َ منُهم ِ ما َيعث ُُر ِ مروَءا ُ عاث ٌِر إّل وَي َيد َ َت ع َث ََرات ِِهم ف ُ ُ أِقيلوا ذ َِوي ال-1 .ه ُ ُالله ب ِي َد ِهِ يرفَع 1- Overlook and forgive the weaknesses of generous people, because if they fall down Hand of God lifts them.
ّ ّ ي ِبالذ َ َ من ک ف َ ش ِ َازَری ب َِنف-2 َ ل َ ّ من اسَتشعََر الط َ ِ سه َ معَ وََرض َ .ه َ َ َضّرهِ و ُ عن َ ِ مَر ع ََليَها ل ُ هاَنت ع ََليهِ َنف ُ َ سان ّ من أ َ ه ُ س
2- One who develops the trait of greediness and avarice invites degradation; one who keeps on advertising his poverty and ill-luck will always be humiliated; one who has no control over his tongue will of tell have to face embarrassment and discomfort.
َ إ-3 َ صييا ُ صَلت إَليک ُييم أطيَرا ِقل ّية ِ ِ ها ب َ ف الن ّعَيم ِ َفل ُتنفِيُروا أق َ َذا و ّ ال .ر ِ شک
3- When few blessings come your way, do not drive them away through thanklessness.
ُ الُبخ-4 ن ع َيين َ س ال َ ة َوال َ من ٌ صي ُ ل ع َيياٌر َوال َ ن ُ ِفقيُر ُيخير َ ق َ فط ِي ُ جبي َ ل ّ ق َ صييبُر ة ٌ َ جاع ٌ ب فی َبلد َت ِهِ َوالَعج يُز افَ ي ِ م َ شي ٌ غري َ ح ُ ُ جت ِهِ َوال َ ة َوال .ة ٌ ّ جن ُ ُ َوالّزهد ُ َثروَة ٌ َوالوََرع
4- Parsimony and avarice i.\' ignominy and disgrace; cowardice is a defect and a vice; poverty often makes the wisest and the most educated person hold his tongue even from the most reasonable argument; a poor man is a stranger in his own town; misfortune and helplessness are calamities; patience and the ability to suffer in silence is a kind of bravery; to sever connections with the vicious world is the greatest wealth and fortune; piety is the best defence and the best armour.
ٌ حل ُي َ م ال ٌجيد ّد َة ٌ م وَِراث َي َ م َ ب ُ دا َ ة َوال ُ ل ُ َوالِعلي،ن الّرضييی َ ِنع-5 ُ قري .ة ٌ َ صافِي ِ َوال َ فکُر َ ٌ مراة
5- Surrender and acceptance to the Will of God are the best companions; wisdom is the noblest heritage; theoretical and practical knowledge are the best marks of distinction; deep thinking will present the clearest picture of every problem.
َ َ َ َ إ-6 َ ن َ َوإ،ه ذا ِ ِغي ير ِ حا ِ ذا أقب َل َي َ م َ دن َِيا ع َل َييی أ ّ ت ال ي َ ه ُ ح يد ٍ أع َيياَرت َ سي .َِسه َ أدب ََرت ِ ن َنف ِ محا َ ه َ ه ُ سل ََبت ُ عن َ س
6- When this world favours anybody it lends him qualifications, and attributes surpassing merits of others, and when it turns its face away from him it snatches away even his own excellences and fame.
َ ف ف َ َن غ َ من َ عنَها َ ل َ خييا ِ خ َ ِ ه َرب َ س َ من َ ب َنف َ حا َ و،سَر َ حو ُ س َ -7 ِ م َ َ .م ِ أ َ ِ م ع َل َ ِن فَه َ َصرفََهم و َ َ و،صَر َ و،ن َ من اب َ ن اع َت َب ََر أب َ م ِ م ِ م
7- One who takes account of his shortcomings will always gain by it, one who is unmindful of them will always suffer. One who is afraid of the Day of Judgment is safe from the Wrath of God; one who takes lessons from the happenings of life obtains vision, one who acquires vision becomes wise, and one who attains wisdom achieves knowledge.
ُ ِ خييال معَهَييا ي َک َييوا ع ََليک ُييم َوإن َ م َ -8 ً خال َط َي َ مت ّييم ُ ة إن ُ طوا الن ّيياس ُ حّنوا إَلي .کم ِ َ عشُتم
8- Treat people in such a way and live amongst them in such a manner that if you die they weep over you, and if you are alive they crave for your company.
ُ ه َ إ-9 ة ُ شييکرا ِلل َ ِل َالَعف يو ِ قييدَر َ َذا ق ُ عن ي َ در ِ ت ع ََلی ع َد ُوّکَ َفاجعَ ي .ه ِ ع ََلي
9- If you get an opportunity and power over your enemy, then, in thankfulness to God for this, forgive him.
َ َ ه ِ ج يُز َ ن وِأع َ َ من ع َ أع-10 َ ِ ن اکت ُ من ي َ س ِ سا ِ وا َ ب الخ ِ َ جَز ع ِ جُز الّنا . منُهم ِ ِفَر ب ِه ِ َ من ظ َ من َ َضي ّع َ 10. He is very unfortunate who cannot in his lifetime gain even a few sincere friends and sympathisers and even more unfortunate is the one who has gained them, and then lost them (through his deeds).
ُ َ سي َ وََقا-11 (ه ِ ن َاعت ََزل ُييوا ال ِ لم )فييي ال ّي ّ ل ع ََلي يهِ ال ُ معَ ي َ قت َيَال َ ذي َ ِ صُروا الَباط .ل َ َ خذ َُلوا ال ُ حقّ وَ لم َين
11- For those who refused to side with any party, that of Hazrat (a.s) or his enemies, Hazrat (a.s) said: they have forsaken religion and were of no use to infidelity also.
ميير ُ َوال،ن َ ت اَلهي َب َةِ ِبال ُ صي ِ حَياءُ ِبال ِ َ قُرِن-12 َ َوال، ِخيب َة ّ ُة ت َ حر َ فر ِ مييا .ر َ ص ال َ س ّ مّر ال َ َ ب َفانت َهُِزوا فَُر ِ حا ِ خي 12- Failures are often results of timidity and fears; disappointments are results of uncalled for modesty; hours of leisure pass away like summer clouds, therefore, do not waste opportunity the doing good.
َ َ .ه َ َ رع ب ِهِ ن ُ ُ سب ُ ُ مل َ َ من أبط َأ ب ِهِ ع َ -13 ِ ه َلم ُيس
13- Whose deeds lower him, his pedigree cannot elevate.
ُ َ درا ً وََل ت ُ َذرا ً و ُ َ سمحا ً وََل ت ُ -14 ّ َ مب .قّترًا َ م ّ َم ق َ کن ُ کن ُ کن ُ کن
14- Be generous but not extravagant, be frugal but not miserly.
.ف الغَِنی َترکُ اُلمَنی ُ َأشَر-15
15- To give up inordinate desires is the best kind of wealth and fortune.
َ َ ل اَلم َ َ من أ-16 َ م َ طا .ل َ لأ َ َساءَ الع َ
16- One who hopes inordinately impairs the standard of his work.
َ َ ت َ سييب َ َ ن آد ُ َت َرب ّيک َ ه وَأن ي ُ مي َ َه ي ُت َيياب ِعُ ع ََلي يکَ ن ِع ُ َ حان َ م َرأي َ َيا اب-17 .ه ِ َتع ُ صيهِ َفاحذ ََر
17- 0 son of Adam! When you see that in spite of God's constant Favours your life is a continuous sin, then take warning (His Wrath may not turn those very blessings into misfortunes).
َ َ َ ٌ حد ت َ صيي ِ حا ِ ي فَل ََتا َ ف َ مَر أ َ ِت ل َ ما أض َ -18 َ َسييان ِهِ و ِ شيئا ً إّل ظ َهََر ف .ه ِ َِوجه 18- Often your utterances and the expressions of your face reveal the secrets of your hidden thoughts.
.ه ِ ِ سان َ ب اَل ُ ل وََراءَ َقلب ِهِ وََقل ُ سا َ ِ ق وََراءَ ل َ ِ ل-19 ِ ِن الَعاق ِ حم
19- A wise man first thinks and then speaks and a fool speaks and then thinks.
َ مييا َل َ مييا َيکَرهُييو َ ِ ن قَيياُلوا ِفييهِ ب َ ِ ميين أسيَرع َ إ ِل َييی الن ّيياس ب َ -20 .ن َ مو ُ َ َيعل
20- One who is quick in saying unpleasant things about others, will himself quickly, become a target to their scandal.
ُ -21 َ م ف َ َ ب وَقَن ِيعَ ِبالک ِ ل ِلل ِ َ وَع،د ِ فييا َ مَعا َ ح َ من ذ َک ََر ال َ ِ طوَبی ل ِ سييا .عن الله َ ي ِ وََر َ ض 21- Happy is the man who always kept the life afterdeath in his view, who remembered the Day of Reckoning through all his deeds, who led a contented life and who was happy with the lot that God hath destined for him.
ٌَ َ سي ّئ َ ِ جب .ک َ َسوُءک ِ خٌير ِ عند َ الله ُ سن َةٍ َتع َ من َ ح ُ َة ت َ -22
22- The sin which makes you sad and repentant is liked better by the Lord than the good deed which turns you vain and conceited.
.ل َ َ ِفی ت-23 ِ ل َ م ُ عل ِ ّ قل ِ جواه ِرِ الّرجا ِ وا َ ب اَلح
23- Adversities often bring your good, qualities to the front.
ن َ ّ الظ-24 ِ ی ب َِتح َ َوال،م َ فُر ِبال ُ حز ِ َوال يّرأ،ي ِ م ِبإجال َيةِ ال يّرأ ِ صييي ِ حز .اَلسَرار 24- Success is the result of foresight and resolution, foresight depends upon deep thinking and planning, and the most important factor of planning is to keep your secrets to yourself.
َ َ ّ ة فَمن تأ َل .ه ِ فَها أقب ََلت ع ََلي َ َ ٌ ّ شي ِ ل َوح َ ب الّر ُ قُُلو-25 ِ جا
25- Hearts of people are like wild birds, they attach themselves to those who love and train them.
َ َ .ة ُ ُهم ع ََلی الع ُ در ِ َ قوب َ س ِبالَعفوِ اق ِ أولی الّنا-26
26- Only he can forgive who has power to punish.
َ َ َ ما حي َيياُء َ س َ َمس يأل َةِ ف َ مييا ک َييا َ ِ ن ابت َ کا ّ ال-27 َ ن ع َيين َ ما َ فَأ،داًء َ خاُء .م ٌ م ّ َ وَت َذ
27- If you help a deserving person without his request then it is generosity and if you help him after his request then mostly it is due to shyness to your refuse or fear of reproach.
َ ث َ ل وََل َفقَر َ َل ِغَنی-28 ب وََل َ ميَرا ِ وَ َل،ل َ کال ِ َ کيياَلد ِ جه ِ کالَعق َ ظ َِهيَر َ م .ة ِ شاوََر ُ کال 28- There is no greater wealth than wisdom, no greater poverty than ignorance, no greater heritage than culture ana no greater friend and helpmate than consultation.
َ ُ ن .ة َ َوال،ن ُ َ غرب ٌ َ الغَِنی ِفي الُغرب َةِ وَط-29 ِ فقُر ِفي الوَط
29- Wealth converts every foreign country into your native place and poverty turns your native place into a strange land.
.د َ مال َل َين َ ال-30 ُ َ قَناع ُ ف َ ة
30- Contentment is the capital which will never come to an end.
ُ ما ّ ماد ّة ُ ال .ت ِ وا َ ل َ ال-31 َ َشه
31-Wealth is the fountain-head of inordinate cravings.
َ شَر ّ َ من ب .ک َ من َ َ حذ ََرکَ ک َ -32
32- Whoever warns you against sins and vices is like the one who is carrying news of salvation to you.
.قَر َ َه ع َ ي ُ سب ُعٌ إن ُ سا َ ن َ ّ َالل-33 ُ عن َ ّ خل
33- The tongue is such a ferocious beast that if let loose it will act ravenously.
ُ َأه-34 .م ُ َساُر ب ِِهم و ّ ل ال ٌ هم ن َِيا َ ُب ي ٍ دنَيا ک ََرک
34- People in this world are like travellers whose journey is going on though they. are asleep. (Life'sjourney is going on though men may not feel it).
ُ ِحب ّة .ة ٌ َ غرب ِ َفقد ُ اَل-35
35- To lose friends is to become a stranger in one's own country.
َ َ من ط َل َب َِها إَلی . غيرِ َأهل َِها ِ ن ُ َحاجةِ أهو َ ت ال ُ َفو-36
36- Not to have a thing is less humiliating than to beg it of others.
َ من إع َ ّ ن َأق .ه َ طاءِ ال ِ ن ال ِ ل ِ ح َ ما ّ ل َفا ُ من َ حر ِ قِلي ِ َ ل َتست-37
37- Do not be ashamed if the amount of charity is small because to return the needy empty-handed is an act of greater shame.
ُ ما ُ َ ذا َلم ي َ إ-38 .ت َ کن َ ريد ُ فََل ت َُبل َ کن ِ ُ ما ت
38-If you cannot get things as much as you desire then be contented with what you have.
َ َ ِ جاه .فّرطًا َ م َ َل ت ََری ال-39 ُ رطا ً أو ُ ل إّل ِ مف
39- An uneducated man or a savage will always overdo a thing or neglect to do it properly.
ُ م الَعق َ إ-40 .م َ َل ن ُ ص الک ََل ّ َ ذا ت َ ق
40- The wiser a man is, the less talkative he will be.
َ َ خ .ه َ َ ن-41 ُ س اَلمرِء ِ ِ جل َ طاه ُ إَلی أ ُ ف
41- Every breath that you take is a step forward towards death.
ّ ُ ض وَ ک ّ ُ ک-42 .ت َ من ٍ مت َوَقٍّع آ ُ مع ُ ل ُ ٍ دود َ ل ٍ ق
