on it. She had a lot to make up for with work tomorrow after missing out most of the afternoon. Once in bed, she relived the day and realized their house was much better equipped to handle a baby. She only had one room, and it was small. Fitting a baby bed in it was going to be tough. She sighed and willed herself to go to sleep. She needed to think about it some more.

Chapter Eleven “Man, a baby,” Dillon said for the millionth time. “It’s not like you haven’t known for over a week now,” Gavin said with a smirk. Dillon couldn’t wait to kiss her tummy and talk to their baby. Gavin would tease him unmercifully about it. He didn’t care. The baby was a part of them, and he wanted it to know his voice as well as Briana’s. Gavin should want the same thing. He was handling it surprisingly well, better than Dillon would have believed. “I know, but I’m still getting used to it. Can you imagine a little Briana running around the backyard? We need a swing set for her. We can build one for her. We can build a playhouse for her, too.” “I think you’re getting a little ahead of yourself, Dillon. Besides, it might be a boy, and we’ll need a fort instead.” “Good point.” Dillon grinned. “Briana looks thin and weak to me. What do you think, Dillon?” Gavin asked. “Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. She’s lost weight, and there are circles under her eyes like she’s not sleeping.” “If we can convince her to live with us, we can make sure she eats enough and help her sleep better. You know, rub her back, and massage her shoulders.” Gavin sighed. Dillon could tell that Gavin was frustrated that she hadn’t just given in to him. Plus, he was still struggling with his feelings for her. He loved her, Dillon was sure of it, but Gavin didn’t believe it yet. He would, though. Once they had Briana at home with them, he’d be

around her enough to admit to himself that he had fallen in love with her. Then, when he told her, she’d begin to trust them again. He dearly wanted them to be a family. The baby complicated things because she wasn’t sure how they really felt about her because of it, but he wouldn’t trade the baby for anything in the world. “I think we should have everyone over this weekend so she can get to know them better. Maybe grill out. It’s not too cool yet to sit outside,” Dillon said. “I don’t know. She almost freaked out over us calling Cole and Tina,” Gavin said. “She’ll be fine once they all get there and everyone starts talking. We won’t leave her alone to fend for herself. She needs to know she has a family she can depend on. She’s depended on only herself for so long.” Dillon wanted her to be happy, and having friends would help make that happen. “Well, let’s see how many would be able to make it first. If only a few can, we need to reschedule it for another weekend where they can all come.” Gavin still didn’t sound too sure about a cookout. “I think we need to get her a baby gift,” Dillon suggested. “Why do you say that?” “To let her know we’re happy about the baby.” Dillon needed Gavin to relax about the baby so Briana wouldn’t pick up on his nervousness. “If you say so. You can pick it out. I don’t have a clue.” “We’ll pick it out together. We’re in this together, Gavin.” He sighed. “Okay. You’re right. I just don’t know what to do.” “Oh, another thing we need to get is a baby book. One that tells all about pregnancy. That way we will know what to expect and how to take care of her.” “That’s a good idea,” Gavin agreed. “We can go over it with her and find out together. Maybe that will help us convince her we mean business.” “It’s a start,” Dillon said.

“How are we going to convince her to let us in her bed?” Gavin asked. “I want to sleep with her. Not sex so much right now, but hold her at night while she falls asleep. I miss that.” Dillon realized that Gavin was sharing a side he hadn’t let on to before. It gave him hope. “If she moves in, we’ll just assume and do it. She’ll balk until we point out that we want to be a part of the baby’s maturation and that we aren’t demanding sex.” “Unless she wants it,” Gavin said with a smile. Dillon rolled his eyes. He should have known that Gavin would have a one-track mind. But he could tell he was serious about wanting to hold her when she fell asleep. He probably missed waking up to her draped over his chest. It was funny. She started out cuddled up to him, but would always end up on top of Gavin the next morning. He chuckled. She wouldn’t be able to climb on top of him later in her pregnancy. He could hardly wait to see what she would do instead. “Let’s make some calls,” Gavin said. “Man, it’s ten o’clock at night. You’ll wake them up.” “Naw, they’ll all be up. I might interrupt something between Cole, Zack, and Tina or West, Kyle, and Brandy. “You’re shameless.” Dillon pulled out his phone and started dialing numbers. Gavin went into the other room to call his group. They each always had a certain set of people they called in cases like this. It prevented them calling the same people. By eleven, they had everyone accounted for and planning to come around three Saturday afternoon. Each of them would bring something to add to the table. Gavin and Dillon would provide the meat for the cookout. Hamburgers and hotdogs would be the meat for the meal. Then he thought about Briana and decided they would grill a few pieces of chicken for her.

“So, it’s all settled,” Gavin said. “Maybe we can convince her to spend Saturday night with us because it will be so late.” “Maybe. I don’t know, though. She’s pretty set in her ways right now.” “Can’t hurt to try,” Gavin insisted. “Let’s hit the bed. We’ve got a lot to do tomorrow to prepare for Saturday. Plus, I want to go see her tomorrow night.” “Absolutely,” Gavin agreed. With that, the two of them climbed the stairs and went to their respective rooms. Dillon lay in bed for another hour contemplating ways to get Briana to accept them as a family. So far, he hadn’t come up with the perfect plan, but he was working on it. **** Friday around five, there was a knock at Briana’s door. She had a pretty good idea who it was. She was right. It was Gavin and Dillon, she noted, looking through the peephole. She unlocked the door and let them in. Dillon pulled her into his arms and kissed her. Gavin took her from Dillon’s arms and kissed her deeper. She told herself that the only reason they got away with it was because she wasn’t expecting it. “How are you feeling, baby?” Dillon asked. “I’m fine. Tired, but that’s nothing new. I don’t sleep well at night.” “You used to sleep just fine with us,” Gavin said. “I was just about to make a sandwich. Do you want one?” she asked, turning to walk into the kitchen. Dillon grabbed her wrist and pulled her back into his arms. “Nope, and neither do you. You need to eat better. We’re taking you out to eat.”
96
Marla Monroe
“I don’t want to go out to eat. I want a sandwich,” she fussed, frowning at them. No way was she going to let them dictate her life. “We’ve been reading up on pregnancy, and you’re not eating right. Oh, and we got your appointment for next Tuesday at three. We figured you would want it in the afternoon since you had made the other one for the afternoon.” Gavin looked pleased with himself. “You bought a pregnancy book and have been reading it?” She couldn’t believe they had gone to such lengths. “Well, yeah. We want to be sure you have everything you need to be healthy,” Gavin said defensively. “I am healthy.” The idea that she wasn’t irked her. “Baby, you’re not eating like you need to. You’ve lost weight, not gained it. It’s not healthy for you not to be sleeping, either,” Dillon pointed out. Briana didn’t know what to say to that. Technically, they were right, but she was trying. They couldn’t make her do any better than she was trying to do. Or so she thought. They carried her out to the truck and buckled her in. Then they drove to a restaurant and soon had her sequestered in a round booth with them on either side of her so she couldn’t escape even if she wanted to. Right now, she was enjoying their body heat too much. Despite not being sure how they really felt, she knew how she felt, and sitting next to them was better than great. How was she ever going to resist them? “So, what looks good to you, baby?” Dillon asked. “Maybe the grilled chicken and the seasonal vegetables.” She knew she couldn’t handle red meat of any kind. She wasn’t sure about the fish yet. “Sounds good.” Gavin ordered for them both and Dillon for himself. “How do you like your job?” Dillon asked.

“I love it. Working from home will be great, having a baby to take care of. I’ll have full benefits in another month. It just won’t cover the baby until he’s born.” They brought the salads out, and everyone grew silent while they ate. Briana ate most of hers, but knew she needed to eat some of her chicken and she was beginning to get full, so she stopped. “You left some of your salad, baby,” Gavin observed. “I need to eat some of my meat, and I’m getting full.” “You need to eat all of your meat,” Dillon added. “Look, guys. I know you mean well, but nagging me is only going to piss me off.” Both men looked contrite, but she had a feeling the nagging was nowhere near over with. They were too stubborn to give up that easily. When the main dishes appeared, Briana’s stomach rebelled at the sight of their medium-rare steaks. She tried not looking and cut up her chicken. It helped, but she wasn’t sure she would be able to eat anything but her vegetables. She concentrated on them in hopes they would finish their meat quickly. “You’re not eating your chicken, baby,” Dillon observed. “Is something wrong with it?” Gavin asked. “No, it’s fine. I wanted my vegetables first, that’s all.” She hated lying but didn’t want to make them feel bad. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise her for them to send their plates away without eating if they knew the truth. She would be totally embarrassed if they did that. Finally, they seemed to be finished. She waited while the waitress took away their plates and brought out coffee. Then she took a tiny bite of her chicken. It went down okay. She took another bite and managed two more before her stomach began to fuss. “This was really good, but I need something to carry the rest of the chicken home for later. I’m full.”
98
Marla Monroe
“Briana, you barely touched your chicken. Was something wrong with it?” Gavin’s expression said he was worried. “No, it was fine. I just filled up on salad and vegetables. I’ll eat the rest of the chicken for a snack.” “Why did you fill up on them instead of eating your chicken?” Dillon asked with a speculative look on in his eyes. “I wanted the vegetables. They were really good. I need vegetables.” “I think the steaks made you sick, didn’t they?” Dillon asked. Gavin’s mouth opened, and then he slammed it shut. Briana knew what he had been going to say. Why hadn’t she said anything? “I didn’t want to ruin your meals. I can’t help it, but red meat really bothers me right now. I do okay if it’s cooked really good, but anything other than well done turns my stomach.” She sighed and looked down at her hands where she was wringing them under the table. Each man took a hand in his and squeezed it. “You should have said something, baby,” Gavin told her in a quiet voice. “We could have eaten something else. It wouldn’t have killed us.” “But it wouldn’t have been what you wanted.” “So you ate what you didn’t want or need instead of the chicken. That’s not acceptable, Briana. You’re eating for two now. You’ve got to keep your strength up, and that means eating protein.” Gavin brought her hand to his mouth. He kissed it after sliding his tongue across her knuckles. Briana shivered. He knew how to make her crazy. It wasn’t fair that he was using it on her. She was vulnerable to their actions. She couldn’t help her body’s reaction to them. It betrayed her every time they were around. Gavin signaled for the waitress and asked for a doggy bag and the check. Once everything had been taken care of, they escorted her out the door and back to the truck. She was relieved to see that they were carrying her back to her apartment. She’d been scared they would

insist she come to their house. On their home turf, they could seduce her much more easily than in her home. They walked inside even though she had tried to say good night to them at the door. Needless to say, it hadn’t worked. They made themselves at home and made coffee. When it was ready, they poured two cups then rummaged in her refrigerator. Gavin poured a glass of milk and handed it to her while they sipped on coffee. “I wanted coffee.” She pouted, seeing that there wasn’t any left in the pot. “Caffeine isn’t good for you when you’re pregnant,” Gavin said. “It’s good for me. I like coffee.” Fussing didn’t seem to budge them. Well, fine. When they left, she would fix her own cup of coffee. She drank the milk like an errant child, and pouted. “Everyone is coming over tomorrow afternoon for a cookout. We want you to get used to being around them. You’re part of the family so you need to know who they are. You can count on them if we’re not around for some reason.” Gavin sipped his coffee while he sat back on the couch. “I don’t know. I tend to get nervous around a lot of people. I never was comfortable when the store was crowded.” “Yeah, well. Considering the type of clientele you had, it’s no wonder they made you nervous. It won’t be the same with the guys. Besides, it won’t be all guys. Brandy and Tina will both be there. You’ll like both of them.” Gavin seemed sure of this. “Really, thanks, but I don’t think it would be a good idea. I still get sick at the oddest times,” she said. “Don’t worry about it. If you get sick, either Dillon or I or both of us will help you. It’s what we’re around for. To help you,” Gavin said, sitting his empty cup on the coaster on the coffee table. He turned on the couch to face her. “Why don’t you pack a bag and come stay with us tonight? You can stay in bed as late as you want to and then you’ll already be there

for the party. It won’t start till around three or so. We’ll start grilling out around five.” Gavin squeezed her hand. “Say you’ll stay, Briana,” Dillon said, nearly begging. “I don’t think it’s a good idea. Either staying overnight with the two of you or going to this cookout you’re having,” she said. “Why not?” Gavin demanded. If she didn’t know any better, Briana would say he looked stricken that she didn’t want to stay with them. What had happened to the Gavin she had known that was quiet and intense? She missed him a little bit. She’d felt safe with him. She’d felt naughty with him. “You’ll read too much into it. I’m not living with the two of you. I have my own life now. I like it.” “We want you to be part of ours, Briana,” Dillon insisted. “And I can be like I am.” “What are you going to do if you go into labor here alone? By the time you call us you could have delivered. You’ll need help when the baby comes, at least at first.” Gavin wasn’t pulling any punches now. “I still have plenty of time to worry about that,” she said feebly. “It’s just one night, Briana.” Dillon was still trying to get her to say yes. God, if she said yes to this, she might never make it back to the apartment. They could be very persuasive if they used sex, and she had no doubt they would get to that eventually. They were very sexual beings. “Come on, let’s pack you a small bag for overnight,” Dillon said, standing up. “What?” She must have missed something. “If I pack it, I’ll make it for several days. You can pack it and you can dictate how many nights you’re staying. Personally, I think you should stay at least until your doctor’s appointment.” “I can’t. I have to work and all my stuff is here.” What was going on?

