Chapter One Cam switched channels on the television, bored out of his mind. Even though it was early, it was already pitch black. The thunderstorm the weather experts had been predicting for days was finally here. Which meant high winds and bucket loads of rain tonight—and lots of work cleaning up once it passed over. He sighed, the sound drowned out by the howling wind. “Storm’s hitting,” he commented to his brother Kent who sat, reading through some paperwork. Kent grunted. That was his standard answer lately. All he seemed to care about was work, work and more work. Cam, on the other hand, needed some fun in his life. Sure, they were trying to build their ranch up, to make it successful. But Cam needed balance. Kent used to want that as well. He used to be more light-hearted, more carefree. Until Delia. The bitch. “You know you’re getting more like Heath every day,” Cam commented, talking about their oldest brother. Kent continued his reading. “I’ll take that as a compliment.” “Well, it wasn’t. I’m talking about our brother pre-Ava. You know, before he found happiness, a beautiful wife and a son. The grumpy, bad-tempered boring Heath.” Kent sighed and looked up. “What do you want me to say, Cam?” “I don’t want you to say anything,” Cam said urgently. “I want you live again. To have some fun. You can’t let Delia ruin your life.” Kent’s dark gaze was piercing as he glared at Cam. “Do not say her name to me. And she is not ruining my life.” “Oh, no, then why—” Cam broke off as a knock sounded at the door. He frowned. “Who the hell would that be?” “Someone crazy, if they’re out in this storm. Better not be that sister of ours or I’m going to blister her butt.” “Tom might have words to say on that,” Cam commented as he rose and strode from the room. “Only because he’d want to do the spanking.” Tom, their brother-in-law wouldn’t hesitate to spank their sister if she’d put her safety at risk by coming out in this storm. Cam was still frowning as he moved down the hallway. Even their sister, Frankie, wouldn’t be foolish enough to drive in this weather. Their oldest brother, Heath, had impressed on her the importance of driving to the conditions. And right now, the conditions were dreadful. It was extremely dark, pelting rain hit the land, turning dirt to mud while the swirling wind was strong enough to push a grown man around. Cam opened the door, holding it with two hands to keep the wind from trying to steal it back. He had to drop his gaze until it hit a pair of bright blue eyes staring up at him through sooty lashes. She was tiny, so short for a moment he thought her a child. But they were no child’s eyes staring back at him. These eyes had seen pain and hardship. She held her arms tight around her shaking body, her clothes clinging to her slight curves.
He continued to stare until he realized she was talking. Shaking his head, he couldn’t hear more than a word or two over the wind, he grabbed her elbow and pulled her inside. Shutting the door, Cam turned to look at the shivering sprite dripping water over his hallway. “Who on earth are you?” Cam looked up as Kent entered the hall, staring at the woman in disbelief. “And what are you doing out in this weather? Don’t you have any sense, kid? If I was your daddy, I’d make sure you couldn’t sit for a week for endangering yourself like this.” The woman gaped at Kent in shock. She was soaked. Her short, dark hair lay flat against her head, her face pale and drawn. “I don’t think she’s a kid, Kent. Give her a chance to breathe,” Cam said in exasperation. Kent looked a little shocked then he stared at the shivering waif standing by the door. Kent sighed. “Get her a towel,” he ordered. “She needs a hot shower. She’s going to catch a cold staying in those clothes,” Cam argued, feeling surprisingly protective towards a woman he didn’t know. She stood there, staring between them both with a look of disbelief. Cam, along with all of his brothers held what could be considered rather odd views about women. They believed they should be coddled, protected at all costs. When they were out with a woman, they always paid the bill and opened doors. They also believed that the man should be the head of the household. That he should take responsibility for making the tough decisions, for ensuring the safety and happiness of those in his care. A woman should be able to rely on her man, to look to him for protection, to turn to him for anything. It was the way their oldest brother, Heath’s marriage worked with his new wife, Ava. Heath spoiled her rotten. But she had rules and boundaries that he set for her in order to ensure her happiness and safety. And if she broke those rules, pushed those boundaries too much then more often than not she ended up with a roasted bottom. Their sister’s husband, Tom, had the same beliefs. Which was just as well because their sister, Frankie, needed firm boundaries. She had a tendency to get herself into trouble. “E-excuse me,” the woman stuttered, her teeth chattering. “Is this-is this the Jamieson ranch?” “That it is, darlin’,” Cam drawled. “Why were you looking for us? Kent asked. “And in this weather. I thought you must have gotten lost.” She ran her hand over her sodden hair, sending droplets of water everywhere. “Oh, s-sorry,” she said, looking at Cam’s shirt in dismay as splotches of water covered it. He waved his hand. “No harm, darlin’. Ahh, why were you heading out here?” “I heard…umm, I h-heard in town that y-you wanted a housekeeper.” “For God’s sake,” Kent said harshly, making her jump. “So you drove out here in the middle of a storm? If we did want a housekeeper, she’d need to have more sense than that.” Cam glared at Kent as the poor woman’s shoulders slumped in defeat. He turned back to find her reaching for the door handle, ready to run. Cam rested his palm on the door, leaning over her. Her scent wafted up to him, sweet, floral…and damp. “You need to get out of those clothes,” he muttered. She gasped, leaning back against the door, trying to put as much space between them as possible.
“I n-need to leave. I’m sorry to bother you. I’ll just g-get out of your way.” “Not happening, darlin’. That storm is getting worse. There is no way I can let you leave now.” She continued to stare at the door. “Please, I’ll be fine. Just let me leave.” “What the hell are you standing around arguing for, Cam? Get her upstairs and find some more clothes for her. She’ll have to stay the night. It’ll give her a chance to explain exactly what she thought she was doing.” She stiffened even further. “You heard him, darlin’. Come on, it will all seem better once you’re warm and dry.” “Will it? Somehow I doubt it.” Her voice was low, husky and it stirred his blood. She turned, her gaze still lowered. Cam grasped her chin gently, raising her face. Tears swum in her eyes as she tried to tug her face free. “Hey now,” he soothed, wiping away the tears as they slipped down her cheeks. “Don’t you worry about the big, bad wolf over there, I’ll protect you,” he whispered. “Cam, stop joking around. She’ll get sick standing there, shivering. When you’re done showering I’ll expect you downstairs, young lady.” With that said, Kent turned and strode back into the living room. Cam sighed. “Come on, let’s get you dry and warm then I’ll try and soothe the beast.” “Oh,” she said as she followed him up the stairs. “I must h-have got my w-wires crossed. I t-thought you were brothers. Not, umm,” she trailed off and he glanced back, taking her hand to tug her along behind him. “Not what, darlin’?” Cam bit the inside of his cheek to stop from laughing. He didn’t want her to think he was laughing at her. “Umm, together.” He opened the door to the guest bathroom and ushered her inside, turning the taps on for the bath. “We are brothers, darlin’. But we’re close, we live together, work together and we share our women. Together.” Her eyes were wide as she gaped at him. He winked. “You share women,” she gasped. Her lips were small but plump and near blue with cold. He swore softly. “Yes, we share. Imagine it, two mouths on you, bringing you to pleasure, two sets of hands, one to play with your breasts, the other teasing your pussy.” She shivered, but he didn’t think it was with cold. “You shouldn’t speak to me like that! You don’t even know me. I need to leave. And you can’t stop me.” He would have backed down if he thought her truly afraid. Not that he would let her leave, but he would have soothed her. But it wasn’t fear in her eyes. It was arousal. “You’re going nowhere, darlin’. And if you don’t stop threatening to leave, I’ll have to do start getting strict. Didn’t the women in town tell you about us?” The residents of the small town they lived near accepted them for who they were on the whole, but they definitely thought them strange. Although that didn’t stop many of the women from searching them out. Wanting to fuck them. It certainly hadn’t stopped Delia. He forced his mind away from her.
“No they did not. And you can’t keep me here against my will. That’s kidnapping. I’ll ring the police.” “The only cop around here isn’t about to come out in the storm when he knows you’re safe and sound with us. We would never hurt you, darlin’. We’re not murderers or rapists. Now, enough talking. You’re freezing. I’m going to find you some clothes while the bath keeps filling, okay? Don’t move.” He didn’t wait for a reply but quickly stepped out of the bathroom, breathing deeply to try and slow his libido. His dick was hard, straining against his jeans as he grabbed one of his tshirts. She was so tiny it would be more like a nightgown on her. He didn’t want her to be cold, though, so he took a sweater as well. When Cam moved back into the bathroom, she was bent over, turning off the taps. Her pert wee bottom stuck out at him. Cam’s mouth watered. “Here you go, darlin’. You get yourself nice and warm. I’ll go downstairs and talk to my bear of a brother. When you’re ready, you come on down, all right?” “I thought he was a wolf.” She smiled a little, her face lightening for a moment. He grinned back. “He’s both. By the way, what’s your name?” “Bryony. Bryony Andrews.” “Well, Miss Bryony Andrews, welcome to the Double J.” He tipped an imaginary hat and exited the room. And he’d thought it was going to be a boring night.
Chapter Two Cam went to the spare bedroom and made up the bed with clean sheets, trying to cool his temper before he went to deal with his brother. When he’d done all he could to made the room more presentable, he stormed into the living room and stood in front of his brother, his hands on his hips. Kent looked up slowly. “What?” Cam raised his hands in the air. “You know, brother, I love you, but sometimes I don’t like you very much. You scared that poor girl half to death.” “If she’s so easily frightened, she shouldn’t be out on her own in the dead of night.” “One, it’s not even eight o’clock. And two, did you ever think that she didn’t have a choice? Her clothes are practically threadbare and she’s way too thin. Who knows when she last ate? Poor thing is probably down on her luck and you just rip into her!” “She’s a child. She should be at home, following her daddy’s rules.” Cam ran his hand through his hair. “I don’t think she’s as young as she looks. You should see her eyes—they’re this deep blue, gorgeous. But they’re old eyes. She’s been through a lot.” Kent stared at him in disbelief. “You only just met this girl and you’re going on about her eyes? She could be a thief or an addict. In fact, maybe you better wait outside the bathroom for her. Keep an eye out.” Cam snorted. “What the hell have we got to steal? Besides, I don’t get that feeling from her.” “Then you’re stupid. And who sent her out here? We’re not looking for a housekeeper.” Cam glanced away. “Cam?” Cam shrugged. “I’m sick of living in a pigsty. We’re both too tired after a day’s work to clean and cook, so I may have let it be known in town that we were looking for someone.” “Cam, you had no right to do that without discussing it with me.” Cam sat in the sofa. “I thought we’d get an older woman, probably one who already lives around here. I wasn’t expecting her.” “Ahh-hmm.” Cam glanced up to see Bryony standing in the doorway, looking unsure and delightfully innocent in his clothes. Her thin legs poked out the end of the t-shirt and sweater, both of which covered her knees. “For God’s sake, you could have given her some pants,” Kent muttered. Cam rose and glared at him. “Play nice.” He moved to Bryony and offered his arm gallantly. “Come, my lady, have a seat.” “You’re a fool,” she said jokingly, her lips twitching. He might be acting a fool but at least he’d gotten a small smile from her. She looked at Kent apprehensively as she sat on the sofa across from him. “I’m sorry to be such a bother. You don’t need to argue about me, I’ll be gone as soon as its morning.” “No, you won’t,” Kent said bluntly. “We’ll need to check the road first, no telling what this wind might bring down in the night. You’ll leave when we give you the okay.” She nibbled at her lip, drawing Cam’s attention to her mouth. Damn, she was cute. She was also nervous and scared. And who could blame her? She was stuck in a strange house with two large men and no way to leave.
“Maybe I should just go now,” she said quietly, her eyes darting around as if looking for the closest escape route. “Sit down,” Kent bossed. “I have a few questions for you.” She sat back staring at him in trepidation. “I know you don’t live in town so how did you hear about the job we have going?” Cam sat on another armchair, not wanting to scare her by sitting beside her. “Umm, I was just passing through. I asked at the diner if they had a job, the woman waitressing said no, but she’d heard you were looking for a housekeeper here.” “So you decided to drive out with a storm coming?” Kent asked incredulously. “I didn’t expect it to come on so quickly. I thought I’d have time to get out here and back before it hit.” “Where do you come from?” Cam asked. “Obviously you’re not from around here.” Her gaze slid away and he knew instantly that she wasn’t going to answer his question, not truthfully anyhow. “I move around a lot.” Kent leaned forward. Cam knew his brother had sensed her unease. “You must have grown up somewhere.” She shrugged. “My father moved us from place to place so often, it never really felt like we had a home.” “Little girl, rule number one in this household is no lying,” Kent growled. “So I suggest you rethink what you just said and give us the truth.” Bryony licked her lips nervously, her fingers tapping against her leg. “I grew up in New York. I left there when I turned sixteen. I’ve been moving around from place to place ever since.” “There, that wasn’t so hard, was it?” She glared at Kent, showing she did have some gumption. Even if she was foolishly daring the beast in his lair. “I don’t know what it matters. You don’t want me as a housekeeper, fine, I’ll leave and we’ll never see each other again.” Cam felt a stab of wrongness. She was meant to be here, he just knew it. He stared at Kent, willing him to feel it too. Kent was frowning. “You’re a guest in our house. I don’t let strangers stay here. Therefore, we will get to know you a bit better before you go to bed. Why are you looking for a job? Where did you last work?” “I was cooking in a diner in Reefton.” “Why’d you leave?” Her lips pursued. “Or were you made too?” Kent asked. “Yes. But not because I was bad at my job. I’m a good cook and a hard worker.” “Then why, darlin’?” Cam asked gently even though he had a feeling he wouldn’t like her answer. She glanced over at him, hitting him with the full force of her gaze. “The owner took a fancy to me. His wife didn’t approve.” “You slept with a married man?” Kent’s voice was filled with disgust. Bryony grew paler, her mouth gaping open. Then she sat up straight, throwing her shoulders back. This made her breasts push forward. Cam shifted as his cock twitched.