42- Anything which can be counted or reckoned is finite and will come to an end.
َ موَر إ .ها ب ِأ َوّل َِها َ خُر ِ ت اعت ُب َرِ آ ِ َذا اشت َب َه ّ إ-43 ُ ن اُل
43- If you are confused about the good or bad effects of action, then study carefully the cause and YOU! Will know what the effects will be.
َ .ق َ ّ ل الن ُ َ ف،ن َ م ِ خذ ِ ال ُ ّ ضل ُ م ِ ال-44 ِ ة وََلو ِ ة اُلمو َ ة َ حک َ حک ِ من أه ِ فا ِ م
44- Knowledge and wisdom are really properties of a faithful Muslim, even when lost to him; get them back though you may have to get them from apostates.
ّ ُة ک .ه ُ م ِ ما ُيح ُ ُ سن َ ٍریء َ ِقي-45 ِ ل ام
45- The value of each man depends upon the art and skill which he has attained.
َ شي ِمشييهَد ِ (جل َد ِ الغَُلم ِ )وُروي ِ ي َ من ّ ح َ خأ َ من ّ َ ب إل ِ ّ َرأي ال-46 َ .م ِ الغُل 46- I appreciate an old man's cautious opinion more than the valour of young man.
ُ َ من َيقن .فاُر َ لسِتغ ُ َمع َ َط و َ ِت ل ُ جب ِ َ ع-47 ِ ها
47- How I wonder at a man who loses hope of salvation when the door of repentance is open for him.
ّ ُه ک ،م يةِ اللييه َ ُ من َلم ي َ ل ال َ ال-48 ِ س ِ ّ قن ِ ف ِ ف َ ميين َرح َ ِقيه ُ قي َ ط الن ّييا .مکرِ الله ِ منُهم ِ وََلم ُيؤ،ح الله ِ وََلم ُيؤِيسُهم َ من ِ من َرو 48- He is the wisest and the most knowing man who advises people not to lose hope and confidence in the Mercy of God and not to be too sure and over-confident of immunity from His Wrath and Punishment.
ّ مي ّ مي فَييابت َُغوا ل َهَييا،ن ُ ن ه يذ ِهِ ال ُ دا َ ل اَلب ي َ قل ُييو ّ إ-49 َ َ مييا ت َ َل ک َ َب ت .م ِ ف ال َ ِ ط ََرائ ِ َ حک
49- Like your body your mind also gets tired and fagged, in such case find educational diversions for it.
َ َ ي َ َما وَق َ أو-50 َ ف ع ََلی الّلن َ ه ُ ُن وَأرفَع َ ِ ضعُ الِعلم ِ سا ِ ما ظ ََهييَر فيي َ ح َواَلر .ن َ کا َ َ ال َ ج ِ ِوار 50- That knowledge is very superficial which remains only on your tongue; the intrinsic merit and value of knowledge is that you act upon it.
َ عقي َ عقي َ خب ََر إ ،ة َ عاي َيةٍ َل َ ل َر َ ُ موه َ قُلوا ال ٍ ل رَِواي َي ِ سي ِ إع-51 َ ذا ُ ُ معت ٌ ة قَِلي .ل َ ن ُرَواة َ الِعلم ِ ک َِثيٌر وَُر ٌ َ عات ّ َفإ
51- Whenever a tradition of the Holy Prophet (A.S.) is related to you examine it carefully and think over it deeply, do not be satisfied with mere verbatim repletion of the same, because.” there are many people who repeat the words containing knowledge but there are few who ponder over them and try to fully grasp the meaning they convey.
،م َ ِ ِباسِتص يَغار:ث ٍ ج إّل ب ِث ََل ِ َ َل َيست-52 َ ضاُء ال َ َم ق َ ها ل َِتعظ ُي ُ قي َ ح ِ وائ َ ُ جِيلَها ل َِتهن .ؤ ِ وَِباسِتکَتا ِ وب َِتع،مها ل َِتظهََر 52- To secure for your self fame, credit as well as blessings the help that you give to men in need should possess following attributes: (a) whatever its extent it should be considered by you as trifling so that it may be granted a high status; (b) it should be given secretly, then the Lord will bestow upon it fame and celebrity and (c) it must be given immediately, so that it may bring pleasure and utility to the receiver.
َ َ َ س هم إّل ُ دني َييا ِ ً شيئا ُ ح ُ َل َيتُرکُ الّنا-53 ِ من أمرِ ِدين ِِهم ِلسِتص يل .ه ِ ضّر َ ما هُوَ أ َ َ فَت ُ من َ ح الله ع ََليِهم 53- Those who give up religion to better their circumstances in life seldom succeed. The Wrath of God makes them go through more calamities and losses than the gains they gather for themselves.
.ه َ ه َل َين َ ب ِ َ و،ه َ ه ّ ُر-54 ُ ُفع ُ َمع َ ه ُ م ُ عل ُ ُ جهل ُ َ عال ِم ٍ َقد قَت َل
54- There are many educated people who have ruined their future on account of their ignorance of religion. Their knowledge did not prove of any avail to them.
َ َل يقي-55 ضيارِع ُ وََل َ ُ وََل ي،صيانع ُ م أمَر الله َ ه إَل ُ َ سبحان ُ ُِ َ ُ مين َل ي َ ي َّتبعُ اَلم .ع ِ طا َ م 55- Only such a person can establish the Divine Rule, who, where justice and equity are required, will neither feel deficient nor weak and who is not greedy and avaricious.
َ ذا استوَلی الصلح ع ََلی الزمييان وَأهل ِيه ث ُي ٌ جي َ إ-56 ل ِ َ ُ سيياَء َر ُ ّ َ مأ ّ َ ِ َ ّ ّ الظ َ َوإ،م ی َ َة ف جي ٌ حوب َي ِ ل ل َييم َتظهَيير َ ه ُ ن ب َِر َ قييد ظ َل َي ُ مني ٍ ّ َ ذا اسيَتول َ َ ٌ جي قييد َ َل ف َ ال ُ ن ب َِر ُ ن َر َ ن وَ أهل ِهِ فَأح َ ف َ ساد َ ع ََلی الّز ٍ جي ّ ل الظ ّي َ س ِ ما .غ َّرَر
56- When a community is composed of really honest, sober and virtuous people then your forming a bead opinion about anyone of its members when nothing wicked has been seen of him is a great injustice to him; on the contrary in a corrupt society, to from a good opinion of anyone out of those people and to trust him is doing harm to yourself.
َ َ :م َ وَِقي-57 .ن؟ َ کي ي ِ مييؤ ِ ج يد ُکَ ي َييا أ ُ س يَل ّ ه ع ََليهِ ال ُ ميَرال ِ َف ن ُ َل ل َ مِني َ :م َ قا م َ وََيسي،ه َ َ ميين َيفن َييی ب ِب َ َف َ کيي ِ ِ قييائ ُ ف ي َک ُييو ُ سيَل ّ ل ع ََلييهِ ال ُ ق َ ن .ه ِ ِ من ِ وَُيؤَتی،ه ِ ِ حت ِ ِب ّ ص َ مأ َ من 57- When somebody asked Hazard as to how he was getting on. He replied: "What do you want to know about a person whose life is leading him towards ultimate death, whose health is the first stage towards illness and whom society has forced out of his retreat".
.ة ُ ة ال ٌ ص ُ َ ضاع َ إ-58 ّ ُ صة ِ غ َ فر
58- To lose or to waste an opportunity will result in grief and sorrow.
ُ َ مث م الّنياقِعُ ِفيي َ ل ال ّ ل الي ّ سيَها َوال ّ م ّ سي َ ن َ َ دنَيا ک َ -59 ٌ حّييةِ ل َّيي ِ مَثي ُ ِب الَعاق ُ ِ جاه ُ ها .ل َ ل وَ َيخذ َُر ّ ّ ذو الل َ ودی إَليَها الغِّر ال َ ِ َيه،جوفَِها 59- The world, which offers your vicious pleasures is like a snake, so soft to the touch, but so full of lethal poison. Unwise people are allured by it and drawn towards it and wise men avoid it and keep away from its poisonous effects.
َ -60 َو،ه َ ه وَ َتب ُ َل َتذه َ شّتا ُ قييی ت َب ِعَت ُي ُ ُ ب ل َيذ ّت َ َ ع:مَلين َ َن ع َ ن ٍ م َ ما َبي َ ُ م .ه َ ه وَ َيب ُ َل َتذه ُ قی أجُر ُ ُ ؤؤن َت َ ب َ َع ٍ م 60- What difference is there between a deed whose pleasure passes away leaving behind it the pangs of pain and punishment and the deed whose cruel severity or oppressive harshness comes to an end leaving behind it heavenly rewards and blessings.
َ ب ّ َ ميين ذ حت ِ ي َنف َ َ ص يل َ س يهِ وَ ط َييا ُ ُ کس يب َ ِ ط ُييوَبی ل-61 َ َه و ِ ل في َ َ َسييک َ فض َ فقَ ال َ وَ أن،ه َ خِلي َ سَنت ِ ِ مال ِ ل َ َه و َ وَ أم،ه ُ ح َ َ من ُ ُ قت ُ ُ ريَرت ِ س َ سان ِهِ وَ ع ََز َ فض ّ س ،ة َ ال َ ل ُ ّ س ين ِ َ وَو،ه ِ ل ّ ه ال َ ِ من ل ُ س يَعت ُ شيير ِ عن الّنا .ة ِ َ سب إَلی الِبدع َ وََلم ُين 61- Blessings are for the man who humbles himself before God, Whose sources of income are honest, whose intentions are always honourable, whose character is noble, whose habits are sober, who gives away in the name and in the cause of God the wealth which is lying surplus with him who controls his torgue from vicious and useless talk, who abstains from oppression and tyranny, who cheerfully and faithfully follows the traditions of the Holy Prophet (A.S.)and who keeps himself away from innovation in religion.
ُ ج ه ُ َ وَي،ب َ ل ال ِ َ ت ِللب ِ ذي ِ فقَر ال ّي َ ه هَيَر ُ ُ فييوت ُ مني ِ ل َيسَتع ُ جب ِ َ ع-62 ِ خي َو،قيَراِء َ ف َ ش ال َ دنَيا ِ ّ الغَِنی ال ّ ش فِييي الي َ ذي إّياه ُ ط َل َي َ عيي ُ ب فَي َِعيي .ب أَلغن َِياِء ِ ب ِفی ال َ سا َ ِخَرة ُ س َ ُي َ ح َ حا 62- How I wonder at the mentality of a miser; fearing poverty he takes to stinginess and thus hastily pushes himself head-long into a state of want and destitution; be madly desires plenty and ease but throws it away without understanding. In this world he, of his own free will, leads the life of a bagger and in the next world he will have to submit an account like a millionaire.
ميين َ جي َ حا َ ی ب ِيا َل َّهم وََل َ ة للييه ِفي َ َصَر فييي الع َ -63 ّ َمن ق ِ مي َ ل ابت ُل ِي .ب ِ َ سه ِ ن ِ مال ِهِ وََنف ٌ صي َ س لله ِفي َ َلي
63- Whoever is not diligent in his work will suffer sorrow and loss; whoever has no share of God in his wealth and in his life then there is no place for him in the Realm of God.
َ ِ عين .ک َ مخُلوقَ ِفي َ م ال ِ ق ِ -64 َ صغُّر ال ُ َ عظ َ ُ عند َکَ ي ِ ِ خال
64- If you understand the Majesty of the Lord then you Will not attach any importance to the universe and its marvels.
ّ ُ مَلکا ً ي َُناِدي في ک معُييوا ِ مييو ُ ِ ل: ٍ ل َيوم ّ إ-65 َ َواج،ت َ دوا ِلل َ ن الله .ب َ ِلل َ َوابُنوا ِلل،فَناِء ِ خَرا
65- An Angel announces daily "The birth of more human beings means so many more will die; the collection of more wealth means so much more will be destroyed; the erection of more buildings means so many more ruins in time to come.
َ َحّتی َيحف ُ َ َل ي-66 ي َ َظ أ ٍ ي ث ََل ِ ص ِ ص َ ً ديقا ُ کو َ ُديق ّ ن ال ِ ف ي:ث ِ خاه ُ ف ي َ َ و،ه .ه ِ ِ وَوََفات،ه ِ ِ غيب َت ِ ِ َنکب َت
66- A friend cannot be considered as a friend unless be is tested on three occasions: in time of need; behind your back and after your death.
ٌ جي ل ّ م ُ َر:جَلن ُ س ِفيهَييا َر َ مرٍ إَلی َ دنَيا ّ ال-67 َ ِدار ّ م َ داُر ُ َوالن ّييا،ر ٍ ق َ َ ٌ ج .قَها َ َ ه فَأعت َ َ ل ابَتاع َ ن َ َ ه فَأوب ُ وََر، قَها َ ف َ َباع َ ِفيَها َنف ُ س ُ س 67- This world is not a place of permanent settlement, it is a passage, a road on which you are passing; there are two kinds of people here, one is the kind who have sold their souls for Eternal Damnation. the other is of those who have purchased thir souls and freed them from damnation.
ُ ِ وَل، ف ّ کيي ّ ُ جَهاد ُ ک ّ ُن ک ل ّ َل ت ق ٍ ضِعي َ ل ّ ح َ َوال، ي ُ صَلة ُ ُقرَبا ِ ج ّ ال-68 ٍ َ َ وََز،ة َ ن ٌ شيييٍء َزکييا ُ ِمييرأة ُ صييَيا َ جَهيياد ُ ال ِ َ و،م ّ ن ال ُ حسيي ِ َ کيياة ُ الَبييد .ل ِ ّالت ّب َع
68- Daily prayers are the best medium to advance oneself in favour of the Lord. Haj is a Jehad (holy War) for every weak person. For everything that you own there is Zakaat, a tax paid to the Lord, and the tax of your health is that you keep fast. The best Jehad of a woman against man is to render his home -life pleasing and congenial.