Dillon pulled her to her feet and, with a hand at the small of her back, led her to the bedroom. It was a tiny bedroom with a regularsize bed in it and a dresser. There wasn’t room for anything else, including a nightstand. To his credit, Dillon didn’t say anything. He just opened her small closet and looked in it, presumably for an overnight bag. “I don’t have one. I’ve never needed one before,” she confessed. “That’s okay. We’ll figure something out.” “I don’t believe I agreed to going with you,” she said, furrowing her brows. “Yes, you did.” Briana shook her head and sighed. She reached into the closet and pulled out a shopping bag. Dillon opened his mouth then closed it. Obviously he knew better than to say anything. She gathered enough clothes for one night and then grabbed what she would need from the bathroom. “Okay, this is it.” She said holding up the bag. Dillon immediately took it from her. He carried it and escorted her back into the living area where Gavin was washing up their cups and the coffeemaker. He looked up. “You ready to go?” “All packed and ready,” Dillon assured him. “Can you think of anything else you need, baby?” Gavin asked as he dried his hands on a towel. “Maybe a brain would help. I must have lost mine somewhere to agree to stay with you tonight.” Both men grinned as if they had a secret. She frowned at them, wondering what they were smiling about. They were probably smiling because they had tricked her into going with them.

Chapter Twelve As soon as Dillon put her shopping bag of things on the bed in the master suite, she knew she was in trouble. There was no way she would be sleeping alone in that big bed. Her heart sank. If only she could believe they really wanted her and not just the baby. If only she could hear them say they loved her. “Why don’t you unpack the bag and get ready for bed? We’re going to go look over some things business wise and will come up and say good night in a little while,” Gavin said. Briana eyed them warily. Something was up. She was sure of it. They wouldn’t be this accommodating otherwise. “Feel free to enjoy the whirlpool tub. I’m sure you could use a nice, relaxing bath. There are bath salts in the jar on the ledge.” They turned and walked out, closing the door behind them. She sighed and emptied her shopping bag of her things and put them away so they wouldn’t be in plain view. Then she shut herself in the luxurious bathroom and turned the water on in the whirlpool tub. She lifted the lid to the bath salts and frowned. They smelled like hers. They had gotten them just for her. It twisted her heart just a little to know they had done something so personal for her. She sprinkled the salts into the churning water then waited for the tub to fill. As soon as it had, she turned off the water and slipped into the tub. She wasn’t sure if turning on the jets was a good idea with her being pregnant. She knew there were some things not recommended for pregnant women. She would have to ask the doctor. She sighed. She should have gotten a pregnancy book herself, but she had been waiting for another paycheck before she bought anything like that.

Now she felt guilty. Tears blurred her vision for a few seconds until a solitary tear ran down her face. She brushed it aside and willed herself not to get emotional. There was a bath pillow on the ledge behind the tub. She reached for it and laid it against the back of the porcelain and leaned into it. It felt so good to just relax in the warm water. She was sure she was dozing when she thought about the guys in the tub with her. They massaged her feet and legs and gently rubbed her belly as if massaging the baby as well. Somewhere in her dreams, they were a happy family. “Baby, you’re going to turn into a prune. You’ve been in the tub for at least an hour,” Dillon said. Briana startled and nearly slipped under the water. Gavin grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her back up. “Easy, Briana. You’re going to drown yourself.” Gavin reached beneath her arms and hauled her up until she was standing. He didn’t let go of her though. He kept a steadying hand on her until Dillon returned with a towel. “Let’s get you out of the tub and dried off, baby.” Gavin helped her step over the edge and to the floor. “You scared the hell out of me,” she accused them. “Sorry. I thought you heard us knock on the door. When you didn’t answer, we came on in.” Dillon helped Gavin dry her off before Gavin picked her up. He carried her into the bedroom, and Dillon hurried ahead to pull back the covers on the bed. Gavin laid her down as close to the middle as he could reach. “Wait,” she said. “What?” Gavin asked, looking puzzled. “My sleeping clothes. They’re in the top drawer of the dresser,” she told them.

Dillon walked over to the drawer and pulled out the old ratty Tshirt and pair of boy-shorts underwear she liked to sleep in. He looked over at Gavin who shook his head. “No way you’re sleeping in that. You don’t need to sleep in anything, baby. Just cover up and go to sleep.” Gavin pulled the covers over her and tucked them beneath her chin. He kissed her softly on the lips. “Good night, baby.” Dillon kissed her as well, but he also laid a hand over her belly and smiled. Then he took her sleeping things out the door with him. Gavin shut the door, and she was alone in the dark. **** The dream seemed so real. Her men were kissing her all over her body. They worshiped her with their hands and their mouths. Dillon sucked on one breast while Gavin took the other. They tickled and teased her nipples until she was writhing between them. They both worked their way down her body to her abdomen where they covered her belly with kisses. When Gavin continued on to settle between her legs and licked her pussy, Briana came fully awake. “What in the hell are you all doing?” She gasped. Gavin took that opportunity to lick over her clit then back down between her pussy lips again. “Making love to you, baby,” Dillon said, then continued his assault of her breasts. “Did you sleep in here with me?” she asked, trying to scoot away from Gavin’s talented tongue, though only halfheartedly. “Not all night, baby. We let you sleep till around one this morning, and then we couldn’t take it any longer and climbed in bed with you,” Dillon explained. “Oh, God. Gavin. You have to stop. You can’t do this.” Briana was going crazy inside.

On one hand she wanted them to stop because she wasn’t going to get back involved with them. On the other hand, she wanted them never to stop because she loved them and always would. He didn’t stop. Instead he seduced her with his tongue and fingers. He brought her to a screaming orgasm when he latched on to her clit and curled his fingers inside of her to stroke her G-spot. With Dillon stimulating her breasts, she didn’t have a chance at pulling away from them. As they gently brought her down from the heights of bliss, she felt the tears slide from her eyes. Why couldn’t they love her back? “What is it, baby?” Dillon asked “Did we hurt you?” “No, I’m just emotional.” It was the truth in theory. “The book said she would be,” Gavin confirmed. They cuddled up to her on either side of her. She had expected they would want their turn now, but they seemed to be content just to hold her. It confused her. Then she thought about the fact that she hadn’t been to a doctor yet. They were probably just waiting for the okay from a doctor that it was safe for her to have intercourse. If only they loved her. “I don’t think she’s going back to sleep, Gavin.” Dillon’s voice sounded sleepy on the other side of her. “Told you we were getting her up too early,” Gavin said. “Briana, are you ready to get up, or do you just want to lay here for a while?” “I’m just going to stay in bed for a while. You two can get up if you need to. I’m not ready to just yet. What time is it anyway?” she asked. “Hmm, seven,” Dillon said. “Are you hungry? I’ll fix you something to eat and bring it up here,” Gavin suggested. “Thanks, that’s really sweet of you, but I’m not hungry right now. Maybe when I get up I’ll be hungry.” The men turned over, and each laid a hand on her belly at different places. If things were different, she would be thrilled at their attention to her pregnancy, but they weren’t different. She sniffed and
106

closed her eyes, praying she could go to sleep for a little while longer. Unfortunately, He wasn’t answering her prayers today. Finally, she struggled to a sitting position until the men woke up and helped her. “I’m getting up. Feel free to sleep in.” She was angry now, angry at them for treating her so nicely and angry at herself for letting them. She had promised herself to hold out for love and nothing less than love, but she’d caved at the first touch of their hands and mouths. They had been seducing her ever since that first kiss. Deep down, she had known it, but stubbornly refused to acknowledge it. Now she was in over her head. She loved them and wanted them any way she could have them, even if it meant living with them without their love. And what is going to happen when they actually fall in love with someone else? Then where will you and your baby be? They would never abandon their child, but she would be passed over as their child’s mother and not their anything. Could she risk it for a few weeks or months of happiness? Was it better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all? She would give anything for her baby, but… “Easy, baby. Let us help you up.” Gavin scrambled out of the bed and scooped her up in his arms before letting her down to stand on her own. He held a hand on her shoulder until he was sure she could stand up without falling. Dillon got out on the other side of the bed. He padded around to stare at her. “You look mad, Briana. Why? Were we keeping you awake?” She huffed out a breath. What was she going to say? “No, you weren’t keeping me awake. I’m just angry at this entire situation.” She pulled away from Gavin and walked over to the dresser where she pulled out her clothes for the day. “What do you mean?” Gavin asked in a neutral voice.
Her Biker Bodyguards

“You claim you didn’t know about the baby, and I guess I believe you because I hadn’t told anyone, unless you guessed it when I called you.” She paused, thinking it over. It was a possibility. “I never asked you for a promise of marriage. I just asked for fidelity while we were seeing each other. It was a responsible thing for me to do. In today’s world of diseases, you’re stupid if you don’t.” She pulled on her panties and then her jeans. She jumped up and down, trying to get them on over her belly. “But now you’re telling me that you really do care for me and want to take it to the next level and live together. Why the sudden change of heart after all this time? What happened to make you change your mind?” Briana finally managed to get the jeans fastened with a lot of effort and breath holding. The damn things were baggy in the ass and legs, but tight around her belly. It didn’t make sense. Tears threatened to fall again. She gritted her teeth and grabbed her socks and shoes. She walked over to the chair and dropped them all on the floor in front of it. Dillon walked over and gently pushed her down on the chair, then knelt and started putting on her socks and shoes for her. He looked up at her with a sadness in his expression that squeezed her heart. “We were stupid, Briana.” He looked over at Gavin as if telling him to say something. Gavin sighed and walked over to kneel in front of her next to Dillon. “I was scared, baby. I’ve never cared about another woman like I care about you. When you asked me to promise that I wouldn’t see other women while we were seeing you, I panicked and lashed out at you. I’m sorry. I wish I could take it all back, but I can’t.” He took both her hands in his and kissed her knuckles. Then he leaned in and kissed her jean-clad belly. “Just give us a chance to show you how important you are to us. We want to be a family, Briana. The four of us. Me, you, Dillon, and the baby.”
108

“And what if there were no baby, Gavin? What then?” He looked stricken but continued holding her hands. “Then it would be the three of us. We’d still be a family.” Dillon had finished putting on her socks and shoes and was waiting on her and Gavin to decide where to go from there. Briana looked at Dillon and asked the same question of him with her eyes. “I love you, Briana. With or without a baby, I’m still going to love you.” Her heart swelled at his admission. The moment would have been perfect if Gavin had said the same thing, but she knew he probably never would. He was a hard man with different values. Love, evidently, wasn’t one of them. Could she live with half of their love? Briana pulled her hands from Gavin’s and rubbed her face in an effort to shove some answers into her head. “Look, let’s go one day at a time for right now. I need a little space. It would probably be a good thing for the two of you to get dressed.” They looked at each other and then at themselves and grinned. “Good idea,” Dillon said. He stood up and kissed her on the top of the head. Gavin stood up and kissed her on the lips. “Make yourself at home. There’s plenty of juice and milk in the kitchen.” He started walking off. “Oh, and decaf coffee if you want coffee. Decaf only, though.” She waited until they had walked out of the room to stick her tongue out at them. Then she stood up and rubbed a hand over her belly. The jeans really were too tight for her. She would have to go shopping soon. That would eat at her dwindling savings account. Still, it couldn’t be helped. She needed to pick up on her web work to get into the bonus money they promised her. The more websites she worked on, the more money she got. As long as her work was up to par, they paid out for quantity as well as quality. She needed to be working today and

tomorrow instead of attending this cookout to meet Gavin and Dillon’s friends. She really didn’t want to get to know them. It would be more people she would lose when they dropped her. She was no fool. Dillon said he loved her, but he wore his heart on his sleeve and probably fell in love with everyone he was with. It was just who he was. Gavin, on the other hand, would fall in love for life if he ever let himself take the plunge. How she wished it would be with her. She dropped that idea like a hot potato and concentrated on finding the kitchen in the rather large house. She located it without getting lost and poured a glass of juice before searching for the coffee. She couldn’t find the real coffee, so she made a cup of decaf and suffered through it. It just wasn’t the same. “I see you found the coffee,” Dillon said. She eyed him with evil intent. He took a step back. “Where did you hide the real coffee?” He relaxed and grinned. “You’ll never find it. Now, what would you like to eat?” “I’m really not hungry. I never am in the mornings. Food isn’t appetizing then. I usually eat at lunch.” “The baby books say you need four or five small meals a day, Briana. You can’t skip breakfast. How about toast and jelly?” “She needs more than that, Dillon,” Gavin said when he walked into the kitchen. “I’ll fix eggs for her.” “How about I eat a piece of toast and jelly and drink a glass of milk for protein. I don’t think I can keep anything else down right now.” She dared either brother to contradict her. Evidently they recognized determination when they saw it because they backed down and didn’t push anymore. Round one went to Briana.