“I most certainly did not. I said he took an interest in me. I tried my best to keep away from him. But one night he insisted I stay behind to help clean the kitchen. I, he, I,” she stumbled over her words. Cam moved to the sofa and grabbed her hand, pulling it into his when she tried to resist. “What happened, darlin’?” “He, umm, trapped me up against the bench and, umm, touched me.” “He raped you?” Kent’s voice was low, deadly. She shook her head. “No, I, umm, kneed him in the…umm…you know.” She blushed. “And then I ran. His wife turned up later at the, umm, place where I was living and told me not to bother coming back, that I should move on because I wouldn’t find work in this town after she spread the word that I was a-a slut.” “Oh, baby.” Cam gathered her stiff form close. She resisted him at first but then surprisingly, relaxed against him, letting him rock her. “And so you decided to take a job working for two strange men? Is that wise?” Kent’s voice was softer as he spoke. “Well, I…” her voice trailed off. It was obvious she was trying to think up something to explain herself. “I suggest you try the truth, you won’t like what happens if you break the rules of this household,” Kent warned. Bryony gaped at him. “Did you just threaten me?” He raised an eyebrow. “It wasn’t a threat but a promise. Now be a good girl and answer our questions honestly.” “I’m a grown woman, not a child.” “All the more reason for you to speak the truth. A grown woman should show more sense. You break the rules around here and you suffer the consequences. If you want a job here, best to know what you’re facing from the start. I won’t hide who I am.” Bryony gaped at Kent who stared back at her coolly. Cam knew he was trying to scare her off. “Better just do as he says, darlin’.” “He means it?” she asked Cam incredulously. “Oh, yeah.” She shook her head. Her shoulders slumped once more. He hated to see her so downtrodden. He wanted to fill her with self-confidence, to make her see how gorgeous she was. “I thought it would be good to have a live-in job. And, well, the last five towns I asked in didn’t have any job openings.” And she was getting really desperate, Cam reckoned. It was obvious she was out of money and desperate for a place to stay. Cam stared at Kent, silently telling him to offer her a job. Kent narrowed his gaze. “Bryony, perhaps it’s best you go to bed now,” Kent commanded. Bryony glanced up at the clock and frowned. She opened her mouth, obviously prepared to argue that it was too early when Cam grabbed her hand. “Come on, darlin’. I’ll show you to a guest room. Work starts early on a ranch. We go to bed early and we rise early.” He led her upstairs and into a room at the end of the hall. That way if she tried to leave, she’d have to go past both his and Kent’s room. No way one of them wouldn’t hear her.
Cam opened the door and pushed her inside. “Go on, you look beat. Everything will look better tomorrow.” “Will it?” Her gaze was jaded. “Somehow I doubt it.” He couldn’t help himself. She seemed so darn dejected. Leaning down he took her lips with his, kissing her deeply. Her lips parted and he slipped his tongue into her mouth, drinking from her. She was stiff at first, but as he continued to kiss her, she relaxed, leaning into him. He finally broke it off; knowing now wasn’t the time or the place. Cam stared down at her, tapping his finger against her lips. Her eyes were glazed with passion. “Save that thought for later, darlin’. For now, get some sleep.”
Chapter Three Kent stared at the page before him, unable to read the words. Instead his mind was captured by a pair of beautiful dark blue eyes. Each time she’d nibbled nervously on those lush lips, his cock had stirred, growing impossibly harder. And each time that happened, he got angrier. He wasn’t looking for a woman. Women were trouble, a distraction he didn’t need. He was trying to build a future for himself and his brother. He didn’t need some dark-haired witch filling his thoughts and making his cock hard. He knew Cam blamed Delia for Kent’s attitude. But it wasn’t entirely her fault. Kent had gone into that relationship with unreal expectations. Of course no self-respectable woman was going to want two men, two permanent lovers, two dominant men ruling over her. Kent was too hard, too rough for a woman. Which was part of the reason he shared with Cam. He was worried he’d scare a woman by himself. Cam softened his edges, bringing gentleness and humor. But what sort of woman would want them both? Particularly with their views on how a relationship should work. No, it was a dream he couldn’t have. He’d continue to share women with Cam until his brother found the one. Then he’d back off, leave them to it. Could Bryony be Cam’s? An immediate surge of denial rattled him. He didn’t want her to be Cam’s. He wanted her for him as well. For both of them. But he couldn’t have her. For all that she was older than she looked; she was still a baby, an innocent. He could tell by the way she’d stumbled, blushing over telling them about the incident with that bastard boss of hers. He looked down and realized he was scrunching the paper he held, his hands forming fists. Cam re-entered the room, storming over to where he sat. “What the hell was that? Are you trying to scare her off?” his brother raged down at him. Kent held back a tired sigh. “She can’t stay, Cam.” Best she found out what a bastard he was now. “Says who? Last time I looked my name was still on the ownership papers for this place. I want her to stay. I’ll pay her wages out of mine if I have too.” “You want her.” “Damn straight and don’t tell me you don’t.” “We know nothing about her. She walked in our door an hour ago and already you’re dreaming of picket fences and babies.” He tried to instill some disgust in his voice but truthfully he understood how Cam felt. The fact he didn’t know her meant nothing. He knew she was his. Theirs. “She’s not Delia, Kent. She’s not going to betray us. She’s down on her luck, she needs a job.” “She’s a kid. If you take her on as a housekeeper then you can’t just pounce on her. That would make you no better than her old boss.” Cam looked at him in shock. “What do you take me for? Yes, I’m attracted to her, but I can keep my dick in my pants.” Kent glanced away. “Come on, I know you’re interested in her as well. I can sense it. I know you, Kent. Let her stay. We could give her a trial period. Get to know her.”
“If you want her, fine. But I won’t be a part of this.” Cam gaped at him. “But we’ve been sharing women for years.” “She’s not right for me.” Kent shook his head. “She’s too innocent. I’d scare her away the first time I touched her. Do you think she could deal with my need to control her?” He pointed his finger at his younger brother. “But you don’t touch her unless she comes on to you. Last thing that girl needs is to feel pressured into something by another employer.” Cam’s hands turned to fists and Kent felt sure he was going to deck him. Hell, he would deserve it. Then Cam relaxed. “You know, for someone who says you don’t want her you sure are being protective of her.” Kent snorted and rose. “Just trying to avoid a law suit.” “Sure, you keep telling yourself that, brother.”
Chapter Four Bryony snuggled into the soft bed sleepily. She was so comfortable, more comfortable than she’d been in a long time. She never knew a bed could feel so wonderful. She sat up, suddenly wide awake. Bryony peered around the room in fright. Where the hell was she? She didn’t recognize the sparsely decorated bedroom with its single dresser and white painted walls. A pair of dark brown eyes swum through her mind. One filled with caring and humor, the other stern and dominating. She was at the Double J Ranch. Damn. She’d landed herself in trouble this time. She really hadn’t meant to get caught in that storm. She should’ve waited. Should’ve just slept it out in her car. It wouldn’t have been nearly as comfortable as where she was right now, but this was a false comfort. The trouble lay outside her bedroom door. Trouble she wasn’t going to be able to avoid. At least the storm had stopped. She rose and looked out the window, grimacing. The wind may have died away but the rain was still coming down, hard. It was going to be tough going, driving her crappy car-which didn’t even have a working heater-through this downpour. But she daren’t stay another night. Bryony flushed as she thought of Cam and Kent. They were two attractive men. Kent was filled with brooding intensity. She was willing to bet that when he fell, he fell hard and that any woman under his care would have his full attention. She’d never be able to hide anything from him, never be able to hold any part of herself back. He’d demand all of her, and give her his all in return. Cam was different. Lighter, full of fun with a wicked, delicious mouth. He’d soften the effect of Kent, bring laughter to any relationship. Make a woman feel cherished and carefree. He was taller than Kent, slimmer, but no less muscular. Dear Lord, what would it be like to be between them, to feel their hard bodies encasing her, loving her? She shivered. She should be shocked by the thought of two men. But truthfully, the idea made her hot. They were arrogant, bossy, sexy as sin and she could not stop thinking about them. But they weren’t for her. No, they were destined for a woman who was beautiful, smart, and strong enough to hold them both. Not an unemployed, uneducated, homeless woman like herself. “Oh, boy, Bryony, why can’t you keep out of trouble?” She was desperate for a job. She had five dollars left to her name and no idea what she was going to do. Tears threatened but she forced them back. They wouldn’t help. They never did. Today she needed to drive on and hope there was enough gas left in her car to get her to the next town. Once she got there, well, she’d face that when she had too. Looking around, she sighed as she realized she’d left her clothes in the bathroom. Bryony opened her door and nearly stepped right on top of them. Lying on the floor outside her door were her clothes, clean and dry, if not that neatly folded. Silently, she thanked Cam; sure it must have been him, and retreated back into the bedroom to dress. After using the bathroom she walked down the stairs. As she made it to the hallway, she looked at the front door. Pausing, she nibbled at her lip. She could just go, just walk out the door and drive off.
But no, that was rude. She had to thank them for their hospitality. Besides the smell of toast from the kitchen had her stomach rumbling. She started towards the back of the house where the smell was drifting from. Cam stepped out of a door at the end of the hall. “Ahh, there you are. I was coming up to check on you. Time for breakfast. Come on.” He gestured to her. She squared her shoulders, ready to face Kent and his disapproving stare. But the kitchen was empty except for Cam. “Have a seat.” He gestured at the small table. “Do you want some coffee?” “Yes, please. Where’s Kent?” “Outside, tidying up. He’ll be in in a moment.” Cam placed plates overloaded with fried eggs, bacon and toast on the table. “Thanks for cleaning my clothes,” she said. He raised his eyebrows. “I didn’t.” “Then who?” The back door opened and Kent walked in, a blast of cold wind following him. “Cold out there this morning.” He stared over at Bryony, nodding. She nodded back, blushing as she realized he must have cleaned and dried her clothes. “It doesn’t look very nice outside.” She glanced out the window with trepidation. It was going to be a cold night tonight. “It isn’t. There’s still work to be done, though. A lot of fences that need mending. And there are lots of branches across the road. They won’t be cleared for a day or two,” Kent replied as he grabbed a plate and filled it with food. “Umm, thanks,” she said with surprise as he placed the huge plate of food in front of her. He just grunted and started to serve himself. The bacon was burned and the eggs were rubbery. But boy, was it heaven to eat her fill. “Slow down, darlin’. You’ll make yourself sick.” Bryony looked up, flushing when she realized they were both staring at her. Cam with concern, Kent with a dark frown. “Sorry.” She wiped her mouth with a napkin. “How long since you ate?” Kent asked. She picked up a piece of toast and took a bite. It was so burnt it was inedible. These guys really needed some help in the kitchen. “I asked you a question, Bryony.” Kent’s dark voice shivered over her body and her nipples hardened. Cam’s thigh brushed against hers, heating her. What the hell was wrong with her? She’d never felt like this before about any man, let alone two men at once. Maybe Mavis Steeples was right. Maybe she was a slut. “Bryony,” Kent growled. His patience was at an end. “Oh, umm, I had some lunch yesterday.” “Yeah?” Cam said with clear disbelief. “What was it?” She lowered a gaze. “An apple,” she muttered. “And?” Cam prodded. “And some water.” She raised her head. She would not let them make her feel ashamed of herself. But neither of them were looking at her. Instead they stared at each other in some sort of silent communication.
“Look, I think I’m going to take off, so thanks for the bed and breakfast.” She made to stand when Kent’s hand reached out and grabbed hers. “Sit. You’re not going anywhere.” “What my brother is trying to say is that with those fallen branches it’s not safe to drive out there. We’d like very much for you to stay,” Cam said with a smile. But his eyes were stern, he wasn’t going to bend. “How long will it take to clear the road?” she asked, panicking slightly as the touch of Kent’s hand on hers made her skin tingle. Kent shrugged. “A few days.” “Oh.” She nibbled on her lip. Cam’s hand covered her free one. “Guess you’re stuck with us.” *** Bryony pulled the roast from the oven. Perfect. Now, she just had to wait for the men to come in. They’d been out all day. They hadn’t even come back for lunch. It was growing dark now, though, and the wind was picking up again. She’d spent the day cleaning. The place had been a bit of a pigsty. But the kitchen was clean and so was the living room. Tomorrow she’d start on the bathrooms. She stilled. Tomorrow. She might have to leave tomorrow. She should have left today. But each time she’d gone to leave something had pulled her back. And it wasn’t Kent’s stern order not to leave the house. Or at least she told herself it wasn’t. The door to the porch slammed and she heard them talking in low murmurs before they entered the kitchen. “Hey there, darlin’, something smells good.” Bryony smiled at Cam as he walked in, sniffing hopefully. “Well, dinner’s ready when you are,” she replied. Her smile faded a little as Kent strode in, his expression cold. “You’ve been cooking?” he asked, looking around. “And cleaning by the look of this kitchen.” “I hope you don’t mind,” she said quickly. “It didn’t feel right just sitting around all day, doing nothing. And I like to cook.” “We don’t mind, do we, Kent?” Cam elbowed his brother none too gently. “Sure, thank you,” Kent replied, surprising her. “We’ll just clean up and then be right back, darlin’.” She let out a deep breath as they left. Bryony cleaned some imaginary dirt off the counter, trying to distract herself from imagining the two of them naked, showering. She was so deep in thought she didn’t even hear Kent until he spoke. “The kitchen looks good.” She turned with a gasp. “Oh, I didn’t hear you. Umm, thank you. I couldn’t cook with the way it was.” “Pigsty, wasn’t it?” Cam said cheerfully as he entered the room and took a seat at the table. Bryony uncovered the dishes she’d set down. “Wow, this looks amazing, darlin’. You’ve been busy.” She shrugged, standing there a little awkwardly. She wasn’t used to being praised.