69- If you want to pray to the Lord for better means of subsistence then first give something in charity.

70- Sorrow will make you half as decrepit as old age.
َ َ و،مُأ َ -71 کم ِ صَيا ِ من ِ س َله ِ کم ُ مهِ إّل ال َ ّ جوع ُ َوالظ َ صائ ِم ٍ َلي َ من َ حب ّي م ِ ميين قِي َييا ِ ه ِ َ سييهُر َوالعَن َيياُء ُ ذا ن َييو ّ مهِ إّل ال ُ س ل َي َ من قَييائ ِم ٍ َليي َ الکَياس َوإف . هم ُ طاُر ِ
71-Many persons get nothing out of their fasts but hunger and thirst; many more get nothing out of their night prayers but exertions and sleepless nights. Wise and sagacious persons are praiseworthy even if they do not fast and sleep during the nights.
،ة ٌ س ث ََلث َي ٍ جييا َ َل ن َ م ع َل َييی ٌ مت َعَل ّي ُ َي و ٌ ِ فَعَييال:ة ُ الن ّييا-72 ِ سيِبي ّ م َرب ّييان َ ّ ُ معَ ک ّ ُ عاع ٌ أتَباع ُ ک ُ ضييي ؤوا َ ج َر ِ ل َنا ِ َ ح َلم َيست ِ َق ي َ ميُلو ٌ م َ ن َ َوَه ٍ ل ِري ٍ ع ُ َ .ق َ وََلم َيل،م ٍ ن وَِثي ٍ جأوا إلی ُرک ِ ب ُِنورِ اِلعل
72- Remember that there are three kinds of people, one kind is of those learned people who are highly versed in the ethics of truth and philosophy of religion, second is the kind of those who are acquiring the above knowledge, and the third is that class of people who are uneducated. They follow every pretender and accept every slogan, they have neither acquired any knowledge nor have they secured the support of firm and rational convictions.
َ ُ مي ت َ م ِ خي يٌر ُ م َنحُر َ س يکَ وَأن ي ُ َوالِعل ي،ل ُ ل الِعل َ ُ َيا ک-73 ِ ن اَلمييا َ مي ُ م َيز َ ما َ لن َ ف َ ّ ه الن ُ ل َتن ُ ق ُصيِنيع ُ ة َوالِعل ُ ص َ َ س ال َ َ و،ق ُ ق ُ َتحُر ِ فا ِ کو ع ََلی ا ُ ل ي َُزو . ِل ب َِزَوال ِه َ َ ال ِ ما
73- "Remember Kumail, Knowledge is better than and superior to wealth because it protects you and you have to guard wealth; because wealth decreases if you keep on spending it and knowledge increases the more you make use of it; and because what you get through wealth disappears as soon as wealth disappears.