Chapter Thirteen Their friends began coming over at three that afternoon bringing food and beer in coolers. She remembered Cole and Zack and Tina. The other woman was gorgeous with all her auburn hair. She was also very nice. Then she met Kyle, West, and Brandy. They were the only other married couple there. The rest were all single and hadn’t brought dates with them. Ranger and Drew were familiar to her from Round Rock, but she couldn’t remember Shane, Neal, Alan, or Mark. “What do you think about The Dirty Dozen now that you’ve met them all?” Gavin asked. “They’re all really nice. You have great friends,” Briana assured him. Dillon appeared with a glass of something in his hand. He handed it to her. “What’s this?” she asked. “Apple juice. I figured you might need something to drink after talking to everyone that’s come in.” “Thanks, I guess I am pretty thirsty.” She eyed everyone else holding a beer and sighed. She wasn’t a drunk, but she liked beer with grilled food and pizza. Then a sickening thought hit her. They were grilling out hamburgers and hotdogs. She knew she couldn’t eat either one of those. “What is it, baby?” Dillon asked, standing in front of her. He put his hands on her shoulders and looked her in the eyes. She was sure no one could see her around him.

“I, um, can’t eat what you’re cooking tonight. I’m sorry.” She looked pleadingly at him. “Baby, we knew you wouldn’t be able to, so we have chicken breast for you. Will that be okay?” He smiled at her. She let out a sigh and closed her eyes for a brief second. “That will be great. Thanks for thinking about it.” “All the meat is going to be cooked well done. Will it bother you to be around it while they are eating? I know you couldn’t eat your chicken the other night because we had the steak.” Dillon’s perceptiveness amazed her. “No, I should be fine. I’m sorry for being so much trouble, Dillon.” “You’re not any trouble. Come on. Let’s go talk to Brandy and Kyle. West is talking with Cole, Zack, and Gavin.” When time came to eat, she found herself with Brandy and Tina eating inside away from the mosquitoes, while the men all gathered he-man-style outside. “How are you feeling?” Tina asked her. “I’m doing fine. I don’t have much of an appetite, and that’s driving the guys crazy.” “You’re far enough along I would think that it should be picking back up. When do you see the doctor?” “Tuesday afternoon.” Briana took a small bite of her grilled chicken. “Have you tried eating a lot of small meals?” Brandy asked. “Yeah. I still end up eating about the same amount, just spread out.” “Well, the doctor should be able to offer some advice to help you,” Tina assured her. They talked about the men and how they were committed to only taking jobs close around Dallas now. Brandy was glad. She didn’t like it when they were gone weeks at a time. She didn’t like being by

herself, but hated being all alone at the hotel when she went with them. “If they take jobs around here, they can either stay at home, or at least come home on the weekends,” Brandy said. “I would think they would need to go where the money is,” Briana said. “They don’t need the money. They’ve all invested their money and could probably retire if they really wanted to. They just like working with their hands too much to stop right now.” Tina shook her head. “They love construction for some reason.” “Kyle says it’s because it is building something instead of blowing it up or tearing it down,” Brandy explained. “I guess all the time they spent in the army shaped their views on things.” Tina got up with her empty plate. “Anyone else through?” Tina shook her head. “I’m still eating. This potato salad is delicious.” “Briana? You still have a lot on your plate, hon.” She had been handing hers to Tina but lowered it again. “I just can’t eat a lot at one time.” “Well, come on and we’ll put it up for later.” They searched through the kitchen until they found some aluminum foil to cover her plate with. Then they put it in the fridge. “Now you can eat it later tonight when you’re hungry again.” “You didn’t eat all your food?” Gavin asked as he walked into the kitchen. “I ate all I could, but I’ll get hungry again later.” Briana used Tina’s words to ward him off of lecturing her. His eyebrow went up as he shook his head. “I’m going to hold you to that.” He wrapped her in his arms. Dillon walked in and shook his head. “I’m always the last one in on the hugging.” Tina laughed. “What are Cole and Zack doing?”

“They were talking with Shane and Alan about something,” Dillon told her. “I guess I’m going to go interrupt them. We should probably be going soon.” “Hey, it’s not even ten o’clock yet,” Gavin pointed out. “Yeah, but you need to get her to bed early or she’s going to fall asleep on her feet.” “I’m fine. I’m not all that sleepy.” Briana yawned, and everyone laughed. She hated being laughed at. She frowned and pulled out of Gavin’s arms. “Come on, baby. Let’s go say good night to everyone. If Cole and Zack leave, they’ll all take it as time to leave,” Gavin said, taking her hand. Dillon grabbed her other hand and took her around to everyone. She apologized for leaving the party early, but she was sleepy. She made sure her eyes promised Gavin and Dillon retribution later. They seemed to take it in stride. Once she’d made the rounds, Briana started to head upstairs. It was obvious she was going to be spending the night again tonight. “Dillon, go with her and help her get settled.” Gavin pulled her into his arms and kissed her. His tongue licked along the outside of her lips until she opened them and he could rub against hers. Then he sucked on hers before pulling back. “I’ll see you in a little while, baby.” Dillon took her hand and led her to the stairs and then the bedroom. He closed the double doors and smiled. “I’ve got you all to myself.” Briana frowned and backed away. “So?” “So, I can have my wicked way with you.” “Um, I’m sleepy, Dillon.” She grasped the excuse in hopes it would deter him.
114

“Now you confess you’re sleepy.” He grinned at her and winked. “Asshole.” She started to pull her T-shirt over her head, but Dillon was there and pulling it off for her. Then his deft hands made short work of her bra. “Come on and sit in the chair so I can get your shoes off.” “I can take my own clothes off, Dillon. You don’t have to undress me.” “I like undressing you, Briana. I like watching each piece of your gorgeous body appear before me.” “I don’t see my feet being gorgeous,” she said dryly “Believe me. They are.” He pulled off her shoes then her socks as soon as she sat down. Then he pulled a foot into his lap and massaged it for her. He did the same thing to the other one. He got up and pulled her to her feet before unfastening her jeans. “Hmmm, they’re tight across your belly. That can’t be comfortable. He pulled them down and frowned. “They’re baggy everywhere else.” “Save the fashion critique, Dillon. I know I’m gaining weight.” Briana stepped out of the jeans and jerked them out of his hands. “That’s just it, Briana. You aren’t gaining weight. You’ve lost weight. I can tell when I pick you up. Remember, I know what you felt like before you got pregnant. You’ve lost weight.” “I don’t feel like I’ve lost weight. I think it’s just redistributed, is all.” She walked into the bathroom and closed the door behind her, but Dillon opened it back up. “Hey, I deserve some privacy.” “First, promise me you won’t get in the shower or the tub without one of us to help you in and out.” “You’re serious.” “Dead serious. We don’t want you to fall and hurt yourself.” Dillon crossed his arms and stood there in the doorway.

“Fine. I won’t get in or out of either the tub or shower without help. Satisfied?” He smiled and left her alone in the bathroom. She smothered the urge to scream and took care of her needs before turning on the shower and pulling off her panties. She opened the bathroom door to find Dillon standing right outside. Her face colored at the thought of him hearing her in the bathroom. “Ready for the shower?” he asked. “Yeah.” She headed back to it and was about to step in when Dillon stopped her with a hand on her shoulder. “Wait while I get undressed. You’re not getting in there alone. The tub is one thing, but standing up in the shower is another.” Dillon began pulling off his clothes. “I don’t believe this. You’re going to shower with me so I won’t fall? I’m not going to fall, Dillon!” “And I’m not going to take the chance. Now wait while I finish undressing, or I’ll spank your ass.” Briana felt like screaming. If there hadn’t have been others in the house, she probably would have done it. Instead she crossed her arms and waited for Dillon to finish undressing. “Okay, baby. Let’s get you cleaned up.” He helped her in the shower and handed her the bath cloth. He took another one and began soaping it up. She presumed to bathe himself, but he began washing her back. She started and slipped. He grabbed her. “Easy there. See, you need help in the shower.” “You scared me. I wasn’t expecting you to touch me like that.” “Briana, we need to get you used to being touched by us. We plan to touch you a lot, baby.” Briana ignored that comment and concentrated instead on bathing so she could get out of the shower and into bed. As much as she hated to admit it, she really was dead on her feet. The added excitement of visiting with all of those people had drained her.
116

Dillon continued bathing her back and buttocks then continued down her legs. When he finished, he turned her around to rinse off. She’d gotten most of her front, but had stopped at her legs. He knelt down in the shower and took care of those for her. When he looked up at her she could see heat in his eyes. He buried his face in her pussy and groaned. “Please let me taste your sweet pussy, baby. I promise I’ll make you feel good. I just really need a taste if nothing else.” He ran his hands lightly up and down her thighs. “Dillon,” she whispered, because she couldn’t do anything else. His touch was turning her on. He took that as a yes and spread her pussy lips before burying his tongue between them. She grabbed his head in an effort to stay upright. He seemed to realize she was going to have trouble standing because he pulled away and stood up. “I’m going to dry you off and get you to bed, baby. I don’t want you to fall because I’m going to eat your tasty pussy until you come.” Dillon stood up, reaching around her to turn off the water. He helped her step out of the shower and dried her off with a large, fluffy towel. After drying himself off, he picked her up and carried her to the bed. Once he had her settled there, he climbed up between her legs and, once again, buried his face there and licked her from top to bottom. He licked all around her pussy lips then sucked them into his mouth and teased them with his tongue. He tongued around her clit, forming large circles without touching the little button. Frustration had her moving her pelvis to try and follow his tongue. All that she gained was the exercise it took to do it. She moaned in frustration. “Easy, baby. I’ll take care of you. I want that sweet honey now, though.” He stimulated her cunt with two fingers and continued to lap at her juices as they flowed. When he rasped over her sweet spot with his fingers, she gasped and clamped down on them. He chuckled and wiggled them inside of

her. She nearly went off right then and there as his fingers rubbed back and forth over that spot. “Please, Dillon. I can’t stand it anymore.” “Come for me, baby. Give me more of your sweet cream.” He sucked in her clit while stroking her G-spot until she had to bite her hand to keep from screaming. He licked her pussy as she came down, pulling his fingers from her cunt. “There you go, baby. You should sleep fine now.” He climbed into bed and pulled her into his arms. She could feel his stiff cock rubbing against her thigh. If she hadn’t been so tired, she would have asked him why he hadn’t fucked her, but sleep soon put a stop to her naughty thoughts. **** Dillon lay there holding Briana close to him, wishing she had already been to the doctor. He desperately wanted to fuck her sweet pussy, but he and Gavin had agreed that until they got the okay from the doctor, no actual sex. It was going to kill him, he was sure. Twenty minutes later, Gavin walked in and shook his head with a frown. “I thought we agreed, no sex, Dillon,” he whispered. “Didn’t happen. I went down on her and had myself a yummy treat, but that was it.” “Well, you certainly wore her out,” Gavin said as he undressed. “I’m going to jump in the shower. I’ll be right back.” Dillon nodded and snuggled closer to Briana’s neck. When Gavin got in bed, he’d lose his place. He didn’t mind. She just gravitated to him in her sleep for some reason. He inhaled her scent and held it inside him for a few seconds before letting it out again. She always smelled so fresh. Even before she’d had the shower, she smelled like spring to him. He twirled a lock of hair around his finger as he waited for Gavin to finish in the