“Sit,” Kent ordered, grabbing a plate and filling it. Again, he put an overloaded plate of food in front of her. “Eat.” “I can fill my own plate you know,” she protested. He merely raised his eyebrows. “Man, it seems like a long time since those sandwiches we had at lunch,” Cam broke the tense silence. “Oh, so you took some lunch with you?” she asked. Cam nodded. “Normally do. Hope you found something here to eat.” She dropped her gaze, not wanting to answer. They seemed to have some sixth sense when it came to her lies. “Bryony?” Kent asked quietly. “What did you have for lunch?” “Oh, I was so busy I kind of missed it.” That was almost the truth. She was so used to going long periods without eating that she hadn’t noticed she was hungry until around three. And then she’d figured she might as well wait for dinner. Plus she’d felt funny just helping herself to what was in the fridge. It was different when she was cooking for him. A warm hand grabbed hers. She looked at Kent in surprise. “You can’t afford to skip meals, Bryony. You’re too thin as it is. You’ll eat three meals tomorrow.” She shifted, uncomfortable with the reaction of her body to his stern voice. “I won’t be here tomorrow.” “Actually, darlin’, you will be,” Cam contradicted her. “We’ve decided to give you the housekeeper job.” “You have?” She gaped at them both. “Why?” “Well, you can obviously cook. You can clean. And we’ve got some long days of working ahead of us. We need the help. So, will you stay?” She thought about it. She shouldn’t stay. Being around them did things to her that she’d never experienced before. They were a temptation she couldn’t give in to. But what other choice did she have? She had nowhere to go, no money, and no job. And besides, a big part of her didn’t want to turn her back on them. “Yes, thank you.” “Good,” said Kent. “We’ll talk about what will be expected of you later. Where are your car keys?” She was taken aback by the change of subject. “My car keys?” she asked in confusion. He nodded impatiently. “I’ll get your bags out and move your car to our garage. You didn’t take them up to your bedroom already?” “Ahh, no, but if you tell me where to put my car I can do all that.” Kent held out his hand. She stared at him. Cam wiped his mouth on a napkin. “Might as well just give them to him, darlin’, he can be more stubborn than a mule. He won’t argue with you. He’ll just do what he wants. If you don’t give him the keys he’ll just find some other way to move your car.” “Yeah, I’ll call a car wrecker to come get it. It’s a wonder that car still works, it looks like it’s held together with tape.” Parts of it actually were.
“I don’t need you to run around after me. I’m your employee now, not your guest.” Kent didn’t answer her. With a sigh, she reached into her pocket and drew out her car key. Kent left and Cam helped her clear the table. She filled the sink, surprised when he picked up a towel. “I can do these, you go rest. I’m sure you’ve had a hard day.” “By the look of this kitchen, so have you, darlin’.” She shook her head. “I’m used to working much harder than I did today. I’ll do more tomorrow.” He frowned, looking like Kent so much for a moment that her breath caught. Cam’s eyes were a lighter brown, his face less lined and somewhat softer. Kent’s facial features were harsher, stronger. But at certain times, with certain expressions, they looked very similar. “You won’t overdo things.” She nudged him with her hip. “Hey, bad enough Kent thinks he can boss me around, don’t you start, too,” she joked. Cam’s face was serious as he turned her to look at him. “Just because I’m more easygoing than Kent, don’t think I am a pushover. You disobey me and you’ll find out just how strict I can be.” She stared after him in shock as he strode from the room. Living with these men was not going to be a walk in the park. *** Cam glanced at the front door as it opened and Kent came in carrying a small bag. “You need help with the other bags?” Cam asked, leaning against the banister. “There were no other bags,” Kent replied, shutting the door around him with a bang. “And no joke, that car is held together with tape. There’s no way it should have been on the road, the tires are bald and her gas tank is empty. I don’t think she would have made it back to town.” “Just as well we offered her a job then,” Cam said as he followed Kent up the stairs. “You left her with the dishes?” Kent asked disapprovingly. “Just because we’ve hired her as a housekeeper doesn’t mean she has to do all the chores.” “Calm down, as if I would do that. I helped. In fact, I told her I didn’t want her doing too much.” He stood outside her bedroom as Kent dropped her bag inside. She’d only been here one night and already her scent lingered in the room. He rubbed the front of his pants. All day, his mind had kept wandering back to her, wondering how she was, what she was doing, remembering the taste of her as he’d kissed her. It had been hell, working with a hard-on. “I’ll lay down exactly what we expect from her tonight. I don’t like how pale she is, or that she forgot to eat lunch. That nonsense is getting hit on the head right now.” Cam nodded in satisfaction. “Just don’t scare her away.” “Where’s she gonna run too? I have the key for her car, remember?” They strode downstairs just as Bryony left the kitchen. “Come into the living room, Bryony,” Kent said gently. “We need to have a talk.”
Chapter Five Bryony followed them into the living room, trying hard not to stare at Cam’s butt. Damn, that man really filled out a pair of jeans. Hot. Very hot. “Take a seat.” Both men waited until she was seated on the sofa before they sat down on the two armchairs. They stared at her and she looked nervously from man to man. “Have you changed your mind? Do you want me to go?” she asked, tapping her fingers against her leg. “No!” Cam nearly yelled, making her jump. “No, darlin’,” he spoke quieter this time. “You have the job, you’re staying.” “Not that you could go anywhere anyway, Bryony,” Kent growled. “That car is not fit to be on the road, it’s an accident waiting to happen.” “It’s a good car,” she protested. “It’s a death trap and you won’t be driving it again.” Her jaw dropped. “But I need to get around.” “Why? Where do you have to go?” Kent asked. “Kent,” Cam warned. His brother turned to him, staring at him silently. Cam sat back, and let Kent take the lead. “Well, I might want to go to town,” she said. “If you need to go into town one of us will take you. I catch you even sitting in that car and your bottom will be red for a week, you hear me?” She gasped, waiting for outrage to hit her. Instead she was shocked by the simmering arousal that swamped her. “You can’t spank me!” He couldn’t be serious, could he? “You live on this ranch, you abide by my rules.” “Our rules,” Cam interrupted him. Kent nodded. “Our rules. And there are consequences if those rules are not followed. If our hands don’t follow the rules they get one warning then they’re out.” Her shoulders straightened. “That seems fair.” He shook his head. “Oh, no, little girl, the same doesn’t apply to you. We won’t be throwing you out. You have nowhere to go. I’m not letting you leave here with, what, ten dollars in your back pocket?” She was silent. “Am I right? Where were you going to sleep tonight, Bryony? In your car?” His voice grew colder, darker and she could see temper in his eyes. “It’s no business of yours if I was.” “I’m making it my business. You agreed to take the job. It’s very simple. Follow what we say and everything will go smooth. Disobey me or Cam and you’ll end up in trouble.” Bryony really didn’t know what to say. She should get up and leave. No way could they threaten her this way. Except it wasn’t disgust or anger she felt. It was pure lust. She was hellishly intrigued by the idea of one of them giving her a spanking. She glanced at their hands, wide, tanned…oh dear, she was in trouble. “Okay, what do you expect of me?” “First of all, no lying. Second is respect. We expect respect and we’ll give you the same. Next, no leaving the ranch without one of us—”
“But why? I’m a grown woman, I don’t need an escort.” “How are you planning to get off the ranch if you don’t have a car?” Cam asked. She nibbled her lip. “Don’t you have work vehicles?” Kent nodded. “But they’re all busy during the day and I don’t want you driving around on unknown roads in the dark. I have a truck, but no one drives it except me.” “Can you ride a bike?” Cam asked, obviously ignoring the killer look Kent sent him. She wasn’t sure if he meant a pushbike or motorbike. Didn’t matter, she couldn’t ride either. She shook her head. “So it’s settled,” Cam said with a smile. “No leaving the ranch without one of us.” “Anything else?” she asked, trying hard to keep a smile on her face. “Cam and I don’t want you wearing yourself out. You’re pale and tired after one day’s work. I can see you’ve been busy in the kitchen and in here.” He glanced around the room. “But there is no need to do everything at once.” “I’m fine. I’m used to working much harder.” “Well, life on a ranch can be hard. There’s always work to do and we want you to pace yourself. I also want you eating at least three meals a day. You need to put on some weight.” She bit her bottom lip to hold back a sharp retort. “We’re not usually here for lunch,” Cam said. “But it would be great if you could make us some sandwiches or something to take out with us. Dinner, of course, six nights a week, we can fend for ourselves on Sundays.” “What about breakfast?” she asked. “What time do you need that by?” “Normally we get up around five and do some chores then come in for breakfast. So, around six. Other than that, it’s keeping the house clean and tidy, doing the washing. We haven’t talked money.” Cam named a sum which seemed way too much to her. She frowned. “I’m already living here and eating your food. You don’t seem to want much in return. I shouldn’t get paid so much.” “We’ll decide how much to pay you.” Kent’s gaze narrowed as he stared at the sofa. “Did you move the furniture in here?” “Yes, I wanted to clean underneath.” It had taken her forever, become unfit. By the time she’d finished she’d been shaking and exhausted. He growled. “No moving heavy furniture. You could hurt yourself and we’d never know.” She shook her head. They were being ridiculous. “Do you know that you two take overprotective to a whole new level?” “What you planning for tomorrow, darlin’?” Cam quickly asked. “Umm, oh, I thought I’d clean the bathrooms and maybe start on the basement.” “Leave the basement,” Kent said, picking up some papers from beside his chair. “It’s dark and damp. You don’t need to go down there.” Bryony shook her head. What was she going to do with them? ***
Bryony walked up the stairs, pausing half way to catch her breath. Boy, she needed to take up some exercise. Although working around the house was taking all her energy at the moment. She waited until her heart beat slowed a little before resuming her hike up the stairs. Opening the door to Kent’s room, she placed his clean clothes on his drawers before backing out, careful not to linger. It would be too easy to wrap herself up in his scent and daydream about things she couldn’t have. She’d been here a month and her longing for them both seemed increase with every day that passed. She dreamed about them through the night and then spent the day constantly thinking about them. It was maddening. “Bryony, you in here?” Cam’s voice came from below and she gasped, looking up at the clock. How could it be two already? She hadn’t even eaten lunch. Her stomach growled a little but she ignored it, rushing into her room to grab her purse before starting down the stairs. “I’m here, sorry, just coming.”’ “Don’t run, darlin’, you’ll trip. You got your list?” “Yep.” She’d put it in her pocket so she wouldn’t forget it. This was the first time she’d left the ranch since she’d gotten here. Some of the other hands had picked up the groceries she’d ordered two weeks ago. Now they were running really low and both Kent and Cam had decided they needed a trip into town. Even though she was only going grocery shopping she couldn’t help the surge of excitement that ran through her. She loved the ranch but she needed a small break. “Good, Kent’s waiting outside. Let’s get moving.” He slapped her butt as she moved past him. Cam was constantly touching her, little caresses, holding her hand, putting his arm over her shoulders. Kent, on the other hand, seemed to be steering clear of her, only touching her where necessary. She shouldn’t be hurt by that but she couldn’t seem to help herself. Kent stood, tall and formidable, by a large, black truck. When he saw her, he gestured her forward and opened the back door, helping her inside. Once she was seated, he reached across with her seatbelt, belting her in. His arm brushed against her breasts and she shivered as her nipples grew stiff. “Sorry, I’ve been warming the truck, but it’s still cold out here,” he commented as he pulled away. Bryony blushed, grateful he’d misread her tremble as cold rather than arousal. Stepping back, he closed the door. They both got in and Kent drove off. *** Cam placed his hand on the small of Bryony’s back. She was so tiny next to him. He felt like a giant. Protectiveness welled in him. Having her live with them was a sweet kind of torture. One he didn’t ever want to give up. He wanted her, badly. Yet, had to force himself to hold back for fear of scaring her. They’d left Kent’s truck at the grocery store to get loaded with supplies, deciding to stop in at the diner while they waited. Cam steered her over to a booth and picking up a menu, handed it to her. “Well, well, well, look who’s here. The freaks.” All three of them glanced up as the waitress approached, a nasty look on her face.
“Great, what were the odds she’d be working?” Cam muttered. Bryony looked at Cam curiously but said nothing. “You got a nerve, showing your faces here,” the waitress spat out. Kent leaned back. “Last I knew you didn’t own the place, Sybil. We can eat here if we like.” Sybil snapped her chewing gum, a sneer crossing her face. “This your newest play toy?” She pointed at Bryony. Cam placed an arm over her shoulders, hating the way they trembled. Protectiveness rose and he narrowed his gaze at Sybil warningly. He wasn’t about to let some bitchy nobody upset Bryony. “You’ll keep a respectful tone, Sybil,” Kent warned. “Or what, Mr. high and mighty? You’ll scare me outta town like you did, Delia?” “Delia made her own bed. It was her decision to leave.” Sybil turned her cold eyes on Bryony. “Careful of these two. They’ll use you then kick you out on your ass.” With that she turned away on a huff. Cam was tense and knew Kent felt the same way. “Well,” Bryony said. “I guess we’re not going to hear today’s specials.” Cam looked at her in surprise. His lips twitched. He waited for her to ask what Sybil had been talking about, but she surprised him again. “Maybe we should just go. I wasn’t very hungry anyway.” Her stomach growled, making a liar out of her. “What did you have for lunch?” Kent asked. She stilled, her face blank. A sure sign of guilt. “Bryony?” Cam asked, gently raising her face so he could look into her beautiful blue eyes. “Did you remember to eat lunch?” She shook her head. “I lost track of time.” “Not good enough,” Kent said in a low voice. “You’ve been here a month and you still look as thin as when you arrived.” “Maybe we should take her to the doctor,” Cam mused. “She’s very pale.” “I’m sitting right here,” she said with a huff. “And I don’t need the doctor. I just lost track of time.” Kent grunted disapprovingly. “Hi.” They looked up as a younger, friendlier waitress approached. “What can I get y’all?” She took their burger orders with a cheerful smile. “Good. And don’t worry; I’ll make sure Sybil doesn’t spit in your food.” With a wink she disappeared out the back. They ate in near silence. Bryony left half her burger and most of her fries, making Kent frown. “Eat up.” “It was huge. I’m really full, Kent.” “What say we go?” Cam said, eager to leave. Kent pulled out his wallet at the same time Bryony did. He stared at her stonily as Cam whistled quietly. “Oh, darlin’, bad move. I suggest you put that away.” “I can pay for my own food.”