74- A man can be valued through his: sayings.

75- One who does not realise his own value is condemned to utter failure. (Every kind of complex, superiority or inferiority is handful to man).
َ فَر َوإن َ طا .ن َ ّ صُبوُر الظ ُ ما ُ َ َل َيعد-76 َ ل ب ِهِ الّز ّ م ال
76- One who adopts patience will never be deprived of success though the success may take a long time to reach him.
َ ٍ ل َقوم ّ معَُهم وَع ََلی ک ُي ل ِ دا ِ دا ِ ِ ضي ب ِ الّرا-77 َ ل ّ کال َ ِل ِفيه ٍ خي ِ خ ِ فع .ه ِ ِ ضی ب َ م الّر ُ ل ب ِهِ َوإث َ َم الع ُ إث:ن َ ل إث ِ م ِ ما ٍ ِ ِفي َباط 77- One who assents or subscribes to the actions of a group or a party is as good as if he has committed the deed himself. A man who joins a sinful deed makes himself responsible for two-fold punishments; one for doing the deed and the other for assenting and subscribing to it.
َ ه ِ سياَء ِبي ِ ُميةِ فََل َييو ِ وا َ َمن و َ مين أ َ ضعَ َنف َ ن َ ضيعَ الّته َ ه ُ س َ -78 ّ م َ م .ن ّ ّ الظ
78- One who enters the places of evil reputes has no right to complain against a man who talks evils of him.
َ جا َ ل َ من شيياَرک ََها فِييي َ شاوََر الّر َ َ و، َن است َب َد ّ ب َِراب ِهِ هَل َک َ -79 ِ م . ولَها ُ ُع ِ ق 79- One who is wilful and conceited will suffer losses and calamity and one who seeks advices can secure advantages of many counsels.
َ ُ سّره .ه ِ ت ال ِ ِ خي ََرة ُ ب ِي َد ِ َ کان ِ م َ َ من ک َت َ -80
80- One who guards his secrets has complete control over his affairs.
.ن ع ََلی العَِباِد ُ مَعاد ِ الُعدَوا َ س الّزاد ُ إَلی ال َ ِبئ-81
81- Oppression and tyranny are the worse companions for hereafter.
َ .ن َ ذي ِ ِح ل ُ صب َ َقد أ-82 ّ ضاَء ال ِ عيَني
82- There is enough light for one who wants to see.
َ َ َ -83 .ت ٍ من ََعت أک ََل ِ کم َ ٍمن أکل َة
83- Often the inordinate desire to secure a single gain acts as a hindrance for the quest of many profitable pursuits.
َ . جهُِلوا َ ما َ س أع َ داُء ُ الّنا-84
84- People often hate those things which they do not know or cannot understand.
َ خ َ َ ن اسَتقب . طإ َ واقِعَ ال َ جوه َ الَراِء ع ََر ُ ُل و َ ف َ -85 َ م ِ م
85-0ne who seeks advices learns to recognise mistakes.
َ م-86 ل ِ لأ ِ ّ حد ّ ش َ َن الغ َ سَنا َ نأ ِ ض ِ داءِ الَباط ِي ِ ب لله قَوِيَ ع ََلی َقت ِ َ . 86- One who fights for the cause of God secures vitory over His enemies.
َ َ إ-87 ف َ َت َأمرا ً ف َ َ ما ت ُ خا ِ م ِ ن ِ قع ِفي ِ ذا ّ َفإ،ه ّ م ُ َ شد ّة َ ت َوَّقيهِ أعظ َ هب .ه ِ ُ من 87- JJ7zen you feel afraid or nervous to do a thing then do it, because the real harm which you may thus receive is less poignant than its expectation and fear.

88- Your supremacy over others is in proportion to the extent of your knowledge and wisdom.

89- The best way to punish an evil-doer is to reward handsomely the good deeds of a good person.

90- Obstinacy and stubbornness will not allow you to arrive at a correct decision.