shower. He wanted to know what, if anything, Cole might have said about working again. He didn’t want to leave Briana alone right now. Their hold on her was precarious at best. “She still sleeping sound?” Gavin padded into the bedroom, still drying off with a towel as he walked toward the bed. “Yeah. She was already worn out from the party, and the oral sex just topped it all off. She’ll be asleep for the rest of the night.” Dillon watched as Gavin crawled into the bed on the other side of Briana. “What did Cole have to say about working again?” he asked. “He’s still working with the company about keeping us local. They have a job they’re trying to get us to do two hours north of Dallas. We could come home on the weekends, but we’d be there during the week. Starts next month. He says we’ll probably take it.” “Fuck. I don’t like leaving her right now,” Dillon said. “Me either. We can always opt out.” “Hate to do that to the rest of the guys. Puts them in a tough situation. Let’s see what the doctor says.” “Plus, we can see about having Tina and Brandy checking on her some, too,” Gavin suggested. “Good idea. Do you think we can convince her to stay here instead of that cracker box she’s in?” Gavin sighed. “I doubt it.” Dillon tried to think of a reason she would need to stay at their place and couldn’t come up with anything. Their place would be so much more comfortable for her than the place she was living. Plus, they had security, and she didn’t. “Well, we have a few weeks to work on her. Maybe we’ll think of something by then,” Dillon said. Briana moaned then rolled over toward Gavin. Dillon smiled. Never failed. She would be on top of him before the night was out. He adjusted his cock now that she wasn’t pressed against it. He seriously thought about getting up and taking another shower so he could jack

off, but he was tired. He would manage to fall asleep just fine with a hard cock.

Chapter Fourteen Tuesday, the guys were at her apartment just before noon to help her get ready for her doctor’s appointment. “I don’t need help to get ready,” she complained when they ushered her into her bedroom. “You need to wear something loose and comfortable,” Dillon told her. “I’ll help you bathe,” Gavin said. “I can bathe and dress myself. Will you two get out of my bedroom before I have you thrown out by the police?” Briana felt like throwing something. “At least let me help you get in and out of the tub. I don’t want you to fall, baby.” Gavin had his hands on his hips. “Fine. Will you leave me alone if I let you?” “I promise not to bother you while you’re bathing,” he said. “That wasn’t exactly what I asked.” Gavin acted as if he hadn’t heard her. By two p.m., Briana was ready to scream. The men had supervised every part of her getting ready for her doctor’s appointment. They’d even brought a DVD in case they did an ultrasound. They said the doctor would burn it on the DVD so they would have a recording of it. Briana gathered her purse and some bills she wanted to mail and pronounced herself ready to go. They all three managed to get into the truck and buckled in without a major meltdown. She was slowly learning how to maneuver around them. She guessed they meant well, but they were driving her

crazy. Surely they would be going out to work again soon. Then she would have some peace and quiet. They stopped by the post office where Dillon dropped off her mail. Then they headed for the doctor’s office. The parking lot was full, so Gavin let them out at the door and went to park the car. He would join them inside. The receptionist was very nice and handed her several forms to fill out. She noticed one was for the father. Great. How was she going to do that one? She settled in the comfortable chair and adjusted the clipboard so she could fill out her information first. By the time she had gotten to the father’s form, she felt like she’d given her life history. Well, if nothing else, she would learn about the guys. “This form is about you two. Why don’t you fill it out, Gavin?” She handed the clipboard and pen to him. “Got it. Shouldn’t be hard to do.” A few minutes later he was scratching his head and conferring with Dillon on several of the questions. She rolled her lips into her mouth to keep from grinning at them. Being twins helped them out a lot, but there were still some tough questions when you didn’t remember being sick as a baby. “Okay, I think we have it done,” he said, handing it back to her. “Want me to take it back up there for you?” Dillon asked. “No, thanks. I can handle it.” She handed the clipboard with the forms back to the receptionist. She looked over them quickly, frowned, then shook her head and looked up. “Um, it looks like both of the men with you worked on this form. We just need the father to fill it out.” Briana was afraid of that. They’d each put in dates with their name for different illnesses. She drew in a deep breath. “They’re twins.”

“Yes, that’s what it says here, but I only need the father’s information.” She smiled sweetly at Briana. “I don’t know which of them is the father,” she finally said. “Oh.” “Did you need anything else?” “No, not right now.” She quickly turned her back and began working on the computer behind her. Briana sighed and returned to the men. “What was the problem?” Dillon asked. “You and Gavin both writing on the form.” “Huh? Why?” Gavin asked. “Because my not knowing who the father of the baby is makes it a little difficult for them to fill out their computer program.” “Oh.” They waited for nearly thirty minutes before she was called back to the back. They had a moment with the nurse when she only wanted to allow the father to go with her. She handled it rather well when Briana explained that she didn’t know which of them was the father. She just sighed and let them both come to the back. “If either of you causes a problem though, you’re out of here.” They both promised to behave themselves. Briana couldn’t believe that was going to happen. They weighed her, drew her blood, got her urine, measured her abdomen, and generally checked her all over before the doctor even came in the room. “I understand we have a rather unique situation here,” the doctor began. “Yes, sir.” Gavin introduced himself, then Dillon, and finally Briana. She waited on the table in her paper gown while they all three bonded. Finally, the doctor turned to her and smiled. “Let’s see how you’re doing.” He examined her then had her lie back on the table so he could do an ultrasound.

“We need to be sure everything looks okay, and I’d like to get a better idea of your due date.” The nurse assisted the doctor with positioning the sonogram, and then she spread some warm gel on her abdomen. The doctor used a rounded wand and moved it over her belly until he had what he was looking for. “Uh-huh.” “What?” Gavin demanded. “Just a minute. Let me look.” The doctor seemed used to having his examinations interrupted. Maybe most men acted like the guys were acting. A few seconds went by while he made some notes and tapped some buttons on the machine. Finally, he pushed the DVD in the machine and began recording. Once he was finished, the doctor sat back and smiled. “Well. I’m glad you’re lying down already.” “What’s wrong?” She envisioned all sorts of problems. “Nothing is wrong. You’re about twelve to thirteen weeks. Everything looks fine in there.” “Then why should I be lying down?” she asked. “You’re having twins.” Dillon and Gavin both took a step back. “Twins? Are you sure?” Gavin asked. “Well, you’re twins, so there was the possibility there anyway,” he told them with a giant smile. “I can’t have twins. I don’t have room for twins.” Briana began to panic. “Don’t worry, you’ll grow with the babies.” “I mean I don’t have a place at home for two babies.” “You don’t have room for one baby,” Gavin told her. “That’s why you’re going to move in with us.” “No, I’m not.”
124
Marla Monroe
“Okay, let’s move this along,” the doctor said with a strained smile. “I’m going to go look over all your information while you dress. The nurse will escort you to my office in a little while and we will talk about how you are physically and what you need to do.” “Okay. Thanks.” Briana was still in shock about the twins aspect. She never suspected or even thought about having twins. She guessed it should have occurred to her since the guys were twins. They were so different to her that she forgot about it. “Here, let us help you down.” Gavin helped her sit up, and then Dillon was there with her pants and underwear. By the time she was dressed, the nurse was back with a picture of the sonogram and their DVD in a little booklet. There was room for two more DVDs. “Since you’re having twins, he’ll probably check you two more times, maybe three.” They followed her down the hall to the doctor’s office. He welcomed them in but had a serious expression on his face. Briana felt her stomach drop, and she quickly sat in the chair Gavin held for her. Dillon took the other one and held her hand while Gavin stood behind her and kept his hands on her shoulders. “Okay, first of all. I have your due date to be around February tenth. I don’t have any time off planed for then, so I can deliver you just fine. Second of all, you need to know that a good percentage of twins are born by C-section. I just want you to be aware of that. Nothing says you will or won’t have surgery.” He tapped the fingers of both hands together. “I’m writing you a prescription for prenatal vitamins. I know you have been on the over-the-counter ones and normally, they are fine, but you need the extra help these can give you.” “Why does she need the extra help? Because of the twins?” Gavin asked. “Partly because of the twins, and partly because she is underweight with anemia.”
Her Biker Bodyguards
125
“How bad is the anemia?” Dillon asked. “It’s bad enough that I’m worried. It isn’t bad enough to need blood, but it isn’t far off, either. She needs to be eating foods high in iron as well as good proteins.” He looked through her record. “I don’t see where you’re a vegetarian, so there shouldn’t be any problem with you getting enough protein in.” “She’s having trouble eating anything but chicken so far,” Dillon told him. “Okay, so try fish and drink plenty of milk. I’m giving you a diet to follow. It’s very important that you follow it as closely as possible. You need to gain weight by the next time I see you.” They talked a few minutes more on what she should expect over the next month, and then she set up her next appointment with the receptionist. Dillon carried all her information and the DVD while Gavin went and got the truck. “You okay, baby? Twins. It’s sort of a shock.” Dillon squeezed her shoulder. “Don’t talk to me right now. I’m still trying to figure out how to kill both of you and get away with it.” Dillon chuckled, then sobered up when she turned to glare at him. Gavin pulled up to the entrance and waited while Dillon opened the door and helped Briana in the truck. As soon as they were all settled, he looked at Dillon and asked what was wrong. “Don’t say anything for now. She’s figuring out how to murder us.” Gavin opened his mouth then wisely closed it and concentrated on driving. She could tell that they both wanted to talk but were a little worried about how she would take it. They were wise to worry. Briana was having a nervous breakdown inside herself. She needed to be home—alone. If she knew anything at all about the men, they weren’t going to leave her alone tonight. Gavin pulled up outside her apartment building and turned to her. He licked his lips then finally spit it out.

“Look, you’ve had a shock. So have we, but we need to talk about it. Come home with us tonight.” “Right now, I need to be alone. I have things to think about. Maybe we can get together this weekend to talk. I really don’t need to talk to the two of you right now.” Dillon’s eyes grew wide. “Baby, don’t shut us out. Let us help you with this.” She sighed and ran her hands over her face. She prayed she wouldn’t break down and cry in front of them. “Please, Dillon. I’m not shutting you out. I just need some time. Please let me have that.” Gavin put a hand on her knee. “Okay. Let us help you upstairs. Then we’ll leave. We’re going to call and check on you every day, though. Then you come over and stay the weekend with us to talk through it all. How is that?” Dillon was about to blow a gasket by the look on his face. Briana felt like she was getting the best option she was going to get from them. She turned to Gavin and nodded. “Good. Let’s get you settled in tonight.” He cut the engine, and Dillon was out of the truck in an instant as if shot from a cannon. “Calm down, Dillon,” Gavin said. He drew in a deep breath and let it out. Briana got out on Gavin’s side, though. Dillon was too emotional for her to deal with at the moment. Gavin helped her down and made sure she was steady on her feet, then walked beside her while Dillon walked on ahead. “We’ll work it out, Briana. Don’t worry about it tonight.” Gavin held her hand and squeezed it. Once they got to her apartment, Dillon unlocked the door for her and handed her the key. She sighed and gave the key back to him. “I have another one. You keep it in case I need help.” Dillon’s face relaxed a degree. He curled his fingers around it and nodded.

“Good night.” She started to close the door, but Gavin put a hand on it. “Eat something tonight before you go to bed, okay, Briana?” “I will. I promise.” He nodded and waited while she quietly closed the door. She set the locks then walked into her bedroom and fell face-first across the bed. How in the hell had she ended up pregnant with twins?