“You will do no such thing,” Kent stated quietly. “In case you missed the memo, darlin’, we’re old-fashioned men. When we take a woman out, we pay. No exceptions. Now put that purse away before Kent bends you over this table and roasts your ass in front of the whole diner.” Not surprisingly, she did exactly as he’d ordered. *** “Who’s Delia?” Bryony asked as Kent started up the truck. Kent’s hands tightened around the steering wheel before he let them relax. He should have known better than to come into town. Should have just let Cam bring Bryony in. But he’d wanted to spend time with her. For the first time in ages he looked forward to coming home each night. Was eager to walk through his back door to her shy smile. She was still a bit quiet around him, a bit unsure. Which was for the best, he told himself. She opened up under Cam’s teasing gentleness. But he would be too rough for her. It was obvious she’d fallen on hard times and Kent couldn’t give her softness, sweetness. If he claimed her, he’d have to dominate her. He’d want to know where she was, what she was doing all the time. He’d smother her. Oh, he’d spoil her rotten, treat her like a princess. He longed to give her everything, things she’d never had. But he was an arrogant, controlling man. He hadn’t always been this way, but since Delia had betrayed them, he’d grown colder. He knew it. So it was best that he stay away from her, leave her to Cam. Like she’d want him anyway. “Delia was a woman we used to date,” Cam replied. Kent shot his brother a hard look, but Cam just shrugged. “If she goes into town she’ll hear the rumors anyway. Better to tell her the truth.” Which was one of the reasons Kent didn’t want her going into town on her own. Cam obviously took his silence as agreement. “Both of you?” she asked. “Yes, both of us. But she didn’t turn out to be what we hoped. She betrayed us.” “She cheated on you?” Cam turned to face her. “Yes. Kent went round to her place one night and caught her in bed with a friend of ours.” “What a bitch!” Kent jolted in shock, staring at Bryony through the rearview mirror. She looked furious, her hands clenched in fists on her lap. Cam chuckled. “Yeah, she was. But she didn’t appreciate us dumping her. She spread some rumors about us, things you might hear in town.” “Like what?” “That we tried to force her to sleep with other men and when she said no we dropped her.” “What a cow. Anyone with any brains would know that you two would never share.” Kent raised a brow at Cam. “Ahh, we do that all the time, darlin’,” Cam said slowly.
“Yes, with each other. But not with other people, right? I mean, you both seem like you’d be very possessive of a woman you were involved with.” “We are,” Kent replied. “Any woman of ours would have to love us to put up with our possessiveness. We’d dominate her, rule her—” “Adore her,” Cam added, frowning at his brother. “Cherish her, treat her like a princess.” “She’d be under our control. Loved, but never completely free. I don’t think we’ll ever find a woman that could live that way.” “You’d want her to obey you? All the time? Not just in the bedroom?” “This isn’t a game to us. It’s a lifestyle. Growing up, our father was firmly the head of the household,” Cam explained. “He made the rules and enforced them sternly, but fairly. Don’t get me wrong, he wasn’t a dictator and neither are we. But there are certain points on which our mother knew our father would not bend. Our mother was as strong-minded and outspoken as they come. She had our father wrapped around her little finger. But that didn’t mean he wouldn’t take her to task if she put herself in any sort of danger. And she knew she could always rely on him to take care of her and us. We would need a woman who was looking for a strong man, someone who wasn’t afraid to take charge. It would have to feel right.” “I would think a lot of women would want that. To know they could rely on someone to take care of them, provide them with a sense of security, of safety.” Kent could hear the wistfulness in her voice and for the first time felt a surge of hope. “I think she might be overwhelmed by two of us, though,” Cam said carefully. Kent pulled up in front of their house. He turned off the engine, but felt reluctant to move. She shrugged. “Well, I guess then she wouldn’t be the right girl for you guys, would she? If she didn’t love you both.”
Chapter Six Bryony pulled the muffins from the oven, wiping a hand over her forehead. She moved her hand down over her stomach, feeling queasy. She should eat some lunch, she knew, but the thought of food made her feel ill. Sitting in a chair, she rubbed her forehead. She hadn’t slept well for the last three nights, her mind kept drifting back to the conversation she’d had with Kent and Cam on the way home from town. What a bitch that Delia was. And a fool. It was her loss. If Kent and Cam were Bryony’s, she’d never look at another man. Who could? Those two would hold her whole attention. She had to admit, she’d been a bit shocked by their views. Before she’d come here, she’d never known there men were like them. Men with strength, integrity. She knew they’d give all of themselves to the woman they chose as theirs. And although they would tend towards overprotectiveness, it would be worth it. To be with them. To be loved by them. Bryony shook her head. What the hell was she thinking? She was their housekeeper. She was homeless, for god’s sake. She’d never made a success of anything. Everything she touched fell apart. This would be no different. Eventually, she’d do something wrong and they would kick her out. No, she should just do her job as well as she could and hopefully she could hold on to this job longer than the others. Standing, she swayed, black dots dancing in front of her eyes. Bryony breathed deep as nausea bubbled in her stomach. “Stood up too quickly,” she muttered, holding on to the table until her vision cleared. She didn’t have time to sit around. There was too much to do. She’d decided to start a vegetable garden. Bryony knew nothing about gardening, but figured it couldn’t be too hard. It even looked as though there had been one at some stage. So all she needed to do was rework the soil and plant some seeds. Right? She’d found some seeds in the pantry the other day, but the weather hadn’t cleared enough until now for her to get out and work outside. It was cold today, but at least the wind had died down. She put on one of Kent’s jackets. It fell past her knees, but it would protect her from the cool wind. *** Kent watched as one of the ranch’s pick-ups sped toward him. He frowned, wondering which of the hands was driving like a maniac. He was going to chew their ass out, whoever it was. “Boss!” He raised his eyebrows in surprise when he saw it was Scott. The younger man was one of his most level-headed workers. “You’re going to wreck that truck driving like that, you fool.” “Boss, its Bryony. She fainted.” “What?” Kent felt the blood drain from his face as he dropped the piece of wire he’d been holding.
“What happened? Why didn’t you just use the radio to get hold of me?” “I tried, you wouldn’t answer. One moment she was digging at the ground, next she dropped in a dead faint. Luckily, I was back there, getting some more equipment. I picked her up, put her on the couch. I let Cam know but he’s out on horseback. It’s going to take him longer to get back” “So she’s by herself?” Kent yelled as he climbed into his truck. “No, I called in Wally to sit with her.” Wally did all the cooking for the men. He was an older guy, nearly in his sixties. “Good. Send someone out for Cam then tidy up here, will you?” He didn’t wait for Scott’s reply, instead racing away. Back to his woman. *** “Let me up, Wally,” Bryony said. “I feel fine, now.” Wally glared at her, his bushy gray eyebrows nearly joining as he frowned. “You won’t be moving until one of your men get here. I ain’t having you fall on your head on my watch.” He crossed his arms across his wide chest, glowering sternly as he sat in the armchair across from her. Each time she tried to rise, he gently pushed her back down. “One, they’re not my men, they’re my bosses—” He snorted. “I seen the way they look at you, girlie.” It was her turn to frown. “And two, I am not going to fall over. I feel fine.” Bryony sat up. Wally rose, his arm outstretched. She stood. “See, fine.” “Bryony Rose, you lie back down right now.” Kent’s booming voice had her obeying immediately, much to her chagrin. He strode into the room, tension riding him like a dark cloud. Wally sent him a relieved look. “Thank God you’re here. I swear, looking after this little girl is harder than breaking in a greenhorn,” he grumbled as he walked from the room. Kent scowled down at her. “I better not catch you trying to get up again. Why the hell didn’t you tell us you weren’t feeling well? We would’ve put you back to bed, where you should be right now.” He put a wide palm over her forehead, obviously feeling for a temperature. She moved her head away with a huff. “Kent, I feel fine.” “You don’t just faint for no reason. You’re very pale. I’m taking you to the doctor.” “No, you’re not.” He couldn’t, she didn’t have any insurance. Besides, she really did feel better. A little tired and faint, but he didn’t need to know that. Kent frowned, not listening to her. “I’m putting you to bed then I’ll ring the doc.” He scooped her up in his arms. Bryony’s breath caught at the feel of him so close. Her pussy pulsed in reaction to his strength as he easily carried her upstairs and placed her gently on the bed. He pulled his jacket from her and then tugged off her shoes. Then he pulled back the covers. “In you go.” Bryony blew out a deep breath, praying for patience. “Kent, I can’t go to bed. I have work to do. I have to put dinner on. Besides, I feel fine.”
He merely stared down at her. With a sigh, she did as he’d ordered; knowing he wouldn’t argue with her, he’d just wait until she did what he wanted. “Stubborn man.” “Stay there, I’m going to ring Tom.” Before she could ask who Tom was, he was gone. Bryony lay there, tapping her fingers against the bedspread. “This is ridiculous,” she said, throwing off the covers. “I feel fine. There is nothing wrong with me.” “You know they say talking to yourself is a sign of madness, right, darlin’?” Bryony looked up at Cam with a start. “I didn’t even hear you come in. What are you doing home?” “Well, apparently, you fainted in the garden. Want to explain why you’re getting out of bed?” “Because I am not sick. I have too much to do to lie around and you and Kent need to go back to work. I don’t know what all the fuss is about.” “I rang Tom.” Kent moved in behind Cam, frowning as he saw Bryony was sitting up. “He said we should take her to the doctor, have some blood tests done. It could be to do with her low body weight. And he said if she’s pale that she could be lacking iron. We’ve got an appointment with the doc in an hour.” Reaching down, he scooped her up in his arms. “Go get the truck warmed up will you?” he asked Cam. “Wait, no, Cam. We’re not going anywhere.” They ignored her. “Kent, listen, I don’t have insurance. I can’t go to the doctor.” Kent nodded. “Figured as much. Don’t matter.” “Yes, it does. I can’t afford it.” “Didn’t I tell you? One benefit of working for us is health insurance. I forgot to set it up. So I’ll cover the cost today since it was my fault.” Yeah, right. The man never forgot a thing in his life. He bundled her up in a blanket before walking outside to the truck. Cam opened the back door and Kent placed her inside. “Do you feel alright? Maybe you should lie down.” Bryony felt her annoyance flee in the wake of the very real concern in his eyes. She placed a hand on his cheek, loving the rough feel of him. He always carried a five o’clock shadow, making him look slightly dangerous. “Kent, I’m fine. I promise.” He nodded and shut the door. Instead of climbing in the front seat as she’d expected, Cam opened the other back door and hopped in beside her. He did up her belt then belted himself into the middle seat. “Come here, darlin’,” he said, pulling her against his chest. She went willingly, feeling exhausted. Before they got to the end of the drive she was asleep. ***
Bryony waited nervously in the doctor’s office. Kent and Cam sat on either side of her. She’d tried to get them to wait outside, but they’d insisted on joining her. The nurse had already taken her temperature, weight and blood pressure. “Right, Miss Sanders, is it?” Bryony was surprised by the handsome man that walked in. He didn’t seem much older than she was. He smiled at her kindly, his smile dying as he nodded at Cam then Kent. They nodded back coolly. No love lost there, obviously. “Yes, but call me Bryony.” “Okay, Bryony. Call me Gray.” She stared at Kent. She could’ve sworn he just growled. But his face was calm. “Can you tell me what happened? The nurse said you fainted. What were you doing? Have you been feeling ill lately?” “Umm,” she hesitated. Gray gave her a stern look. “If I’m to look after you properly, I need to know all the facts.” “You won’t be looking after her at all.” Surprisingly it was Cam who flared up not Kent. “She’s ours.” Gray narrowed his eyes. “Really? Maybe Bryony needs someone who will look after her better. According to my notes, she’s very underweight, her blood pressure is low and I’d bet she’s anemic.” “Ahem, I’m sitting right here. And I can take care of myself.” All three men turned to stare at her. “I have a feeling something’s going on here that doesn’t involve me.” An awful thought occurred to her. She turned to stare at Gray. “You’re not the one who was sleeping with Delia, were you?” Gray frowned. Kent grabbed her hand. “No, sweetheart, it wasn’t Gray.” She was warmed by the endearment. “No,” Cam interjected. “Gray wasn’t the one we found with Delia.” “No, I’m just the poor bastard you two stole her from.” “Sounds to me like you got lucky then.” Whoops. She slammed her hand over her mouth as they all turned to stare at her incredulously. She shrugged. She wasn’t going to apologize for the truth. “Well, she sounds like a real slut. I think you’d be happy not to be involved with her.” What the hell did this Delia have over them all? “You weren’t dating her, Gray. We had no idea you were interested in her.” Gray stared at Cam for a moment then turned his gaze on Kent who nodded solemnly. Gray sighed and shook his head, looking down at his notes. “You didn’t fill in much in the way of your medical history, Bryony.” “Umm, well, I don’t really know much.” “Well, I can contact your old Clinic; get your notes transferred here. What was the name of your doctor?” “Oh, well, I don’t really have one.” She tensed. Gray looked confused. He glanced at the two men beside her. “You must have had one at some stage.”
She thought back. “Yes, I think so. But it was a doctor at one of those free clinics. I doubt I ever saw the same one twice, not that I can remember anyway.” Thankfully, Gray just nodded. “Alright. Well then, can we say you’ve been in fairly good health up until now?” She nodded. “I’m hardly ever sick. I feel fine now. I think it was just a one off.” “What were you doing?” “Ahh, gardening.” “In this weather?” he asked, surprised. “It wasn’t that windy. I hadn’t done much. I was just breaking up the ground.” “Hmm.” He wrote something down. “And how have you been feeling lately?” “Fine.” “Really?” he asked skeptically. “Well, kind of tired. I’ve been a bit short of breath lately. I need to do some more exercise, I think. Maybe I should take up running.” “I don’t think that’s the problem,” Gray replied. “I’m going to run some blood tests, but I think you’re probably anemic. Had you been feeling dizzy before? Any nausea?” “Ahh, yes, a bit dizzy and some nausea?” “Have you got much of an appetite?” “No, not really.” She answered the rest of the questions as Cam and Kent sat there quietly. When they were finished, Gray sent her off with an order to get more rest, to eat more and with a prescription for iron supplements. Cam ushered her out past reception, leaving Kent to take care of the bill. She felt guilty at the thought of the cost. “You should take it out of my pay.” “Excuse me?” Cam asked, his face stern as he helped her into the cab of Kent’s truck. “The medical bill, you should take it out of my pay. I know health benefits don’t really come with the job.” Cam pulled the belt over her. “Don’t push your luck, darlin’. We’re not very happy with you at the moment. You’ve been feeling unwell and keeping that from us and that’s really not good enough. So I suggest you drop any arguments about the damn bill, all right.” He shut the door and they waited in silence for Kent.