91- Deficiency will result in shame and sorrow, but caution and foresight will bring peace and security.
َ َ خير في الصمت ع َن الحکم ک ل َ ي ال َ ه َل ِ ّ ُ ّ ما أن َ ِ ُ ِ قييو َ َ َل-92 ِ خيَر فيي ِ ِ .ل َ ِبال ِ جه 92- To keep silent when you can say something wise and useful is as bad as to keep on propagating foolish and unwise thoughts.
َ ن إّل .ة َ َ ما اخت َل ً َ ضَلل َ ما َ کاَنت إح َ فت َ ُداه َ -93 ِ دعوََتا
93- If two opposite theories are propagated one will be wrong.
َ َ ِن ل َِغير .ک َ ِت ِفيه ٌ ِخاز َ َ ن آد َ َ ما ک َ ت َفوقَ ُقوت ِکَ فَأن َ سب َ م َ َيا اب-94
94- 0 son of Adam! Whatever thou hath collected more than thy actual need, thou art not going to use, thou wilt act only as trustee for someone else.
َ َ َ حقّ هَل .ک َ ه ِلل َ صف َ من أب ُ َ حت َ -95 َ دی
95- One who starts tyranny will repent soon.
َ . ُ جَزع َ ه ال ّ َ من َلم ي ُن ُ َ صبُر أهل َک َ -96 ّ جهِ ال
96- One who cannot benefit by patience will die of grief and excitement.
َ َ َ و-97 َ شفي ُ قو َ ظي إ ،ت ُ َم ي ِ َ ذا غ ِ غي ِ مَتی أ َ کا ُ سَل ّ ن ع ََليهِ ال ُ ضييب َ :ل َ حي َ ُ قا ن َأق يد ُِر َ ُ قام ِ فَي َ ِ لنت ِ َأم،ت َ صيَبر ِ ن أع َ ل ِلي ل َييو َ حيي َ ِ أ ِ نا ِ َ جُز ع ُ قا .ت َ َ ل لي َلوع َ ُ عليهِ فَي َ َ فو 97- When I feel angry with a person how and when should I satisfy my anger, whether at a time when I am not. in a position to retaliate and people may advise me to bear patiently, or when I have power to punish and I forgive.
َقييد َيشييک ُُرک َ َ من َل َيشک ُُرل َ َ ف،ک ِ معُرو َ ف َ َل ي َُزهّد َن ّکَ في ال-98 ّ شييکرِ ال ُ ميين شيياک ِرِ َأکث َيَر ِ َ وََقد ت ُييدرِک،ه ِ ُمن َل َيسَتمت ِع ُ من َ ِع ََليه َ َ ضاع َ ال .ن ِ ُ کافُِر َوالله ي ِ مح ِ ّ ح َ ما أ ُ ب ال ّ م َ سِني
98- If you find that somebody is not grateful for all that you have done for him then do not get disappointed because often you will fitna that someone else feels under your obligation though you have done nothing for him and thus your good deeds will be compensated, and God will reward you for your goodness.

99- Hearts (minds) have the tendencies of likes and dislikes, and are liable to be energetic and lethargic, therefore, make them work when they are energetic and on subjects which they like.

1- The best and most respected virtue of a man is to do well and to fulfil the desires of the needy.

2- The honest man has not betrayed you, but you consider the betrayer as the honest one.

3- You had better avoid the munificence that results in the greater loss to you than the benefits received by your brethren.
َ ل ِباَلر ٌ م .ن َ ة ِبال ُ َمعرِف ُ ما َ ّ ن إقَراٌر ِبالل َ َ ب وَع َ َن و َ ا َِلي-4 ِ قل ِ کا ِ سا
4- True faith means, oral acknowledgement, heart-felt knowledge and the good practice. .

6- He who is sure about the divine rewards will be more generous. .

7- He who adopts someone as a brother in order to provide God's consent will be given a chamber in paradise.

8- Giving alms is the most valuable savings.
َ َ ُ ن ال ُ ض .ل ِ صا ٌ ّ ة وَن ِي ٌ ّ جي َ ب الن ّي ّةِ أف ُ ح ُ -9 َ ق ِ س َ َة و ُ حس ِ خل
9- Good temper could be divided into two categories.. 1- Intrinsic. 2- Voluntary. The possessor' of which is considered to be the better person.

10- To be patient in the face of hardships is a virtue but to refrain from forbidden deeds is a greater one.

11- Patience and resignation are considered as the worthiest devotions.
َ ُ س العَباد َة فک ّيُر َ ّ مييا العِب َيياد َة ُ الت َ ّ صييوم ِ إن ّ صيَلةِ َوال ّ کثَرة َ ال َ َلي-12 َ ّ ج .ل َ َي أمرِ الله ع َّزو ِ ف
12- True devotion not only means excessive saying of prayers and keeping fasts. One ought to meditate on The Divinity profoundly.
ر َ م ِ ص َ ّ ضِع َوالعَد ُوّ ِبالت ُ وا َ اص-13 ّ حّرزِ َوالَعا ّ ب ال ِ ح َ ّ ديقَ ِبالت ِ ة ِبالِبش . 13- Be modest before your friends and be prudent while encountering an enemy. Be pleasant with everyone.
َ قُهم ري ُ ِ مال ِهِ فَُيعت َ کي َ ِ ري العَِبيد َ ب َ ِت ل ُ جب ِ َ ع-14 ِ َ ف َل َيشت ِ َ من َيشت .ه ُ حسن ِ ق ِ خل ُ ِ اَلحَراَر ب 14- I wonder at one who purchases the slaves and releases them. Why doesn't he try to make the free people indebted by his good conduct?
َ َ ل َ س َ س ِ س أکث َُر ِ ما في أي َ من َ -15 ّ َس ع ِ خاِء الَبذ ِ دي الّنا ِ خاُء الّنف . 15- It is much better to be uninterested in other's properties than to be munificent.
َ ُ ض . ِصد َقَة َ -16 ِ ل َ ف أف ِ ضِعي ّ عون ُکَ ِلل ّ ن ال َ م
16- To help the disabled is much better than to give alms.
َ ُ ض .ض َ أف-17 َ ل َ ل ال ُ ي ب ِهِ الِعر َ ِما وُق ِ ما
17-Best wealth is that which provides a good name for its owner.
ُ . ِمه َ ن ِ خيٌر ّ من ل ََبن أ ّ س ِلل َ َلي-18 ٌ َ ي ل َب ّ ِ صب
18- There is no better milk for the baby's nourishment than its mother's.
َ .ه ِ ِن ب َ من أ َ ض َنف َ ن َ مةِ فََل ي َُلو َ ه ِللّته ُ س َ مَن ع ََر-19 ّ ّ ساءَ الظ ّ م
19- He who exposes himself to an open accusation should not blame those who may suspect him.

20- The oppressors will finally be punished.
َ من أ َراد َأن يکو-21 ُ َ س َفلي عن يد َ اللييه ِ ما َ ُ َ َ َ َ ِ کن َواِثقا ً ب َ ِ ن أغَنی الّنا ّ.جل َ َع َّزو 21- He who wishes to be the most need- less J should put his full trust in God.

22- He who shows patience in providing God's consent will no doubt get more than what he has lost.
َ َ َ صيل ِ َ جِليهِ وَُييَزاد َ ِفيي ِرزِقيهِ َفلي َ سيأ ِفيي أ َ سيّره ُ أن ُين َ من َ -23 .ه ِ َر ُ م َ ح
23- He who desires to postpone the time of his decease and wishes to have his sustenance increased should observe ties of kin\'hip.
.ة َ ج الله َ ج ِ م ِ م ال ِ مؤ َ ن فَّر َ من فَّر َ عن َقلب ِهِ َيو َ قَيا ُ عن َ -24 ٍ م
24- God will make happy on the Day of Judgement, the person who has removed the grief from the heart of a believer
َ َ دت َ ما ن َأت ٌ ّ شي ِ واَر الن ّعَم ِ َفإن َّها َوح ِ أح-25 َ عن َقوم ٍ فََعا َ ة ِ سُنوا َ ج .إَليِهم 25-Be good companions of blessings because they are fleeting: once gone away, will not return.

26- To use scent is a manner of the holy prophets (A.S.). Cleanliness is characteristic of prophets.