Chapter Fifteen Briana spent the next few days alternating between disbelief and depression. She struggled to get her work done and had to force food down. She knew something had to give or she was going to end up in trouble. By Friday, she hadn’t really settled anything in her head. The guys were due to pick her up at six. Here it was four, and she was still staring at the overnight bag they’d sent over for her to use. This wasn’t her. She was a take-charge, run-her-own-life type of woman. Instead, she stood looking at an empty bag that came from the men who wanted her to live with them. Briana drew in a deep breath and refused to cry again. She started going through her drawers and packing clothes. If she didn’t have a plan by the time they got there, they would railroad her into theirs. She looked around the tiny room and knew she couldn’t live here with twins. It wouldn’t have lasted more than a year with one baby. It just wasn’t made for children. Then there were the three sets of stairs to get to her third-story apartment. Dillon was right. They were dangerous for a pregnant woman. She closed the bag and started to pick it up and stopped. She sighed. She would let the guys do it. She doubted it was heavy enough to be a problem, but they would feel good doing it. How did single pregnant women manage all alone? Well, they had friends for one thing, and since she’d just moved to Dallas and worked from home, she didn’t have any. Once again the tears threatened. She shoved them back and concentrated on drinking her milk. It was only her second small glass

of the day. Drinking and eating all the suggestions on the diet the doctor had given her was next to impossible. At five until six, the guys knocked on the door. She checked the peephole and made sure it was them before unlocking the door and letting them in. They immediately enfolded her into a double hug. “How are you feeling, baby?” Dillon asked. “I’m fine.” She backed away from them and smiled. “My bag is in the bedroom. I thought maybe I shouldn’t pick it up.” “Good girl,” Gavin said. He disappeared into the bedroom and returned with the bag. “What about the paperwork from the doctor? We need it too,” Dillon reminded her. “It’s in a folder on my desk. I’ll get it.” She walked over to the card table that served as her desk and picked up the manila folder. Dillon took it from her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. “Are you ready, baby?” “I guess so.” The men exchanged glances before leading her out of the apartment and locking the door behind them. They escorted her carefully down the stairs and to the truck. Gavin helped her inside and climbed in after her. He buckled her in, and they pulled out of the apartment parking lot. The further away from the apartment they drove the more she felt like she wouldn’t be staying there again. Once inside the guys’ house, she found herself situated on a couch with a pillow and a blanket. “Rest while we fix dinner. Do you think you can handle something like spaghetti?” Gavin asked. “I–I don’t know. I can try,” she said. “We have chicken if you can’t, but I’m hoping you can eat it. It’s very mild, not spicy at all,” Dillon said. She picked up one of the baby books they had placed on the couch next to her. It looked well read and had the corners of some of the pages turned down. She went through and looked at those pages first

and sighed. They were mostly about problems that could come up. Trust the men to think of all the bad things first. She started at the beginning and was on the second chapter when the men came in to get her for dinner. “Ready to eat, baby?” Dillon took the book from her and laid it on the end table so she could take up where she had left off. Gavin reached down and took her hand in his. She stood up and walked between them to the dining room. The first thing that hit her was the smell of cooked meat. She gagged and stopped in her tracks, shaking her head. Dillon immediately turned her around and walked her out of the dining room and down the hall to the half bath. Briana fanned herself and leaned back against the wall with tears in her eyes. “I’m sorry.” “It’s okay, baby. What was it that got you? The sight, or the smell, or what?” “It smelled like cooking meat. I can’t handle that smell.” “We’ll work around it,” Gavin said from the doorway. “I’ll bring the grilled chicken to you in the living room and you can eat in there.” Briana felt like a mess. She took the wet cloth Dillon handed her and wiped her face and neck. The wet cloth helped cool her down as well. She felt better by the time Gavin returned. Briana managed to eat half the chicken and most of the steamed vegetables. She drank a half a glass of milk and called it quits. She waited in the living room with the books while the guys ate and cleaned up the kitchen. Then she heard the distinct sound of air fresheners being sprayed. She sighed and thumbed through the baby book to find out how long her eating problems were going to last. What she found didn’t brighten her mood much. “Do you need a nap, Briana?” Gavin asked a few seconds later. “No, I’m fine. We might as well start talking.” The men each sat on either side of her and took a hand.

“First of all,” Gavin said. “We want what is best for you and the babies.” “Second. We want you happy,” Dillon said. “What do you want?” Gavin asked. “I want healthy babies. I want us to be able to work out a relationship that is good for them.” Briana wanted to say that she wanted both of them to love her. “No matter what happens,” Gavin said, “the babies will always be our first priority.” Dillon brought the back of her hand to his mouth and kissed it. “You know I love you, baby. I’ll do whatever it takes to make you happy.” Gavin looked away then back at her. “You mean more to me than anything, Briana. Our babies will be taken care of no matter what happens between us.” “Nothing is going to happen, though,” Dillon said, looking over at Gavin. “Look, we want you to move in with us. We have plenty of room for you and the babies. They will have a backyard and lots of uncles and aunts. We can provide for you so that you don’t have to work if you don’t want to.” Gavin stopped when Dillon started up. “But if you want to, you can. Since you work from home anyway, it won’t matter if you move here.” “I plan on working. I worked hard for my degree. I want to use it.” “We figured that,” Gavin said. “I just want you to know that we can take care of you if you can’t for a while, or decide to quit after the babies are born.” “I know moving in with us is going to be hard for you at first, but I promise we’ll do everything we can to make you comfortable.” Dillon stood up. “You look tired, baby. How about I take you upstairs and you can take a nap?” Briana sighed. They were right. She was tired. Talking about moving in with them wore her out mentally. She nodded and stood

up. Gavin held her hand as Dillon took her other one. He let go when Dillon led her toward the stairs. Once upstairs, Dillon ushered her into the master suite where she had stayed before. The bed had already been turned back. He had her sit down, then knelt and took off her shoes. Then he helped her lie back. He bent over and kissed her nose. “Dillon?” “Yeah, baby?” “How does Gavin really feel about me and the babies?” “You’ll have to talk to him about that. I know he cares about you very much. More than he ever has about anyone I’ve ever known about.” Dillon tucked a blanket over her. “If you need anything, just call out. One of us will be within hearing range all the time.” Briana nodded and closed her eyes. She felt like control of her life had been taken out of her hands. It frightened her and made her mad all at the same time. And beneath it all was the fact that she loved Dillon and Gavin so much it hurt. It hurt to know that Gavin didn’t love her, and even though Dillon said he did, well, how could she believe him when he hadn’t told her until after he’d found out she was pregnant? She fell asleep with questions circling in her head. **** Gavin stood looking down at the couch with the indentation where Briana had been sitting. The thought of losing her scared him. He wanted her to live with them. Dillon loved her and wanted to marry her. That would be great, then she would always be with them, but he knew she would balk at the idea. She wouldn’t believe that Dillon loved her even before the babies came up. “She’s already asleep, I think.” Dillon walked down the stairs into the living room.
Her Biker Bodyguards
133
“She’s worn herself out trying to figure out what to do. I would bet she’s done nothing but worry about it.” Gavin dropped the baby book to the couch. “I want to ask her to marry me, but I’m afraid she’ll say no on principle now.” “You’re right. We need to get her used to us again. Once she’s used to being around us, and knows how we feel about her, then we have a chance of keeping her with us. First, we have to get her to stay here and move out of that damned apartment she’s in. It’s nothing but a box,” Gavin said. “I think she’s already thinking about how little room she has. She was looking around the bedroom up there like she was picturing baby beds in there. She doesn’t have room for even one in her apartment now.” Dillon grinned. “I think that and whirlpool tub are going to be our selling point.” “You’re going to have to back off some, Dillon. She’s not going to want to be smothered. She’s going to want to work and have her own space.” Gavin lifted an eyebrow at his brother. He knew Dillon. He would want to baby her and wait on her hand and foot. Nothing would get on her nerves faster than Dillon in overdrive. “I hear you.” Dillon frowned. “I know you’re right. I just want to make her happy, though.” “Then remember to give her space.” “She asked me how you felt about her.” Dillon sat on the coffee table. “What did you tell her?” “That she would have to take that up with you,” Dillon said. “Fuck. If she asks me, what am I supposed to say?” Gavin asked. “Tell her the truth.” “I don’t know what the fuck the truth is right now, Dillon. I care about her.”
134

“How would you feel if you could never see her again? What if she decides to move out of the state?” “I won’t let her move. Those babies are ours, too.” Gavin frowned. “Forget about the fucking babies. I’m talking about her. Just her.” “I don’t know.” Gavin stood up and walked out of the living room into the office. They’d spent the week cleaning it out and setting it up for Briana to use for work. It had a state-of-the-art computer with a color printer and fax machine. There were plenty of shelves without books, so she could fill them up with hers. He’d noticed that she seemed to like to read by all the books she had. Funny, he’d never actually seen her read. Only study her books for school. Maybe that would be something she could start doing again if she moved there and had more room. He looked out the window behind the desk. It opened out into the backyard. He could see the patio and a spot that would be great for a swing set. She could work here and turn around and watch the twins playing on the swing set. Maybe he would be out there with them. Maybe it would be Dillon. Between the two of them, someone would always be with them. Someone would always be with Briana. How did he feel about her? The thought of her not being around, hurt. It took the breath from his lungs and squeezed his heart until he couldn’t stand it. Was that love? He didn’t know. He had never felt it before. Usually, he felt a fondness for the women he and his brother shared. He cared that they were taken care of and satisfied, but had never wanted to see them more than a few times. He realized that he didn’t want to miss seeing Briana. He wanted to be there when she woke up tonight. Gavin sighed and ran his hand through his hair. He needed a ride. He hadn’t been on the bike in over a week. He walked back into the living room where his brother reclined with the TV on low.
Her Biker Bodyguards
135
“Dillon, I’m going for a ride. Don’t get out of earshot of Briana while I’m gone. I won’t be long.” He grabbed his helmet and headed for the carport where they kept their bikes. He rode the first few minutes without thinking of anything but the road and the wind. Then he let his mind drift while he rode the familiar pathways around Dallas. Somewhere along the way, he picked up Ranger and Drew. They nodded and kept up with him, but they didn’t try to lead or steer him anywhere. Dillon had called them, no doubt. He guessed he couldn’t blame him. He wasn’t in a good mood for riding, but it was the perfect thing to do when he had a lot on his mind. By the time he made it back to the house, Drew and Ranger had peeled off and headed back to their place. He parked the bike and pulled off his helmet. The ride had settled him. He knew how he felt about Briana now. The thing was, he couldn’t tell her while she was trying to make a decision on moving in with them or not. It would influence her, and he didn’t want to ruin their chances of having her move in. He locked up the house from the garage and dropped his helmet on the bench next to Dillon’s. Then he went in search of his brother. They needed to have a heart-to-heart on Briana and the babies. They should have done it before they brought her home, but he had been too fucked up about it to see straight. “Hey, you’re back,” Dillon said with a smile. “We need to talk. Where’s the baby monitor?” “Huh?” Dillon looked at him as if he were crazy. “The monitor we bought the other day. I want to hook it up now, so we can hear her if she wakes up.” They set up the monitor in the bedroom and took the other part of it out to the garage. He needed to say some things that were going to piss Dillon off, and he didn’t want Briana to wake up in the middle of it. This way they could hear her if she woke up.

“What’s so important that we have to come out here to talk about it?” Dillon asked. “You’re not marrying Briana.” “What the fuck?” Dillon frowned at him. “The fuck you say.” “I’m marrying her.”

Chapter Sixteen Briana woke up to find the room totally dark except for the bathroom light on with the door cracked so she could see. She rolled over to the side of the bed and turned on the bedside lamp. Then she sat up and waited for her head to clear before she got up to go to the bathroom. By the time she was finished and was running the tub full of water, the men were knocking on the door to the bathroom. “Briana?” Gavin’s voice. “Are you okay in there?” “I’m fine. I’m just going to take a bath.” “Open up, baby.” Dillon rattled the nob. “Remember, one of us has to help you in and out of the tub.” “You won’t always be around, Dillon. You have to work, too. I can get in and out of the tub by myself.” She knew it was eating them alive not to be able to get in. “Don’t make me break the door in,” Gavin said. “Get a clothes hanger and pick the freaking lock.” Briana shook her head. Men. She eased down in the tub of warm water and pulled the bath pillow down to rest her head on. A few seconds later she heard the clothes hanger in the doorknob and, after that, the unmistakable sounds of cursing. Then the click of the lock and the door banged open against the wall. “Hey, you’re letting in the cold air. Do you want me to catch a cold?” She smiled then hid her smile when the door closed back. “You, young lady, are in a world of trouble,” Gavin said.