Chapter Seven “I can walk.” Bryony stared up at Kent’s stiff jaw line as he carried her up the stairs. No reply. “I need to start dinner.” Still nothing. She sighed as he walked into her bedroom. Cam was already there, turning down the covers. “What do you sleep in?” Cam asked. “I’m not going to bed. It’s four in the afternoon.” “You fainted.” “Gray said I was fine.” “He said you’re underweight, most likely anemic and that you need to get more rest.” “That doesn’t mean I have to go to bed. I’ve got to cook dinner. I’ll be bored to tears in bed.” “We’ll bring you up some books to read,” Cam offered. “You’re being ridiculous,” she replied in exasperation. “I’m not in the least bit tired.” She threw off the covers and stood. “Settle down, Bryony.” Kent grabbed her shoulders gently. She shrugged him off, attempting to walk around him. “No, don’t treat me like a child.” “Then stop acting like one,” Kent growled. “We’re only trying to do what’s best for you.” “What’s best for me is to go down and start dinner, which is what you pay me for. I’m your employee, remember. Nothing more. You can’t dictate to me like this.” Kent turned her, tucking her in against his chest and kissed her deep. She was so shocked for a start that she stood still and stiff. But the feel of his lips against hers, hot and sensual, melted her. She leaned into him, letting him take her weight as his tongue dipped between her lips. Cam stepped up behind her, sandwiching her between their hard, hot bodies. Bryony was heady with arousal, her heart beating frantically as heat stirred low in her belly. Kent pulled back. His hands clasped her face as he stared down at her intently. “Do you want this? Want us?” he asked her, his thumbs rubbing over her cheeks. “Yes,” she whispered. Cam pushed his erection into the small of her back and she groaned. “Be sure, Bryony, because once we do this you are ours. No going back, no changing your mind. You know the sort of men we are. Can you live with that?” “I want that. I want the two of you. I know what I’m doing.” “We won’t let you go,” Cam’s breath stirred her hair as he spoke. “You’ll be ours for good.” “I didn’t think you wanted me that way. I thought you saw me as someone to look after, protect. Just another employee.”
“Sweetheart, I don’t wear a hard-on all day for any of my other employees.” Kent smiled and it lightened his whole face. He grew serious. “If you can’t deal with this, though, Bryony, we won’t kick you out. You’ll still have a job.” Tears filled her eyes at his caring. “I want this. I want the two of you. It’s been driving me wild, being so close to you yet never touching you. Please, touch me.” They needed no more prodding. Together, they stripped off her clothes, pulling their own off in the process until the three of them were naked. Bryony stared at them both, wondering how she’d managed to get so lucky. Both had bodies that had seen hard work. Physical labor had sculpted their bodies into lean muscle. Cam stood taller, his body leaner, his skin paler than Kent’s. Kent’s tan went everywhere expect around his crotch and ass. She salivated over his wide shoulders and thick biceps. His stomach was chiseled, his waist trim and well-defined. “Oh man, oh man, I’ve gone to heaven, please don’t wake me up.” Cam chuckled. “Like what you see then, darlin’?” She nodded, reaching up her hands to touch both of their chests. “You’re beautiful, Bryony,” Kent whispered, running his hand down her side. He cupped one breast, brushing his thumb over the nipple. “Truly gorgeous.” Her breath caught in her throat as Cam lowered his mouth to her other nipple, sucking. “Oh man, oh man.” “Actually, that would be ‘Oh Kent, Oh Cam,” Kent teased. “Lay back on the bed, sweetheart, let us see you.” Blushing, she slowly did as he said. They moved so they stood side by side at the end of the bed. “Spread your legs, sweetheart. Let us see that beautiful pussy.” “Kent,” she protested. It would be different if they were touching her, making love to her, but to put herself on display? She couldn’t do that. Could she? “You gave yourself over to us, Bryony, did you not?” Kent asked calmly. “Be very sure of your answer, sweetheart, because giving yourself to us means giving us all of you. Every little piece. I can’t allow you to hold anything back. Are you sure you know what you’re getting yourself into?” She did know. She just hadn’t expected him to demand this of her so soon. But start as you mean to go on… She spread her legs in answer. “Good girl,” Kent crooned. “Now part the lips of your pussy. Let us see how wet you are.” Two pairs of chocolate-colored eyes zeroed in on her folds as she spread her lower lips apart, showing them exactly how excited she was. Each order seemed to drive her just a bit more wild. It was crazy, they’d barely touched her and already she felt ready to explode. “Beautiful. You have a very pretty pussy, Bryony,” Kent crooned. “Cam’s dying to taste it, aren’t you, Cam?” “Oh yeah,” Cam breathed. “He loves to eat pussy. He’ll be at you every moment he’s around you. At the dinner table, when you’re watching TV, showering, even doing the vacuuming. You never know when he’ll catch you.” Cam licked his lips as her heart beat so fast she swore it was going to explode from her chest.
“In fact, I think we’re going to have to ban her from wearing underwear, what do you think, Cam? Give us easy access.” Cam nodded. “Yep. And skirts, we’ll have to buy her lots of skirts.” “We may have to take our girl shopping.” As they spoke their hands were stroking their firm cocks, moving from the base to the head then back again. Bryony whimpered, moving restlessly on the bed. “Ah-ah, stay still, sweetheart,” Kent ordered. “We’ll tell you when you can move.” She stilled, watching as Kent kneeled on the floor. He dragged her towards him until her hips met the end of the bed. Then his mouth was on her pussy and he was licking, nibbling, biting. His whole mouth went into what he was doing and soon she was crying aloud, her hands fisting the bed spread beneath her. “Cam, oh Cam, please,” she begged. “Flip her, Cam.” She cried out in protest as Cam withdrew from her pussy and turned her over. He spread her legs even wider. “Damn, that’s one tasty pussy. I could eat it all day. I’m never going to get any work done thinking about it all day.” Cam placed two pillows beneath her belly, raising her up. “Please, I was so close,” she cried. Kent sat beside her, running his hand up and down her back soothingly. “Hush, baby, Cam’s going to take care of you soon. But I’m going to play with your bottom a bit first.” She tensed and attempted to rise, but Kent held her down. “What?” she gasped. “Uh-uh, no you’re not,” she said as his words took meaning. She glanced up at Kent. He raised a brow. “And how do you think we’re going to take you at the same time?” he asked. She blushed. “I thought one would be in my pussy and one in my mouth, or you know, one after the other.” “And sometimes we’ll do both those things. In fact, I’m taking your mouth today and Cam’s going to come in that sweet pussy. But sometimes, baby, we’ll want to take you together, one in your ass, one in your pussy.” “Isn’t that kind of gross?” she asked. She saw Kent glance at Cam, but was unable to read his look. But then Cam spread her butt cheeks and she felt his tongue lick her asshole. She screeched, trying to get up, but Kent held her down as Cam licked her, circled her asshole with his tongue then thrust it deep. She pounded her feet against the floor, screaming her protest even as her pussy wept with excitement at the dark delight. “Now was that gross? Because I will bet my last dollar it felt hot. I can see we’re going to need to teach you to obey our orders, young lady,” Kent said sternly. “I believe I told you to stay still. Both of us will be touching, licking and entering that asshole often, better hope you don’t scream every time we touch you there, or we’ll have the hands running to your rescue constantly.” Cam chuckled. “Give her five, Cam. We’ll start her off easy.” Five what?
Cam landed a hard spank to her ass. Bryony arched up with a cry. The second one landed in quick succession then the third. Her ass heated. He stopped, rubbing her bottom, his fingers dipping down to touch her pussy. “Wow she’s wet.” Bryony blushed but couldn’t protest as two more smacks landed on her bottom. “Oww, what was that?” “That was a spanking for being disobedient. Next time, we won’t go so easy on you. Now, be still. Cam, part her for me.” Her bottom cheeks, still flaming from her spanking, were spread and then something cool was squirted on her asshole. She trembled with a mix of embarrassment and arousal. A slick finger pressed against her bottom hole then slowly pushed inside her. Bryony twisted her hands around the bedspread to stop herself from moving as delicious shivers of pleasure raced through her body. “So this is a virginal ass, is it? We’ll have to prepare it well. Luckily, I know just the shop to visit to get supplies.” Kent worked her up to two fingers, slowly thrusting in and out of her. “This ass is going to look so sexy plugged, don’t you think, Cam?” “Oh yeah, Christ, Kent, don’t make me wait much longer, I need inside her.” Kent chuckled. “My brother’s eager for your pussy, Bryony, what do you say?” “Please, oh god, please.” “Alright, I’ll let him take your pussy, if you tell me how you feel about my fingers in your ass.” “What? No,” she groaned in embarrassment. His movements stilled. “Well, then, I guess there is no coming for anyone.” She cried out. “No, okay, please,” she begged them. “Well? And no lying. That will earn you a real spanking.” Did that mean the other one had been fake? Jesus, her butt still stung. “I like it, it feels forbidden, a bit dirty but exciting.” “Good girl.” Kent patted her then withdrew his fingers from her bottom. “Cam, get her in position while I clean up.” “Yes!” Cam near yelled, making her giggle. “On your hands and knees, darlin’. I’m going to take this pussy while you suck Kent dry.” She moved into position, spreading her legs when Cam tapped on her thighs. Kent returned, a smile on his face when he saw her. He lay on his back on the bed, between her arms, positioning his cock just below her mouth. “Suck me, baby.” Leaning down, Bryony took him into her mouth. At the same time, Cam entered her from behind. She groaned around Kent’s cock. Cam’s wide, thick shaft felt incredible as it pushed through muscle that hadn’t seen any action in a long time. “God, she’s tight. She’s like a fucking glove, sucking me in.” “Language,” Kent admonished through clenched teeth. He let out a hiss. “Sweetheart, your mouth is like heaven. Lick the head of my cock, that’s it. Now take just the head into your mouth. Suck. Oh, baby, that is so good. I can’t hold back.”
He thrust up into her mouth. Bryony opened wide, taking as much of him inside her as she could. Cam pounded into her, hitting that sensitive spot inside her time and again. She clenched down on him hard and he groaned. “I’m going to come. I can’t hold on,” Cam cried. “Help her come,” Kent ground out before he flooded her mouth with his cum. She swallowed him down, licking at him when he was spent. Then Cam’s finger flicked her clit, making her scream as he pushed her over the edge into heaven. Cam soon followed, yelling his satisfaction aloud. *** “Here we go, Cam’s special. Chicken soup and buttered toast.” Bryony smiled up at Cam tiredly. She was feeling so sleepy and relaxed. Apparently that’s what great sex did to a girl. Kent and Cam had nearly worn her out. After they’d given her the most amazing orgasm of her life, they’d run her a bath and washed her like she was precious. Then they had bundled her up in a blanket and brought her downstairs to lie on the couch. Kent had lit the fire while Cam made some supper. Kent looked down at his bowl of soup. “We need to start eating more red meat, build up her iron levels.” “I’ve got some steak in the freezer,” Bryony offered. “I’ll cook some up tomorrow night.” Kent smiled. He’d smiled more in the last few days than in the last month she’d been here. She felt her heart lighten, wondering if she’d done that. Made him happy. “That would be great, sweetheart. Provided you’re feeling alright.” “I’m fine.” “Maybe we should get you some help,” Cam said worriedly. “This is a big house to keep up.” She sat up and took the bowl Cam handed her. “I am the help, remember?” “Not anymore you’re not. And it’s time we took care of you better.” “You’ve been taking care of me since I got here,” she said in exasperation. She swallowed a spoonful of creamy soup. “Yes, but things are different now,” Kent explained. “We have different expectations. And I won’t have you wearing yourself out doing the housework.” “Not when we could wear you out in far more pleasurable ways.” Cam leered at her. She hit his shoulder playfully. “There isn’t that much to do. In fact, I feel guilty for taking your money. Perhaps I should try to find a job in town again.” “You will not.” Kent glowered at her. “You’ll stay here and look after us. Truth is, we’re going to keep you so busy, you’ll have little time or energy for anything else.” “You guys work all day.” “Ahh, but before we avoided coming home during the day because we were scared we’d jump on you. Now, we’ll have to push ourselves to leave.” Cam tugged a corner of her blanket down so one breast was bared. Kent pulled the empty bowl from her hands, placing it on the ground. Cam threw the blanket off her completely. “Part your legs,” Kent ordered. “Kent,” she protested.
“I won’t tell you again,” he growled. She spread her legs immediately. Cam’s fingers dipped down into her pussy. “Hmm, methinks our woman enjoys our orders.” He held up his fingers as evidence. They were covered with her dew. He licked them clean as her breathing quickened. “The world has changed for you, Bryony and its time you realized just how much. We are going to be infiltrating every part of your life, nothing will be kept from us, do you understand me?” Kent’s voice was strict, but she heard the underlying uncertainty. Knew that that was what Delia had done to him. Made him doubt who he was. Well, she loved who he was and she wouldn’t change him for the world. Even when he was being a Neanderthal. She loved every facet of who he was. “I understand.” “From now on, you belong to us. Both of us.” “I know.” “Good. Because there are a few rules for you to understand.” More rules? Cam turned her face to his as his fingers thrust into her pussy. She gasped. “First of all, no more skipping meals,” Cam said. “If we can’t be here with you, we’ll be asking you what you had. If we don’t like the answer, you’ll be eating your next meal with a warmed bottom.” Kent turned her face back toward him. His fingers moved to her clit, flicking sharply. “When Cam or I give an order we expect to be obeyed. I don’t want you working in the garden, or doing any heavy housework. Okay?” She could barely concentrate, her attention focused purely on the pleasure they were infusing in her body. “Your other rules still apply. I expect them to be followed to the letter. I haven’t heard any agreement, Bryony.” “Yes, yes, I agree.” “Very good. You may come.” Her scream of release echoed through the room. They patted her gently, bringing her back down, crooning to her as she calmed. She slumped against them. “What about the two of you?” she asked sleepily. She knew they were aroused. She was being terribly selfish. “We’ll be fine, darlin’, we’re used to this feeling.” Cam winked at her. “Bryony,” Kent spoke, turning her to face him. “You’ve told us very little about yourself. You know you can tell us anything, right?” She stiffened then nodded. He sighed and then kissed her. “Any time you’re ready to talk, we’ll be here, okay?” She nodded again, feeling herself fall in love with them just a little bit more.