27- One who breaks his promise will not be left safe and sound in the unpleasant events.
َ َ عند .غيرِ َأهل َِها ِ ضُعوا َ م ِ ضي ُّعوا ال َ َما و َ ماَء ُ ن ال ّ ِ إ-28 ّ َة ل َ حک َ َ حک
28- If the men of knowledge present their knowledge to the ignorant people, they have spoiled it.
َ حقّ إ .ه ِ ِ دعُتم ب ِ ص ِ ضُبوا َ ن ال َ َل َتغ-29 ُ ذا َ م
29-Do not get angry when you are informed of the truth.
َ مکَ إَلی ِ ري ِ ه ِ ف أن َتم ِ -30 َ من َ ِه فَُتخر ِ ضي ّ حقّ ال َ من ُ ج ُ َمع َ شي ِ ح .ب ِ الَبا One ought to see his guests off to the ga -30
َ . ِ حارِم َ داءُ ال َ م َ أ:ن ُ ما َ ب ال َ لي ِ ض َواجت َِنا ِ َ ا-31 ِ ِ فَرائ
31- True faith means the accomplishment of the 'religious obligations along with the avoidance of the forbid- den acts.
َ ُ خ َ سل ن اللييه َ ط الله ِ ما ُيس َ خ يَر َ من أر ُ ضی َ ِ طانا ً ب َ -32 ِ ج ع َيين ِدي ي ّ ج .ل َ َع َّزو 32- He who causes God's wrath in order to provide a king's consent is an apostate.
َ ق .ق َ شيٍء َأث ُ ن ال ِ ن ِ ل في ال ِ من ِ ما ُ من َ -33 ِ ميَزا ِ خل ِ حس
33- Nothing is more worthy than good temper.
َ َ ِ هم ب ُ ِ وال ُ ّ إن-34 ه ُ سُعو ِ وج َ َکم ف َ َ کم َلن ت َ سُعوا الّنا َ طلقَةِ اليي َ س ب ِأم .قاِء َ حسن إل ُ َو
You who can not satisfy people with your riches had better try to -34 .make them happy with a king face and good manners
َ . ِ مة ِ ب ال ِ ب ٌ ت َبا َ حک ُ صم ِ وا ّ َال-35 َ من أب
35- Silence is one of the gates to wisdom.
ّ ُ ديقُ ک .ه َ ٍریء ِ ص َ ُ ه وَع َد ُوّه ُ ُ جهل ُ ُ عقل َ -36 ِ ل ام
36- Man's intellect is his friend and ignorance, his foe.
َ .س ُ َ مسأل ِ ة ٌ مفَتا ُ ِ س ُيذه َ مَهاب َةِ َوال َ ب ال ُ ا َُلن-37 ِ حف ِ ي الُبو
37-As soon as the intimacy appears the awe vani,\'hes. Requisition for help is the beginning of misfortune.
.ه ِ ال-38 َ ِمن َناَزع َ الله ر َ ِکبُر ر ُ م َ ص َ داءُ الله َ َداَءه ُ ق
38- Almightiness is reserved for God the One. He who claims the possession of this status will be perished by God.
َ م ُ َ َل َيقب-39 ن َ ِمُر ِفي َقلب ِه َ ل ِ مييؤ ِ عبد ٍ وَ هُوَ ُيض ُ علييی َ َ ل الله ع ٍ م .سوءًا ُ 39- lf a person holds a mal thought towards another believer, then God will not accept his religious deeds.
َ َ ما َأهل ُ إّيا-40 .ة َ ِ سال َ ف ِ کم َوال َ ص َوال ّ م ال َ ح َ م َ کا اُل َ ُسد َ َفإن ّه َ حر
40- Keep aloof from avarice and envy. These two qualities have already destroyed the peoples gone by.
َ ينبِغي ِللرج-41 .ه َ َسع ِ علی َ َ ّ َل أن ي ُو ُ َ موت َ مّنوا َ َ عَيال ِهِ ل ِئ َّل ي َت ِ ُ ّ
41- One ought to be open- handed towards his household, lest they wish for his death.
ُ ن ل َييم َيشي ُ من ل َييم َيشي کر اللييه ِ م َ ن ال َ منعِي ُ کر ال َ -42 َ مخل ُييوِقي َ مي ّ ج .ل َ َع َّزو 42- He who does not offer his thanks to his benefactor has not actually praised God the great and the glorious.
َ ُ ي َيأک ُي ه ِ سي ِ م ِ ميين ط َعَييا ِ س لي َييأک ُُلوا ِ ل ّ َال-43 ّ خ ِ ميين طعَييام ِ الن ّييا َ ُ ُ ل َل َيأک ُ خي .ه ِ َ َوالب ِ م ِ من ط ََعا ِ س ل ِئ َّل َيأک ُُلوا ِ ل ِ من طَعام ِ الّنا
43- A generous man will eat other's food so that they might partake of his food. A miser refuses to eat the food of others in order to deprive them of his own food.
َ ن .ه َ َ من ع َت ُ ُ معت َب َت َ طاَلت َ ب ع ََلی الّز َ -44 ِ ما
44- He who blames time should spend a long time blaming.
ي ِ دنَيا ا ََلسي ّ ي الي َ َخَياُء و َ -45 ِ س في ِ س في ِ سيياد َة ُ الن ّييا ِ ساد َة ُ الن ّييا .قَياُء ِ ال ِ خَرةِ اَلت
45- The generous are the masters of the people in this world, while the pious are their chiefs on doomsday.
َ حقّ َوإن .مّرًا َ کا َ اصب ُِروا ع ََلی ال-46 ُ ن
.Be patient in the face of truth bitter though it might taste to thee -46
َ ّ َ کم فَن ُ ّ ق َرب ُ ُواه .ک َ ظفو ِ وا ِ ٌکم ط ُُرق ّ ها ِبال َ س َ أف-47 ِ من ط ُُر
47- Your mouth is one of the channels through which you make contact with God. You had then better keep it clean by brushing your teeth.
َ َ ف ع َيين أ ذی َ َل وََرع َ َأن-48 ّ حييارِم ِ اللييه َوالک َي ِ ُف يع َ م َ َ ميين ت َ ب ِ جن ّي .ن ِ مؤ ُ ال ِ م
48- Pure piety is not but avoidance of mortal sins and abstinence from persecuting the faithful.
َ ف .سَر َ َ من غ َ عنَها َ ل ِ خ َ ِ ه َرب َ س َ من َ ب َنف َ حا َ َح و ُ س َ -49
49- He who assesses himself carefully will finally benefit: the negligent will lose out.
َ ٍصيييَرة َ علييی َ علی ُ م ق َل َ ِسييائ ِر َ ل ِ َ غيرِ ب ِ َالَعا-50 ّ کال ِ ّ غييرِ الط ِ ريي ّ عن ال .طريق َ ً سيرِ إ َِل ُبعدا ُ َ سرع ّ ة ال ُ ُ زيد ُه ِ َي
50- He who acts with no insight looks like a pedestrian who travels on a wrong path. The faster he walks, the deviated he becomes out the straight path.
ُ خ ّ جي ل ع ََلي يهِ فييي َبيت ِيهِ َول َ جَل ً ي ُييد ُ ض َر َ َن اللييه ع َّزو ّ إ-51 ُ ل ُيبغِي ُ ِ قات .ل َ ُي
51- God likes not the person who has not defended his assailed house.
َ ّ َن ق .عفوًا َ َ ما الت َ ما ِ ُ ط إّل ن َ ُ مه ُ َ صَر أعظ َ -52 ِ قت فِئ ََتا
52- The forgiving warriors enjoy divine victory in the battlefield.
َ ميين أ َراد َأن يک ُييو-53 ه ِ س يّر ِ ق اللييه فِييي َ َ َ َ َ ِ س َفلي َت ّي ِ ن أع َ يّز الن ّييا .ه ِ ِ وَع ََلن ِي َت
53- He who wishes to be the dearest to the people must be virtuous both in public and in secret.
ُ دب ُ الَعق-54 .ة َ کل ً ف ِ ل ِ ُحَباء َ َ ن الله َواَل َ م
54- Human intellect is a divine blessing but politeness is acquired through endeavouring.
َ َالّتدبيُر َقب-55 .م ِ َمن ُک ِ ل ُيو َ َل الع َ م ِ م ِ َ ن الن ّد
55-Prudence keeps repentance away.
َ ِ سَنات .ک َ ّ َالت-56 ِ فک ُّر َ َسي َِئات ِکَ و َ ح َ َريک ِ ُ مرات ُکَ ت
56- Reflection is the mirror into which you can look and see your virtues and your evils.
َ ن َفإ .ل َأوط ََنا ِ مو ِ َ ذا ظ ُ َ ن الغَِنی َوالعِّز ي ّ إ-57 َ ِ فرا ب ِ ّ ضِع الّتوک ِ جوَل
57-Magnanimity is unstable. Trust in God will give it stability.
.دوِر ُ ّ الهَد ِي-58 ِ ن ُ ص ّ ب ال ُ ِ ة ُتذه ّ ن ال َ م َ ِ ضَغائ
58-Gifts cast out hatred from the heart.
َ ب َأن ِ ُ مييا ت ِ ميين َنف ِ س ِ ضييعُ أن ُتع ّ حيي ُ وا َ َسييک َ ي الّنييا َ طيي َ ّ اَلت-59 ُ ُيع .ه ِ َطوک ُ َ مثل 59- Humbleness means treating others the same way as you expect them to treat you.
َ ّ عبد لله ع َزوج َ ع ُ ج يَرت ي َن َيياِبي َ صَباحا ً إّل َ َ ّ ٌ َ ص َ -60 َ ن َ َ ما أخل َ ل أرب َِعي . ِسان ِه َ ِمن َقلب ِه ِ ال ِ ِ مة َ ِ علی ل َ َ حک 60- He who tries to keep himself immaculate for forty days, God will let the waves of wisdom flow from his heart to his tongue.
. ِحب ِه َ ة َتدفَعُ ال َ م ِ صا َ َصد َق َ ق ّ إ-61 َ مبَر ُ ضاَء ال َ عن ّ ن ال
61- Giving alms repels the certain catastrophe.
َ کو َ َ ّ َس َفلي َت َو . کل ع ََلی الله َ ُ َ من أَراد َ أن ي َ -62 َ ن أق ِ وی الّنا
62- He who wishes to be the strongest of all should rely on God.
َ ل المؤمِني ُ م .خلقًا ُ سن ُُهم َ ن أح َ اَک-63 َ ِ ُ
63- The believer who is endowed with a good temper will have the strongest faith.
َ س َ لي ُ َرأ-64 ِ مييا ِ س الَعقييل َبعييد َ ا ِ ن ِبييا للييه الّتييوَد ّد ُ ا ِلييی الّنييا ّ ُ خيرِ إَلی ک .ر َ َواصط َِناِع ال ِ ل ب َّر وَ َفا ٍ ج 64- Perfection in intellect is primarily to have faith in God and secondly to behave well towards others.
َ ُ ة .م ُ ُب ع ً َ قوب ُ کفَرا ِ أسَرع ُ الذ ُّنو-65 ِ َن الن ّع
65- Penalty for ingratitude occurs instantly.
َ من ُ مي .ب ِ ِغير ِ ُ َالَعفو: ل ِ ج َ ح ال ُ صف ٍ عَتا ّ َال-66
66- Remission is good when not accompanied by blame.
ن َ إخ:ر ِ َصبُر ع ََلي ال َّرَزاَيا و ِ -67 ُ مييا َ كت َ َفاُء الع َ ّ ل َوال ِ م ِ ِ من ك ُُنوُز ال ّب .ب َ ال ِ ِ صائ َ م 67- Treasures of beneficence include concealment of your good deeds, tolerance in hardships and reticence in disasters.
َ ُ ذا قَدر َلم يأ َ نإ .ه ّ ح ِ ق ِ خذ أکث ََر ِ مؤ َ من َ ُ ال-68 ََ ُ م
68- A faithful Muslim never exceeds his legitimate right when he is in power.
َ نإ . ّحق ِ ه ِ َ ذا غ ِ مؤ َ من َ َه غ َ ض ُ ُ ضب ُ رج ُ ال-69 ُ م ِ ب َلم ُيخ
69- The believer’s fury will not deviate him from the right path.