She looked up, and both he and Dillon looked as if they’d been fighting. Both of them had disheveled clothes and hair. She narrowed her eyes at them. They both looked guilty as hell of something. She wasn’t sure she wanted to know what it was right then. Maybe later. “I wanted a bath. I can take a bath if I want to without asking permission. If I have to ask permission, I’m going home.” “You don’t have to ask permission, Briana, but you need to let us know what you’re doing, so we can be around if you need us.” Gavin stuck his hands on his hips. Dillon seemed sullen. Whatever had happened, Gavin had won, and Dillon had lost. She sure hoped it had to do with who was cleaning the kitchen up after meals. She let out a deep breath and closed her eyes. She wanted to relax for a while, not think about their problems. She had made up her mind while she had been sleeping. She would move in with them and let them help take care of the babies. If they worked well together and everyone wanted it to last, she’d stay. If they didn’t work well together, or if they obviously only wanted the babies, she would move out. They could set up visitation for them. She’d left her heart out of it and let her mind do the thinking. Her heart was still pumping and wanting, but it would have to be happy with the way things were for now. Maybe, after the babies were born, there would be a time for her heart to get involved, but not now. For now, she had two babies to care about and provide for. She couldn’t handle anything more at the moment. “How long do you think you’re going to want to soak, Briana?” Gavin asked. “I don’t know. Until my water gets cool.” “Will you please call us when you get ready to get out and let us help you?” Dillon asked. Briana sighed and opened one eye. “Okay. I’ll yell.” “Thanks, baby.” Dillon bent down and kissed her on the cheek.

Gavin reached into the water and ran his finger down her thigh to her knee and back up again. Then he pulled his arm out of the water and dried it off with her towel. The men left her in peace. She soaked and drifted in the water until it cooled off more than she wanted. She started to get out then remembered her promise. She called out. “I’m ready to get out now!” A few seconds later, she heard the sounds of feet hitting the tread on the stairs. Dillon walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind him. The cool air rushed around her and sent chill bumps down her arms. “Here you go, baby.” He reached down and took one hand while she used the other on the side of the tub. Once she was out of the tub, he enfolded her in the bath towel and rubbed her dry. As soon as he finished, he picked her up and carried her into the bedroom again. Gavin was waiting with a lime-green terry-cloth robe and matching slippers. “Let’s get you warm, baby,” Dillon said as he handed her over to Gavin to wrap the robe around her. “Looks like it fits fine,” Gavin said. “Well, it’s a little big if you ask me,” Briana said, laughing at how the robe wrapped around her. “In another three or four months it won’t be,” Gavin said. “I knew I didn’t like you for a reason.” Briana scowled at him. Gavin just grinned and kissed her on the cheek. Dillon scooted her house shoes on her feet. “Let’s watch a movie until I’m sleepy again,” Briana suggested. The guys looked at each other and grinned. She narrowed her eyes and looked at them. “What?” “We said you would want to watch a movie when you got out of the tub. Do you want popcorn with it?” Dillon asked. “Smart-ass. Yes.”

They watched an action movie and ate popcorn. Briana managed to stay awake through the entire thing. Dillon took the bowls to the kitchen and returned with a glass of milk for Briana. She frowned. “I didn’t ask for that.” “I know you meant to, though. Just a few sips, baby.” Dillon handed her the glass. Briana rolled her eyes, but drank half the glass and handed it back to him. He smiled and kissed her. “I swear, if you pat my head like a good little puppy, I’m going to scream.” “I don’t want to waste a good scream. I know of another way to make you scream that we would all enjoy a lot more,” Gavin said with a wink. “You’re incorrigible,” she said. He picked her up and carried her up the stairs to the bedroom where he eased her to the floor and began unwrapping her from the bright-green robe. When she was nude but for the slippers, he settled her on the bed with her legs hanging over the edge. “You stay right there while I get undressed. I didn’t get dessert, and after all that salty popcorn, I think I want something sweet.” “Save some for me,” Dillon demanded. Both men raced to undress. It was almost as if they were in competition with each other. She narrowed her eyes at them. What was going on? Then they descended on her, and she couldn’t think at all anymore. Dillon and Gavin both attacked her pussy with their mouths. Gavin managed to target her clit while Dillon speared her with his tongue. Then they switched, and the assault started all over again. “God! It’s too much,” she yelped. “What, baby?” Dillon asked. “Everything. Slow down. What’s going on?”

“Nothing, Briana. We both want you and can’t agree on who’s first.” “I liked it better when we were all three first,” she hinted. “Baby, I don’t know if that’s a good idea while you’re pregnant,” Gavin said. “I’m sure it will be fine for now. I’ll ask the doctor next month, though,” she assured them. “Are you sure?” Dillon asked. “If you don’t stop talking and start doing, your opportunity is going to go away.” Briana elbowed her way back on the bed and rolled over. “Who gets to be ridden?” she asked. Gavin crawled on the bed and lay down on his back. He helped Briana climb on top of him by holding his throbbing cock still for her to sink her hot cunt over. She closed her eyes and hissed out a breath as she swallowed him with her pussy. “I wish you could see your face right now,” Gavin said. “You have the most glorious expression, as if you just sampled a favorite chocolate cake.” “Near enough.” She smiled with sleepy eyes. “Move. I can’t stand not moving.” “Not yet, baby. I need to prep you first.” Dillon poured a generous amount of lube on her back hole and began massaging it into her ass with one finger. She pushed back on him then down on Gavin over and over until Gavin pulled her down to his chest and held her there. “Be still, Briana. I don’t want Dillon to hurt you.” “He won’t. I trust him.” Dillon entered her dark hole with two fingers this time. She breathed through the burn and sting until he had them past the ring and fully inside of her. He pumped them in and out of her ass several times before adding more lube and slowly adding a third finger.

“Yes, Dillon. Please, I want your cock now. I need to move. Please.” She felt tears well up in her eyes. The burn wasn’t too bad, but not moving was frustrating her to tears. Dillon pulled out his fingers and lodged his dick at her back hole and slowly pushed inward. “Breathe, Briana. Push back and breathe,” Gavin told her as he held her in his arms. She pushed back and nearly screamed when Dillon’s dick finally popped through and kept going. He seated himself fully inside her. Gavin let her go, and she began moving between them. Back on Dillon then down on Gavin. Finally, they took the rhythm away from her by speeding up. She could only lie there while they used her as a vessel for their cocks. Her cunt burned and ached for release. Her ass burned with the awakening of seldom-used nerve endings. They amped up the pleasure as they slowly drove her upward to her climax. Gavin whispered how he wanted back in her tight ass again soon. “I love how you grip me back there. I like to spank that round ass of yours and see it turn rosy red.” Briana moaned at his dirty words and clamped down on his dick in her pussy until he groaned. It caused her to tighten around Dillon’s cock as well. He began to lose his rhythm and cursed. “Fuck, I’m going to come. Gavin, I want her to come first.” Dillon grunted. Gavin reached between them and fingered her clit then pinched it, and she screamed as her climax rolled over her, sending her flying off a cliff with no end in sight. She felt Gavin and Dillon both come inside her. The heat of their cum sent her into another frenzy of climax. Then she collapsed on top of Gavin and was dimly aware that Dillon did the same thing on her. Gavin seemed to handle it okay at first, but soon fought to roll them all over on the bed. Dillon cursed when his feet fell off the other side of the bed. He pulled from her ass, making her groan at the sudden loss.

“Sorry, baby. I’ll be right back.” Dillon padded into the bathroom. “You okay, Briana?” Gavin asked. “You’re not hurting anywhere, are you?” “I’m fine. I’m going to be sore tomorrow from all the coming, but I’m not hurting,” she assured him. She felt wonderful. The only thing that would have made it perfect was to hear the words afterwards. But neither man said them, and she wasn’t sure she would have believed them if they had. She swallowed. She had to stop thinking about the emotional side of things for now. She needed to concentrate on the babies and making things work right now. After Dillon cleaned her up, they all three curled up around each other to go to sleep. It took Briana a while to drift off since she’d had her nap earlier, but after a little while of listening to the men snore, she dozed off. **** Dillon couldn’t relax until they had moved all of Briana’s things to the house. He worried that she would change her mind before they had her completely moved. Once she was settled in the house, he began to calm down some. He was still smarting over the fact that Gavin had turned the tables and announced he was going to marry her, not Dillon, as they’d discussed. The thing was, his reasoning was sound. He was the oldest by several minutes, so the majority of their parents’ estate would come to him. As his wife, that meant if something happened to Gavin, then it would go to Briana and the children. Plus, he had fallen in love with her. He could admit it to himself and Dillon. He refused to tell Briana, though, until after the babies were born.

“She won’t believe me, just like she doesn’t believe you. She needs time to adjust to everything. We’ll get her to marry me and prove to her we love her. She’ll see over time.” Dillon wasn’t so sure that waiting to tell her was the right thing to do. He wanted to tell her every day several times a day. But he waited and showed her instead. Cole showed up the next week to tell them that they planned to take the job north of Dallas and would be leaving that next Sunday to settle in. Gavin merely nodded and said they’d be ready. Dillon wasn’t ready to leave her just yet. She was going to the doctor again in a couple of weeks. They’d miss it and not know for sure what the doctor said. She wouldn’t tell them all of it. So far, he couldn’t tell that she had gained any weight whatsoever. Gavin constantly fussed at her to eat, and that caused tension in the house. Dillon tried to bridge the gap and smooth things over, but it was getting on all of their nerves. Maybe the job would be a good idea after all. “So when will you be back?” she asked. Dillon could tell she didn’t like it. That gave him hope that she would miss them while they were gone. “We’ll be back on Friday night around nine,” Gavin told her. “Maybe earlier.” “You’ll be careful, won’t you?” Dillon drew her into his arms. “Always, baby. We’ll be back before you know it.” They made slow, sweet love to her Saturday night in an effort to show her how much she meant to them. She had snuggled up with them and gone to sleep. The guys left the bedroom to talk. “I talked to West and Kyle. Brandy is supposed to check on her all week and Cole said Tina will, too,” Gavin said. “Good. I don’t like her being totally alone. Plus, she needs to take care of herself, and she won’t if someone doesn’t push her. Tina will do that.”

“Are we okay, Dillon?” Gavin asked, looking him in the eye. “Yeah. I don’t like it, but you’re right. It makes sense for you to marry her. It hurts my feelings that I can’t be the one she’s tied to.” “You’re special to her, Dillon. She’ll never feel the way she feels about you for me.” “I think you’re wrong about that,” Dillon told him. “She’s asked me why you don’t love her, and she worries about it.” “Time will tell.” Gavin sighed. “I guess we better hit the bed. We’ve got a long day ahead of us tomorrow.” They padded back upstairs to climb into bed and go to sleep.

Chapter Seventeen The week passed quickly for Briana. She missed the guys something fierce, but concentrated on work and got back in the groove of things. She had frequent visits from both Brandy and Tina. She knew they were there to spy on her to be sure she ate and took care of herself. Still, she thoroughly enjoyed their company. Both women were totally in love with their men. With them, she could confess her love for the guys, but not to Gavin and Dillon. Not yet. They would use it to get her to agree to marry them, and she wanted love for that. Without love, nothing would last. Friday night, they pulled into the drive at a quarter until nine. She couldn’t help but be excited, and danced when they walked in the house pulling off their helmets and riding gear. Dillon grinned from ear to ear at her enthusiasm that they were home. He picked her up and twirled her in the air. “Are you glad to see us, baby? Did you miss us just a little bit?” he asked. “I missed you a little bit. Mostly in bed, though. I get cold without you there to keep me warm.” Gavin pulled her out of Dillon’s arms and laid a fierce kiss on her. His tongue slid along hers before tempting her to join him in his mouth. Then he pulled back and grinned at her. “Just in bed, huh? I’ll remember that when you’re horny.” He hefted her up and down and frowned. “You feel like you’ve lost weight again.”