Chapter Eight Bryony looked around her with excitement as she entered the woman’s clothes store. She’d never shopped in such a nice place before. Her clothes were always bought in thrift or second-hand stores. What little clothes she had. Two nights ago, Kent and Cam had surprised her by telling her that they were taking a trip to the city and that she was coming too. They’d left yesterday morning, arriving late last night. Bryony had been impressed by the hotel they were staying in. She knew they weren’t poor, but they were working hard to build up a profitable ranching business and didn’t spend money here, there and everywhere. Yet they’d taken a large room in a nice hotel, taken her out for a steak dinner last night and today they were all going shopping. She’d told them she was happy to go by herself but they’d insisted on coming with her. Truthfully, she was thrilled to have their company. This last week had been heaven for her. Kent and Cam treated her like she was extremely precious to them. Oh, Kent was still as gruff and dictatorial as usual, in fact if anything, he’d become more over-protective since she’d started sleeping with them. And Cam, well, that one was insatiable. She didn’t know how he was getting any work done. He always seemed to be around, pouncing on her, making love to her in the bathroom, the dining room, the kitchen, even on the stairs. And the barn. Yeah, she’d really enjoyed that one. He’d bent her over and taken her from behind. Kent had sat on a hay bale in front of her, and she’d sucked him off while he’d played with her nipples. She’d never felt so loved. She held their attention. When she spoke they really listened to her. They were constantly looking after her, running her baths, massaging her feet and shoulders, making her breakfast in bed. Their cooking skills hadn’t improved, but she’d never tell them that. The one bone of contention between them was her past. She just didn’t want to tell them everything, didn’t want to taint this fairytale. It would end all too soon anyway. She’d do something to fuck it up and they’d get rid of her. But until then she intended to enjoy herself. Bryony looked around the shop they’d taken her too. Concern grew as she noticed the quality of the clothes. Picking up a top, she checked the price. Yep, just as she’d feared. The clothes in here were too expensive for her. Still, they were nice. Maybe she could splash out and buy one item. Cam and Kent, meanwhile, were busy picking up handfuls of skirts and tops. The sales girl walked up to them with a big smile, her gaze firmly centered on Cam. “Hello? Can I help you?” she purred, her eyes eating him alive. Bryony’s temper stirred and she walked up to Cam, placing her hand on his arm. “Actually, I don’t think I like any of the clothes here.” “Nonsense,” Kent said bluntly, walking up to the sales girl and dumping a pile of clothes in her hands as she looked at him in surprise. “These clothes are fine. Go try them on.” Bryony glared at him as she followed the curvy sales girl to the small change room. With a sigh, Bryony placed her hand bag on the small chair in the room as the girl pulled the curtain across, not even bothering to offer her assistance. No doubt she was heading back out to try and charm Cam. Bryony grumbled unhappily under her breath as she looked at what Kent had chosen.
Skirts. No surprise there. She picked up one and put it on, surprised to see he’d actually judged her size correctly. She twirled a little, liking the turquoise color and full body. It fell just below her knees. “You ready yet?” Kent said impatiently. Not bothering to wait for a reply, he stuck his head around the curtain. “Kent,” she whispered, blushing. “What if I wasn’t dressed?” He grinned. “A man can hope.” He ran his gaze over her. “I like it, let’s take it.” She glared at him in exasperation. “Luckily, I like it too. No need to try on the rest of these. I’ll just get this one.” “Try them all.” She shook her head. “No, I just like this one.” “Bryony.” His tone had her gaze snapping up to his. “Fine,” she huffed, picking up another skirt. She waited. “Aren’t you going to give me some privacy?” He sighed, but backed out. “Come out and show us the next one.” Ten minutes later, she’d showed him four different skirts and three rather low-cut tops. Cam had even added to her pile with a couple of choices. Kent wanted to get them all. “I am not getting them all, Kent,” she said in exasperation, standing over him with her hands on her hips. Cam and Kent were sitting on armchairs just outside the change area. She didn’t know what had happened to the sales girl, but she seemed to have disappeared and they were alone. She was back in her own clothes, looking over all the clothes she’d tried on. “I liked them all,” Cam said, leaning back with his hands behind his head. “The tops are too low cut,” she said. “I know.” Cam’s smile was wolfish and she shook her finger at him. “You’re a pervert. I can’t even wear these anyway, it’s too cold.” “You’re only going to wear those tops for us,” Kent explained. “We’ll go to another store for some warmer clothes for you.” “I don’t need this much,” she countered desperately. “You have no clothes,” Cam said incredulously. “Look darlin’, we don’t know when we can come into the city again, so it’s best to buy up now, okay?” She understood the sense in that, but she simply didn’t have enough money to cover these clothes, plus the cool weather clothes she needed as well as keep a small nest egg. Well, she supposed she could build up the nest egg again. Shoulders slumping, she grabbed her handbag and took out her purse. Opening it, she counted out some cash. “Okay, then. I have enough cash.” “For what?” Kent asked blandly. His lack of expression should have warned her, but she was busy doing the math in her head. “Ahh, to pay for the clothes.” “Put it away.” She looked up at Kent, finally giving him her full attention. “What?” “Put your money away,” he repeated. “We’re paying, darlin’,” Cam said seriously. “I thought you realized.” She shook her head. “No way, they’re my clothes, I—” “And we chose them all, darlin’. And they’re not your clothes. These clothes are for us.”
“That’s silly, I am not going to let you pay for my clothes. You won’t let me pay for anything. These are my clothes. I will pay for them. End of story.” Kent rose suddenly and grabbing her wrist, pulled her in to the change room once more. “Kent, what—” His hands went to the dome of her jeans and he swiftly undid them, pulling them and her panties to her knees. Placing his hands on her hips, he turned her and pressed lightly on her back. “Bend over, hands on the seat.” She gaped at him over her shoulder, blushing. Cam blocked the doorway, pulling the curtain closed behind them. “Kent, we can’t have sex here,” she whispered. “We’re not.” “Then what?” She let out a surprised squeal as he smacked his hand down on her bottom. “You might want to stay quiet,” Smack! Kent’s hand landed again on her bottom. “Unless you want to bring attention to what’s going on here, Bryony.” Smack! “Because I don’t care who hears.” Smack! “This keeps going until I’m satisfied,” Smack! “That you understand that we will be paying for these clothes.” Smack! Smack! “Okay, okay,” she whispered, her bottom probably as red as her face by now. Kent paused and met her gaze in the mirror. “Are there going to be any more tantrums about money? Are you going to protest every time we want to pay for something for you?” “No, sir.” The sir just rolled off her lips. “Good.” She went to stand, but he held her down. “I didn’t say you could move.” “Sorry, sir,” she whispered. “Five more.” The spanks were sharp, heavy and she swore they were so loud that everyone in the shop must have been able to hear them. Bryony wasn’t aware there were tears running down her cheeks until Kent pulled her up, rubbing them off her cheeks. He kissed her gently then pulled her into his arms, rocking her. “Good girl,” he whispered against her hair. “Cam?” “Yes?” “Will you go pay for the clothes while I take care of Bryony?” “Sure thing.” Kent continued to soothe her, running his hand up and down her back. She pulled back, wiping her hands over her cheeks. It hadn’t hurt that much. She couldn’t understand why she was crying. “Sorry, I don’t know why I can’t stop crying,” she said, wincing as she pulled her panties and jeans up over her bottom. Kent brushed her hands away and did them up. “When was the last time you cried?” “Umm, I don’t really know,” she replied. He clasped her face between his palms, making her feel so safe as he surrounded her with himself. “Well, then, you were probably overdue. Sometimes, it’s hard to cry at the big things. And if you don’t it can build up until you need some sort of release.” She eyes him suspiciously. “So do you ever cry?”
“Me? No.” He stared at her like she’d spoken another language. “So maybe you need a spanking, huh?” she teased. His lips twitched. “Cheeky.” Turning her, he slapped her rump, making her squeal as it landed on her tender bottom. “Get a move on before I decide you need another spanking.” She smiled over her shoulder at him, her smile dying a little as she came into the main area of the shop to find the sales girl plastered right up against Cam as he bent over, looking at something in a display cabinet. As she watched, Cam took a step to the side, moving away from her. He looked over his shoulder, audibly sighing with relief as he saw them there. “Come on, darlin’, your packages are all ready. Let’s get going, okay?” With a smug smile aimed at the sales girl, Bryony took his outstretched hand and let him lead her from the shop. Kent brought up the rear, his hands filled with her bags. *** Bryony looked at the sex shop with some trepidation. She’d seen plenty of them before, of course, but she’d never been inside one. Had never really thought she would. Cam and Kent had been spoiling her rotten all day. She had managed to buy some sensible clothing herself. She’d gotten herself a couple of pairs of jeans, some shirts and a jacket. They wouldn’t hear of her buying underwear, though. And they insisted on paying for everything. She shook her head. They were incorrigible. If she let them, they would try to get away with whatever they wanted. “I’m not sure about this,” she said nervously. Cam took her hand and swung it. He looked at the sex shop like it was a candy store and he was a ten year old boy with a pocket full of cash. “Don’t look so worried, darlin’. This is going to be fun, I promise.” Kent took her other hand. “We won’t do anything you don’t want to, Bryony. But don’t hold yourself back because you’re scared. You should know by now that we would never hurt you. Nor would we let anyone else harm you.” Not physically. But she wasn’t so sure her heart was safe from them. But she squashed her fear and took a step forward. Immediately, she was sandwiched between the two of them. Cam walked in front of her, Kent behind. Inside, she felt distinctly overwhelmed. She didn’t know what half the items in the shop were, let alone what to do with them or which to choose. Instead, she watched Cam as he practically danced around the shop, picking up different items. “He’s really enjoying himself,” she commented to Kent. Kent looked over at Cam with a smile. “This is his happy place.” He glanced down at her. “Well, it was. I think he might have found a new happy place. Ahh, here’s what we’re looking for. What do you think?” She looked at the array of boxed items, wondering why he was asking her opinion. “Ahh, they look good?” They looked like dildos, in a range of size and shapes. Kent chuckled. “How about we grab three different sizes. We’ll work you up slowly.” “Wait.” She grabbed his arm urgently. “What exactly are these?” “They’re butt plugs, darlin’,” Cam said loudly as he returned to where they were standing. “Good choice,” he said to Kent as he saw what he held. Bryony blushed, looking
around the shop frantically. But except for the attendant behind the cash register they had the place to themselves. “What do you think?” Cam showed Kent a few items he’d chosen. Bryony barely had time to look at them before he’d whisked them away. Bryony nibbled at her lip. Kent placed his hand on the small of her back. Immediately she felt more at ease. “Calm, sweetheart.” “Are you really planning on putting those-those things in my bottom?” she asked anxiously. Kent stared down at her for a moment, then picked up a tube of lube. “Hey, Cam, add this to the bill?” Cam turned to look at him from where he stood at the counter and nodded as he saw the lube. “Come on, sweetheart. Let’s go get you ready.” “Ready?” she squealed as he took her hand and tugged her along behind him. She followed him out to his truck. He opened the back door, but instead of helping her inside, he got in and then lifted her in beside him. “Kent?” she asked worriedly as he pulled her over his lap. “What did I do?” “Shh, honey,” he said soothingly, rubbing her back. “You didn’t do anything. I just want to prepare your bottom for its plug.” He started to raise the bottom of her dress up. She had one of her new outfits on as they were all going out to dinner after their trip to the sex shop. Or at least she thought they were. She wasn’t wearing any panties. It seemed that was no longer an option when she was wearing a dress or a skirt. “Reach back and hold your bottom cheeks apart, Bryony,” Kent said in a deep voice. Blushing with embarrassment, Bryony did as she was ordered. “Good girl.” “I thought we were going out for dinner,” she said as he squirted lube on her bottom hole. “Don’t tense, honey. And we’re still going to dinner. But I don’t want you spending the whole night fretting about this, so we’ll do this before dinner and then you can relax and enjoy the evening.” “Oh.” Before she could think of anything more intelligent to say, Kent was pressing a finger inside her bottom hole. She let out a low whimper as he thrust it within her. “What if someone sees,” she queried. “There’s no one else around, honey. We’re parked around the back, no one can see.” The door suddenly opened, making her stiffen. She would have risen had Kent not held her down with a hand on the small of her back. “Ahh, I knew you were starting without me,” Cam said cheerfully as he climbed inside, lifting her legs to place them on his lap. “Get me the small plug, will you?” Kent said. “She was worrying, so I figured we might as well do this now.” She could hear the crinkling of packaging being opened as Kent worked her up to two fingers. A deep, dark heat spread throughout her body. She tried to keep her legs together, embarrassed by the amount of moisture gathering on her folds.
“Spread your legs, darlin’,” Cam ordered. When she didn’t move, a hard slap landed on her bottom. “Do as I say.” She moved her legs apart. Kent removed his fingers and she tensed as something hard was pressed against her bottom. “Don’t clench up. Relax, honey,” Kent crooned. “Cam, help her.” A warm hand reached beneath her pussy, two fingers tapping against her clit. Bryony let out the breath she’d been holding as pleasure suffused her. Kent chose that moment to push the plug inside. She sighed as it was seated deep within her. Cam continued to tease her as Kent pushed the hair back off her face. “Good girl. How does that feel?” “Weird, forbidden, naughty,” she whispered, knowing she wouldn’t be able to avoid answering him. “You look so sexy,” Cam said, his fingers withdrawing from her clit. She whimpered. “She’s done so well, I think she deserves a treat, don’t you, Cam?” “Oh yeah.” Suddenly, she was flipped. Kent moved to the far side of the back seat and laid her across his lap. Cam turned, kneeling on the back seat. “Put your legs over his shoulders, honey,” Kent ordered softly. Bryony did as ordered, leaning back against Kent’s arm, letting him support her as Cam dipped his head, licking her pussy, running his tongue up and down her folds, around her clit before thrusting deep. Then he started to tap at her clit, slow at first but then growing faster. Bryony soared, her release shaking her hard as the world receded until all that existed was her, Kent, and Cam. *** Bryony moved on her seat, blushing as she felt the plug in her bottom move. She couldn’t believe they’d made her wear it to the restaurant. And that here she sat with no underwear and a plug up her butt. Cam’s hand landed on her thigh, stilling her. He pushed her skirt up, his hands so high up her leg that if he just moved his fingers an inch he’d brush her pussy. “Cam,” she whispered. “Yes, darlin’?” He turned an innocent looking face toward her. “Don’t you like your salmon?” Kent scowled. “You should be eating red meat.” “I’m sick of red meat. I wanted fish.” She turned to Cam. “Remove your hand. Someone is going to see.” He glanced down. “You’re completely covered, darlin’. I would never let anyone else see what belongs to us.” “Urgh,” she growled, stabbing a potato. “I can’t believe you’re making me sit here with a-with a—” “With what, darlin’?” She glanced around; making sure no one could hear her. “With a plug up my bottom.” “Don’t you like it?” Kent asked seriously.