َ َ . منُهم ِ س ِ ِ مسل َ َ من أصب ُ م ب ِأمرِ ال ّ َ ح َل َيهت َ -70 َ ن فََلي َ مي
70- He who begins his day without being concerned about improving the Muslim's affairs should not be called a Muslim.
.ه ِ ِ سان ِهِ وَي َد ِ ن ِ ّ ال:م َ مو َ ِ من ل ُ ِ مسل ُ م ال ُ َ ذي َيسل ُ ِ مسل ُ ال-71
71- The true Muslim never teases others with his hand or tongue.
.ه َ ما هَل َکَ امُرؤ ُ ع ََر ُ ف َقدَر َ -72
72- He who recognizes his merit will not easily perish.
ح إّل َ س َ س ِ ة ل َِنف ُ ُ ة َل َتصييل ّ سهِ هَل َکَ َفإ َ َ من ط َل َ ن الّرَيا َ ب الّرَيا َ -73 .لهل َِها َِ 73- He who is ambitious will perish. Presidency must be owned by those who are worthy of it.
ّ ل فَييإن َز ّ ِمن َوجهِيهِ ل َييم ي َيز ُ ل ل َييم َتخي ه ِ ب اَلمَر َ َ من ط َل ُ ذل َ -74 .ة ُ َ الحيل
74- He who chooses his path properly will not slip down. He will never," confront a deadlock in case he falls.
ن ِ س ِ ب ِ ب ِ ب ٌ ري ي َ ن ال ٌ ريي ٌ ري ي ّ َال-75 َ مي َ مي َ مي ّ خ ِ َجن ّيةِ ق ِ َن اللييه ق ِ َي ق .س ِ الّنا 75-A generous man is close to God, close to paradise, and close to everyone.
صييبُر فِييي ِ :ن ِ مييؤ ِ -76 ُ مييا ّ ن ال َ کت ُ ن ال َ ميةِ ِاي َ ميين ع ََل ّ سيّر َوال ِ مييا ِ م .س َ م ّ ساِء َوال َ الَبأ ُ َضّراِء و ِ داَراة ُ الّنا
76- Keeping others secrets, patience in hardships and tolerance to wards others are all signs of faith.
.ت َ ت ال ِ َال:ه ِ قي ِ ف ِ ما ِ -77 ُ صم ُ م َوالِعل ُ حل َ من ع ََل ّ م َوال
77- Tolerance, knowledge and silence are the signs found in a jurisprudent.
. ِ ن ع ََلی العَِباد ُ مَعاد ِ َالُعدَوا َ س الّزاد ُ ا َِلی ال َ ِبئ-78
78- To bear enmity towards the people is the worst provisionfor the journey to the Hereafter.
َ َ . ُ ماک ََره ِ س َ مسِلما ً أو َ ضّره ُ أو ُ ش َ مّنا ّ َ من غ َ َلي-79
79- He who betrays his brethren, causes them losses and deceives them, is not one of us.
.ه َ ِ وائ ِ س َ من ُ ق َ من َلم َيأ َ مّنا َ َلي-80 َ َ جاُره ُ ب
80- One who torments his neighbour is not one of us.
َ ً َ س .ضی َ ما َتر َ َل َتغ-81 َ س َ ل ال َّنا ِ ضب وََل َتسأ ِ ض ِللَنا ِ شيئ َا َوار
81- Never become angry with others and do not ask anything from them. Wish for the people whatever you wish for yourself.
ّ ُ من ک َ ل مييا َأس يک ََر َ َال-82 ِ مسک ُِر َ خمُر ٌ حَرا َ َب ف ُ م ب َِعين ِهِ َوال ٍ ش يَرا .م َ َک َِثيُره ُ ف َ ه ٌ حَرا ُ ُ قِليل 82- Wine and other intoxicating beverages are strictly prohibited by the religious legislation. One sip of such drinks is as illegitimate as a whole barrel is
َ ّ َ َالت ّو-83 .ل ُ س ِنص ِ ف الَعق ِ دد ا ِلی الّنا
83- To be friendly with others denotes one half of wisdom.
َ .ه ِ سعَ ع ََلی ِ صا ِ ِ عَيال ُ مةِ َيج ُ ح ّ َب أن ي ُو َ ب الّنع َ -84
84- A wealthy person ought to be generous to his family.
َ ّ ح .مسِلمًا ِ َ َل ي-85 ُ َ مسل ِم ٍ أن ي َُروّع ُ ِل ل
85- A Muslim should not frighten his brethren.
َ .هم ُ َ عند ِ ه َ ض َ َس ف ُ دی َ من أب َ ح َنف ُ س َ -86 ِ ضّره ُ ا ِلی الّنا
86- He who reveals his poverty before others will disgrace himself.
.ن ِباَلخَياِر ُ ِة اَلشَرارِ ُتور ُ س َ م ُ ث َ َ جال ُ -87 ّ ّ سوءَ الظ
87- To be in the company of villains will result in suspecting the good.
ّ ج َ ما ن ََز َالّتسِليم ِ َوالب ِّر:ة ٍ َ من َثلث ِ ل وََل ا َع َّز ِ ل َ َ ماءِ ا ّ ن ال َ س َ -88 َ م .قين ِ َ َوالي 88- Resignation, beneficence and certitude are the most precious blessings descended by Heaven.
َ قيا ُ قو ل َ َ ف.ن؟ ُ ل فِييي ال ُ َ ميات ُ سَل ّ ت ِللّرضا ع ََليهِ ال َ :م ُ ُقل-89 ِ قييرآ َ ي .ضّلوا ِ َ غيرِهِ فَت ُ ک ََل ُ م الله َل ت ََتجاوَُزو ِ وََل َتطل ُُبوا الُهدیَ ف،ه 89- Rayan says I said to Imam Reza (as) "What do you say about Quran?" '1 He said Quran is the speech of God. . Do not step ahead of it. And do not seek the guidance, except from Quran, for, you will go astray.
َ قييا َ ِ سيئ َ نإ سيُنوا َ َ ف،خي َييار العِب َيياِد ِ ل ع َيين ِ ا َل ّي:(ل )ع َ ذا َاح ُ و-90 َ ذي ُ َ َوإ،شيک َُروا َ ذا أعط ُييوا َ َوإ،فُروا َ شيُروا َوإ َ اسَتب ذا َ سيياءوا اسيَتغ َ َ ذا ا َ صب َُروا َوإ . فوا َ َ ضُبوا ع ِ َ ذا غ َ ابت ُُلوا 90- A person asked Imam Reza (as) "who are the best of the servants?" He replied", Those who get happy when they perform a good deed & when ever they do a bad & evil work they ask forgiveness from God. And whenever they are given any benediction (boon) they thank (for it) God. And while they get angry, they overlook. (remit).
َ ِ :ت َ ب د ََر ُ ِ ن ِللَعبيد ُمِليهِ فََييَراه َ َ سيوُء ع ٌ جا ِ ِللُعج-91 َ منَها أن ي َُزّيي َ َ ِ منَها أن ُيؤ ِ َ و.صنعًا ِ ه ُيح ِ ه وََيح ُ ن الَعبد ُ س َ َ ح ُ ّ ب أن ُ ُ سنا ً فَُيعجب ُ ن َ م ُ س َ َ . ِة ع َليهِ ِفيه ُ ّ من ِ ن ع َلی الله َولله ال ُ َ ب َِرب ّهِ فَي ّ م
91- There are a few stages of self admiration. one of those is that the bad actions of a person get so very decorated in his eyes that he admires them (as virtues). And another one is that a servant acquires faith, in God and boasts of a favour to Him. And God has done a favour to him in that (faith).
َ ُ ٌ ل أ َمر بث ََلث َة مقرون بهييا ث ََلَثي ميَر َ َن الله ع َّزو ّ إ-92 َ أ:ة أخيَری ِ ٍ ُ َ ٍ ِ َ َ ّ ج َ َ َ ّ َو،ه ِ صلی وَلم ي َُزکّ لم َيقَبل ِ صَلةِ َوالّزکا ُ ص يلت ُ من ي َ َ ف:ة َ ه َ من ّ ِبال َ ُ من ل َييم َيشي ّ مر ِبا ر َ کر َوال ِي َ ِ وال َ َ ف:ن ُ َ شکرِ ل َ أ َ ه وَ ِلل ِ ُ ديهِ ل َييم َيشيک ِ دي َ ه ل َييم َ ّ مَر ِبات ِ صل َةِ الّر ِ َ من َلم ي ِ َقاِء الله و ُ مي َ صييل َرح َ َحم ِ ف َ وَأ، الله ّ ج .ل َ َق الله ع َّزو ِ ّ ي َت 92- God has commanded three things along with three others (in Quran). Prayers are with alms. Thus, one who prays & does not give alms, his prayers are not approved. . The thank giving to God is ordered along with thank giving & gratitude to the parents. Therefore, one who does not thank his parents, he has not thanked God. Piety has been commanded along with observing the ties of kinship. Therefore, one who does not observe the ties of Kinship has not adopted piety (towards God).
َ قييا َ قلي ي َ ل َوال َل وَک َييثَرة َ َ ضيياع ِ ض ال َ ل َوإ ّ إ-93 َ ة ال ُ ن اللييه َيبغَ ي ِ مييا َ س .ل ّ ال ِ ؤا
93- God has enmity with, & dislikes the futile talk and wasting money & much begging & requesting.
وََل،ک َوف يا ٌَء ٌ ّ سود ٍ ل َذ ٌ ح ٍ مل ُييو َ ِ وََل ل،ة َ ل َرا ُ ح ُ ِ وََل ل،ة َ َلي-94 ٍ س ل َِبخي ُ َ ل ِک . ٌ مُروّة ُ ب ٍ ذو
94- The Miser does not have comfort & the jealous one has no joy & enjoyment, kings are unfaithful, and a liar has no manliness (courage).
َ جاِلس .ه َ ب ال ِ سّلم ع ََلي َ ِشار َ ُ َل ت-95 َ ُ خمرِ وََل ت
95- Do not acquire the company of a drinker & do not salute him.
96- See & visit each other so as to get friendlier.
.حاّبوا َ َ ت ََزاوَُروا ت-96
َ من َل ّ ن ال .ه ِ ب َ ذن ُ ِ َالّتائ-97 ُ َب ل َ َب ک ِ ذن َ م
97- One who repents (upon a sin) is like the one who does not have a sin.
َ ب ِ ب ال ِ ت ُيک ِ مي ِ ب ُ سي ّ إ،ة ٌ ت َبيا َ صيم َ حک ُ صيم ّ ن ال ِ وا ّ َال-98 َ مين أبي ّ ُ ل ع ََلی ک ٌ ه د َِلي .ر َ ل َ ّ حب َ م ُ ّ ة إن َ ال ٍ خي 98- Silence is a gate from the gates of wisdom. Verily silence generates love and it is a guide to all virtues.
َ ُ ضي ه ِ صل َر ِ صييل ب ِي ِ ٍشرب َة ِ ِ مکَ وََلو ب ِ -99 َ وَأف،ميياٍء َ ل َ من َ ح َ مييا ُتو َ ف اَل . عنَها َ ذی ّ َ حم ک ِ الّر
99- Fulfil the rights of your relatives with as little as providing drink of water. The best way of fulfilling the rights of relatives is to refrain from harming them. 4
َ َ إن اليما-100 ُ ضيي ُ ض ل ٍ ج ِ ل َ وی أف َ لسَلم ِ ب ِد ََر َ ن أف َ َ ِ ّ َ َوالّتقيي،ة َ م ِ ن َا َ ُ ض وَلييم،ة ٍ جي ِ ل ِ َ َوالي،ة ٍ ج ِ َ ن ب ِد ََر َ ن أف َ ن ب ِد ََر َ لي َ لي ِ مييا َ مي ُ قي ِ ما َ م ِ نا ِ نا َ َ َ ض .ن ِ َ ن الي ِ ل َ م أف َ َ ُيعط ب َُنو آد َ م ِ قي 100.Faith is one degree superior to islam, Piety is superior by one degree to Faith, and certitude (conviction) is a station superior to faith. Nothing better has been bestowed upon human beings than certitude.