“I’ve been eating. Four small meals a day like he suggested. And I can eat fish now. I had grilled catfish yesterday. Brandy and I went out to eat dinner last night.” “You went alone?” Gavin said, his frown deepening. “Yeah, we didn’t go far, and she’s a safe driver.” She pouted. “That’s good about the fish, baby.” Dillon, always the one to settle things down, piped up. “So, you go back to the doctor next week. You’ll tell us the truth about what he says, won’t you?” Gavin pushed. She rolled her eyes. “Yeah. It’s going to be good news. I just know it. I’ve been eating. You’ll see.” “How ’bout we order pizza in? Do you think you can eat a pizza, baby?” Dillon asked. “You know, I think I can. If not, I’ll eat the rest of my grilled chicken I had for lunch.” “Why don’t you order for us while we shower and get cleaned up?” Gavin suggested. Briana called in the pizza order then decided to give one of them a blow job. She would choose based on who was in the shower at the time. She caught Dillon getting undressed and kissed him. “I’m going to give Gavin a BJ. It won’t hurt your feelings, will it?” she asked. “Only if you use up all the hot water,” he joked. “I love you, baby. I know you love me, too.” She swallowed, but didn’t confirm it. Instead, she kissed him again and quickly undressed. She slipped in the shower before Gavin realized she was there, and was on her knees with his cock in her mouth when he finally cleared the soap from his eyes. “Baby, you don’t have to do that.” He rested his hands on her head. She looked up at him and deep-throated him. He slammed his hand against the back of the shower. “Fuck!”

She took that as a good sign and licked him up and down before sucking in just the head to tease with her tongue. She squeezed the base of him and met her mouth with her hand over and over until he was going up on his toes with each twist of her hand. She nibbled around the underside of his cockhead, then sucked him down her throat once again. She relaxed and breathed through her nose so she could swallow him deeper. He dug his fingernails in her scalp and began pumping his cock in and out of her mouth. He thrust harder and faster until his rhythm faltered. He started to pull out. “Easy, baby. I’m going to come.” She sucked him deep, and he filled her throat with cum. She worked to swallow it all. When he was finished, she cleaned his dick with her tongue and looked up at him with horny eyes. Then she slid her fingers between her legs and dipped them in her hot cunt and brought them out for him to taste her pussy juices. Gavin closed his eyes and hummed his appreciation. She held onto his hips and pulled herself up. He immediately reached down to help her. “Better leave some hot water for Dillon,” Gavin said. “I’ll take care of you while we wait on the pizza.” “Later, Gavin. The pizza will be here too soon. I don’t want to rush it when you have your mouth on my pussy.” “Fuck, I want in that hot cunt of yours.” “You can wait. Besides, you need a little recovery period, I think.” “I don’t think so. What do you think?” He brushed his semierect cock against her belly, and it thumped against her as it grew. “Wow. You’re resilient, aren’t you?” “Only with you, baby. Only with you.” With those words, he finished drying off and walked into the bedroom where he said something to Dillon. Briana wrapped the towel around her and hurried out of the bathroom to get dressed. Dillon smiled at her and popped her on the

behind as she passed. She flashed him a wicked grin and grabbed up her clothes to slip into them before she froze. Gavin helped her with her socks and shoes. “Looks like you might have a little bit of a baby bump, finally. Making it hard for you to bend over, huh?” She popped him on the chest and growled at him. Then she hurried down the stairs to answer the door. When Gavin caught up with her he swung her around and frowned at her. “Don’t ever run down those stairs again. You could have lost your balance and fallen. And you don’t answer the door without being sure who it is.” “Don’t come home and lecture me, Gavin.” The doorbell rang again. Gavin huffed out a breath and answered it. He paid the man and carried the pizzas into the living room. When Dillon walked downstairs, he seemed to notice the tension in the room, because he cursed and glared at Gavin. “I swear, she gives you a blow job that I happen to know from experience is superb, and you’re already pissing her off. What gives this time?” “She ran down the stairs,” Gavin told him. Dillon frowned and leveled a steady gaze at her. “Briana, you’re already off balance some from being pregnant. You shouldn’t be hurrying down the stairs, much less running down them. You know better than that.” She sighed and nodded. They were right. It didn’t make her feel any better, though. She sulked up for a while, but managed to eat two pieces of the pizza after picking off the olives. She really was trying. She would eat a small snack before bed as well. They watched a movie then headed to bed. The weekend passed quickly, and soon she was waving them off on Sunday afternoon. She hated for them to leave, but she needed the alone time from them. Together they were so intense. She knew they

were right about most of the things they fussed at her about, but she didn’t do them when they weren’t around. Why did she do them when they were? Because you want their attention. You’ve got it anyway. Why do you have to make things worse by acting out? On Wednesday, she drove to the doctor’s office and waited her turn to see him. She’d turned down Brandy and Tina’s offer to accompany her. She wanted to go alone this time. The first time had been overwhelming between finding out she was going to have twins and dealing with two men hovering over her. Unfortunately, she got fussed at because she had only gained two pounds. Her anemia was improved, but not as much as he wanted. He sent her to a dietitian to see if she could help her, and warned her of the dangers of not getting enough nutrition. She dreaded telling the guys the news. Still, she was doing her best. She drove home in tears and nearly ran a red light. They called her almost before she got in the door. She snapped at them and then regretted it. “I’m sorry. I’m just upset.” Gavin immediately knew something was wrong. “What is it? Do we need to come home?” “No. I’m fine. The babies are fine, but I only gained two pounds. He fussed at me. I’m doing the best I can. I snack all during the day. What else can I do?” “Easy, baby. Don’t get so upset. It’s not good for you.” “Good for the babies, you mean,” she snapped, and once again regretted it. “Maybe I need to send Dillon home, baby. You don’t sound so good.” “No, don’t do that. You all need to work so you can finish sooner. I miss you guys. I’ll be fine.” “Here’s Dillon. He’s about to have a fit to talk to you. Take care, Briana.”

“Baby, what’s wrong? You sound upset even from across the room.” She went back over what the doctor said and her frustration at not gaining weight. He was much more sympathetic. It soothed her spirits, but she knew Gavin meant well. He was just so much more serious than Dillon. And that was a good thing in most situations. Dillon hung up telling her he loved her and they would be home soon. Briana put up the phone and dutifully pulled out the peanut butter and crackers she’d made up for snacks. She poured a glass of milk and ate as many as she could without making herself sick, and then she returned to the office and settled down to work. **** Dillon and Gavin pulled into the drive around eight p.m. Friday night. This time, Briana didn’t meet them at the door like before. Dillon immediately got worried and hurried in the house, calling out her name. “Briana?” Dillon took the stairs two at a time. He found her sound asleep in the bedroom, oblivious to their having arrived. Gavin walked in right behind him. “She’s asleep,” Dillon told him incredulously. “She didn’t hear us calling her.” “She must be exhausted. Maybe she hadn’t been sleeping well with us gone,” Gavin suggested. “Let’s let her sleep.” Dillon turned and headed back downstairs. He was a little disappointed that she hadn’t been waiting on them, but even more worried that she was sleeping so hard. After the phone call earlier in the week, they’d keep in touch more often. She’d seemed fine, telling them that she was eating more and doing well. Had it all been an act?
152
Marla Monroe
“Don’t think so hard, Dillon. She’s going to be fine. We’ll see to it. If we don’t need to go back, we won’t go back. Cole and the others will understand.” Gavin slapped him on the shoulder. “I know. I can’t help but feel like there is something wrong.” “We’ll figure it out.” They settled down to watch TV downstairs and waited for Briana to wake up. When she didn’t come downstairs by ten, Dillon got up to go see about her. About halfway up the stairs, she walked out of the bedroom and smiled down at him. “I knew you were home since it was so late. Why didn’t you wake me up?” she demanded. Dillon walked the rest of the way upstairs and pulled her into a hug. “We figured you needed the rest, but you had us worried. What time did you lie down to take a nap?” “About six. I got up early this morning and it finally caught up with me.” She kissed him and looked over his shoulder. “Where is Gavin?” “He’s in the kitchen fixing you something to eat.” “I am a little hungry,” she admitted to him. Dillon rubbed a hand over her rounded belly. “Your baby bump is bigger than it was last week.” “I know.” She frowned. “I’m going to have to start wearing looser clothes. I’m having trouble getting my pants on over it.” “We’ll go shopping tomorrow and find you some comfortable clothes to wear,” he said. She smiled and turned around toward the stairs. She stumbled and would have fallen if Dillon hadn’t caught her. “Hey! Easy. What happened?” “I turned too fast and got dizzy. I know better than to do that. I just forgot.” “Do you get dizzy often?” Dillon held her still when she would have continued down the stairs.

“Only if I turn too fast or stand up too quick.” Dillon helped her downstairs to the kitchen where Gavin had a piece of grilled chicken and some green beans warmed up. He smiled when he saw Briana. “Hey, baby. How are you doing?” He leaned down and kissed her then ran a hand down her belly to rub it. “I’m fine. Thanks for fixing me something to eat. I was a little bit hungry.” Gavin kissed her again and led her over to the table where he sat her plate and a glass of milk. Dillon refrained from telling Gavin anything about her being dizzy earlier and the fact that she was having trouble with it. He would talk to him about it later. Right now, they were all doing really well together. He liked that. “You’re not working too hard are you, Briana?” Gavin asked her. “No. Honestly, I’m not. I woke up really early this morning and couldn’t go back to sleep so I went ahead and ate then started working. I stopped for a couple of hours around lunchtime and took a nap. Then I started back and stopped when I got sleepy again at six.” “You have circles under your eyes, baby. Are you not sleeping well?” Dillon finally couldn’t stand it. He had to know. “No. I’m not sleeping as well as I should. I’m not sure why. I’m tired, but I’m not sleepy.” She continued eating while they talked. Dillon was pleased with how much she was eating. She really had improved. Still, she hadn’t gained much weight at all since she had been pregnant. Maybe she would catch up now. “I’m thinking that my hours are mixed up because I’m taking naps during the day. I was sleeping really fine earlier.” Briana took a sip of her milk. “That’s highly possible. You were sound asleep when we got home,” Gavin pointed out. “Anyway, how is everyone, and how is the job coming?” she asked.

“Everyone’s doing fine and the construction is coming along nicely. We’re thinking about staying home this next week with you, though,” Gavin said. “Not that I wouldn’t love for you to be home, but no. You need to work with the others so they can get home sooner. I’m doing fine. If I get tired, I rest.” Dillon wasn’t convinced that there wasn’t something else going on. He gave a little shake of his head at Gavin when she wasn’t looking so that he wouldn’t pursue the subject. He didn’t want to upset her. She needed to remain as calm as possible for her and the babies’ sakes. They talked for another hour then wandered upstairs to get ready for bed. Dillon enjoyed helping her get undressed. Then he and Gavin both had fun talking to the babies and kissing her belly. Gavin blew raspberries on it until she was giggling. Then he stopped, a worried expression on his face. “What is it, Gavin?” Dillon asked. “I didn’t mean to get her out of breath. That can’t be good for her.” “I’m fine, Gavin. Laughter is always good.” She reached up and pulled him to her for a kiss. Dillon liked seeing them get along so well. If only she would believe them when they told her they loved her. He knew Gavin was at that point now. It was just a matter of timing now. If they said it at the right time, she might believe them. “What are you so serious about, Dillon?” Briana smiled at him. “Just thinking that we all need to get some rest. It’s nearly midnight now.” “Maybe after you let me suck your tasty cocks. I’ve wanted you all week.” Briana licked her lips and reached up to unfasten Gavin’s pants. Dillon shook his head. She was incorrigible when she was horny. They wouldn’t be going to sleep anytime soon with her in that mood.

She pulled out Gavin’s cock and gave it a long lick. He groaned and wound a hand in her hair. Dillon pulled off his shirt and slid to the foot of the bed to partake in something sweet himself. When he went to remove her panties, he found that she had bled on them. He stilled, trying to catch his breath. She is bleeding. Fuck! He swallowed and carefully got off the bed. “Baby, we need to stop. You’re bleeding, baby.” She stilled and then let go of Gavin’s cock. “What?” “You’re bleeding. We need to call the doctor and see what to do.” Dillon reached for the phone where he’d put a copy of the clinic’s oncall numbers under it. “Gavin?” There were tears in her voice. “Shhh, baby. It’ll be okay. We’ll go see the doctor and he’ll know what to do.” Gavin zipped up and helped her to lie back down. “Just be still until we know what to do. We’re both right here, Briana.” He listened to the answering service give directions then gave them their phone number and address. He watched as Gavin soothed Briana. He held her hand and brushed the tears from her face. Dillon hung up the phone. “The on-call doctor will phone us back in a few minutes. Let’s get her dressed.” Dillon grabbed a pair of loose-fitting warm-ups and helped Gavin dress her. Bless her heart, she was trying to remain calm, but tears still rolled down her cheeks. When the phone rang, they all jumped. Dillon dealt with the on-call doctor and explained what was happening. Dr. Avery explained that it could very well be nothing at all, but since he didn’t know her, he wanted to meet them in the emergency room of the Woman’s Hospital and check her out. He agreed and hung up. “Okay, baby. We’re going to the hospital for the doc to see you. He doesn’t think it’s anything to worry about, but he’s not your regular doctor, so he isn’t going to take a chance.” “Okay. I’m ready. Gavin dressed me.” She looked up at Gavin and squeezed his hand.