And that was the problem. She liked it too much. She was so turned on, she was in pain. And she couldn’t deny it. She’d promised them the truth—always. Cam’s fingers dipped down to her pussy, thrusting inside her passage. “Oh, I don’t think that’s the problem.” Bryony whimpered a little. Suddenly Cam withdrew. She looked up at his tense face in surprise. “Let’s pay and get out of here.” Bryony wondered what had happened until she saw him shift uncomfortably on his seat. With a wicked grin, she leaned over and squeezed his thigh. “What’s wrong, Cam? You look…uncomfortable.” She brushed her fingers across his erection and he jolted, nearly knocking over his water glass. “Damn it,” he swore as she giggled. “Hmm, I think it’s time I got you two home to bed.” Bryony looked over at Kent’s face. It was calm, but there was a definite twinkle of laughter in his eye.
Chapter Nine As soon as the door to their hotel room was closed, Cam had her against him, kissing her deep. His hands tore at her clothing, stripping her naked in record time. “Bedroom, now,” Kent ordered. Cam picked her up. She wrapped her legs around his hips as he raced into the bedroom. Kent didn’t glance up from where he was tying what looked to be silk scarves to the bedhead. Cam placed Bryony on her back upon the bed. “Arms up,” Kent ordered. Each man grabbed a wrist and tied a scarf around her wrists. “All right, darlin’?” Cam looked down at her in concern. She nodded, too breathless to talk. His head dropped, his tongue licking an erect nipple as she moaned. Kent joined him, sucking her other nipple into his mouth. “Oh, oh,” she cried out, digging her feet into the bed. “Stay still, honey, unless you want your feet tied as well?” Kent looked at her with a raised brow. She shook her head. Cam dropped off the bed and moved to his bag of goodies. He withdrew a feather. “W-what are you going to do with that?” she asked. Cam grinned wolfishly. Then he started to torture her. Who knew a feather could feel so erotic, so hot, could be so damn arousing? He brushed it up and down her body, concentrating on her nipples. Then Kent placed a blindfold over her eyes. Denying her of her sight heightened all her other senses and it wasn’t long until she was begging them for an orgasm, dying for release. “Please, please,” she begged as one of them thrust his tongue up inside her pussy. “Please what, darlin’?” Cam asked. Ahh, so it was Kent who was playing with her pussy. “I want, I want…” “What?” Her nipple was pinched and she gasped. “I want one of you inside me.” “Happy to oblige.” A cock nudged at her lips and she opened them, allowing him entrance before she could explain that wasn’t exactly what she meant. But she sucked happily on the thick shaft. Kent withdrew from her pussy and she felt the head of his cock enter her. “Man, that plug has made her so tight. I can hardly get inside her,” Kent groaned as he thrust slowly inside her. She felt so full, so tight. It didn’t take long for her to explode, her body clenching down on Kent’s cock. “I’m coming, darlin’, suck me all down.” Cam exploded in her mouth and she obediently swallowed his essence, drinking him down as Kent yelled his own release to the world.
Chapter Ten Bryony stared in the pantry, looking for some coffee. Damn, they had run out. She was out of quite a few things. In the last two weeks her men had kept her too busy to even think about going into town to get any groceries. Boy, had they kept her busy. It seemed like they were always touching her, pleasuring her. Even when they weren’t around, her mind was on them, thinking about them. It didn’t help that she had to go around without panties on, her juices slick on her thighs. Half the time she was wearing a butt plug or had a vibrator strapped to her clit. One morning they’d awakened her, brought her to a screaming orgasm, then placed some pleasure balls inside her. She’d had to wear them all morning. By the time they’d arrived home for lunch, she’d been so turned on she’d practically ripped their clothes off. Oh, the orgasms, though, had made it all worth it. They were strict, though. When her blood results had come back positive for anemia, she’d found herself on a strict diet, and forgetting to eat was not an option for her anymore, not after the way Kent had roasted her bottom the last time. That had been no sexy spanking. It was long and painful. He’d even made her stand in the corner of the living room with her bottom on display. Now that had been embarrassing. And they were getting close to taking her together. They spoke about it often. Kent would take her ass, while Cam planned on thrusting into her pussy. Just the thought of it had her womb clenching in delight. She tapped her foot. But they were all going to be very grouchy without any coffee tomorrow morning. Only problem was it was already three pm and she knew they wouldn’t be home until after six. Of course, that meant she could make it into town and back before they got here. She nibbled at her lip, wondering what to do. She didn’t like to go against what they told her. But this was silly. Her car had got her this far. It would stand another trip into town and back. She’d be fine. And if she did it once without a problem then surely they’d relax the rule. Mind made up, she grabbed a piece of paper in case they came home early and scratched out a note, telling them where she was going. Then she picked up her car keys. Without giving it too much thought she snatched up her purse and locked the back door. Bryony ran to the garage where her car was kept. She nibbled at her lip again, she wasn’t really sure she had enough gas to get there. Oh, well, she’d just have to give it a go and hope for the best. By the time Bryony made it to town, she was praying. There was a strange noise coming from the engine. She pulled into the gas station and put a little bit of gas in the tank. She really wasn’t sure that it would even make it back to the ranch and she didn’t want to waste money on gas she wouldn’t use. As she pulled away, she looked at her watch. Damn, she wasn’t left with much time to get to the shop, it was 3.45 and the shop closed at 4.30 on a Tuesday. She parked outside and half ran to the shop and grabbed a basket, moving around quickly to get what she needed. “Well, what do we have here? I do believe it’s a little mouse.”
Freezing, Bryony looked up and saw a woman she’d never met before. But the hatred in the beautiful blonde woman’s eyes seemed to indicate that she knew Bryony. “I’m sorry, do I know you?” Her features were lovely, perfect. But her eyes were ice cold and hard. She thrust her chest forward, drawing Bryony’s eyes to her huge breasts. There was something very artificial about the woman. “That’s her.” Bryony looked over as the rude waitress from the other day joined them. What was her name? Oh, yeah, Sybil. “That’s the little slut sleeping with Cam and Kent.” Bryony straightened her shoulders. “I don’t think that’s any of your business. Look, I don’t know who you are—” “I’m the woman they’re going to marry, bitch,” the new woman snarled. “They wanted me first. They even gave me this ring.” She held out her ring finger which was decorated with a huge diamond. “What?” “That’s right, I’m their fiancée, and you, little mouse, need to get the hell out of town.” Bryony dropped her groceries and fled. *** Cam bounded into the house. Kent followed him slowly, but with no less anticipation. Coming home at the end of a long day to Bryony’s smile was a heaven he never knew he’d find. She hadn’t been in his life long, but Kent knew he couldn’t be without her. He loved her. He stilled, slightly shocked. But it just felt right. This was love. Any feelings he’d had towards Delia were miniscule compared to the overwhelming tsunami of emotions he felt toward Bryony. “Bryony!” He heard Cam call out. “Bryony, where are you?” He returned to the kitchen, looking puzzled. “I can’t find her. Do you suppose she’s in the stables?” Kent frowned. Bryony loved the horses. They’d just started giving her riding lessons. But she knew she wasn’t to ride alone. Still, she could be out visiting them. “Maybe.” His attention was caught by a note on the table. He read it quickly then threw it on the table. Cam picked up the note, his face growing serious. “You don’t think she drove her car, do you?” “Only one way to find out.” Kent strode out the back door to the shed where he’d put her car. It was empty. “I’m going to spank her butt raw,” he growled.
Chapter Eleven Bryony wished she could stop crying. It was pathetic. She looked around the rundown motel room. It looked like the wallpaper had been here since the seventies. It was faded and dirty, peeling back off the wall. And it smelled. It was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned well. There was a damp, musty, used smell to it. Before she’d met Cam and Kent, it wouldn’t have worried her. It was a roof over her head. Somewhere to sleep. But now, she hated it. Something else to blame them for. How could they lie to her like that? Tell her that Delia meant nothing to them? But maybe they had been telling the truth. What if Delia had lied? Had faked their engagement? It would be easy to do and Bryony had fallen for it. After she’d run out of the store, she’d jumped in her car and just drove. It wasn’t until the gas light on her dashboard had lit up that she’d realized she needed to stop. She’d pulled up to this motel and taken a room. That was two days ago. She hadn’t even left. Not to buy food. Not even to buy tissues, instead she’d nearly used up all the rough toilet paper the motel had supplied. She’d panicked. That was the only word for it. She’d run away. Instead of being brave, instead of acting like a grown-up and asking them about it, she’d reverted to that rejected, insecure part that lived inside her and run. Part of her didn’t feel she deserved Cam and Kent, that something would come along and ruin everything. And when Delia had announced their engagement, that part of her had seized the reason and taken off. Bryony guessed part of it was self-preservation. She’d run before she could be pushed. But oh how she wished she hadn’t run off. Wished she’d stayed. But it was too late now. How could she go back and explain herself to them? They would think her pathetic. She let out a loud sob just as a loud knock came at the door. Bryony glanced at herself in the mirror. She looked a fright. Her eyes were nearly swollen shut from crying for so long. Her nose was red and raw, her face pale and her hair matted and dirty. Another knock at the door. And she had no idea who was at the door. She didn’t trust the guy at the front desk. He looked like he’d sell his own mother to the highest bidder. A loud crack sounded and then something bounded against the thin wall of the motel room. Bryony raced from the bathroom into the bedroom, coming to a shocked halt. The door had been smashed in, but that wasn’t what had her attention. No, her attention was held by the two gorgeous, seething men standing in her motel room. “Kent? Cam? How? Why?” Kent strode up to her and gathered her into his arms, holding her tight. She melted into his embrace, letting him soothe her. Then she was passed to Cam. She breathed in his scent. She’d never thought she’d see them again. “W-what are you doing here?” she asked. Kent scowled down at her. “We’re here for you.” Cam swept her up into his arms and strode out of the motel room. Kent walked in front of them. “But, wait, the door—”
“Taken care of,” Cam said shortly. She’d never seen him so angry. His arms were tense as they held her, his jaw stiff as though he was clenching his teeth. They reached Kent’s truck. He opened the back door. Cam popped her inside and quickly followed her, sitting beside her. “My car,” she said as Kent started the truck. Cam had already belted them both into their seats. “Is staying here. Payment for the door,” Kent said shortly. She glanced down at her lap. “You’re really angry, aren’t you?” Cam turned, his eyes glaring down at her. “Darlin’, you won’t be sitting comfortably for a long, long time after we get through with you.” She gulped. *** Kent carried her into the house and up the stairs to what had become their bedroom. Her eyes watered. He set her down beside the bed. The whole drive back had been in silence. And they hadn’t given her the option of walking. It seemed as though they were too scared to let her out of their hold in case she ran off, she guessed she couldn’t blame them. “Strip,” he ordered her. Cam walked in and shut the door, taking a seat in an armchair beside the bed. “What? Ahh, don’t you want to talk? Don’t you want me to tell you what happened?” Kent shook his head. “Doesn’t matter,” Cam said shortly. “You left us. You ran off. We’ve been worried sick, we haven’t slept, haven’t eaten. If our brother hadn’t gotten his friend to track you down, we’d still be out there, searching for you, not knowing if you were dead or alive…” his voice broke off and she realized suddenly how much she’d put them through. She stripped. Kent caught her wrist and without a word, he sat on the bed and flipped her over his knee. This was no light, sexy spanking. It was hard, heavy. Her bottom was soon stinging. Kent spanked her with sharp, quick slaps, covering her bottom then her thighs. “I’m ssorry,” she sobbed. “So sorry.” She didn’t fight him. She deserved this. Suddenly he stilled, lifting his hand. Bryony kept her face buried in the bedspread, sobbing almost hysterically. Her skin was on fire. This made the other spankings he’d given her seem like love pats. “Why did you run off?” Cam asked. She twisted, trying to rise, but Kent held her down with a growl. “He’s not finished yet,” Cam said. “Answer me.” His voice didn’t encourage disobedience. She told them what had happened with Delia. When she’d finished they didn’t say anything, but Kent’s hand started to reignite the fire in her bottom. She was sobbing once more by the time he stopped. “That was for not trusting us, for not coming back here and talking to us,” Cam said angrily. “Goddamnit, Bryony.” “I know, I’m sorry, it was instinctive. I didn’t really think, I just ran. It’s all I’m really good at, running. Oh, and ruining things.”
She hiccupped, sobbing, big wracking sobs that hurt her chest. She was pulled up, held against a wide chest, her back rubbed until she quieted down. “I don’t deserve your comfort. You should-you should just throw me out.” “Don’t tell us what to do,” Kent said in a deep voice. “You follow our orders, not the other way around.” She stiffened. “You mean I used to. You can’t possibly want me now.” “Can’t we?” Cam asked, moving to sit next to them. He placed a hand on her bottom and patted. She winced. She was sitting sideways on Kent’s lap, her bottom hanging off to one side. “You-you still want me?” She hardly dared hope. Cam clasped her face with his hands. “We love you. Of course we still want you.” “B-both of you?” She looked up at Kent. He stared down at her intently. “Yes, both of us. I love you, Bryony.” “Oh God,” she sobbed. “I love you both so much.” “There are going to be some changes, though, Bryony,” Cam said seriously. “We can’t have you running off every time something upsets you.” “I know. I’m sorry.” “You’ll marry us,” Kent said shortly. “This weekend.” “Both of you? But how?” “Legally, you’ll marry Kent. But I will be just as much your husband.” She wiped her hands over her eyes. “Delia was lying, wasn’t she?” “Yes, darlin’. She was. Why did you run off?” Cam asked. She sighed, wiggling out of their hold to stand before them. She caught a glimpse of her red bottom in the mirror and winced. “I grew up in foster care. I don’t remember my dad; he took off when I was a baby. My mom was a prostitute and a junky. She died of an overdose when I was seven. I was too old for anyone to adopt. Besides, I had a crappy attitude. So I got shoved from one home to another. Some were okay. Some weren’t. When I was sixteen, I got to the worst one. One of the other boys fostering there was, well, he couldn’t keep his hands to himself. He was a jerk.” She paused taking a breath. To her surprise Cam and Kent grabbed a hand each, staring up at her in concern. She smiled a little. “Seems to be a theme, right? Anyway, one night, he cornered me in my room. Our foster parents were out. He was in charge. He wanted me to suck him off. Instead I kneed him in the balls and pushed him back. He hit his head and was knocked out instantly. I panicked. I thought I’d killed him. So I ran.” She shrugged. “And I guess I’ve been running ever since. Even when I learned that he was still alive. I could never land a decent job. I had no experience in anything, no education. Everything I touched sort of fell apart. When you gave me this job, it was a dream come true. I started to feel like I finally belonged somewhere. But I still didn’t think I deserved it. Hell, I don’t deserve it. The first hint of a problem and what do I do? I run. I don’t know what you see in me.” She sobbed; surely she must almost be out of tears. Cam and Kent surrounded her, enveloping her between them.