ZIYAARAT AMEENALLAAH In the Name of Allah, The All-compassionate, The All-merciful Peace be on you, 0 trusted guardian, appointed by Allah, to administer His earth, and to convince the mankind to accept H is plan. Peace be on you, 0 Ameer ul Moomineen; I testify that you made utmost efforts, as it should be, in the cause of Allah, acted upon His Book, followed the way of life of His Prophet, [blessings of Allah be on him and on his children] , to the last moment of your life, until Allah invited you to come unto Him, and used His discretion to take you away, and sealed your enemies' doom with the allegation that the arguments had been made known to one and all through you. O' Allah let me be happy and I satisfied with that which Thou considers good for me, (let me agree with that which Thou decides for me, Let me passionately remember Thee, and invoke Thee, let me be in love with Thy pure and sincere friends, let me be well-liked and respected on the earth, and in the heavens, let me be unruffled and well- composed in the midst of misfortunes, let me be gratefully thankful in prosperity, let me be mindful of much and more bounties, let me ardently desire for the heart warming meeting with Thee; well-equipped with piety to gain my end on the Day of Requital, let me follow into the footsteps of Thy representatives,
let me disassociate myself from the mannerism of Thy enemies, let me pass my time, in this world, by praising and glorifying Thee. 0 Allah, verily, the hearts of those who surrender to Thee, are full of passionate love, the path of those, who long for Thee, is the straight (true) road, the instructions given by those, who lean on Thee, are distinct and precise, the minds of those, who are aware of Thy reality, are filled with awe and reverence, the call of those, who invite unto Thee, is loud and clear, and the doors of approval are kept open for them; whoso submits his supplication to Thee receives a favorable answer, whoso turns repentant unto Thee gets acceptance (amnesty), whoso bursts into tears in fear of Thy punishment obtains mercy, whoso seeks redress from Thee finds the required assistance at his disposal, whoso asks for Thy help procures the aid as a gift. Thy promise made with Thy servants is fulfilled; whoso asks for pardon of his errors finds them reduced to nothing, whoso does everything for Thy sake discovers that each and every deed has been preserved. The means of livelihood available to the created beings come from Thee like a rainfall, and in addition many recurring favors and bounties reach them in regular successions, the sins of those, who ask for forgiveness, are overlooked, the wants and needs of all that which has been created by Thee are properly satisfied, those who put forward genuine demands get more than they ask for, one after the other, again and again; for the hungry wholesome food is arranged, for the thirsty clean water is available in abundance. 0 Allah give favorable answer to my prayer, acknowledge the praise I sing in worship, let there be peace and harmony between me and my friends, for the sake of Mohammad,
Ali, Fatimah, Hasan and Husayn; Verily, Thou art my Benefactor who provides with bounties, the aim of my desires, the ultimate destination of my hopes, in my future life, and during this short life. Thou art my God, my Master and my Lord; welcome my friends, keep our enemies away from us; to save us from the evil mischief divert their attention, let the "true Word" come out in the open, supreme and dominant, refute and condemn the "foul lie", rendered contemptible, Verily, Thou art able to do all things.