Dillon was glad his brother was there to help. He didn’t know how he would have been able to handle her and his own emotions as well. Right now, he was doing okay, but the minute he touched her to help her, he felt everything begin to close in on him. “Gavin, can you carry her? I’ll go get the truck warmed up.” “I’ve got her, Dillon.” Gavin picked her up and carried her down stairs. He sat on the couch with her while he waited for Dillon to tell them the truck was ready. On the drive over to the hospital, Briana began to cry. Gavin tried to calm her down, but she was obviously scared. Dillon didn’t know what to do. “My stomach hurts,” she finally told them. “Easy, baby. You’re scared. Just try and relax. We’re almost there.” Gavin was staring at Dillon over her head. Dillon didn’t dare take his eyes off the road. He gritted his teeth in an effort to remain in control. He wanted to hold her, but knew it wasn’t a good idea for him to be the one trying to keep her calm. Gavin was doing a good job. When they pulled into the emergency room drive, a nurse with a wheelchair came out to greet them. “What’s going on, everyone?” “She’s about eighteen weeks pregnant and started bleeding. Dr. Avery told us to meet him here.” Dillon filled the nurse in. Gavin refused to let go of her and carried her inside the emergency room. Dillon had to move the truck, then got stuck filling out the paperwork for her before they would let him back with them. When he got there, he found Gavin standing outside the room with his arms crossed and a seriously worried expression on his face. “Why aren’t you in there with her?” Dillon demanded. “The nurse is getting her ready for Dr. Avery to examine her. We can go in when he gets here, but the nurse wanted to get her set up without me in there.” Gavin put a hand on Dillon’s arm. “Man, she

could lose the babies. If she does, she’s going to be a mess. We’ve got to be strong for her.” “I know. I’ll be okay.” Dillon figured his anxiety was showing for Gavin to say something. A man in jeans and a navy-blue T-shirt walked up. He stuck out his hand toward Gavin. “I’m Dr. Avery. Are you Dillon?” “No, I’m Gavin, this is Dillon, my brother.” Gavin indicated Dillon. The doctor shook his hand. “Let’s go see what is going on. No matter what, you’re going to need to be strong for her.” Gavin nodded. “We know.” The doctor frowned. Then he closed his eyes and nodded. “Okay. Now I know why your names are so familiar. Her doctor filled me in since I take calls for him when he’s out of town. You’re in a ménage relationship. Right?” “Right. Is that going to be a problem?” Dillon asked. “Not as long as it doesn’t interfere with taking care of my patient. If it does, you’re out of there no matter what.” “Fair enough. We want what’s best for Briana and the babies.” “Let’s go see about her, then.” He knocked on the door and walked in.

Chapter Eighteen “Okay, here is what is going on,” Dr. Avery began, looking down at Briana. “You’re about eighteen or nineteen weeks along. Not quite twenty weeks. The babies are still intact and doing fine, but you’ve developed a little tear in the placenta where it’s attached to your uterus. What that means is that we are going to admit you to the hospital for a few days of monitoring to see if this hole seals up, or if we will have to go in and work on it.” “Am I going to lose my babies?” she asked with tears flowing down her face. “Honestly, I can’t tell you yes or no on this. It’s a serious problem. We are going to do everything in our power to save your babies. But I’m going to have to have your cooperation. That means you have got to calm down and stay in bed. No getting up at all until we see what we’re dealing with. Understand?” Briana swallowed hard around the knot threatening to choke her. She couldn’t believe this was happening. She hadn’t done anything to cause the tear. She was sure of it. “What caused it? I haven’t lifted anything or done anything that I can think of.” “Sometimes, it just happens. It’s not because of anything you’ve done. While we have you here, we’re going to give you some iron and see about bumping up your appetite some.” “See, baby, they’re going to take good care of you,” Dillon said. “Okay, I’m going to go write the admission orders. You’ll stay here until a room is ready, and then they’ll move you. Remember, no getting up for any reason.” He shook the men’s hands and left.

Gavin took one hand and Dillon her other one and stood next to her. They kissed her forehead and cheeks and whispered that everything would be okay in her ear. She knew they were trying to help, but it only made things worse. She kept sniffing, trying to stop crying. “Baby, do you want me to call and get Tina or Brandy here?” Dillon asked. “I don’t want them. I just want you two. I’m sorry. I really haven’t done anything to hurt the babies.” A fresh wave of tears welled up in her eyes. “We know you didn’t, baby. The doctor said it just happens sometimes. Don’t make yourself sick over this.” Gavin squeezed her hand and rubbed his cheek against hers. Nearly an hour passed before they had a room ready for her. They all three rode in the elevator to the second floor to a high-risk obstetric room. They strapped a belt around her to check for contractions and listened to the babies’ hearts beating. The men were mesmerized by the fast-beating little hearts. The nurses were in awe that she had two men there with her. Gavin pulled up a chair and sat on one side with Dillon on the other side. Both men appeared anxious, but were holding it all in well. She felt like a total wreck. She finally stopped openly crying, but a stray tear would fall every once in a while. She couldn’t help it. She didn’t want to lose her babies. “We love you, Briana.” Gavin’s words stopped her breath for a moment. “No matter what happens with the babies. We still love you and want you with us.” “You’re just saying that,” she whispered. “No, baby. I’m not just saying that. I love you with all my heart. I can’t stand seeing you hurting like this. If there was anything I could do to make it all go away, I’d do it for you.”

She turned to look at Dillon. His brother looked as serious as he did. “We love you, baby. No matter what. We want these babies as much as you do, but if it’s not to be, then there is nothing any of us can do but love each other.” Briana reached out with her hands and squeezed theirs. “I wish I could believe you. I want you to love me as much as I love you, but…” “We do love you. I fought it, Briana. But I fell in love with you back in Round Rock and wouldn’t admit it to myself. You’re everything to me. As much as I want our babies, I would choose you over them if it came down to it. You’re everything to me, baby.” Gavin bent over the bed and laid his head on her chest. Briana gently smoothed his hair down and stroked his hair. He meant it. He really did love her. If he did, then Dillon did, too. She turned and looked at him. He had tears in his eyes, but he smiled at her. “Do you love me, Dillon? Really love me?” “Baby, I’ve loved you since the first time I laid eyes on you. I’ve only fallen deeper and deeper in love with you these last few months. Nothing will ever take away how I feel for you.” “I love you, Dillon.” She brought his hand to her mouth and kissed it then turned and looked in Gavin’s eyes as he sat back up again. “I love you, Gavin. I want us to have our family. I don’t want to lose out babies.” “Settle down, Briana. You need to rest. We aren’t going anywhere. You rest and we’ll watch, okay?” Briana smiled a watery smile and nodded. She could trust them to watch for her. She closed her eyes and prayed for her babies before drifting off to sleep. ****

Later the next morning, Dr. Avery came in to go over her test results with them. “You’ve lost a little more blood than I would have liked. You’re already anemic. You’ve probably been that way for some time since you’ve adapted to it so well. We’re going to give you an iron infusion along with some other vitamins and nutrients. You really can’t afford to lose any more blood, Briana. I don’t want to risk giving you blood if we can manage to get around it.” “Why not?” Gavin asked. “Because it is always risky to the babies to have to give blood to the momma.” “Use our blood. We’re both O negative and related to the baby.” Gavin stood up. “If we have to, then that’s a viable option.” “I don’t want to risk Briana’s life. If she needs blood, then give it to her,” Gavin insisted. “No!” Briana shook her head. “Not unless it becomes necessary for them. I’m fine.” Dr. Avery sighed and shook his head. “I’m with Briana on this— for now. Right now, she’s stopped bleeding. I want to keep it that way. If she doesn’t start back, we’re going to be fine. I want the tear to have time to heal up. So no getting up at all.” “Her appetite has picked up,” Dillon pointed out. “Good. The more she eats, the better the three of them will be.” He smiled and left. “Baby, if you need the blood, you should take it. The babies will be fine. I’m more worried about you right now,” Gavin insisted. Dillon squeezed her hand. “He’s right. There will be other babies, but there’s only one you, Briana. I don’t want to lose you.” He swallowed. Briana couldn’t believe how lucky she was. They both loved her. She never dared dream it would be possible no matter how often she had dreamed it were true. They were so attentive to her needs and

didn’t let her cup get empty. One of them was always holding her hands. They never left her alone. If one needed to step outside to talk to Cole or one of the others who’d come by that day to check on them, the other one stuck by her side. She was never without their company or their love. They told her often and made sure she believed them. Briana wasn’t sure why they loved her, but they did, and she wasn’t going to ruin it by demanding to know why. It was enough that they did. Two days later, her regular doctor returned and met with all of them, including Dr. Avery. “It looks as if the placenta tear has healed up. I don’t want you on your feet at all for the next two weeks. I’m going to let you go home on bed rest with bathroom privileges only. The good thing about the tear healing is that it will be a small scar, which is actually stronger than the original tissue was. Still, you’re not healed to that point yet, so you need to be very careful.” All three of them agreed to be careful, and that she wouldn’t get up for any reason other than bathroom needs. “We’ll carry her so she won’t need to walk even then,” Dillon assured the doctors. “Just wait until I gain a lot of weight. Then you’ll be taking those words back,” Briana teased. “Honey, you gain weight and I’ll lift weights so I can carry you.” Dillon kissed her, and everyone laughed. Later that afternoon, Dillon eased her into their own bed at home. Home. It sounded even better than before. The house felt more like home now that she knew they loved her. She felt like she truly belonged there now. Gavin got on his knees by the bed and held her hands. Dillon dropped to his knees as well and handed something to Gavin.

“Briana. I love you with all my heart and all my soul. Would you do me the honor of becoming our wife?” Gavin asked, holding her hand. “You’re asking me to marry you?” She looked from one to the other. “Yes,” Dillon said. “You’d marry Gavin since he’s the oldest, but would still say your vows to both of us in a private ceremony with just the gang.” Gavin slipped a ring on her finger. “We love you and promise to do everything in our power to make you happy.” Briana didn’t even look at the ring. She just threw her arms around both men’s necks and squeezed. She couldn’t believe they wanted to marry her. They really did love her. They wanted to spend the rest of their lives with her. “Yes. I’ll marry both of you. I promise to do everything in my power to make you happy.” Each of the men grinned and began undressing. They slipped into bed on either side of Briana and wrapped her in their arms. She felt totally safe and completely loved from all sides. They might not be able to have sex yet, but she knew they wanted her, and she made sure they knew she wanted them by rubbing her hands up and down their cocks. “Baby, don’t. We can’t do anything,” Gavin reminded her. “I can’t do anything, but you can come on me. I can lick and suck you and you can come on my body so I know you really want me.” She squeezed their dicks at the base of the stalk then ran her hand back up again to rub over their mushroom heads. They moaned for her, and she knew she had them. They both crawled up the bed to the headboard and let her lick and suck on each of them in turn. First she licked all around the rim of the head, and then she licked along their slits until they were panting above her. She sucked one to the back of her throat, then the other one. The more she sucked, the more difficult it became to let go and move to the other one. She

wanted to suck them off, but knew they weren’t going to let her do that. When they got to the point that they were going to come, they stroked their cocks until they shot cum all on her chest. She reached out with her tongue and licked them each clean. Gavin immediately looked guilty. “What is it?” she demanded. “We got to come, but you don’t get to. It would be too dangerous for you to, um, do that right now.” “That’s okay. You can make it up to me later. I’ll remind you, don’t worry.” She winked at Dillon as he began to clean her up with a warm, wet cloth. “I expect you two to keep me sexually satisfied. I mean, with two of you, I would think you could keep up with me. Wouldn’t you think?” she teased. “I love you, baby,” Dillon said and kissed her. “I love you, Briana.” Gavin pulled her toward him for a kiss. “I’m sure glad you two decided I needed bodyguards back in Round Rock,” she said. “You weren’t so sure at first, though,” Gavin pointed out. “Well, whoever heard of biker bodyguards?” “Only for you, baby. Only for you.”