Kent raised her face up, forcing her to meet his stern gaze. “I don’t ever want to hear you disparaging yourself like that again, you hear me? You deserve more than us, you deserve the world.” Cam rested his chin on her shoulder. “As to what we see in you, we see someone who is kind, generous, who has a big heart, a wicked sense of humor. You’re beautiful, smart, the whole package. And we see the person we want to be with for the rest of our lives. We want to spend our lives taking care of you, loving you.” She smiled. “You both make me feel so lucky. So loved. When you touch me, look at me, I’m filled with this happy feeling. I’m the luckiest woman in the world, having the two of you in my life.” “Come on, honey,” Kent said tenderly. “Let’s put you to bed. You’re exhausted.” She followed as he led her to the bed and placed her in the middle. They both stripped and joined her, holding her close, placing gentle kisses over her face. “Don’t ever leave us again,” Kent said urgently. “I won’t. I promise. I don’t ever want to be apart from you again.”
Chapter Twelve Bryony nervously brushed nonexistent dust from the coffee table. She moved around the living room, anxiously puffing up cushions. “Bryony, come here,” Kent ordered. She immediately turned and walked over to where he sat on the sofa. He clasped her hands in his large warm ones and pulled her between his parted thighs. “There’s no need to be nervous.” “I’m meeting your family for the first time, how can I not be nervous.” Cam walked in and sat beside Kent on the sofa. “They’ll love you. Just like we do.” “I’m not so sure about that.” “Bryony, look at me,” Kent said sternly. She raised her gaze to his, saw the love in his eyes and relaxed a little. “I want you to remember that we love you very much. In two day’s time you are going to be our wife, part of our family. All our family want is for us to be happy. And you make us happy.” Tears filled her eyes. “Ditto,” Cam joined in. “Thank you,” she whispered. Then she tensed again as she heard a couple of vehicles approach. Kent squeezed her hands a final time before letting them go. “We’ll go help them with their bags; you stay here, honey, where it’s warm.” Cam had lit the fire earlier and it was nice and toasty. So Bryony stood by herself and waited. She was too nervous to sit. She couldn’t believe that she was marrying Kent and Cam tomorrow. Or that their family was here to celebrate the wedding. She went through the names again in her head… Heath Ava Jaron Frankie Tom Brax She heard the door open, laughter, and straightened her shoulders. She could do this. *** Kent finished introducing Bryony to everyone, proud of the way she handled herself. She was calm, poised, and while shy, he was sure no one knew quite how scared she was. He sat her down on the sofa between himself and Cam. Cam held baby Jaron on his lap, bouncing him up and down. He laughed the first few times before he started to grizzle. “Sorry,” Ava said with a tired smile. “He needs his bed.” From the look of Ava’s pale face and the dark circles under her eyes, Jaron wasn’t the only one. Kent wondered why his brother, Heath, was letting his wife run herself ragged. She was five months pregnant with Heath’s first child—Jaron was Ava’s from a previous marriage— he needed coddling and lots of tender loving care.
He saw Heath glance down at Ava, saw the concern in his eyes. Ava stood and reached for Jaron. “I’ll take him up and put him down.” “I’ll show you where to go,” Bryony offered. Ava smiled. “Thank you, Bryony. That would be lovely.” Once Bryony and Ava had shut the door behind them, Kent turned to Heath with a frown. “Is Ava alright?” Heath matched his frown. “She’s very tired. This pregnancy is taking a lot out of her. The doctor has told her to take it easy.” “Then you should have insisted she stay at home,” Kent said arrogantly. Heath raised his brow. “Really? For some reason, my wife wanted to come and watch my brothers get married. Can’t imagine why she would care.” “Where did you meet this woman?” Frankie asked suspiciously. “This seems to be happening awfully quickly, how much do you know about her?” “Whoa.” Cam held his hands up. “What’s with the twenty questions, Miss Suspicious?” “I’m just looking out for my brothers.” Frankie sat back, folding her arms across her chest. Tom shot her a warning look. Kent leaned forward, staring at Frankie sternly. “We love her, Frankie. Bryony was very nervous about meeting you all and I assured her that you would accept her because we love her. I expect you to treat her with respect. Understand?” She pursued her lips but nodded. Kent sat back as Bryony and Ava re-entered the room, laughing. *** Bryony looked around the dining room table, making sure that everyone had what they needed. “Frankie, can I get you another drink?” she asked. “No, thanks,” Frankie replied politely, if a little coldly. “I can get my own.” “Oh, okay.” Bryony stubbornly kept a smile on her face. With the exception of Frankie, everyone else in Kent and Cam’s family had been very warm and friendly. “So what do you do for a job, Bryony?” Frankie asked. “Umm, well, I was the housekeeper here. Guess I still am.” Cam snorted and drew her close to smack a kiss on her lips. “A housekeeper? Is that what you’ve always done?” the other woman persevered. “Ahh, no, I used to cook in a diner.” “Really?” “Frankie,” Tom began to say in a warning voice, but she ignored him. “So where did you learn to cook?” Bryony threw her shoulders back. She would not let this woman make her feel ashamed about her background. She’d spent too long feeling that way. “One of my foster mothers taught me.” “Enough interrogation, I think,” Heath said, staring at his sister who sat back with a stubborn pout on her face. “Right, shall we take our coffee into the living room,” Kent suggested. Everyone nodded and followed him out. Cam and Ava stayed behind to help Bryony clear the table. “You guys go on, I can get this,” she insisted.
“No way,” Ava said. “You cooked. I’ll clean.” Bryony thought that Ava looked like she needed a good night’s sleep, but didn’t know her well enough to suggest it. “Why don’t you make the coffee, Cam?” Bryony suggested. “We’ll get these.” Cam rushed off to do just that, making Ava and Bryony laugh. Bryony filled the sink as Ava picked up a towel. “Really, Ava, you’ve had a long drive, why don’t you go rest.” Ava shook her head. “It’s good to stand for a while, truthfully.” Bryony handed her a bowl. They’d filled the dishwasher already. “I’m sorry Frankie’s being a bit funny,” Ava said suddenly. “She doesn’t seem to think much of me.” “She can be a bit protective of her family.” “Did she give you the same trouble?” Ava shook her head. “But only because we were already friends. That’s how I met Heath. I came home with Frankie for Christmas, and, well, the rest is history.” “Can I ask you something personal, Ava?” “Sure.” “Is, umm, Heath like Kent and Cam? Like, quite dominant?” “Oh,” Ava said with a grin. “You mean does he spank me?” Bryony blushed and nodded. “Yep, sure does. Although he hasn’t so much since I’ve been pregnant. I kind of miss it, actually.” “You miss it?” Bryony gaped at the other woman. “Yeah. It’s, well, it makes me feel loved and safe, knowing that Heath is always there to catch me if I fall. That he’ll always follow through on his word.” Bryony nodded. “And Tom is the same.” “Really?” “Yep, and I’d bet anything Frankie’s in for a spanking tonight for the way she’s been behaving.” “Oh no, I don’t want her to get a spanking because of me.” “She’s not. She’s going to get one because of her attitude. Don’t worry.” Ava patted her hand then grabbed at her suddenly, swaying. “Ava? Ava!” She grabbed the pregnant woman as she fainted. “Help! I need some help in here!” she yelled. “Kent! Cam!” They came racing into the kitchen, coming to a halt for a second in shock. Then Kent was lifting Ava into his arms while Cam helped Bryony stand. “One minute she was fine, the next she just fainted,” Bryony said quickly. Heath grabbed his wife, his face pale. “Bring her in to the living room,” Tom said calmly. That’s right, Bryony thought. He was a doctor. Bryony followed them all into the living room, standing back. Ava moaned. “What happened?” she asked. Heath took her hand, his gaze intense. “You fainted, darling.” “Oh, sorry.”
“No need to apologize, Ava,” Tom said soothingly. “How are you feeling?” “Okay, just tired.” “Well, you’re pale and tired, but your pulse is strong. No pain?” Tom asked. “No,” Ava replied. Tom looked up at Heath. “I think it’s just exhaustion. Lots of rest. Lots of fluid.” Heath nodded solemnly. “Come on, darling. Time for bed.” Ava leaned her head against his chest tiredly. “Sorry to be so much trouble everyone. Bryony, thanks for dinner.” Bryony smiled. “No problem. Hope you feel better tomorrow.” Heath smiled at her. “Yes, Bryony, thanks for dinner. And welcome to the family.” *** Bryony turned at a knock on her door. “Come in,” she called, thinking it was Ava. Heath had taken Kent, Cam and Brax away early that morning to get ready in a motel in town, leaving Tom to bring the girls in later. Ava had offered to help Bryony get dressed. But when the door opened, it was Frankie who came in. “Frankie? Can I help you?” she offered politely. “Yeah, umm, I came to apologize for my behavior last night.” “Oh, well, I guess it must be weird, your brothers marrying one woman. And someone you’ve never met before.” Frankie sighed. “Still no excuse for the way I behaved. Believe me; I had everyone lecturing me, including Ava.” She looked at Bryony. “Look, I don’t know you and I don’t want my brothers getting hurt, but I should never have spoken to you so rudely. Tom and I have been having problems, and well, I was upset when I got here and took it out on you. Forgive me?” Bryony leaned over and grasped her hand. “Of course, and if I can help at all with your problem, let me know.” “Can you fix me so I can have babies,” Frankie said bitterly before slamming her hand over her mouth. “Sorry,” she muttered. “I shouldn’t have said that. Forget it, alright.” “Sure.” Bryony wished she knew some comforting words. But then Ava entered the room and she pushed Frankie’s problems to the back of her mind. *** “I can’t believe we’re married,” Bryony squealed, whirling around the hotel room. Her husband’s sat on the bed and laughed. Her husbands. Something she’d never thought she’d say. Her wedding day had been perfect. The ceremony had been beautiful, with one man on either side of her. If the minister had found it odd that two men had stood beside her, had kissed her, he didn’t say anything. Then her husbands had surprised her by whisking her away to the city for a short honeymoon. They’d agreed to take a longer honeymoon later. “Strip,” Kent ordered from the bed.
Bryony grinned. Oh, she’d strip. Dancing to a tune in her head, she slowly stripped her clothes off, flinging them down on the ground. She watched Cam and Kent; their eyes were glued on her, their total attention on her. She felt beautiful, amazing. It was a heady feeling. When she was naked, she cupped her breasts, rubbing her thumbs over the stiff nubs, a groan escaped her and she threw her head back, closing her eyes. Thump. She opened her eyes, glancing over to find her men naked. Cam stalked towards her, and grabbing her around the waist, hauled her to the bed, throwing her onto it on her back. “Little tease,” he groaned. She glanced down at his thick cock, biting back a grin. Reaching down, she grabbed his shaft, pumping, squeezing lightly. “Christ.” Cam fell back with a groan as she felt Kent move up behind her. She knelt, leaning over Cam, took his thick shaft into her mouth, sucking him in deep. “That’s heaven, darlin’. Pure fucking heaven.” “Language,” Kent admonished as she felt his hands on her thighs, nudging them apart. Then his tongue thrust inside her pussy, making her scream, the sound smothered by Cam’s cock. As she gave Cam a blow job, Kent thrust his tongue in and out of her moist pussy. “Damn, stop, stop, darlin’.” Cam grabbed her head, pulling her back. “I don’t want to come like that. I want to be inside you. Come here.” He pulled her up and over him so she straddled him. Lining her pussy up to his cock, she plunged down, taking him deep. Kent shifted behind them and there was the sound of something being squirted from a tube. “Lean forward, sweetheart,” he crooned. “Tonight you take us both.” With a shiver of excitement and trepidation, she lay forward on Cam’s chest. Cam’s hand ran over her chest, his cock twitching inside her as Kent pressed two damp fingers into her ass. “Ow,” she cried, wiggling a little. “Feel good, darlin’?” Cam asked. She nodded. “Yes,” she hissed. “I can’t wait, sweetheart,” Kent said in a strangled voice from behind her. She looked over her shoulder and smiled at him reassuringly. “I’m ready.” She turned her head back as he parted her bottom cheeks and then his cock was at her back entrance, pressing slowly within her. “Relax, darlin’. Just push back against him. Good girl.” Cam pushed a hand between their bodies, his finger tapping against her clit. She eased her tense muscles, allowing Kent to push more firmly inside her. “How does it feel, darlin’?” “Full, tight, weird. Hot.” “Easy, sweetheart,” Kent said tensely. “Almost there. You feel so good. So tight.” Then he was fully seated inside her and they moved. In and out, slowly at first then fast. Cam’s finger stayed on her clit, driving her mad. “Oh God, I can’t last,” she cried. “I’m going to come.” “Come then, darlin’. Come for us.” She exploded.
Bryony lay on the bed, too exhausted to move. She heard the men rise, but kept her eyes close. Something warm touched her chest and she opened her eyes to find Cam kneeling beside her, running a warm cloth over her chest. “What are you doing?” “Cleaning you up, darlin’. Raise your legs up for Kent.” She looked down as Kent knelt between her legs. She attempted to sit. “Ahh, I can do it.” They both shook their heads. “You’re our wife now, sweetheart,” Kent said. “We’ll take care of you. Cam.” Before she could react, Cam had grabbed one leg and with the knee bent, raised it up. Kent cleaned her folds first, and then moved the cloth to the cleft of her ass. “Oh, this is so embarrassing,” she said. “Nothing should be embarrassing or hidden between husbands and their wife,” Kent said sternly. Finally, they finished, and throwing away the cloths, they lay on either side of her, sandwiching her between them. “Come here, Mrs. Jamieson,” Cam said, kissing her deep. “Mrs. Jamieson, I like the sound of that.” “Just as well,” Kent said, turning her and kissing her as well. “Because you’re stuck with it for life.” She smiled happily. “I can think of nothing I want more.
